Hello readers! I hope your holiday's go well this year! I got some news I do intend on posting my version of the episode 'Once upon a time", once I make up my mind on how to make things work I'm just not sure if it will be a 1 shot or 2 shot story yet.
I have gotten around to sketching out Chibi versions of Selene and Asariel I just got one issue that I will soon have resolved which is locating my coloring pencils, worst comes to worst I'll just have to buy new set.
Last thing I wanna say is I hope everyone has a great Christmas even in this tough time with Covid, and a happy new year as for anyone celebrating their birthday's this month.
I hope we get some news about the second half of season 5 so far lots of season 6 sneaks when we should be getting more 5B sneaks, But I do enjoy having a break from writing. Untill the next half of Season 5 comes out this will be my last chapter. Please be sure to check back on my profile I will have my artwork posted there when it is done. It was like slow-motion seeing Lucifer knocked off his feet, Selene watched in horror as she ran to his side when he hit the ground motionless. His eyes were open and he wasn't breathing as if the shot was a instant kill shot, Selene hovered over him yet no blood poured out of the gunshot wound. All Selene cold think of was that Lucifer really was dead this time, Dan was still holding the gun up shaken by what he had done, his eyes and face showed mixed emotions.
Selene's eyes filled with tears when suddenly Lucifer let out a gasp and sat up. Selene was shocked that he was still alive, "Y-You're okay." Lucifer was panting when he removed the bullet and looked at it, "I'm okay." he said as if he couldn't believe it himself. Dan was shocked to see Lucifer was still alive as fear took over his thoughts putting the gun down, "You're okay." he said in disbelief and Selene turned her head to glare daggers at Dan.
"What the hell were you thinking!" she said getting up to confront Dan pissed off by what he had done knocking the gun out of Dan's hands. Lucifer looked at Dan confused by what could have caused Dan to do this to him, " What was I thinking? What are you doing? He's the Devil and you known about it!" Lucifer spoke as he got to his feet, "I've never hidden my devil-ness from anyone." Selene paid no mind to Lucifer as she was fuming. "How did you find out?" She questioned sternly wanting to know what brought this about.
"I saw him that night with Amenadiel and Charlie. I came back and I saw his... his freaking scary ass red face." Lucifer retorted, "Well, I'm not particularly fond of your face either, Daniel, but you don't see me trying to kill you." Dan was clearly a mess looking back to Selene, "How am I the bad guy here, huh? I was trying to save you, Trixie...I- I'm trying to save the world!" he was blinded by anger an Selene took a deep calming breath. "Ok. I understand. I get it, I didn't believe the fact the devil is real, when I learned about it... it did come as a shock- it took time to process it, but Lucifer isn't what the world makes him out to be, He's a good man."
Dan just sputters not knowing what to say having to hear this from Selene, "He is. You know it too Dan, you have worked with him, despite your differences. You know him." Suddenly the sound of gunfire made Selene jump to turn around to see Lucifer had shot himself, clearly amused by the fact he is invulnerable now with her around. "Huh. Yep, invulnerable." he laughed clearly in a good mood as Selene walked over and took the gun from Lucifer. Dan shook his head as he couldn't make sense of what was happening.
"This is crazy! It's crazy! You're all- You're all crazy!" He said turning to leave back to the elevator, Selene was half tempted to stop him from leaving to talk sense into him, but clearly Dan needed time to cool down and she had to make sure Lucifer was alright. Selene turned her attention to Lucifer and put her hand on his chest by the bullet wound, "Are you sure you're okay?" she asked looking at Lucifer with the look that he hasn't seen since she watched him get shot in the face. He took her hand looking at her with reassurance, "I'm more then okay. I'm completely invulnerable even around you." he chuckled with a grin.
Selene was taken back by this and didn't understand what had happened as everything happened so fast. She was much calmer now to know he was alright, "Why now all of a sudden?" Lucifer was too excited to care he was happy to not be dead, "Who cares? Would you rather the bullet have killed me?" he said holding it up. Selene shook her head, "No. Of course not Lucifer I... I'm just trying to make sense of what just happened and why it happened. I gained you're power, and now this..." she took a breath an shook her head, "You're right. I'm glad you're alright."
Lucifer chuckled and leaned in for a kiss she was happy to accept, then break as this night has overwhelmed her with what happened. She looked at Lucifer with a smile, "I should go." Lucifer nodded in agreement, "Right. Goodnight Selene." He couldn't blame her for being shaken up, she has seen him get shot again. When she disappeared behind the closed elevator doors he looked down with a sigh at his now ruined shirt and the bullet in his hand. He clearly didn't expect this to happen, but yet every human reacts differently to the Divine, but he didn't expect to be shot either.
Meanwhile Selene got home and lit up a joint while getting herself settled in for the night, the whole event weighed on her, an now being alone she could let her tears fall free and break down. She wished she didn't have to witness that happening to Lucifer again, it took her some time to pull herself together to finish her joint before it burned away. She made a choice to having to visit Dan and have hope she could make him see reason.
The next day, Selene was still thinking about seeing Dan, but instead just let him go and give him some space. She had more important matters to attend do, like giving every one of her horses attention especially Hershey and Nilla as she was going to train them both to work together to do a roman trick riding stunt standing on both horses. She's known they had time to adjust to each other and decided to work with them both, so she got down to doing all the chores before training them. When Selene looked at the schedule she had made for herself she felt like she needed to tweak her time with horses, and think about it with her future in mind.
(Selene's POV thoughts)
I can't believe I watched Lucifer get shot again...by Dan no less! I sympathize the man is scared now that he knows the truth too, but still... Lucifer hasn't done anything wrong to justify what Dan had done. So much for hoping to ease him into the Celestial world of knowledge.
Ah well, can't be helped. I can't help but have a weird feeling...like I know I feel my powers are growing, but there's something more then that I can't describe. I wish I could know what it is. Could answers be coming my way soon? I was born for a purpose with theses powers, but what am I truly meant to do? Am I going to have to leave Earth I don't have any wings? Am I really worthy of this responsibility?
(Selene's POV thoughts)
Selene spent 2 hours that morning to work with Hershey and Nilla together, then let them back out to the paddock for a rest and food. She went inside and had realized she was getting behind on cleaning her house up, and the laundry was piling up as well. With a huffing sigh she had to look at her little planner book to see what all she had to do today, and that happened to be picking up supplies, when her phone went off.
