In Lux everyone was waiting to see Lucifer and Selene together, by everyone it was everyone that was involved with the war. Although, only just a handful of siblings Gabriel, Zadkiel, Josphiel, and Saraqael shown up with Amenadiel, to at least give their brother a chance since they all found out the truth of what Michael did in the past. They were all aware of what was going to be happening at this party and Gabriel couldn't resist this kind of gossip to spread around Heaven.
Dr Linda was there to be supportive after what Amenadiel had told her, she didn't want to miss this moment with her patient making a big move. Selene's cousins and close friends even showed up since they know the truth and were apart of this special moment. Lucifer had sent them all a text that he was feeling ready to make the big move, so they came prepared just for Lucifer. They were all mingling as Travis was behind the bar pouring drinks for Dawn to walk around like a waitress, passing everyone their drinks while balancing two trays full of drinks.
Amelia was with Maze at the bar having a deep conversation since they came in. It wasn't long till they herd the elevator open and Selene and lucifer were holding hands, grins were on a lot of faces. "Hi guys." Selene smile and it wasn't long till the girls swarmed and took Selene away from Lucifer. "Girl, you were so awesome today, you really went all out against Michael." Aly was near squeal," So, Sel, any chance we get get a up close peek at those wings of yours."
"Guys, I would love to show off my wings to you but I don't know how you will react to their divinity.." They all practically had on their begging puppy faces. Selene rolled her eyes, "I guess... " Selene got some distance and all eye's were on Selene when she let her wings come out. They were a pair of beautiful white almost see though iridescent wings, everyone looked in awe in how they glowed and glistened in Lux's lighting. "Wow. they are some gorgeous wings you have. Shame you're retiring from the spotlight, cause they would be a great addition to show off in a performance." Elise said and Dawn chimed in," there beautiful and they suite you I don't think I can see you with any wings better then these."
Selene was feeling slightly embarrassed, "I'm still getting use to having them, I'm kind of still star struck over my wings yet myself." She put them away and saw Lucifer mingling with his siblings. The sight of seeing at least this many of Lucifer's siblings show up was a good sign, not because Lucifer is the new God, but they are willing to rebuild their relationship ever since they took Michael away to be sentenced later. "Girl you should be star struck, you're gonna be the Goddess of the universe along side Lucifer, ruling heaven together."
Selene was keeping a straight face while she had realized she has yet to process the fact because she wasn't sure if Lucifer would obtain the title of God, she did make peace with the idea of being Queen of Hell long before Michael's mess. This new title of hers was going to be a long process, as well as how it's gonna change both their lives. The girls were grinning ear to ear at what was instore for Selene at this little gathering. "You're right. I should be, and I am This is gonna take time to process, and him and I need to figure out where to go from here in our new roles. Of course, he and I will cross that bridge when it's time, for now we need to focus n 'us time' we have a lot of time to make up for when he was in Hell." She said looking at them.
"I don't want to rush having to move to Heaven right away, I mean I don't even know how to move between planes yet I still got things to learn, we need to focus on each other before we take on our new roles. Lucifer's going to need to get use to his new powers as well. We have alot to think about this choice to move off to heaven isn't going to be easy choice to make. I know I'm not ready to have to ship my horses back home to Dad, I still have yet to break this news to them yet." The girls thought about it and nodded in agreement, "And besides, Lucifer finally said I love you to me, you have no idea how long I've been wanting to hear those words from him that gave me the strength to be able to beat Michael."
Dawn smiled once everyone had a drink, "Well, we always known you were a kick ass cowgirl, but now your a ass-kicking celestial on top." Selene laughed, "Oh guys...I love you all so much, I do have faith now, that we will all be together in Heaven... well maybe not Amelia and Maze...but If anything I've learned is death isn't something to fear, cause the other side it's not so different from home. Our family's ranch house is up there, mom and Jack all our horses we've owned over the years..." Selene took a drink, "It's just like being at home, but with the people taken from us too soon, I even seen Tori I'm glad she made it there and not in Hell."
