"Sakura-chan! How've you been? Hope Izumo's absence hasn't been to much for you." Kotetsu bursted through the door.

"Kotetsu you were here literally yesterday. You don't have to ask every time you see me." Sakura sighed from her spot on the couch. Her protective boyfriend was currently on a month long mission and had apparently asked his twin to check up on her everyday.

This had been their first long mission apart since they first started dating, so she can see why Izumo had done it. And to be completely honest Kotetsu was like a smart Naruto, so she didn't mind his company.

"You excited? Izumo's due back later today." Kotetsu leaned back on the kitchen counter with an apple in hand.

Sakura grinned at him "of course I am, I already made him food for when he gets in and prepped the shower."

The shinobi blinked in surprise honestly feeling a little envious of his best friends treatment. "Dang Sakura, treat him like this every mission and his efficiency will sky rocket."

"I just missed him." Sakura flustered hiding her face behind her newest medical book. Kotetsu busted out laughing "aw, Saku-chan your so cute."

The kunoichi glared at him lowering her book "shut up, Idiot!"

The man just laughed louder "Oi, oi, what's going on here. My best friend making moves on my cute girlfriend?"

Both whipped their heads toward the door "Izumo!" Sakura dropped her book, sprinting towards the man.

Izumo quickly put down his mission satchel to catch his happy girlfriend. Sakura buried her face in his neck not caring about the scent of sweat.

"Miss me?" The man chuckled causing his chest to rumble. Sakura nodded not moving her head away just yet.

"Wow, I wasn't expecting this type of welcome." Sakura finally moved her head only to give him a quick kiss.

"There is food in the oven and the showers is ready when you want to take one." The kunoichi rambled, not seeing that Izumo wasn't paying attention.

Izumo leaned in connecting their lips once more but this time in a deeper kiss. Sakura sighed in content not realizing how much she had missed her man.

"Ahem! Do you have to do that in front of me. I mean I get it, I'm a lonely, lonely man with no life and no wife." Kotetsu continued his dramatics causing the couple to split.

"Shut up, Kotetsu." The couple spoke in unison both shaking their heads with fondness.
