he next morning Selene was at her house doing her morning chores with Nilla Hershey and Winter. After a great night of wild passionate sex, some would say they're worse than bunnies without the result of multiplying. Selene felt her phone buzz, when she looked it was a message from Maze, she was going to be at her house in 2 minutes. Selene could only wonder why maze was coming over. She could only think of one reason.
Before Selene knew it Maze was outside the stable, "Hey." she said leaning in the sable doorway. Selene put her phone away and walked out of Nilla's stall, "Hey, Maze. How's the wedding planning going?" Maze rolled her eyes, "Boring, AJ is covering it, I'm not all for wedding planning, I mean, sure my sisters had a bit of fun torturing a bride in a hell loop." she chuckled at the fond memory biting her lip," The bride was a lot of fun as well."
Selene rolled her eyes knowing Maze and her horny time with damned souls, "So, I take it you needed to get away for a while?" Maze nodded before Selene spoke again, "Maybe I can help AJ out might as well make this a double wedding. Thinking about it, it would be best if Lucifer and I got married asap, whenever he makes up his mind if he's going to be God. We can be in Heaven as a married couple. Not like we will be able to make time to do so if he was actually ready."
"So, what is he waiting for?" Maze asked as Selene shrugged, "I don't know think he's just realized he jumped the gun after figuring out Michael was manipulating God into retirement and hopefully get the throne. I wouldn't let that tyrant ass have the throne. I haven't told Lucifer yet, but if he doesn't make up his mind. I'll take the throne."
Maze snickered, "You? sit on God's throne? That's funny." Selene huffed, "Of course I would do it. I may be half celestial, because my soul once belonged to a goddess. I mean, honestly, I don't know what I'm supposed to do anymore. I enjoyed the fight against Michael... I'm sure a peace keeper isn't all that I am. If common law marriage was still a thing, we would half way to be seen as husband and wife without marriage."
"Humans and your strange customs and traditions." Maze shook her head, "I'm more than happy to jump into getting married, I don't want anything to mess with that now that Lucifer and I can and will enjoy our life together. Nothings is gonna hold us back. It took forever for Lucifer to say he loves me, I'm not gonna sit and wait to get married, and something bad happen that will ruin everything." she said getting back to work cleaning.
"Point taken, I wouldn't want to wait either, now that I found my own happiness, I don't want to lose it either." an idea clicked in Selene's head, "Hey, Maze? How about if you don't mind chilling with me for a while... when I'm done here maybe we can spar, ya know like we use to. We should spar more often when you're not bounty hunting. I got nothing better to do after my chores, and Lucifer's at his appointment with Linda."
Maze took a moment to think about it, "I'm in no rush to go anywhere. I don't see why we can't." Selene looked out of the stall she was cleaning, "Cool." Selene finished up to have a spar day with Maze.
A few hours later Selene had arrived back to the penthouse, when the elevator doors opened up, she saw Lucifer debating on his clothes, "Hey, Luce. I'm ho- are you going somewhere?" she asked as Lucifer noticed his white shirt unbuttoned, she knew he never changes clothes suddenly, unless something happened to his suite. "I am indeed. What do you think is better? The iconic white or pomegranate for more of an 'original sin' vibe?"
Selene looked a bit confuses, "The white? What's going on?" Lucifer couldn't help but agree, "That's what I was thinking. An occasion like this requires a classic look." Selene was still lost what he was talking about. "Occasion? Am I missing something?" she was starting to mentally panic that she forgot something, but couldn't recall anything special for today. "Well, I went to see the doctor again, and realized if I'm going to be God, then I need to help someone I hate." Lucifer said in a good mood still, "So, I am gonna help Jimmy Barnes, of all people."
Selene wasn't following with his logic, "That sleaze of a music producer? I almost signed a record deal with him when I was touring. Anyway, isn't he still in that mental institute?" Lucifer frowned, "he was, it's my fault, but he had it coming." she wasn't surprised about it, "My guess is he's been sitting in hell for the last year. I had no idea he was already there when I went back to hell to rule over. I would have paid him a visit if I knew he was there while I regained order over the demons. So, I'm gonna pop down to hell for a visit."
