Hello my readers I hope you all had a wonderful Halloween, despite the pandemic and the protests going on around this growing toxic world of ours. I'm going to be taking some time off doing some writing, and I'm gonna try to get back into drawing, I've gotten in the mood to draw Chibi's an I haven't done any art for a really long time. Good news is I plan on drawing pictures of Selene and Asariel, but first I need to get a new sketchbook. On the bright side all chapters 15 to 20 of the first installment has been updated fully.
I do however blame my kids for a new inspiration I have for Selene, for the next chapter "spoiler alert' episode of this book. Why do I blame my kids? They have a obsession with Frozen! So, finally, they got to see Frozen 2 and thanks to getting to see the movie myself, it got me thinking about how similar Selene and Elsa are in frozen 2. Off the record, I've only herd the songs my kids ages 2 and 3 found on YouTube I happen to like so much better then the first movie.
Spoiler alert if you haven't seen the movie yet. So in frozen 2 we find out Elsa takes a journey to find out the truth on why she has been blessed with her ice powers. Selene's sorta kinda on the same path of finding out answers about herself, in turn 2 different versions of the 8th episode of Lucifer was born.
I really hate that season 5 of Lucifer is split up, and we have to wait till next year to see the other half for the dream scene I have planned out to foreshadow Lucifer's and Michaels showdown again( possible chance just cause God showed up on earth doesn't mean Michael will halt his plan) , but I can deal with a rough draft till I see the rest of the season.
The next morning Lucifer woke up to Selene still sleeping next to him, the sex they had last night before was much more amazing then the first time. He propped his head in his hand and admired her sleeping form, wrapped up in his shirt and a muddy girl lace trim camisole tank top and matching underwear. He felt at peace as much as she was laying beside him peaceful, a smile crept the corners of his mouth as he thought it was so tempting to startle her awake.
He felt like he could watch her sleep forever, but even he knew she needed to wake up. So he decided to snore and snort, in turn woke her up to see him smiling at her. "Hi." she said sleepy made him chuckle, "Hello." her smile was warm enough to melt any cold heart, "Was I snoring again?- never mind you can't lie." Lucifer hummed a little as she stroked his beard and he leaned in for a morning kiss. "Are you cold?" He questioned when the kiss broke, Selene blinked at him, "No should I be?"
Lucifer looked perplexed, "Odd, I guess Hell hasn't frozen over, given that you have mentioned you would never hook up with some player, and here all this time I almost thought I have no chance on sleeping with you. Well, least not till you came out and told me you wanted to sleep with me." Selene took a moment to realize what he said and laughed a bit, "You're very funny. I simply recall telling you that I trust you enough to let you be my first." He leaned in to kiss her "Oh, I know I'm very funny. I also know that you are ticklish." He went in after her neck making her squeal and laugh as his fingers tickled her side.
"Ok! Ok! white flag!" she squirmed as he tickled her then stopped to let her breath chuckling. "I'm starving. So what do you feel like? Bacon pancakes, or old fashioned?" Selene asked him as her finger traced around his lips, "What ever you want is dandy." He smiled laying back down Selene sat up, "Oh c'mon you must be in the mood for something?" He didn't respond and she decided to just get on top straddling him, "Tell me what you desire for breakfast."
Lucifer felt a strong pull looking into her blue eyes "I... I want to have sex with you another 4 times." He snapped out of it confused on what just happened, "What..." Lucifer had a 'what just happened' look as Selene looked at him with a perplexed looked when she sat up away from him. "Ok you're messing with me." Lucifer looked at her with a weary laugh, "Am I?" Selene nodded, "Yes, there's no possible way I could have used your own powers against you, not when I have my own. I have no need for yours." She slipped off of him to look for her phone to check the messages throwing her bra off the lamp, Lucifer sat up and began to wonder something he knew he had to see the Doctor after Selene got to work on making breakfast for them to eat.