When She looked at it she saw it was a text from Amenadiel, asking if she could do him a favor and get him a few things for Charlie. She sent a text back and then made sure to have everything she needed before leaving the house an climbing into the Jeep. Selene was picking up a few things for Charlie, she was nice enough to get him a few new outfits to wear an even picked up something for Amenadiel to eat since it wouldn't been fair to get food for herself and not do something nice for him.
Selene arrived at Linda's carrying bags into the house, "I'm here. I got what all you asked for." Selene said as Amenadiel walked down the steps with Charlie, "Good timing, Charlie just woke up from his nap." Selene smiled and put the bags down to take Charlie, "Hey there, little man, good to see you're in a better mood." Selene walked to the living room and sat down to play with Charlie while Amenadiel put away groceries, "So tell me, Selene, How are things between you and Lucifer?" Amenadiel asked as he was concerned for his brother's relationship especially after what had happened when Aiden was here. "Lucifer and I are great actually, we talked things out and were officially a couple now. Everything feels so normal again as if the last two months of him being gone never happened."
Amenadiel smiled, "Well I'm glad you two worked things out, I'll admit my brother is self destructive, but It appears now he's finally figured out what he wanted. If I were to say anything about my brother is that I believe you have made him a better angel." Selene blushed alittle, "I didn't do much... maybe I might have broken his walls alittle and showed him how family should be when I took him back home with me. I'm still impressed on how well he did cattle rustling as much as Tux did most of the work still he handled Tux's impulsive ways."
"Lucifer? Cattle rustling? You're joking." Amenaiel raised a eyebrow, "Yep, Lucifer actually had alot of fun at the ranch, learning new things thrills him." She said smiling then frown, "As much as the memory of that night he left hurts, I've realized in that moment Lucifer in a way did exactly tell me how he felt by calling me his first love. I'm just worried about Michael and whatever scheme he's got going on...I mean he almost ruined us I don't understand his endgame because I don't know him as well as I know you and Lucifer."
Ameandiel sat down with Selene, "Well, as I'm sure you're aware Lucifer reveals desire while Michael deals with fears." Selene nodded understanding that very well she wasn't immune to Michael's power. "He's also good at manipulation turning fears against others, I understand why you both have a distaste for him I hardly know him and after what he did I don't blame you for not liking your brother, sadly, we all can't pick and choose our siblings. I will say this though he had it coming from Lucifer, I just wonder what God thinks of the mess Michael has made."
Amenadiel frowned, "Father doesn't even know Michael is here on earth according to when I figured it out, can't say he won't be thrilled." Selene looked at Amenadiel, "Well, that's not good, I mean it's bad enough that he's God's right hand now, he killed Asariel just so I'm here for some reason I wish I knew but that's not important. I think the sooner we find out Michaels plan the faster we can put a stop to it, I don't know how you and Lucifer can be so complacent the fact Michael is here. He needs his feathered ass kicked back to heaven where he belongs.."
Amenadiel looked at her amused, "I know and you're right we should be finding out Michael's plan. If I've learned anything working with Chloe is that we can't figure out anything until we get all the clues and so far Michael has been quiet and laying low." Selene scoffed, "That's what worries me he's gotten too quiet. His target is Lucifer mainly, I don't understand why I mean, Michael was the one who kicked him out of heaven basically won the rebellion war. Personally, If anyone should have the right to be vengeful it's Lucifer, but I don't see him taking the leap unless necessary."
Amenadiel understood where she was coming from, deep down he agreed with her that they should be focusing on Michael, "I hope we do have more clues as to what he's up to before it's too late, especially when it involves Lucifer. Those two are evenly matched being that they are twins. They always had that 'anything you can do I can do better' kind of relationship," he said as Selene was listening playing with Charlie making him giggle, "Until then there's nothing we can do about Michael right now." Selene nodded, "I did end up hurting Michael pretty good he must be hiding somewhere licking his wounds. I'm confident to say I haven't seen the last of him after what I done to him that's for sure."
Selene put Charlie in his rocker swing to give Amenadiel her full attention. "Am I wrong to be so worried so much? This year has been quite stressful with everything." She sighed rubbing her legs, "I can't help but feel like something is going to happen. Maybe it might involve me getting stronger, as comfortable I am with my powers I'm still scared of what I can do. I don't know if I can handle it." she was exposing her vulnerability leaving herself wide open.
Amenadiel looked at her with a soften expression, "It's never wrong to worry, and weather you realize it or not you are strong, not just physically either." She let out a sigh, "I know maybe I'm being a tad dramatic over everything, but I was the one hurt in this little game of Michael's I can't get over what he had done to me. I want to let it go but something's holding me back that I just...can't." She huffed, "Maybe part of me thinks Michael is right.. Lucifer and I might never work. I don't want our love to be for nothing."
Amenadiel moved to sit by Selene, "I have faith in you and Lucifer being together. Who knows perhaps Lucifer will surprise you, if I know anything about Lucifer he's all about action." She chuckled fondly, "Lucifer is passionate about the things he dose, he really prides himself on his work with the LAPD." She realized there was someone he hasn't been able to reach for a while, "Come to think of it, Amenadiel have you herd from Maze? I can't seem to get a hold of her for rehearsals, plus I've been kinda wanting some time with her."
"Maze is...well, Maze. I'm not sure what she's doing right now I've hardly seen her myself." Amenadiel said with the 'as a matter of fact' tone. "I'm kinda worried about her, I get the sense that somethings been bothering her since Michael's arrival. I get that she was mad Lucifer left her here, but how much longer is she gonna let that anger build up inside her before she completely snaps?" Selene asked as Amenadiel looked at her, "Maze has her own was of doing things I'm sue she's found something to help her blow off steam I wouldn't worry too much. It's Maze after all." Selene nodded as Charlie was cooing.
"But I do know Maze found her mother, Lilith." Amenadiel caught Selene's surprised expression, "Wait... her mom is Alive?" Amenadiel nodded at Selene" Yes, Alive...well was alive.. last I talked to Maze when she was here.. Lilith gave up her immortality, and abandoned her children to hell Lucifer has been kinda keeping her whereabouts a secret." Selene was surprised look as she let the information sink in.
"Well If he did it for good reason then he's not in the wrong and and Maze is too short fused to stop and think about it. I know it's rough not having your mother around and finding them is even harder. I know it's a shame her mom passed before ever even getting to have any time to connect." Selene frowned sympathetic to Maze's loss. "Life ain't fair like that, it's gonna take some time to get over things but she will, I just hope she doesn't do anything crazy."