Selene smiled putting down her bag, "Okay. When do we leave?" she smiled as Lucifer tried to not laugh when he finished getting ready, "What? I can't believe I'm saying this, I want to go to hell." Selene said with a straight face. Lucifer walked over to the bar and grabbed a bottle to pour in his glass. "No, no, that is a terrible idea." he said as Selene gave him a look. "I get you can't ever see me being in hell, if I ever have friends end up down there I want to see them. Dan's down there, besides the demons, but there not a problem I can take them." she argued confidently as Lucifer sighed, "It's incredibly dangerous. You don't belong there." Selene pouted a little, "I've seen Heaven, I want to take this opportunity to see Hell. I want to help you no matter the road we have to go to help you be ready to be God."
Lucifer downed his drink and sighed," Alright, let's go, no time like the present." he sat his glass down, grabbed her hand taking her to the balcony. He let out his wings and Selene did the same, took her hand and they flew to Hell together.
Meanwhile, Nixie brought Dan to Earth just like she promised to do. Dan couldn't believe he was on Earth again in Lucifer's penthouse, "I'm back. I'm back." he was happy to be out of his special hell loop he looked around in the penthouse. "Well, I got you out of Hell, just so you know this is my first time doing so. I've never done this before." She fekt quite proud and yet at the same time forgotten something. "Lucifer! There's a possible deadly angel here looking to kill you!"
Nixie folded her arms and glared at Dan, "What are you doing?" she asked "I hope you don't think I'm gonna let you hurt Lucifer, I've learned my lesson. I won't really help you, but I will stop you." Nixie chuckled, "And how do you expect to do that?" Dan tried to tackle her but instead went right though her hitting the floor. Dan was confused what had happened, he got up to try again much to Nixie's amusement. Then she remembered the most important thing she forgot, she didn't have a body ready to put him in.
"How are you doing this?" Dan asked confused as she giggled, "I'm not." Dan tried to grab a weapon and found out he couldn't," I don't understand, you carried me up here." she chuckled amused how panic and freaked out he was, "Yeah. From Hell. Right now we are in the land of the living. I hate to break it to ya sugar, but you're not technically alive." Dan was in disbelief, "I mentioned the fact this was my first time, I forgot about having a recent dead body set. My bad."
Nixie wasn't comfortable being in the penthouse, she rather go somewhere else and figure out just how far she had gone back in time like she has a sense of feeling that is what happened to her. "I guess this Lucifer guy isn't home. But it's fine, I'm just out to hopefully find who I been looking for." Dan looked at her with some sympathy, "Who are you looking for?" he asked as she looked a bit depressed. "I wanna know who my dad is. I want to find him, he vanished from my mom before I was born... I need answers."
Dan was starting to feel sorry for her "That's rough. I'm really sorry to hear that. I hope you get the answers you seek, Nixie" her brown eyes looked sad, "Me too."
Meanwhile down in hell, Selene was looking around in awe when she walked though the door. Ash was falling like light snowfall, and the rumbling sounds of thunder could be herd. She couldn't believe this is what hell looks like she flew up just to see it all. Her wings fluttered keeping her up in the air.

So, this is Hell... It's so...depressing, really the opposite of heaven, and not what i was expecting. It's hot sure...but it feels so- Huh?

Selene notice a pillar taller then the rest. She landed back down to Lucifer, who was starting to look for Jimmy's hell loop. She followed him and noticed the rock like pillars around them had doors. "so... are these hell loops?" she could feel and hear the tortured souls it was breaking her heart. "Yes. c'mon it's best to stay on task." Lucifer said when he saw her stop. "Lucifer. What's that there?" she asked as Lucifer looked in the direction she was pointing.
"That is my throne." He said as there was a rumbling sound, Selene wasn't scared of where she was but the look of the place was creepy with the chains and seeing the outside of the souls prison. "your throne?" she looked surprise then looked at him, "So that's where you spend most of the time when you're not visiting souls. I'm beginning to understand how lonely it must have been, being down here all alone."
Lucifer spoke sadly, "It was." He began to look around in confusion. Selene had a concerned look, "What's wrong?" he made a odd face like something wasn't right, "I can't seem to find Jimmy's hell loop, I'm sure its around here." he assured trying to figure out the location. "Do they move? Ya know to accommodate new souls?"