Lucifer barged in after quick knock clearly in distress, "Doctor!" He walked down the steps into Linda's home, "I need your help with a pressing... -What is that sound?" he questioned hearing a strange noise, Linda seemed in too much of a good mood, "My boobs. I'm pumping. Wearable breast pumps, best invention since the epidural. Selene recommended it, I need to thank her for the idea." Linda said sounding thrilled as she was getting back to what she was doing. "Selene has my mojo." Lucifer flat out said it making Linda stop and look at him, " She- what?" Linda said in disbelief.
"How could she possibly have that when she has her own?" Linda asked as Lucifer sighed, "Well we had sex, multiple times at that. Then this morning she... can do what I do. expose people's desires." Linda was wondering if she was the right person to ask about this, "Well, how did that happen?" Lucifer's voice got a little louder, "I don't know, Doctor. Why do you think I've come to see you? All I know is she didn't have mojo, then we had sex, and now she dose." Lucifer said pacing the room Linda was trying to wrap her head around this problem.
"How did you even find out that she could?" Linda asked curious as Lucifer was much more calm, "Well, only by accident. She was on top of me when she asked me what I desired for breakfast, she thought I was the one messing with her. This has never happened before, Doctor, I don't understand why it's happening now." Linda knew this concerned Lucifer and she didn't know what to say, "Lucifer, Your mojo is like a superpower not a STD, If that was the case why didn't you get any of her powers?"
Lucifer didn't think about that, no had he thought about testing that theory, "I'm not sure if I even do have any of her powers, the problem is I no longer have it and I need to get it back." Linda really didn't seem convinced this was a problem, her mind agreed it is quite alarming.
"Why dose this have to be a problem?" Linda asked as Lucifer sighed, "Because... desire is my thing. I'm useful to the detective with it, without it what role will I even have anymore. Who even am I?" Linda sighed and began to see if she could find out more.
"Ok, So you don't think you could share this with Selene and still be you? Lucifer that is what being in a relationship is, sharing without losing yourself in the process. besides the fact Selene can now draw out people's desire doesn't mean you have to stop." Lucifer had a feeling she was right, deep don maybe he was really worried for nothing, "You're right. You're right. I am and always will be the master of the mojo. King of desire." He began to make his way out leaving Linda alone to get to work.
Meanwhile that early afternoon Selene was at her house setting up jumps with the girls help, an watch Selene do the jumps beside each horse, leading them though the obstacle course she had set up. No matter what Selene always found ways to bond with her horses, even if it means doing Jumps together rather then ride them though the jumps. She gave them praises and lot's of love after they were done with the jumps, they didn't have any tacks on them as Selene tries to give the tacks a break from her horses and work without it.
"Looking great out there, Selene. You should totally be entered for number one horse trainer and end up famous in a magazine." Aly said as everyone agreed, "I'm not looking for fame guys, I've had enough of it since my Rodeo days. I don't need to be in the spotlight 24/7 or gain some new title, I've got enough titles in my life." Selene said petting Winter, " And possibly one more as Ms. Morningstar." Dawn teased as Selene pouted, "Don't jump the gun here, Lucifer and I just gotten back together officially since last night, there won't be any wedding bells ringing anytime soon. there's no need to rush into that."
"Has he ever told you the L word yet?" Rosie asked as Selene frowned more and looked down, "Well, no... he never told me he loved me back. But It's ok, really. I want him to take things at his own pace, he just got back from hell I'm not pressuring Lucifer into anything. When he's ready it will happen. On contrary It doesn't matter if he tells me or not, actions speak louder then words, and him going back to hell to keep the demons contained that was a act of love. I'm still sad about Holla being murdered by a demon just so a demon can take over his body, then killing alot of innocent people to bring more demons around."
Selene sighed, "That kind of experience had a 'walking dead' thing going on in literal terms, it was a doozy of a night. I'm just glad I won't have to worry about Lucifer returning to hell ever again. We're both happy now that we want to continue being boyfriend and girlfriend as if we had never stopped. I just hate how much I've left you guys hanging so much and doing everything without me around." They all gave her a look as Rosie spoke up, "Sel, we want you to be happy an we are and we're so proud of you finding someone that treats you right, even if he is the devil."