"If I see her before you do I'll have her get in touch with you." Amenadiel smile as Selene got up to give Charlie a kiss, "Now you be a good boy, and don't give daddy anymore issue, little man." She smiled at him "I'm going to head on out I got house to clean it's been neglected long enough." She smiled and left him to head back home.
That night Selene had finished all her work, warming up her vocals at home just 2 hours before work, unaware a mysterious figure was watching her in the shadows making their way around to sneak inside seeing as she had headphones on. Selene looked at her lit up phone when she was done to see a text that got her so excited she had to call Dawn.
The figure was lurking around a corner of the room ready to strike as she took off her headphones, and put the phone on speaker only to hear the call went to voice mail. She didn't think anything of it and thought she was just busy, "Hey Dawn, I got our setlist done up I came up with some great mash up songs to try out for singles night on Friday with the the singles released on the radio." Selene was unaware that someone was sneaking up on her, "And someone special is going to be entertaining that night too and you wouldn't- MMMPH!"
Suddenly, someone grabbed her and ripped her away from her work space in her Livingroom. Selene's muffled screams were recorded along with the sounds of furniture breaking and alot of fighting until there was silence when the recording stopped.
Later on at the bar, Dawn noticed Selene was 5 hours late for work. She took a look at her phone to see if Selene left a 'going to be late' text, instead she found a voicemail was left on her phone. She clicked on it then took a chance on listening to it. She was wondering who the surprise mystery entertainer for singles night would be when she herd the sounds of Selene screaming before she could be told. Panic rose in Dawn hearing the sounds of Selene's muffle screams as she fought who ever was attacking her.
"Girls, Hold own the fort something bad happened to Selene I need to get Lucifer." Dawn said powerwalking around grab her things to find Lucifer hopefully home, if not there or down in Lux she would try the precinct last. Dawn was fearful for Selene to have been ambushed like that, before she knew it she found herself at Lux and she checked the club first. He wasn't anywhere in sight so she tried the penthouse, and she herd opera music coming from the elevator and Lucifer was working on the first white board.
The elevator dings and Dawn spotted Lucifer as soon as she looked around, "Lucifer!" She shouted over the music as loud as she could, Lucifer paused as he only had a few things on the board so far. He turned around capping the maker he was using and grabbed the remote, " Dawn? What brings you here?" He asked and looking confused not expecting to see her so suddenly. Then he noticed the look on her face spoke something was wrong, "What's wrong?" he asked looking at her intently.
Dawn pulled out her phone, "S- Something happened to Selene, She hasn't shown up for work It's not like her to be 5 hours late, then things calmed down alittle and I found this voicemail." Dawn played the voicemail Selene left on her phone. "Hey, Dawn, I got our setlist done up. I came up with some great mash up songs to try out for singles night on Friday with the the singles released on the radio, and someone special is going to be entertaining that night too and you wouldn't- MMMPH!" Lucifer herd the struggle and fuss in the background sent alarms in his head. Lucifer grabbed ahold of Dawn and had her come with him, she willingly followed as Lucifer opened up jus car door gesturing for dawn to climb in.
Dawn nodded and they hit the road to Selene's with hope that she was still in her home most likely hurt by someone or worse. Once they got to Selene's Lucifer called in Ella to help as he and dawn made their way inside to see if Selene was ok. When Dawn opened the door and they entered they were greeted with her Livingroom trashed, her keyboard was on its side, guitar laying flat instead of standing up by her work space. It was apparent now that the LAPD get called in on this Selene was nowhere in sight.
By morning police and forensics arrived, Chloe was interrogating Dawn who ended up playing the message for her, Lucifer was anxious as Chloe aske Dawn a few questions, "Do you have any idea who what to hurt Selene?" Dawn shook her head, "No, and she hasn't been acting oddly either, not even with our patrons." She frowned, "It's never like her to be late for work, and I'm only here now because someone needs to look after the horses. I had to come here last night to check on her wellbeing after hearing that voicemail, but she wasn't here I don't even know if she's alright."
Chloe nodded and turned her attention to Ella, "Ella, what do we got?" She asked as Ella took a deep breath, "Well obviously there are signs of forced entry, we have signs of a struggle here, valuables left behind. This doesn't look like a robbery." Lucifer was hoping Ella would just come out and say it. "It's alright Miss Lopez. You can say it. Selene's been kidnapped." Dawn knew the truth deep down someone's got her cousin, "I just hope she's not the next victim in our whisper killer case." He said pacing, "Well, let's not think like that just yet. We still need to find the real killer, we find him we will find Selene, but so far we have nothing to go on, no leads, or any evidence that whisper killer was even here." Ella said.
Dawn was trying to remember anything Selene said, "I wish I could be more help, I should go take care of the horses." Dawn made her way though to go outback to tend to the horses. Ella gave Lucifer a big hug, "We're going to find her Lucifer. We can't loose our heads. Far as we know good news is Selene is alive." Lucifer was getting more and more antsy, "I wish I should have spent time with her then doing other things.." He was sounding guilty on not being with her to protect her from harm.
The rest of the day Lucifer and Chloe worked together with Ella to get the current case finished to help them get a lead on Selene. Lucifer was on edge though the day growing more desperate to find her, wondering who took her and how long until they would find her dead. The rest of the day Lucifer and Chloe continued on with the Klumpsky case to get more information to help out. When they thought there was a chance their case ended up leading them to a dead body they were met with relief it wasn't Selene.
Meanwhile at Amenadiel Maze had shown up doing some research as her phone went off, it was Lucifer calling as Amenadiel was getting the diaper bag and Charlie ready, "Grrr, too many words. Don't you have any books with pictures? I thought you were suppose to help me." Amenadiel was making sure he had everything he needed for Charlie, "Sorry, Maze, I have to get Charlie to the hospital. Linda's leaving her conference early, so she's going to meet us there." Maze didn't understand what the fuss was about, "Aren't you overreacting? I mean, a fever of 101 doesn't sound like a big deal to me. In hell, we kept it at a brisk 120."
Ameandiel scratched his eyebrow, "Right. Well, while 101 might not be the end of the world for a normal baby, Charlie's part angel, so for him to be running a fever like this something must be wrong." He gathered up the car seat with Charlie ready to leave when Maze's phone rang. It kept on ringing and he gave her a look, "You're suppose to pick that up when it makes that noise, right?" Maze went silent for a while as the phone continues to ring.