They were processing at the idea and it made them all smile. to think of Heaven looking and feeling like home they all had the same look on their face. Amelia was at the bar with Maze having a deep conversation, but Maze was doing the talking as Amelia was listening until she put her hand n Maze, "Maze, I am happy you finally opened up to me, I do feel the same. Yes, I was put off learning you are actually a demon from the depths of Hell, but I always thought you were cool, in a scary badass kind of way, but still cool." She smiled at Maze.
"I'm even happier we are on the same page, sure I didn't take it well knowing the truth but I didn't want to let the truth stop me from wanting to get to know you more, I've pushed the truth aside because I have fallen for you." she motioned all of her with her free hand, "Now we have no secrets between us and nothing holding us back, why don't we make our budding relationship into a official one." Maze looked at her with surprise that she wanted the same thing, "Yes. I wanna be with you until the years show on your beautiful face I will forever be yours." Maze leaned in and they both made out with each other.
Lucifer caught a glance at Maze making out with AJ, Amenadiel too has seen Maze finally find her connection on earth after all theses ears of knowing how much she had been struggling, "Look at that my dear brother's and sisters, even a Demon can find love here on earth as well, Humanity isn't so bad once you give them a actual chance and let them in your hearts. Dad's creations are far more amazing then they are credited for since Father made them.
"Lucifer, Are you sure you really want to take on this big leap proposing to Selene so soon?" Amenadiel asked slightly concerned for his brother, "Brother, when she died, I realized I wasn't just being a coward over preventing the things Michael has done. I was being a coward with telling her the words she's told me... I couldn't tell her that I loved her back. Even if it meant destroying myself to tell her just how much she meant to me, I couldn't live with myself not having her hear it from me personally."
"You really have changed." Saraqael said as now her eyes were opening, the rumors of their brother being in love were true, and she was hearing it herself. "I support this. Not because you're the new God, but because you're our brother and we should have tried to reach out. Now that we all know everything was Michael's fault, we can take the time and reconnect with you. Not because we have too, speaking for alot of us, we need to. Being around this family you adore so much, I can't help but be envious of their relationship on being a family, and I want what they have for all of us."
Zadkiel couldn't help but agree, "They do have a strong bond, and for them to have the gulls to be apart of your army and support you just shows how wrong we have been. It feels good to have our eyes finally open. I think I might just take the leap and form a connection." Zadkiel made his way over to Aly and the two start conversing after they let Selene have some breathing room. Gabriel gave her brother Lucifer a look, "Well, I think we should get this party started before theses humans end up too drunk to see you do this."
Lucifer was thinking about it and he downed his drink, "Right. Let's get this celebration off to a positive start shall we." Lucifer made his way to snag dawn for a moment t whisper that it was time, Dawn got the hint and she snuck away giving off signals to the guys on her way to start the music, so Justin decided to be the DJ to do it. Lucifer made his way to pick up the Microphone from the booth and the lights change to fit the mood. Selene was confused when the bright lit club was now dark, "What's going on?" She was puzzled until she turned around to see the spotlight on Lucifer.
The girls were trying to act confused but they were smirking behind Selene's back, "My dearest Selene. From the day we met, you were the most lovely, in personality and mind, a fearless, strong-willed, independent, entertaining person I've ever met." Selene was a little confused on what was happening and wondering what has gotten into Lucifer. "You have done alot more for me then I had ever realized. You showed me what it's like to be apart of a real family, one filled with love, something I've always wanted. I learned love comes in many forms, you always take the time to share and show your love, even when I couldn't do it."
Selene was still feeling oblivious to what was going on she looked around to see if there was hint of something she didn't know about. "I know it took me so long to realize just how much your happiness means to me, your fearlessness when you've seen my devil face, I was worried I would have scared you off, but you stuck by me and continued to share your love even after. I wish I had done more to protect you from being pulled into my family's drama, but in spite of that I don't think I would have been able to win the war against Michael without you."
Selene was feeling her heart beat when Lucifer gave the signal to start the music. Selene soon realized what song it was as Lucifer was about to sing, everyone was holding a straight face when Lucifer started to sing.

Another spotlight was put on Selene after the girls pushed her out to the middle of Lux's dance floor, and Lucifer walked up to her, she was processing what was happening when she felt her heart race faster.