Selene smiled as she was feeling bashful, "But, shouldn't you be worried about Michael he's still lurking out there?" Aly asked as Selene shrugged, "I'm sure Amenadiel and Lucifer can take care of their brother. I'm not afraid of him and I'm not helpless guys I don't need protecting." Selene said walking the horses back to the paddock to rest. "Besides his beef isn't with me, It's mainly Lucifer." and speaking of the devil Lucifer showed up.
"Hello ladies." he had a big grin on his face he was lucky to find them all here cause he was going to need them. "Hi Lucifer." The girls all said except Selene looking at Lucifer with concern, "What brings you here? Thought you're on an case?" the girls looked at the both of them, "I'm completely powerless Selene." she looked kind of lost, "What do you mean powerless?" Lucifer sighed, "I can't draw out peoples desires anymore."
Selene questioned the fact if he was serious, but from what she herd about from Amenadiel it is possible for angels to loose their power. She wasn't going to take his words with a grain of salt, "Ok so what could possibly have caused you to loose your power? Were you feeling something? Thinking about something?" her mind questioned what possible answer Lucifer would spout out, "Well I had sex with you last night, darling, many many times." he grinned then his expression changed "Then when you aske me what I desired I felt it coming from you and told you what I desired." Realization clicked into her head.

wait...I used his own power against him? He was actually serious about this morning? oh man I thought he was joking.

"Lucifer, It can't be possible that I have it, I have my own I don't need yours. What happened this morning I thought you were joking with me so I didn't take the moment seriously like I did anything to you but asked a simple question." The girls listened in watching how they interacted, by Lucifer's actions they started to see him in a different light, now that they are seeing how the lovebirds are together. "There's only one way to be sure." he said as Selene frowned, "Ugh, fine. This ain't gonna work though I'm telling you."
The girls watched and listened intently as Selene met eye to eye with Lucifer, "What do you desire?" Selene said to him as Lucifer felt the pull of hos own power, "I... want my mojo back." Selene let out a gasp of surprise, "Did I really do that?- wait it doesn't matter." Selene said trying to get over her overexcitement to be serious, "Look everything's going to be fine Lucifer, we will figure this out. We just got back together can we not have a repeat of how our relationship first ended? We have something good going on for us, please let's enjoy it and not get obsessive about it. Maybe something will trigger it to come back."
Lucifer chuckled lightly, "Of course. Of course." Selene knew better for as long as she known Lucifer she knew his habits. "You get on back to work and I will see you later tonight ok." Selene sighed and walked away to fill up her drink. Once Lucifer seen her disappear into the house he turned to the girls. "Ladies, I'm so glad to see you, normally I would never ask this, but I need your help with a favor." The girls looked at each other and then looked back at Lucifer.
Dawn spoke up for the group, "What's the favor?" Lucifer sighed and reached in his inner suite pocket with his flask and pulled out a little box and opened it, "You humans have some sort of Engagement ritual and I could really use your help on making the moment perfect for Selene." The girls jaws dropped at the ring in the box, "Oh, Lucifer, she's going to love it." Aly said lowly as all the girls agreed. Lucifer smiled putting the ring away, "Don't let Selene know about this. It has to be a surprise. I'll text you when I'm available and we can get together at my place and come up with a idea. In return you all will have free drinks at Lux whenever you want, a shopping trip on top, or whatever you desire."
The girls huddled and whispered amongst themselves about helping Lucifer out weighing in on the pros and cons until they all agreed and turned to Lucifer, "Alright we will help you with this Selene's happiness mean more to us then anything." Lucifer had a toothy grin, "Wonderful, I look forward to working with you ladies, and you will still be well compensated for all your hard work, regardless if all should fail or not. I'm a devil of my word." Dawn nodded at Lucifer. "We look forward to it too." Lucifer left them be and headed back to work.
later on that day, Selene had been getting texts from Chloe about Lucifer having issues coping with his mojo loss. Since Chloe told her she knows he went home, so she decided to go visit Lucifer, to have a heart to heart talk over a drink about his problem. After parking at Lux she took the elevator up to the penthouse.