"I'm not talking to Lucifer." she stated as Amenadiel looked at her, "Maze..." She glared at him bitterly, "He kept my mother from me." He looked at her seriously, "Dose Lucifer even know why you're mad at him?" Maze went silent, "No? Well, maybe you might want to tell him." He said before leaving her at the house alone. The phone rang again and this time she picked up, "What part of me not picking up are you not picking up on." She stated firmly to Lucifer, her face changed when she was told, "Selene's been what? Tell me what you need me to do." Maze had a feeling who took Selene and she wasn't happy about it at all.
Meanwhile somewhere in Los Angeles Selene was lying in a rock cage unconscious like a doll left of the floor, looking clearly banged up.
(Selene's dream)
It was dark as Selene was walking around confused at the wide open field before her and a path leading into the woods. Selene was completely confused not knowing where she was as nothing looked familiar to her at all, she then spotted something at the edge of the woods. She thought she was hallucinating but she headed down the path to find out what she was seeing. When she reached the entrance to the dense forest, where the glowing light started to float away as if leading her somewhere.
"What are you... and where are you leading me?" She followed the light deep into the woods when suddenly she started to hear voices she couldn't quite make out. The deeper she followed the light, the louder the voices were getting as she was confused unable to recognize them, a strange feeling flooded though her making her stop in her tracks and focus on the voices she was hearing. She forgot about the floating light and when she looked around the dark forest. She felt lost now that the light was gone, but something kept nagging at her in the silence of the dark forest she was in.
She was starting to panic when a idea came to mind to see if she could some how call out to the floating light. Selene saw the light again and followed after it when it started getting away. her feeling and dreams might just give her the answer she seeks as the feeling inside her got stronger chasing the light orb.
Selene had arrived to a waterfall like clearing as the light had lead her to what looked to have been a alter to worship the moon. Selene caught her breath as she looked around the surrounding beauty, she saw the light orb hovering over a stone alter with a crescent moon mosaic floor.
Selene approached the alter when the light disappeared into the giant crescent moon symbol making it glow Selene noticed the moon in the sky was position just right. Selene summoned up the courage to step on the glowing light, and was hit with flooding power as her body glowed with divine light.
Emotions flooded her as well as the divine power she held within her was fully released. The moon glowed brightly an enveloped Selene in it's pure light. The feeling of divine power flooding Selene's sences was euphoric it didn't take Selene to notice the shadows changed into a beautiful woman with long silver white hair, Silver eyes, and a grey 3 tier handkerchief maxi dress and fairy like wings.
It took time for Selene to register who it was, "Asariel?" She asked confused when the vision changed between Asariel and Selene merging. Realization was starting to come to mind on what was going on. She recalled waking up after a similar dream once before, but this time it didn't feel like a dream. It felt all to real when she saw herself now seeing the dress she was in white strapless bodycon dress decorated with a gold trimming with crescent moon symbol in the center of her breasts, string of pearls under her bust, the skirt of the dress was high low middle split wrapped fingertip length short front and long ground length back.
Her feet had short white fringe heel shoes, her hair was not styled at all, and there was a pair of almost a ribbon like looking fairy wings on her back, they were completely different from Asariel's wings. The dress had off the shoulder straps, She couldn't take her eyes off her own reflection.
"Is... is that... really me? is this who I'm going to become?" She asked as she felt disappointed the dress she was making from her dreams wasn't what she thought the silhouette was. She looked at her glowing self as she was still in her normal clothes. More visions and voices surrounded her, visions of Lucifer and Asariel talking, then it was the final nail in the emotional coffin when Selene was witnessing the vision of the Rebellion Lucifer had started. Selene watched the vision of what happened up to Lucifer's fall, the feelings that flooded her very core was a painful feeling worse then heart break, as she watched Michael give Lucifer the final blow sending him out of Heaven, made tears stream down her face.
She felt sick to her stomach to see such a thing happen, It was so hard for her to bear such pain of being shown the worst moment in celestial history making her fear the idea of history repeating it's self, then she watched God cast his wife the Goddess out and into hell. Selene didn't understand why she was seeing such painful images, the last vision to be shown was Asariel's death by Michaels hand. If Selene could she would thrown up on the spot as knowing the truth sent her world spinning an made her dizzy.
Sudeenly Selene herd a familiar voice calling out to her, "Selene." She perked up hearing the sounds of a baby fussing, "My little moonlight." Selene spun around with wide eyes at a vision of her and her mother holding her as baby. "Some day my little moonlight you'll accomplish great things in your life, and have many lessons to learn, And I know You will shine bright like the moon, maybe even brighter." Katerina's said looking at the moon, Selene saw her baby self looking up at the moon and the eyes were silver to begin with.
the realization struck her when she realized she was born with silver eyes to begin with, "Mother..." She began to sniffle and tears welled up. "Selene, It's all on you if you wish to stay here and work with horses, but I fully believe happiness is out there in the world, and you will know when you find it." Selene looked at the vision of her and her mom together. her mothers words of the past weighed on her wondering if she did find happiness.
The floor stopped glowing but Selene didn't stop glowing, She began to question herself, She knew she found happiness being in LA, new start, new friends, new life, It all felt great to her she nodded, then frowned as she had a problem. She has no clue if Lucifer would ever return her feeling of love for him, or if he really was going to. Selene's eyes glowed along with the vision of herself, like a butterfly emerging from a cocoon her very own wings unfurled behind her glowing like the moonlight, and the crescent moon appeared on her forehead, she felt complete.
large dark clouds appeared and swirled around her like a raging storm above her head, it was like a growing dome of darkness that spread outward swallowing everything up in the cloud like a giant fog before vanishing.
Selene then stopped glowing as the light orb came back before her and glowed brightly blinding in the process.
(End of Selene's dream)
Meanwhile Lucifer Chloe and Ella were waiting to hear answers that Klumpsky was keeping by having Maze interrogate him, then they continued the search as Lucifer was putting his detective skills to work, he was determined to find her whatever it takes with Maze's help. When they got another lead Lucifer and Maze went to check it out, at the same time Lucifer ended up getting his mojo back when he drew out the security guards desire.
They made a deal and when they looked though the image it made his eyes go wide when he realize who he was looking at. Lucifer ran out of the room in a hurry to find Ella, with Maze not too far behind. Guilt hit Lucifer having to break the news that Ella's new boyfriend happens to be the killer.
When they got back to the precinct they learned Ella caught the killer, so Lucifer was listening in on Ella doing the interrogating. But as it turns out to be disappointing answers to know Pete hasn't kidnaped Selene only made Lucifer's blood boil. "This human stain is telling the truth. He has no idea where she is. I've wasted all this time looking for the wrong bloody person!" He angerly punched a hole in the wall, panting in anger, "This is all my fault! I don't understand." He turned to Maze clearly about to loose it, "Where is she? Who else could want to hurt Selene?"
