Sakura placed a cool rag over her fiancé's forehead, soothing his platinum colored hair in the process.

When she had woken up in this time it was rather surprising, not just because she was in the past but also because she was alive.

Kaguya had finally been knocked down, they were all exhausted beyond comparison. None of them expected the goddess to get back up, but the last Sakura remembers is using the last of her chakra to speed in front of Naruto at the last second.

Sakura remembers the impact, she remembers the pain, she remembers the faces she left behind.

"Ugh." A groan brings the kunoichi out of her painful thoughts. Inoichi pants with a sickly blush spread across his face.

Sakura told him not to overwork, but no, what does he do work overtime so he can get the date of their wedding off. But the idiot does not listen, Sandaime already gave both Sakura and Inoichi off.

"Idiot" The soon-to-be Yamanaka mutters affectionately to her sick fiancé.

"Sakura~" Inoichi whined turning onto his side, causing the rag to fall off. The afore mentioned woman sighed, "yes, my sick husband?"

"I really like you, and your cooking is really good to. Also you laugh at my dumb jokes and keep me company during my bad times. So will you be mine forever and ever?" Sakura's eyes watered at the childlike yet sweet proposal.

When they got engaged she had been the one to propose, and Inoichi wasn't mad about it, but she could tell his plans were kind of ruined.

Inoichi had fallen asleep after his bold proposal, actually muttering out the last phrases before nodding off. But Sakura couldn't blame him.

The Yamanaka was very rarely sick, but Sakura liked to think that this was experience for if he ever did get sick while their married.

Sakura composed herself getting up, she grabbed the basin filled with the water she had been using on her soon-to-be husband.

However, before she could walk away, an arm came to wrap around her waist, "don't go~"

Sakura held back a yelp "I thought you were asleep." Inoichi didn't respond but pulled her onto the bed.

"Inoichi! Your going to get me sick too!" She whisper yelled, not really wanting to wale him up, yet still upset.

"Don't care. Mine." Inoichi's brilliant words did nothing to cool her rising temper but his cooling face buried in her neck left her with little resistance.

Sighing once again, Sakura sacrificed herself to her beloveds comfort. "Never again, am I letting you overwork. You loving idiot."

With a fond smile she relaxed her body and fell asleep in Inoichi's embrace.