Lucifer got down on one knee and held up the ring and stopped singing, "Marry me?". Selene's eyes went wide and her hands covered her mouth and nose, she couldn't believe Lucifer was going to pull this stunt, She looked as she was about to cry staring at the beautiful ring he was proposing her with. A 5 carat Marseille Halo Emerald cut ring with a 4 prong floating setting surrounded by floral diamond halo with half covered diamond 18 carat white gold band.
everyone was waiting to hear the answer, "I think he just made her speechless." Rosie said as Selene stared at the ring, "Oh, Lucifer..." she tried to hold back the tears that formed in her blue eyes, "Yes. Yes I will marry you." Lucifer slipped the ring on her finger with a smile, she held his face and kissed him happily, everyone cheered and rejoiced in the accepted proposal. Once Selene released Lucifer the lights came back n and the girls squealed in delight and nearly tackled Selene in a hug, "We're so happy for you Selene." Aly said as they gave her a hug, the guys brought fresh filled drinks for everyone to take.
"I declare a toast is needed for our happy engaged couple." Travis smiled as Wade was with him everyone held up their glass," So the soon to be happy married couple, and hopefully soon to be our God and Goddess." everyone else but the happy love struck couple said their wishes and downed their drinks. "I'm actually in no hurry to become God yet. I do wish to enjoy my time on earth a little longer, so we both have time to prepare for the coronation." Lucifer said as Selene was in awe over her engagement ring to even care.
"Well, don't take too long Earth can't be without a God for a long period of time." Amenadiel said to his brother as the rest of the siblings agreed with Amenadiel, "The coronation needs to happen as soon as possible." Selene broke out of her bliss to answer, "And it will. Just please let us enjoy our time together, things have been very chaotic for us. This is my second chance at life, I want to really have the time to live and enjoy things I haven't been able to enjoy because I've been living a busy life myself."
"Second chance? what on earth do you mean by that?" Travis asked as the girls kind of avoided eye contact as they were hiding something. Selene looked at her family and close friends. "During the war we had against Michael...I..I died. I was killed by Michael. Lucifer risked coming to heaven, despite his banishment, to bring me back to Earth. I thought I lost him forever after I watched him explode right in front me in Heaven. I guess there's a possibility that Heaven herd my plea to not let him die. I'm glad I wasn't the only one to return from heaven after all. " The girls cringed as they had watched Selene die once.
"On the upside you really let your anger out on Michael, It was long over due." Amelia said looking at Selene," So when should we have your swan song moment?" Selene hummed in thought, "I... I don't know, I mean, I have so much to prepare for, I know we pushed back the big show already." Wade walked over to them, "Well, You know how we have been thinking about the rebranding?" Selene blinked as the girls had a smile, "Yeah. We never actually settled on a new name for the bar." Selene said.
"Well, since you won't be with us anymore we actually thought about a perfect name." Travis said and Dawn nodded, "Seeing as you have the power of the moon at your side, we decided we are changing the name Coyote Lounge to the Moon Dream." Selene was thinking about it, "The Moon Dream... I love it! It's absolutely perfect! I can't think of a better rebrand name, I actually was considering that Idea before when we were remodeling, but that's a perfect name for the bar." She smiled at her friends.
"I think the name is a marvelous idea as well." Lucifer chimed in, "It's much more suited for the atmosphere plus you're celestial theme cocktails." Selene smiled at them, "Then it's approved, we can work on getting the name changed soon as possible." Selene said, "But I need to say this private party we are having is very lonely right now. Let's fully open up Lux and really party hard!" Lucifer pulled out his phone and already taken care of it," Consider it done, honey." He said working on letting his followers know that Lux is open for business tonight.
Gabriel couldn't wait to head back home to spread the news, "Well, You guys enjoy things here, I think it's time we all head back to the Silver City and return to our duties." Amenadiel gave their sister a look, "As you should all do, It was great having you guys here really, it's been a nice family reunion." Selene couldn't agree more, "I certainly enjoyed meeting all of you." Suddenly a wave of sadness washed over Selene.