Maze looked at him choosing her words carefully, "What if this isn't about her? Lucifer, what if it's about hurting you?" Lucifer took a moment to think about it then he realized who might have her, he needed to find Dan.
Meanwhile Selene was starting to stir when the outline of her wings on her back vanished, and the glowing stopped. She pushed herself up weakly as her head spun and pounded from the rumble she had earlier. She looked around her surroundings once she was able to focus, "Where am I?" she whispered under her breath, she had no idea who attacked her, or why. She knew the first thing she had to do was figure out where she was while wondering if anyone knows she's missing.
She stumbled getting to her feet but use the window bar's for support, she tried to make out anything she could see, but nothing looked familiar to her. Selene examined her prison as the walls looked real and fake, she had a feeling with the condition of the place it was abandoned. Suddenly she herd footsteps approaching making her self quickly look like she had just woke up. She glanced at the approaching shadow of her would be kidnapper she was going to find out.
To add to her acting she let out a painful groan as she tried to get her limbs to move to fully sit up, out of the corner of her eye she saw who it was when he came into view.

Michael! he kidnaped me! Ughhhh what the hell dose he want now! I don't want to even be near him right now after everything that angelic bastard has done to me!

Michael was staring her down with a slight smug grin, "Hello, Selene." She froze at the sound of his voice for a split second before she turned her attention to him with a bitter glare. She stood up to her feet slowly before going over to the cell door, but standing 2 feet back. Michael pulled something from behind his back, "One cookies and cream frozen coffee with whipped cream and crushed cookie topping." Selene was weirded out that he would bring her something after putting up a fight with him.
"It's your favorite, come on. Come on." he tried to throw out his persuading charm, Selene felt nauseous looking at Lucifer's twin brother, same face minus the scar, same devious smile, she hesitated on taking the treat he slipped between the bar for her to take. She glared at him and cautiously took it, "What am I doing here, Michael. What do you want?" her tone sharp to the point. He fixed himself up clearly not phased by her glare, "Don't worry. this is just temporary. It's all part of a bigger plan."
Selene glared at him, "Bigger plan? What, so I can be pissed with you more then I already am with you?" she said with a bitter tone, he grinned, "No. But... spoiler alert! It is gonna be epic. just you wait. Till then I uh," Selene stepped back when he folded his hands he slipped between the bars, she didn't trust him whatsoever. "I figured we should catch up. I mean a lot has happened since we saw each other last." Selene scoffed, "Well, I was looking forward NOT running into you ever again. Why should I even talk to you? I find you very revolting after what you have done."
She wrinkled her nose at him, "You took advantage of my heartbreak two months later after I realized Lucifer was never coming back. That was a really low thing to do." Michael let out a sigh, "You're right, I did go too far, but I didn't lie to you when I said I have all the answers you seek, but first... let's talk about my brother." Selene gestured him to come out and say what he want's to say while sipping on her drink.
"I'm sure you would like to understand the changes that my brother's been going though. Although, deep down, I think you have a idea of what might be happening, don't you?" Michael asked Selene, who was glaring at him, "Oh, really? Your really going to bring this subject up, ugh get a life Michael, why do you care? What ever you may say about Lucifer it's pointless, I'm not afraid of my relationship with him." She deadpanned.
Michael smirked, "Now, you see, that's just it, Selene." Selene shuddered and cringed at the sound of her name coming out of his mouth. "Just like Lucifer can't create desires, I can't create fears. I just... expose what's already there, and, girl, you reek of fear." he chuckled Selene squinted her eyes alittle at him, "You have no idea what you are talking about." he stared her down folding his hands between the cell bars.
"So, what, you're not afraid of what his newfound invulnerability means? Cause you do know that we self actualize, right?" her stomach began to knot up listing to his voice, "Which means him choosing to be vulnerable around you meant something, so I'm just, you know, putting it out there, but I wonder what this new development could mean." her eyes changed silver an her demeanor was calm.
"I've herd enough!" She spoke firm and serious knowing she stood up to Michael once she would do it again. "Lucifer and I are doing just fine, I know we can make everything work between us." Michael didn't feel threatened at all getting Selene worked up like he did. This time the divine energy was stronger, much stronger. "Huh. Yeah, you're probably right. I mean, we all know Lucifer doesn't lie. So, when he tells you he loves you, you know he really means it, right?" Michael asked her.

How dare he try to manipulate me again! No! I'm not falling for this bullshit again.
Screw being rescued I'm going to beat this bastard to a pulp first chance I get.

Selene was dead silent on Michael reminding her Lucifer never did return her feelings, in turn enraged her more. Michael caught the inkling of something by her change of expression. "Unless... Oh, no. No, no, no. He hasn't said it yet has he?" He made the dramatic pity groan sound that made Selene's blood boil as her eyes never did go back to normal," Well, I guess hearing what it would have sounded like would be better then not hearing it at all. Don't you agree?" Michael chuckled tauntingly enjoying the rise he was getting out of Samael's girlfriend, reminded him of how Samael use to be when he would treat him the same way.
"You look like you could use some time to yourself. I have a quick errand to run, but don't worry, Selene. I will be back before you know it. For the record at least you got to hear what would have sounded like." He grinned then walked away giggling, his comment hit a nerve. When Michael was gone, Selene harness all her energy into healing herself up with a dark cloud covering her body. She calmed down and breathed as the rush of power in her body made her feel weak that she fell to her knees and wondered if she's going to be found.
Meanwhile back at the LAPD precinct interrogation room, Lucifer was waiting on Maze to find Dan for him since he wasn't at work. Not long during his pacing Maze barges in with Dan in tow and threw him into the room, "Found him in a bar, wasted." Lucifer was careful speaking to Dan, knowing he is mind is already a mess no thanks to his brother, Michael. Dan saw Lucifer in front of him and he started to panic banging on the door," No! No, no, no!" Lucifer hurried to stop him from leaving, "Daniel! Daniel! Relax! Relax!" Dan ran away from him completely terified of Lucifer.
"Stay away from me, don't hurt me." he said as Lucifer scoffed, "Oh! Says the man who shot me. Listen, Daniel, I know we've had our differences, but right now we have much more important matters then us. Tell me... The night that you saw my face, why did you come back to the house?" He asked Dan calmly holding the chair. Dan looked at him confused, "Wha-? Because you called me. You asked me to." Dan said as lucifer sighed knowing it was true after all. "I didn't make that call, Daniel, but I think I know who did." Dan looked at him confused even more but a little calmer, "Who?" he asked.