Maybe a good talk will help Lucifer, with this, this is a serious matter on his end that I have his desire power, It's not like I asked for his power to jump to me, I don't understand how this happened. Like, my mind is overwhelmed by this ordeal and I still can't wrap my head around this. Maybe he will be more open if I explain what being in a relationship entails, and try to explain it the way he can understand.
*elevator dings and the doors open to the penthouse*

Selene walked into the penthouse and looked around, "Lucifer?" She was wondering if she should have looked in Lux first, "I herd you're not coping well with the loss of your powers. I know it must be really-," She suddenly found herself in front of the bedroom, seeing him laying on the bed naked in a sexy pose she couldn't even finish her sentence. "Hello, darling, I've thought of a way to get it back, if I lost it having sex with you then I must do it to get it back. So..., Lets have sex again, me on top." he purred with his grin.
Selene didn't even know what to think seeing him naked and been fine this whole time, she looked at him unfazed, "Seriously? you think this is some sort of STD, I don't think power's work like that. Even if it did, I think I would have had your mojo a when we first got together." Lucifer sat up on the bed with a scoffing sigh, "Well, we need to try something." he said sounding desperate, Selene sat down on the bed looking at him.
"I get what your going though Lucifer, I was the same way in a reverse situation I was scared of what I could do. I wouldn't mind seeing you like that every time I come over, but having sex for the hell of it wouldn't really be fun." Lucifer huffed out a sigh as she continued to speak, "I have been worried about you all day coping with being powerless. relationships are all about give and take." Lucifer took things the wrong way as he normally dose, "Well that's easy for you to say. So far, it's all 'I give and you take.'"
She looked at him knowing Lucifer has alot to learn, "Emotionally, Lucifer." she was waiting for Lucifer to somewhat understand and she knew his expressions very well, "Oh... I exactly know what you mean." he chuckled as Selene mentally rolled her eyes, feeling so lucky to love him she knew somethings will never change with him. That was one of the reasons she fell for him knowing even now he was showing his true colors.
Before she knew it he had decided to take her to see Linda and do couples therapy sitting inside her office. "Your serious about this, we haven't been a couple long since you came back from hell, for the record this wasn't what I meant about emotionally." Linda sighed as she looked at the both of them, "I see. But I'm afraid in order for this to work you both have to be willing to be here." Selene nodded, "Oh, no I am. I have no issues on it, maybe with luck we can make a breakthrough. It makes no sense that I stole his power, during sex. We had sex a few times when we got together the first time, and this problem never happened before recently."
Linda thought about how to word things so Lucifer can understand, "Well, it's not like we covered celestial powers in med school." Selene knew she had a good point, Selene felt Lucifer had to be the most challenging thing in her life and she loved challenges, she felt Lucifer basically takes the cake after watching him mess up so much. "But having sex with someone you truly care about requires surrendering control, giving up power. On a emotional level Lucifer's reasoning does make some sense. The fact that he came to this emotionally mature insight on his own... impressive." Linda said as Lucifer thanked her.
Selene has noticed that as well, but she knows sometimes things tend to backfire if it's too good. "It's a good sign that he's grown." Selene wasn't quite sure about that. "Ok, so look. Try to put yourself in Lucifer's shoes. for instance let's say you were to loose your bar to find out Lucifer bought it out." Selene got the hint between the lines she nodded listening to Linda, " Being a entertainer at your bar is a big part of your Identity here in LA. It empowers you. Now imagine having that stripped away from you, Lucifer's issues can seem 'outlandish' would be putting it mildly."
