"Hey babe! I'm going out with Izumo for a little." Sakura shouted from the entrance of their house.
A loud thud could be heard before stomping from the back study office "your going out with Izumo? But this is the third time this week."
Kotetsu skidded to a stop, Sakura spotted a red mark on the mans head where his forehead protected usually went.
"We're just going shopping, Tsunade and Sasuke's birthdays are coming up so I've been looking for gifts."
Kotetsu's heart gave a tinge of pain but he covered it up "what about my birthday? Mine is before both of theirs."
Sakura sweated looking away trying not to look at his puppy eyes "I already got yours."
Kotetsu sighed waving her off as she quickly said her goodbyes and flickered away.
Sakura let out breathe of relief, wiping her brow "Saku-chan, your late."
Izumo pushed off the pole, coming to stand next to her with his arms crossed. The kunoichi nodded "Kotetsu's getting suspicious, he stopped me on my way out, I had to tell him I was getting gifts for Shishou and Sasuke."
Izumo sighed nudging her with his shoulder "it'll be alright, I know Kotetsu, so I know he's gonna love his birthday. Come on, let's finalize everything."
Sakura nudge him back grinning excitedly, they continued to walk down the street, nudging each other more and more intensely.

"Babe~ why do I have to dress up for Uchiha's birthday party? I can't believe he's getting a party before me, his birthday is the day after mine. I don't like it, babe~."
Sakura had to drag Kotetsu to the closest Akimichi restaurant for 'Sasuke's' birthday party. But honestly listening to a grown man complaining and whine a total of ten minutes and shes still counting, was getting increasingly annoying.
However she powered through it as they got closer to the restaurant Sakura noticed Kotetsu get quieter, she knew without a doubt he was feeling hurt and he was the type to bottle it up.
But that's what makes this all the more sweeter, Kotetsu slid open the door and with a great shout everyone yelled "happy birthday."
Sakura snickered watching the confusion grow on his face "huh. Wait, what?"
Sakura placed her hands on his shoulders gently pushing him into the restaurant. The whole room was filled with friends and family.
Only two seats were left open which was centered in the back. Kotetsu came back to his senses when his butt hit the chair.
"Sakura-." The kunoichi smiled as he clutched her hand in his. He couldn't bring himself to say anything.
The party commenced with people drinking, eating, and joyously laughing. Kotetsu almost cried when a waiter brought out his favorite dish, something that wasn't served often in most restaurants.
As the party was coming to an end the gifts were handed out, the typical ninja equipment and supplies, sometimes a unique gift here or there.
When it came to Sakura's turn she pulled out a scroll and handed it to her boyfriend. He gave her a confused look before opening it.
With a small poof, a large bottle appeared in the middle of the paper. Kotetsu let out a surprised laugh "syrup from lightning, literally the best present ever!"
Sakura smiled softly, watching Kotetsu fawn over the substance. The man turned to her giving her a quick peck which left her burying her face in her hands.
"Your welcome, sweetie." Sakura muttered with her neck and ears red. The others around them chuckled, see how cute the two were, they were really made for each other.