"My twin. Michael." Dan frowned at the mention of him and Michael being twins, his poker face was gone at that point and Lucifer chuckled," Dreadful poker face. He's the one who told you to shoot me, isn't he?" He walked around the table to Dan and he moved away not wanting Lucifer getting close to him, "Look, I hate to break it to you, Daniel, but you have been played." Dan didn't want to believe that to be true nothing seemed to make sense to him anymore.
"But Michael's an angel, And your the devil, you're the Prince of Lies." Lucifer was trying to be merciful on Dan so he slammed his hand on the table, "Dan! Selene has been Kidnapped by Michael. I need to find her before he dose what ever he could be planning on doing!" This got Dan's attention, "What? Kidnapped? Is that what this is about?" Lucifer nodded to Dan's answer, "Why didn't you say so to begin with? Someone let me out of here so I can help!" he shouted running to the door to try and get out.
Lucifer grabbed a hold of Daniel then pinned his arms to the door, "What are you going to do? Tell them that some archangel took her? We are on the same side here. Only we can save her, and the only way you can help is by telling me where you saw Michael." he tried to not get too emotionally desperate, but time was running out on finding her. "You're hurting me." Lucifer released Dan and took a step back with his hands up.
"Okay... Okay... Michael...I was at the cementery ... visiting charlotte...and he came to me. But then he... He flew me someplace else. Uh, someplace private so we could talk." Dan said as Lucifer was listening to Dan tell him about how he met Michael, "It was some weird cave." Lucifer had hope that there maybe still a chance to find Selene now. "Private? Well, that might be where he's keeping Selene. Where's this cave?" Lucifer asked him.
Dan swallowed nervously, "Well, I-I-I don't know exactly." Lucifer gave him a odd look, "How could you not know? Did he blindfold you?" Lucifer questioned him as Dan was feeling extremely nervous around Lucifer now knowing his record of a temper, plus the fact he is the devil in the flesh. The fear of being tortured was fuel to his nervousness, "Well, I kind... I-I kind of... maybe passed out on the flight there... and back." Dan embarrassedly confessed.
Lucifer let out a heavy sigh "You have got to be kidding me!" his temper went off as he started pacing again running his hand though his hair. "Come on, I'm afraid of heights. You know what roller coasters do to me. And believe me, flying... it's way worse." Lucifer continued to pace the room trying to stay calm, "Is there anything of value that you can tell me, or are you just completely useless?" he was resisting the urge to strangle Dan but Selene's safety was much more important.
"Look, the cave, it was strange, all right? It was... It was... parts of it, looked fake. There were... there were bars on it, and it seemed like nobody had been there in a really... really long time." Lucifer was trying to figure out the details of where Dan was being kept, he whipped out his phone and began doing a search on abandoned places in LA with Dan's description. Once he figured it out they made their way out to go find her with Maze.
Meanwhile, Selene had fashioned herself a weapon with her power and a metal bar she had worked on breaking free for a while to keep herself busy. Selene hid in the corner by the door ready to attack Michael when he returns. It wasn't long when she herd a noise, her guard was up and she was ready, as foot steps approached. Then her cell door opened and Selene saw 'Michael' and zapped him good with one hand, hearing him cry out in pain, then repeatedly beats him like a piñata before dropping it and making a run out of the cell she was in.
Maze and Dan were making their way around to catch up to Lucifer and nearly crashed into Selene. Selene gasped when she saw Dan and Maze, "Dan? Maze? What are you two doing here?" She was panting heavily started and then she herd a groan, "You have one hell of a swing there, Darling." Selene's Eyes widened on shock to hearing Lucifer, and the realization she just beaten him up like a piñata. "Are all abandoned Zoo's this dangerous?" he joked.
Selene felt really bad about what she did, "Lucifer... I'm so, so, so sorry I hurt you. I- I didn't mean to... I..." She choaked up and wrapped her arms around him and kissed him. they both kissed for a while before they broke it off with a tight hug. "Oh, It's ok. You can beat on me anytime." He sighed so relived to have her back he held her like he didn't want to let go. Dan was watching the two in disbelief, how happy Selene makes Lucifer, and how much Lucifer, the Devil himself was happy with her. "He really dose care about her, doesn't he?" Maze was growing ever so pissed with Lucifer, but now Michael had gone too far this time, "Yeah. Freaking soulmates." Maze hated Lucifer more then ever for the secret he had been keeping from her Michael told him, but first she had to get revenge for Selene. Dan and Lucifer took Selene back to the station, Maze hung back with her blades out and ready to deal with Michael on her own.
It didn't take Michael long to return after visiting his brother and nephew at the doctors office. "Honey, I'm home!" Michael said strolling back to where he was keeping Selene, hoping to talk to her more, but was instead greeted with a open cell, and Maze was there. "Surprised to see me?" Maze said blade ready, Michael chuckled at her, "No, actually, Mazikeen, you are exactly the demon I wanted to see. in fact.. you're a little earlier then I expected." Maze slowly walked towards him ready to slice, "I am so tired of your bullshit games, Michael. Tired of you messing with me and my friends. Kidnapping Selene...that was a step too far."
Maze walked up threatening held up her blade, "Now I'm going to have a little fun carving you up." She grinned with preditory instincts, Michael laughed her off, "Oh c'mon. That's a little exstream, don't you think? I mean, I was never going to hurt Selene." Maze glared daggers at him, "You don't believe me? Mazikeen, I am the only one who has been honest with you." Maze didn't say a word to him, "Who told you about the ring?" he asked pissing her off.
"All that did was show me how much my life sucks." She said sharply, holding the blade to his neck, Michael grinned, "Which is exactly why I wanted to talk to you." He moved her blade from his neck, "Listen, I can help you, because when I get what I want, so can you. And we are so close, Mazikeen, so, so close to my plan finally coming together." he grinned evilly.
Back at the police station Selene was thanking the LAPD for all the work they did and invited them to bar for a LAPD Discount on lessons and drinks at the bar. She turned her attention to Lucifer, who was watching her with a gentle smile on his face. there was a elevator ding and Amenadiel had stormed out with Linda and Charlie in tow, "Brother! Brother, we need to talk. something terrible has happened with Charlie." Lucifer looked at Amenadiel strangely, "What? he got worse?" Lucifer asked confused.