Selene was starting to understand, "Oh...I never thought of it that way, though I suppose I could sympathize with the identity issue, not that I have been in the exact situation but instead I discovered my powers and I didn't know just what I was anymore. Of course now I am at the point of not caring anymore, but that's besides the point." Linda nodded in understanding. "If there's one thing I've learned, is that there's something buried underneath, sometimes deep, deep, deep, deep, down, but ultimately meaningful, and worth trying to understand." Selene was determined to least breakthrough his walls she just needed now to figure out how to do it.
The rest of the day turned into Lucifer taking her back to Lux to get her Jeep, since he had to go to work and she wasn't quite interested on who they were meeting with, so she pent the rest of her time at home to have her horses taken care of with love, attention and beach ball fun. She loved to change up routines with the horses to keep them satisfied especially with training a untrained horse she was thinking about not really training him.
Selene was pondering on Linda's words since the therapy session made her feel so guilty in a different kind of way, she was smoking herself a nice blunt realizing she had been dismissing Lucifer's antics so easily as she was so use to it that it was second nature. She found it so easy to forget just what Lucifer's powers mean to him, she was relived when when he texted her he got his power back somehow as confused on how it happened. She knew she had to work soon but she had a nagging need to just be open with him.
That night she was at her bar it was a slow day for once since she wasn't performing as much, but it was great cause she had her family to talk to and be open with since there's no more secrets to hide. "I don't think I will ever understand Lucifer's revelations he gets while working on cases, It's a odd method, but I have to say it is effective... to a degree. I keep forgetting he's not human." Dawn noticed something else was on her mind and hoped she would come out with it, "I know what you mean I mean we all thought he was human too, least until you told us otherwise. You and Lucifer have a perfectly normal yet unusual relationship, because of what you both can do. I wouldn't mull over it too much Sel."
"Your right, I need to get it in my head that he and I are so different. This is the hardest challenging relationship to be in, Lucifer hasn't quite tapped into the full extent of his emotions, he's always learning new things, but what is happening between us seemed to have jumped 3 levels and gave us both a curveball we both didn't expect." Dawn smiled at her with confidence, "All relationships have curveball but you both will get over it, you both love each other so much your love for each other is certainly going to be tested."
"That's just it Dawn, I'm not sure if Lucifer really dose love me, I mean last time we dated he openly admitted in using me, I'm wondering if maybe he still is and he's not realizing it this time, he told me I was his first love, but yet he never said 'I love you' back... though I suppose that was painful for him to say seeing as he was going back to hell at that moment... still It would be nice to hear him say it." Dawn secretly bit her tongue knowing Lucifer had intentions on proposing to Selene, and sworn to keep it secret.
"He will, Sel, I have faith in the both of you. Just treat him like you do with the horses. You both have chemistry together if you have your doubts about it, I herd there's a man in China that helps people find their soulmates with his psychic vision and then draws them in perfect detail, a lot of people were able to find their soulmate's and well.. I was actually going to give it a try my luck for a photo of my soulmate. I'm willing to try anything to get a date, Aly got back with Aiden after all, who knows maybe one of our male regulars might just happen to be my soulmate." Selene hated the next set of words that came out of her mouth.
"And what if your soulmate happens to be a female, Dawn?" Dawn frowned, "Then I guess I'll be questioning my sexuality, I was thinking about experimenting and give dating women a try. Who knows maybe I'll come to full term with my sexuality. Don't get me wrong it's nice to have one night stands and all, but I need more then that. I want to settle down and build a family of my own eventually." Selene was filling up shot glasses by the dozen while listening to Dawn.
"I guess it wouldn't hurt to give this Chinese psychic a try, I'll leave that all to you to do for me if you decide to go a head and get a picture of who you're meant to be with. I use to be into Wiccan culture so I guess the idea isn't too farfetched." Selene said as she pulled out more shot glasses to fill passing the tray down to Elise at the register taking orders then moving on to mixing drinks. "I'm not going to stay long cause I think I need to explain things more to Lucifer about how things work, I'm not a expert, but I've seen a lot to know how it can be at times."