Lucifer didn't think that was the case but something started to bother him. "No. there not meant to... somethings off." he said serious as he began searching, Selene got distracted and walked down the path she turned to walk feeling drawn to something or a soul. She stared curiously at a door she stopped at and was reaching for the door when Lucifer startled her. "I wouldn't do that if I were you. You don't need to get trapped in someone else's hell loop. I've been there it's not so easy to get out once trapped."
Selene sighed knowing to take his word for it, seeing as she was in his domain... his kingdom he ruled over millennia, she followed his lead though the hallway and turns looking for the right hell loop. " Please tell me you have a idea on how to help somebody in hell." she asked trying to not shiver over the creepy rattling chains. Lucifer frowned, "Not in the slightest. No worries that's why I have you with me." soon enough Lucifer found the hell loop.
"Ah! This is it." he smiled and sighed," I knew we would find it. Even his door was vile." Selene was watching Lucifer walking to the door and open it, but froze and turned to Selene who was right behind him looking curious. "uh, I just remembered every hell loop is different, I'm not sure what awaits us on the other side of this door, other then Jimmy Barnes." Selene glanced at Lucifer, "Well, you broke his brain, he might not be thrilled to see you."
"Oh, he wasn't when I crashed his wedding, and then ruined it. The bride didn't really want to marry him anyway." he said so casually with a chuckle. Selene shook her head "I can believe that would be something you would do." Lucifer started to open the door, "Good news is no matter what kind of hell loop we are walking into, I have complete ... control?" He opened the door and they entered into some kind of cartoonish style hell loop.
When lucifer and Selene took in the sight of the place they both had a shocked jaw to the floor look when they saw each other. The thought of them seeing themselves completely different was strange yet fascinating to Selene, "Woah, talk about Deja vu I think I dreamed of this before.." she said checking herself out completely fascinated she wish she had a mirror to see her face. "Is this normal?" she asked him as he was trying to register what had happened to him, "Most defiantly not." he replied not sure how he felt about his changed appearance.
"Well, you did break his brain, but this makes me feel like I'm in a mind of a cartoon artist." Selene was admiring the scenery it looked so beautiful and serene, and the butterfly that passed by fluttering. "Oh, no! This is terrible." She turned to him confused and saw him with his pants around his ankles, "I'm a smoothie! Nothing!" she blushed slightly "Oh, I'm sure it's temporary Lucifer. I wouldn't fret about it. At lease you're still good looking."
Selene decides to pop her wings out out of curiosity and flutter around Lucifer having too much fun, "I'll admit this is so weird, but so much fun at same time, like a dream come true. My wings don't seem that much different." She began to test the cartoon logic and tried to move a tree. She was successful at making it shake so she pulled it out, "Oh, my, hehe this is so amazing! Doing impossible things like this is cool. I'm so glad I came along, I would hate to miss out on such a cool Hell loop."
Selene was swinging the tree around nearly hurting Lucifer in the process, after she tossed the tree she picked up Lucifer and tosses him in the air, "Lucifer, you're so much lighter like this." she fluttered her wings and lifted him up in the air and tosses him into the sky, watching him crash down like a accordion. Lucifer could tell Selene was getting too caught up in her fun, she picked him up and played him like a instrument, only to learn she knew how to play. He never thought she would have such fun being in hell, let alone he never had a hell loop like this one.
"Selene! I think we should focus on the reason why we're here." Selene stopped playing with Lucifer like a instrument and realizes he was right, it wasn't time to have fun. She smiled at his squashed form, "Right, sorry. I got carried away." She sat him down as he made himself normal again. "Let's check this loop out and figure out how to fix Jimmy, since you broke his mentality, it's always the right thing to fix past mistakes." Lucifer brushed himself off and then something about the loop brought a nostalgic feeling. "hmm, I think I've been here before." he said walking with her to investigate the loop they were in.
Lucifer soon realized where they were, "Aha! This is the moment I crashed Jimmy's wedding. It was long before you, actually this moment happened after meeting the detective. Delilah died because of him, nearly killed the detective as well." Selene watched the wedding happen hearing the priest do the vows. deep down she couldn't wait to get married herself. She turned her gaze to her engagement ring knowing down here it hell is where the jewels came from. Lucifer grinned, "Oh, hello, this is my cue. Get ready, cause I make quite a entrance."
