It was a warm September night and through the open window a light breeze cooled the air when a silent soft whispering woke her up.

She looked out of the window and saw that it was still in the middle of the night and she turned around and noticed that the bed besides her was still warm but empty.

She sat up and looked sleepily around the dark room.

Through the loop of her bedroom door she saw that there was light in the other room.

She stood up and without getting on her slippers she barefooted went across the room and then made her way through her hallway and the cold wooden floor made her freeze a little.

The nearer she came the louder she could hear that whispering.

When she noticed this familiar melody she couldn't help but smile.

Silently she pushed the door a little more open and what she saw made her smile even wider.

At the window she saw Jess sitting in a big wooden but comfortable chair holding their little miracle in his lap.

He was holding a little bottle with milk in it in his hands and carefully caressed this little bundle in his lap.

In his voice she could hear love, adoration and pride. This scene made her feel warm and happy.

So Rory just stood there and enjoyed hearing him humming this little song for their new love, their new Mariano, their son Jack.

After a few moments she went back to their bedroom because she didn't want to disturb this little daddy – son moment for the two people she loved the most.

But she left the door open and so her husband didn't just sing his little son to sleep, he also made his wife more happy than ever before in her life and with a smile on her lips she peacfully fell asleep again.