Selene finished up her work and was out of there by 10:30 pm to head out to Lucifer's place to see him knowing he should be home by now if anything. When she got there she took the elevator up to the penthouse, Lucky for her when the doors opened up she saw Lucifer was pouring himself a drink all he was in was his 3 piece suite minus the jacket, "Good evening." She smiled walking to him. "Selene. What are you doing here shouldn't you be working?" He said as he took a drink, Selene went behind the bar and grabbed herself a glass and poured some whiskey.
"I should be, but I left early, I wanted to check on you." Lucifer smiled, "It's a lovely night tonight, care to join me outside?" She nodded and joined him outside and talked about the whisper killer case and everything that happened and how he felt in the moment. Selene stood beside him, "You know... when your vulnerable around me I don't realize how strong you are, powerful even." Lucifer looked out into the city lights as her hand was on his arm, "Less and less, as your well aware." Selene sighed looking at him warmly, "I can imagine feeling human was so hard on you, feeling helpless and having to rely on others, It can't be a easy thing to be scared for once for someone like you."
Lucifer scoffed and took a sip of his drink, "I suppose what I call powerlessness is what everyone else calls a Tuesday." she lightly chuckled giving him a sympathetic look, " I understand your upset about it, you lost your power, for you it's a bad thing something to fear, but maybe it's not a bad thing. Recall, I had a theory about you wanting to possibly be human by cutting off your wings, that maybe... even with all the confusing feelings you're having and don't understand, maybe a part of you wanted to have a taste of what it would be like to truly be mortal and that's why you lost your power... still doesn't make sense that I ended up with it."
Lucifer looked at her not quite sure where things were going he chuckled, "Wha-? Now your spewing nonsense." She looked at him being serious, "Am I? I mean the logical explanation I could think of is subconsciously you gave it to me, sometimes we do things without realizing we do them, and maybe I finally put a big crack in the wall you have around yourself. It wouldn't hurt to tear the wall down, open up... and let me in. It would really be liberating to do so." Lucifer looked at her as if she was now making sense, he thought about it was time to move forward and be able to keep the bon they have.
His mind went back to the safe that held thing ring he had made, "Quite right. I think I may have dropped my guard." She smiled at him feeling like she could loose herself in his eyes, "I'm going to freshen up, I haven't eaten anything at all since lunch, I don't mind for some takeout if you like to have some late night dinner delivered in the meantime." she said before making her way to the bathroom leaving him by himself for a few to ponder more on the idea.
Lucifer finished the drink in his glass when the sound of the elevator dinged, he wasn't expecting anyone else tonight, so he turned around to see Dan walking in to the penthouse. "Oh. Dearie me." He laughed seeing him, "Still suffering with a bout of the old trotskies are we?" he asked amused to see Dan in his penthouse. he walked over to him setting his empty glass down laughing, shakily Dan whipped out his gun and pointed it at Lucifer there wasn't fear in his eyes but he was nervous physically, but his eyes had the calm before the deadly storm look as he was at war with himself for what he was about to do. "I was only joking, Daniel."
Lucifer's smile faded when he noticed Dan wasn't being himself as Lucifer was confused by Dan's actions of pointing the gun at him, Selene walked out to see Dan was there pointing his gun at Lucifer. "Dan? What are you doing?" Selene questioned as Lucifer and Dan looked at her putting the gun down with a shuddering breath, Selene looked confused on why Dan had pointed his gun at Lucifer. He then turned his attention away from Selene, to summon up the courage to kill Lucifer, "I'm sorry, I have too." Lucifer turned his attention to Daniel when he pointed the gun back at Lucifer and she saw he was about to pull the trigger.
"No... Don't do it Dan!" She realized what his intentions were but he had pulled the trigger an with a bang the bullet flew out and hit Lucifer in the chest, sending Lucifer off his feet. "No!" She watched in horror as Lucifer was shot once again before her eyes, she saw him hit the ground and ran to his side.
"Lucifer!"