Selene snapped out of her thoughts when she herd a booming voice, then suddenly was shoved away from Lucifer while he got trampled on. Selene was kind of in a daze after hitting her head off the seat. She looked and was oddly disappointed at the sight of the Devil. She then noticed Lucifer and helped him up to his feet, "Well, that's quite a entrance you made, Lucifer" she said sarcastically, Lucifer was repulsed by Jimmy's version of him, "Is that supposed to be me?" he glared in disgust seeing chest hair on the devil. Lucifer scoffed at the whole event going down, "Oh, that's absurd. I don't look like that, and I certainly didn't act like that either. Ya know what? screw this and screw jimmy Barnes. I'm out." Lucifer stormed away from the wedding, suddenly a wave of nausea hit Selene, but she didn't think much of it and chased after Lucifer.
"Lucifer, we should really do this. I get you're upset over how jimmy thinks of you, but it's just a cartoon, it's not really you, this is all part of his mentality you can't just leave." She followed him back to where they started, Lucifer scoffed "Oh, yeah? Watch my cartoon keister do just that." she knew she had to do it, she ended up tackling him to the ground. "I'm serious Lucifer, I get this has ruffled your feathers, but you can't let his hell loop get to you. You broke him remember, trauma can affect the memory, he might not remember this right since he was put in the psych ward."
Lucifer huffed and groaned slightly," You're right. I hate him for what he's done I-" he noticed Selene was distracted looking quite confused, "what's the matter?" he asked. Selene got off Lucifer "I know I'm new to how this whole hell loop thing works but, is it normal for the door to vanish when you're in it?" Lucifer was slightly alarmed by her question he scrambled to his feet to take a look, all that was standing was a door less frame. "Um... I'm sure it's not a problem. I'll just summon a new one." he attempted to summon a new door, but nothing happened but frustrates and worries Lucifer, " nothing! Not only can I not summon the door, I don't feel the normal I have in Hell."
Selene didn't like the sound of that as the nausea hit her again," Lucifer, what do you mean by that?" much to his dismay he didn't like the truth about their situation, " I'm afraid we're trapped here." Selene lost all color to her knowing they are trapped in a Hell loop inside Hell. "I won't stand for this." Lucifer let his wings out nearly knocking Selene over in the process and try to fly out with no avail. Selene got herself out of the way and sat under a tree, hoping the nausea would pass not understanding why she was suddenly feeling like she was. She began to think, with them trapped Lucifer has no choice but to fix Jimmy.
Once Lucifer gave up trying to escape reality had sunk in, "We really are trapped in here." Selene hummed in thought, "Maybe not, we came here to fix Jimmy. Let's try this again maybe take a look at it from a different view. There's a lot of movies or even tv shows that have a deep meaningful message people like to quote cause it means something to them. Maybe we can find something here." Lucifer wanted to disagree but he didn't see another way, "What harm can it do maybe you can get your control over hell back, we got nothing to loose." she added.
The ground started to shake as the big cartoon red devil walked by as both Lucifer's greeted each other, "Oh good the next loop is starting up, c'mon." Lucifer seemed perplexed that Jimmy put a tuff of chest hair he chose now to ask a random question, "Honey, do you like chest hair? Cause I could grow a tuff like that." Selene raised her eyebrow at him, "I don't mind a scruffy stubble of a beard, I'm against chest hair, especially if the guy tends to have sweating issues, ew." Lucifer chuckled and then noticed something was wrong it made him concerned, "You don't look so good, are you feeling alright?" he asked following her. Selene tried to hide it, "I'm fine. I don't feel out of the ordinary. Maybe I'm just not use to Hell. I am half human and living." she shrugged not too concerned. Lucifer wasn't sure that was the case but he was going to make sure she will lay down and rest when they get out.
When they got to the wedding they watched the scene unfold, "Alright let's get this absurd character assassination over with." Selene paid close attention cringing how much of a ass he had been back then towards Jimmy, "Did you really say some of these things?" she looked at him, "Um, well, some of the details are a bit accurate at the time." he admitted bluntly she then herd the devil say "You're only holding her back." while smooching the bride to be holding Jimmy away. This irritated Lucifer, "I've never said that! I'm being slandered." Selene rolled her eyes and watched the devil torment jimmy with the pitch fork, "Okay, a little abridge, but also me. Let's interrupt this tirade."