Reality was starting to set in, the fact that she was going to be back and forth between Heaven and Earth soon enough. Part of her began to remember the fact that even if she were to die she wouldn't want to leave Earth, she looked down at her hand with her new engagement ring from Lucifer. In the moment of her reflection of how much she had changed over time, she wasn't sure if it was for the better, or what. She also remembered her desire to find a way to be free of her powers.
So much was floating in her head, she had so much to look forward too, figure out what she was going to do in her free time that she wasn't working with Lucifer. She had so much on her mind she didn't realize everyone of Lucifer's siblings besides Amenadiel had left. "Selene, darling, you're looking kind of spaced, why don't we sit down." Lucifer said as Selene snapped out of her thoughts, " Yeah. Right...I guess I just added anther thing to my list of 'take time to process later' list You really surprised me today. with that performance and the ring... I had no idea this was coming, you really caught me off guard."
"What if I told you, that's not the only thing that will surprise you. While I was down there, in Hell, I decided to take a nice size diamond and bring it to Earth, have a perfect ring made for the perfect woman." He smiled with pride, as Selene looked at her ring, "The diamonds came from Hell?". Lucifer nodded at her reaction, "Mm-hm. I honestly wasn't sure if I would ever come back to Earth to tell you how much I love you. I made sure I wouldn't comeback empty handed, and...well, you know the rest."
(Selene's POV thought's)
He did that...just for me. He brought back a diamond from Hell, just to have it made into this ring...
God, he's so thoughtful, and here I've been doubting things and he's been wanting to express himself properly. I feel so unworthy of this special angel I have truly fallen for without a doubt. I don't think I could find anyone better then him. I can't wait till we are married and can spend our lives together being God and Goddess of the universe, we will figure things out together.
(Selene's POV thoughts end)
"Lucifer Morningstar I love you so much. I know you feel I don't belong in Hell, but where ever our lives take us from here I'll be happy because I'm with you. Let's enjoy this perfect night together and later we can start working on how were going to spend our time together while ruling the universe." Lucifer smiled at her warmly with a loving gaze, "Yes, Let's worry about the small stuff and celebrate our victory and engagement with a little country night at Lux special." he grinned as if on cue some country music hit the radio.
Lucifer grabbed Selene's hand and pulled her out n the dance floor while waiting for patrons to arrive and party it up. They watched the two happy engaged love birds on the dance floor dancing like they were the only people in Lux in perfect harmony. Dawn had a big grin n her face as she was happy for her half celestial cousin, Aly walked over as they clinked glasses feeling happy to have help Lucifer pull things off, "I say this turned out to being a perfect night don'tcha think Aly?" Dawn said with a smile and Aly nodded
"Yes, but now we got two parties to plan, A double wedding and bachelorette party. Look at them Dawn, Amelia and Selene found happiness. I hope were the next ones to find our happiness and maybe raise a family." Dawn hummed at the idea of Family, "I wonder what Selene's and Lucifer's child will be like if they end up having a baby like Amenadiel and Linda." Aly made a face, "That would be some crazy combination, if they end up more like their father, or a perfect blend of their personality to the point you can't tell if they're like either one of them. I wouldn't push the issue on having kid's any time soon, they need their time to settle in to their new roles, and besides they have plenty of time to build a family. They really need this, they been away from each other for two months until Michaels mess."
Aly nodded, "You're right. This is their night, they made a great team and out whit Michael...Now I'm sad. I want such a great relationship that they have, and all all we manage to find are cheaters... although... seeing as Aiden is out of the picture, unfortunately, I must admit, their brother Zadkiel is quite attractive...for angel. I was hoping he would end up asking me to dance, but they all left." She pouted as dawn smiled, "Maybe you might just get your chance to, Lucifer still owes us for helping him. Even if he decided this day to be the day to do so without giving us much of a heads up."
"You're right, Lucifer still owes us all something for this favor. Let's cash in when we absolutely need to." Soon people were flooding in to party it up, although slightly confused on the choice of music, they saw the owner having fun dancing with Selene to a slow dance. Her cousins played bartender and waitress to help deal with customers. Since their bar was closed the guys didn't mind working in Lux. Later on that night The ladies gave the people of Lux a fun show with a preview of their upcoming rescheduled party.