"No! No, he got better, but it's just... It's just a normal cold cold." Lucifer failed to see the reason his brother was acting like this, "Right, well, I don't see the problem." Linda spoke up, "That's what I've been saying." Amenadiel was trying to get Lucifer to see reason when he got cut off by Lucifer. "No, I'm sorry, brother, but I'm a little busy at the moment. Selene and I haven't had a chance to talk. Can this wait?" Lucifer asked as Linda stopped Amenadiel and pulled him away from Lucifer while pushing Charlie.
Lucifer sighed wondering what got his brother like this over Charlie. Selene walked up to Lucifer with a soften expression, "Hi." She greeted him as he did the same, "Hi. Um...uh... can we talk? Somewhere private?" Selene smiled and nodded, "Yeah. Sure." He lead her into a room where there's no chance of their conversation to be herd. Selene wondered what this was all about, so she break the ice, "I herd about Ella, I feel so terrible for her, I hope she's alright." Lucifer closed the door once she was in the room, "She's... uh...She's as well as could be expected. She's happy you're safe, as well, if it wasn't for her we would never have figured out you're exact location."
"I would never wish the kind of pain Ella's going though on anyone, she didn't deserve that kind of pain...I'll pop into her lab later and see if she like a girls night." Selene frowned some knowing Ella's happy perfect boyfriend world was shattered. "Selene... I... I'm incredibly sorry." Selene looked at Lucifer confused. "for what? you're brother kidnaping me? It wasn't your fault Luce. I didn't expect him to break into my home...I don't even want to see the mess I'm going to have to clean up... rebuild..." her blue eyes looking up at him.
"No, for taking so long to find you, and for getting you caught up in my family mess, for everything you had to endure with my psycho twin brother." She chuckled lightly, "Really? this is what your apology is about? Luce, Everyone has a dysfunctional family, I'm not a stranger to family drama, your's though... takes the cake being the first family ever created before us humans." Lucifer scoffs and Selene frowned, "I'm not gonna lie, being kidnapped was not on my bucket list, It wasn't really fun... besides going toe to toe with your brother in my Livingroom not knowing it was Michael...that was fun."
Lucifer looked at her endearingly, "I knew you were out there. Searching for me. What I'm worried about now is Michael, he... He said this was part of some bigger plan and... I don't what it is that he is up too...shouldn't we you know... maybe go hunt him down or something?" She asked him, "I don't think something like this coming from him should be taken lightly." Lucifer felt the same way but Selene was feeling like Lucifer was acting odd more then ever. "Well, I'll deal with him later. Right now I'm just... I'm just happy to have you back." He pulled her into a hug as she rested her head on his shoulder. Selene enjoyed this being held just like this by Lucifer made her heart rate jump. Lucifer let her go with a smile, "And I have good news. My mojo's back, isn't that great?" Selene smile faded some, "Really?" She aske him and he nodded, "Well, that's... that's great to hear." she didn't sound so enthusiastic about it.
Lucifer looked at her with concern when her eyes looked away from him, "What's wrong?" She looked back at him, "Nothing. Nothing is wrong. uh... I'm just trying to make sense of what has been going on with you.. I give credit, this is one hell of a confusing mystery." Selene said then a thought came to mind, "You don't think I could possibly still...? Do it too?" Lucifer charmingly grinned at her. "Well, No need to worry, Darling. I'll tell you everything I desire, mojo not included." Selene bluntly spoke, "That is if you even know what you want." Lucifer's grin faded as he was taken off guard by her statement, "Excuse me?" he asked as Selene took a dep breath as she wondered if she should just come out and say it, praying their moment wont be ruined by it. "Is there any chance... you're possibly, I donno... subconsciously pushing me away. You say you want this... us, but... do you?" Lucifer didn't understand what Selene was talking about, "Where is this coming from?" he asked.
"Well, if... if now you're.. invulnerable all the time, doesn't that mean, you..." She took a deep breath, "You're shutting me out, by not wanting to be vulnerable around me?" Lucifer was still confused and then spoke, "Oh, I see... Michael got into your head, didn't he? What did he say to you?" he had to know what his brother said to put this kind of thing into her head.
"You know he taps into peoples fears. It's not what Michael said... it's um... I've been kinda worried long before Michael..." Lucifer tilted his head at her confused, "worried? Of what?" Selene looked down and away from him, "That... you don't, don't feel the same..." She looked up at him with her eyes keeping her head down, "The same way I feel about you." She was feeling braver for speaking up to him.
"Lucifer...I know you can't lie. I get that.. we are a work in progress...and I been open with you before...you ended up leaving. " Lucifer was trying to understand what she was telling him, Selene was trying to not fall apart and keep herself together. "So tell me, is there... is there a reason why you haven't said it back?" Lucifer looked at her completely lost in what they were talking about. "Said what back?" Selene's eyes moved to the floor and then sighed.

I don't know how I could be so stupid and seriously put him on the spot like this... I should have kept my mouth shut... now look at what I did, I just told Lucifer I am doubting his feelings for me... not a lie... I never thought we would have dated as long as we have...
Now were more on a intimate level with each other again, I don't want to be the one who ruined us... or make him feel pressured and guilty.
This was a mistake I should known that with him being a former playboy... confessing to love is not simple, not even for him cause he's not human... he already looks so confused... Maybe because it's just only the two of us here...in this room he might have the courage to be open.

Lucifer then realized after some thinking "Oh... I..." Selene started to sniffle, feeling completely pathedic right now for what she had done, but rationally she needed to know. "Selene... It's... It's complicated." She nodded at his words, "Yeah... of course. I get it... your not the only guy that ever has trouble admitting feelings for the other person. I don't know why I bothered to ask..." she said sadly. Lucifer saw the guilt and pain in her eyes, "No, I-I-I mean... Selene, I do, of course I do." Selene nodded sniffling more blinking her tears away.
"No, Sel- Selene. I..." Selene looked up at him as he struggled with trying to say it, he mentally wished he was more prepared for this, "I lov-" He noticed something was off when she looked like a statue. He waved a hand in front of her face and it didn't phase her, "Selene?" She was completely still, Lucifer was beyond confused, he went to the room door to look around and find everyone was at a stand still, as if time was frozen.
"Amenadiel!" Lucifer realized it as he had to confront his brother about it, so he went searching and found his brother pacing. "Brother! Could you have chosen a worse moment to slow down time?" Lucifer said frustrated with his brother ruining a delicate important matter with Selene. "It hasn't slowed. It's stopped!" Amenadiel said clearly going though a angelic mental breakdown.