Selene was itching to fight as a cartoon," Ok I'll take you on, you deal with Jimmy." Selene walked right down the aisle to the devil and grave him a tap on the shoulder. "Excuse me." she said to the Devil. "Uh excuse me I was in a middle of my perform-"When he turned around confused Selene slapped him hard in the face nearly making his head spin and fly away from Jimmy. The devil was taken by surprise at what happened, "Alright, it's you and me. Let's fight." she said putting on her serious game face, ready to fight. The devil laughed at her, but she took the leap first with a right hook sending the wedding guests away screaming.
Lucifer was enjoying seeing her whoop his old self's ass he couldn't help but laugh, "Maybe this isn't so bad." Selene was dodging all the attacks the devil could on her, so she let out her wings, and flew in to beat him up. "That's it honey, looking really graceful there. that's it let him have it!" Selene used the same tactic on he devil she used on Michael, then used the shadows to launch him out of the wedding a good distance. "Good job, honey, now we can get down to business." Lucifer fixed himself up to approach Jimmy in a friendly way.
"Jimmy! Let's chat." Jimmy nearly jumped out of his skin, "It's you. You ruined my wedding." he was mad at Lucifer, all Lucifer did was scoff, "Oh, c'mon. This? This is your torture? You really think me ruining your wedding really the worst thing that's ever happened to you?" Selene stood silent wondering if it's a good idea. Lucifer showed off his red devil face, "Come on, Jimmy. Show me your real hell." Jimmy looked at Lucifer in horror when suddenly the loop changed. Selene noticed they were normal again and no longer a cartoon, although Selene was disappointed slightly, she was confused what year they were in. "I must say this is definitely worse."
Meanwhile, on Earth, Dan was trying to figure out how to touch things as a ghost. "Dude, you almost got it. I think it moved." Nixie chuckled with a grin as she made herself a drink. Dan let out a sigh, "Okay, fine. I can't call for help. But you know what? I don't need to." Nixie gave Dan a look that dripped sarcasm ,"Oh? Care to fail again trying to fight me, cause it's funny watching you go though me." she took a sip of her drink. "Honestly, I'm not a threat. I get that you've had a bad experience with us celestials, I hardly know you, don't hold what other's done to you against me." she said slightly offended, Dan could tell there was some kind of pain she was going sighed and decided to get her to open up.
"Look, what ever is going on with you, what ever pain you feel. Let's talk about it." Dan said calmly, "I know what it feels like to be in pain, looking to hurt someone isn't the way to go, in the end you're just hurting yourself more." Nixie sighed, "I get it you don't trust me to not be here to possibly harm this Lucifer guy. I want to know what happened to my father, and why he abandoned us, I just hope he will accept me." Dan started to feel sympathy for the angel before him. "Like I said if you wish to get something off your chest, I'll listen," Dan said walking over to her, " to your feelings."
Nixie was amused, "Oh, you wish to talk feelings? hmm." she finished her drink, "Let's say I'm a bit mixed in my emotions department, between upset that my mother is in a coma, and anger due to my father not being there for me when I needed him most." Dan gave her a sympathetic look, "How did she end up that way?" Nixie sighed, " She was doing a movie stunt, and it happened so fast the cable hook snapped and she fell. I have to see her on life support ever since and do all the chores myself." Dan frowned at her story, "That's really rough, for a teenager like yourself to go though." Nixie chuckled, "I may look like I'm 18 or 21 to some people, but I'm a lot older then that." She grabbed the bottle and helped herself to another drink.
"You know, for someone harboring such anger and pain, you're pretty calm about what you're going though. Most would break under stress." Dan said, "Yes, well, there is a reason for that. I rather not start a fire." Nixie said embarrassed," If I were to have lost my temper, buildings would catch fire. You've seen what my wings can do." Dan was picturing the idea of her loosing her temper and buildings go kaboom was a bit worrisome. "Uh... Right, that makes sense. That would be a bad thing. Well, if you hope to have Lucifer help you find your father, you'll have to make a deal with him." Dan warned her and she smirked, "Well then, I guess I'll be sure to be prepared for the deal making then."