Selene was enjoying herself as she gave Lux quite a show with her voice, when it came to line dancing Lucifer didn't hesitate to join her in the Fake ID line dance, earning cheers from those watching and most joined in due to limited spacing, shots and drinks were flowing down the bar everyone was starting to get into the country theme night. People talking about the party and the positive change in music genre, everyone was getting their drinking and grove on.
2am that night Lucifer and Selene retired to the penthouse to relax and spend some time together. "Tonight was a lot of fun, you really outdid yourself. You really caught me off guard with that number." Selene smiled as she pulled out her smokes and lit up, making her way out to the balcony. "I really wasn't expecting you to make such a big leap after you finally told me you love me." Lucifer dark brown eyes gazed at her, "I believe the humans have mentioned about knowing when the time is right to propose, I just figure after knowing you as long as I have here on earth, I've already lost you once... I don't want to miss another chance to want to spend time with you."
"Least you know you're not banished from Heaven anymore. But, after my experience dying I honestly don't want to die again, I didn't like the feeling and I didn't want to leave as much as I tried to fight it. Not to mention Heaven felt different when I was alive spending time with my mom, then spending time with her when I died. I don't know it just seemed strange I didn't think when I die that Heaven would feel different being dead or alive." She took a deep breath," Without you I would have forgotten everyone. It didn't even feel like I ever left mom at all.
"I suppose if I could take a trip to the Silver City, well, more so the moon, Asariel did split her soul apart into some precious things, I think I can recall her being immortal up until she no longer wore her necklace.." Selene looked at Lucifer alert," Necklace? What necklace?" Lucifer tried to think about it sorting though his memories, "Well, it would be a moonstone with a crescent moon wrapped around it. Why?" Selene had a shocked look on her face, "Your dad hid a present meant for me to find. I opened it quite curious on what things of Asariel's he could have possibly given me. One of them was just the exact necklace you described."
Lucifer had what was a surprised look on his face, "Dad did what?" he was trying to process that she had the necklace and a few other things of Asariel. "Well, since there's a party going on right down here, why don't I spent the night...or perhaps a week at your place and we rotate?" Selene thought about it, "Well I am going to have to spend time with my horses, but I think we can make it work, we both have a lot of time on our hands. You giving up being in the LAPD, and I'm no longer a bar entertainer and if were going to rotate weeks then we must go to Nashville on my next week for Mamaw's birthday."
Lucifer nearly forgot about that trip he checked his calendar on his phone, "Right. I have it marked down in my calendar. I was meaning to pick out the finest bottle of wine from the wine I own from the wine cellar. I'm mostly looking forward on seeing Tux again and enjoy some trail rides, just as much as I look forward to your family's dinner and perfect liquor." he then frowned a bit, "If we didn't have to have that battle with Michael I wouldn't have minded the idea of moving out of LA and move in your family's ranch. I enjoyed being there so much I actually wanted to have a full on experience, the nitty gritty work of it all."
"Really?" She looked at him astonished he would even consider ranch life. "Yes, I actually want a change in pace I've been with the LAPD for several years now, I'm ready to try something new, but I guess since I'm going to be God, that plan's out the window." Selene took his hand, "For now. Don't worry we will figure things out. We got enough on our plate the way it is with getting you prepared for your coronation, and making arrangements, I need to figure out things like how I'm gonna fly to heaven and back."
Lucifer nodded seeing as she had no way of getting back to earth when she was dead, "We'll work on that. First things first, I should pack a few things if I intend on spending a week at your house." He said leaving her alone to pick out something to wear for the week. Selene smiled and looked up at the night sky. She couldn't wait to visit her mom again, to spend time, learn the things she never got to teach her that she could pass on. of course, seeing as she now learned she's not invulnerable, or Immortal, she didn't know how long her lifespan was going to be, and she isn't willing to take too much advantage of her reborn life, she was going to appreciate her second chance with Lucifer to the fullest extent or until her mortal body give's out.
Once Lucifer was packed and had everything he needed they left the penthouse together, to spend the rest of the time at Selene's house.