"Well, would you kindly unstop it then, please?" Lucifer said approaching his brother pointing to Charlie, "Lucy, look. Just... look." Lucifer looked down on Charlie seeing him frozen like Linda, "He's frozen. Charlie. Charlie's frozen." Lucifer clearly wasn't understanding his brother's panic, "Yes, as is everything and everyone else, including Selene." Amenadiel jumped in on that comment, "Exactly. everyone but us Celestials. Do you understand what this means?" Lucifer didn't know what to answer him.
"It means Michael is right. Charlie is... is mortal." Lucifer shook his head clearly the idea of his nephew being mortal gone over his head. "All this time I thought... and now I- He's just like every other ordinary human child. He'll just get sick again, and again, feel pain, grow old and suffer!" Lucifer sighed now understanding what this was about, "So you stopped time to prevent that from happening. Can't you deal with you're parental anxieties later? Right now I need you to hit the play button, because I have a relationship to fix!"
Amenadiel went on a rant, "I don't know how! I didn't do this. I didn't do anything to make this happen!" Lucifer didn't wanna waste time arguing with his brother, "Well not consciously, obviously, but this is clearly triggered by your fears, no thanks to Michael. So, Just stop being afraid." Suddenly the brothers herd a voice, "Easier said then done. Well done Amenadiel, I was hoping you would spiral out of control, but completely stop time? I didn't see that happening at all." he laughed.
"Well, well, If it isn't Mr. bigger plan himself. I figured you were behind this" Lucifer quipped as Michael shot back," Hello, brother. How are you and your little lovebird doing?" he taunted playfully, "Hmm? Still haven't realized you two can never work yet?" Lucifer's blood was boiling, but composed, " I get coming after me, but why bring Amenadiel and Charlie into this? What's your endgame here?" Lucifer growled lowly and Michael smirked, "Oh, Youll just have to wait and see. And I didn't do anything to Amenadiel. I mean, I can't help it if he's afraid of his son's snotty nose."
Lucifer caught on to his twin's intentions, "Amenadiel, Michael's probably responsable for Charlie's illness." Amenadiel glared at Michael as he was quick to jump, "Come on, I would never." Lucifer called him out knowing his brother all too well, "He's lying." Amenadiel didn't know what to beleive as his younger twin brothers argued over Charlie's time frozen state, untill he had enough.
Amenadiel, without warning gripped up Michael in anger, "Why? Why are you doing this?" Michael showed little fear to his big brother, "Oh, again with the blame game. It's not my fault you impregnated one of these filthy little humans." Amenadiel gave him a right hook to the face hard, Michael laughed at he was let go, "I mean, Look at her. So helpless. Just like your son." Amenadiel swings at Michael again only to be caught by Maze mid swing.
Lucifer took the time to step in as Amenadiel was wondering why Maze had stopped him, "Maze. Why are you defending him?" Lucifer questioned her not understanding why, "Because he promised me a soul." Lucifer laughed at her response, "That's impossible." Maze held her ground protecting Michael. "Why? Because I'm just a Demon?" Lucifer scoffed, "Exactly." Maze roared and attacked Lucifer sending him though the glass which shattered slowly due to the time freeze. "Get up." Maze said swinging her blade's ready to fight.
She stepped though the glass to move the floating frozen shards away, "We're not done." Lucifer wasn't expecting to be betrayed by Maze again, he was starting to loose his trust with her this time. "Why would you ever trust Michael? He's a liar!" Maze grunted and attacked Lucifer again as he dodged every swing, "He's only ever been honest with me." Lucifer dodged more from Maze not quite understanding what has her so pissed off. "You... You hid my mother from me." Lucifer had no idea that she even knew.
"How did you-" Maze sliced some more at him with her blade as Lucifer smoothly dodged every swing, then blocked and got a hold of her. "I'm sorry, Maze, but I gave Lilith my word." He said restraining her as she got more upset, "Which is apparently more important to you then I am!" Lucifer looked at her confused before she broke free and continued to fight Lucifer. Michael and Amenadiel were fighting fist to cuffs, matching blow for blow. "I can't believe you'd use my son as a pawn!" They continued to fight Amenadiel having the upper hand against Michael, "I can't believe how easy it was triggering you! I mean, way easier then turning Lucifer's friends against him." Michael laughed bragging about what he had done
Meanwhile in the room Lucifer left Selene's time frozen state, Her body started to glow and a crescent symbol appeared on her forehead as it flashed and glowed like it was some sort of beacon. The fighting continued as Amenadiel was taking care of Michael, Lucifer was dealing with Maze having throw her knives at him only to be caught in mid air. In alot of ways Lucifer didn't want to be so rough with Maze, with Selene pushed back of his mind all he cared about was putting a end to Michael's games once and for all.
Once Lucifer had Maze down after a good hit to the chest he went to help Amenadiel with Michael, when he caught Michael's swing at Amenadiel. Then, Amenadiel punched Michael so hard off his feet into the precinct steps. Michael got up clearly not done and now it was just the 3 of them left, the sibling brawl commenced as they blocked each others blow with Lucifer and Amenadiel with a 2 on 1 handicap battle wondering who will come out on top, then quickly turned into 2 on 2 when Maze stepped in.
In side the room Selene was glowing at a steady pace head to toe in divine light, Michael had Maze toss him a knife, to which he used to throw at a frozen human, and Lucifer caught it in time. Lucifer was fed up with everything, all he wanted was to finally have some alone time to talk to Selene and fix what mess Michael caused. First he ha to deal with Michael, he hated having to put Selene last as much as his relationship was important to him, so was dealing with his nefarious twin brother, now Maze as well. He still wanted to know how she found out about Lilith, having a clue Michael had something to do with it, it was time for him to end this.
Amenadiel was fighting off both Michael and Maze's assaults', until Lucifer stepped in to deal with Maze till she was no longer able to fight. Lucifer went after Michael as they kept each other at arms length strangling each other, until Michael broke free unfurling his wings, the brother's did the same and let their wings out. Selene's body soon stopped glowing when a booming voice rang though the precinct.
"THAT'S ENOUGH!"
A bright glow appeared at the stop of the precinct steps, and the brother's look towards the bright glow in shock. Neither one of them expected for Him to appear so suddenly. Lucifer couldn't believe his eyes as he had no idea how to feel in this moment staring at God, "Dad" Lucifer whispered breathless in shock, God looked at his children without expression.
"Children. You know I hate it when you fight."