Meanwhile in Hell, Selene and Lucifer worked together to help Jimmy Barnes, but instead of leaving though the door way out of hell, Lucifer wanted to go deeper, they found themselves in a cheap motel room, and a kid, "Is that... Jimmy?" Selene questioned as they both noticed the cartoon, "Are we in the heart of his torture?" Lucifer looked around, "We must be." a woman entered the room as she sat by her son to give him a hug and a kiss, "Oh...that's his mom. She's the mystery woman." Lucifer and Selene listened to the scene laid out before them, and then watched his mom leave, but never seems to come back, the feeling tugged at her heart strings, " she just left him here? how long? how can he take care of himself and pay the room?" Selene felt Jimmy's pain of watching his mom leave, the look on his childhood face made her feel worse then she was. "He's only holding you back" said a voice from the open door.
That phrase again bothered her, "there's that phrase again, this must be the origin." Lucifer couldn't help but show sympathy and pity after what he witnessed, "Lucifer, this is wrong. This isn't something he should be guilty about, hurting because this happened yes, but his mother made the choice to just leave him... it's not his fault." she said calmly with some sadness, "All this lead him on this path to wind up in hell? This ain't right." Lucifer felt the same when suddenly child services came to take Jimmy away. Selene wanted to so badly intervene but stood by as Jimmy fought against being taken away. Lucifer couldn't sand by and froze the two trying to take Jimmy away, and reversed the scene making the men in suites go away. Then Lucifer did something for Jimmy, he brought back his mom and left them alone.
"Lucifer, you did it, you got your control back." Selene said walking out the loops door letting Lucifer close it, suddenly she was feeling weak again, this was starting to worry her now just as she was feeling better. "We should go." Lucifer said moving away from the door, he noticed Selene wasn't looking too well. "Lucifer, before we go, I want to see Da-" she suddenly didn't feel right like her legs gave way and fell into Lucifer mid step. "Darling, I'm beginning to feel that you are clearly not fine." Selene shook her head. "I'm fine, I suppose maybe the emotions of other's are affecting me more then I realized."
"I'm taking you back to the surface. You're going to lie down and take it easy at home this instantly." Lucifer scooped her up much to her protest, and flew her up and out of hell and back to Earth to her house. Like a gentlemen he carried her inside and put her on the couch, "Talk about practice for our wedding night." she joked then took his hand, "I'm fine I promise, I'm worried about you, are you alright?" she watched him sit down to think. "The whole point was to see if I can help someone I hate. Despite what Jimmy Barnes did, I care about him now."
Selene sat up, "I thought it was a bad thing I grown to like Carol, maybe this is a good thing, as this is." Lucifer said as she stared him down, "Lucifer... are you-" Lucifer cut her off with his revelation, "If I can learn to help someone like Jimmy, I can do it for anyone. I can't believe I'm saying this, I think I'm ready to be God." he laughed as it was a good thing. "Lucifer, this is great you got your answer you needed. I'm happy and proud of you for what you did. You can do this." Selene soon regretted sitting up as she felt sick to her stomach, she felt the dry heaves coming made her fly to the kitchen as fast as she could. Lucifer had no chance to react until he herd the retching of her throwing up.
"Still say you're fine?" he called from the living room, it wasn't long until the sound stopped, and she came back wobbly, "At first I thought it sucked being human, I'm starting to dislike being half human." She was dripping in sweat due to high body temp. "Maybe I will, lie down and let me re adjust I'll be fine." she turned back to the kitchen and poured herself a cold glass of green tea from her fridge, before making her way to relax in the living room. "I could stay and take care of you. I want to." She smiled at him when she entered the room, "It's sweet of you, Luce, but I'm fine, if I need you I'll call. Go blow off some steam in Lux, you deserve it after being in Jimmy's hell loop. Hell, have a double for me, I'm not in the mood to drink. I want to be sober."
Lucifer smiled, "alright get plenty of rest and I'll pick you up in the morning for you to get your jeep." Selene nodded, "I'll be here." He smiled and showed himself out. When he got home his elevator door opened up a surprise guest in his pent house, his face twisted in confusion, "Daniel, What on earth are you doing on Earth?"
