Hey guys sorry for the long wait, in case you were all curious I have not given up on this story, I enjoy it too much. The thing is, after I posted the last chapter, one of my friends, that I grew up with, passed away due to medical complications. Because of that I was deeply depressed for a while and I didn't want to really write anything, add in the fact that I needed to give emotional support to my friend's family I really couldn't divert time to this. But I am back and writing, might take some time or it might take a while, but I promise I have started writing for the next chapter and fight so here's the next Interlude.
Saitama was simply watering his Cactus Plant in his apartment in the City that was constantly under Monster attack. "Today's just another day on the job, though I guess I'm taking the day off." He muttered to himself as Genos was out and about doing his heroic duty using his "Wisdom" to help him get stronger.
Just as he finished watering his plant, he heard a noise coming from his apartment and he walked back in to see a portal being created and much to his confusion, three people came out of it. "Well seems like we're here." The Old Man of the group said cheerfully to the two women with him.
"Where are we now?" The youngest whined.
"A world where super humans fight monsters every day like one of those silly morning cartoon shows with a monster of the week type of shenanigans." The Old Man said, which Saitama had to admit, did seem like that.
"Is that so?" The elder woman said as she turned to see Saitama and her eyes widened in shock and started sweating. "Is this man perchance the one we need to recruit?" She asked nervously.
"Yo." Saitama said waving his hand at them.
"Indeed it is!" The Old Man said happily as he walked up to Saitama. "Let me guess, twenty words or less?" He asked Saitama with a smirk.
"Yeah." Saitama said blinking in surprise. "How did you know that?" He asked curiously.
"Dimension Traveler." The Old Man said. "Gods in another world want to wipe out Humanity unless they prove their worth, gathering allies for it, you're our pick. Sorry if it's over twenty words but extinction of man you know." The Old Man shrugged.
"Oh." Saitama said. "Got it, so you want me to fight for Humanity in there?" He asked as the trio nodded. "Sure." He said casually as the Old Man smirked happily.
"Thank you Saitama." The Old Man said happily. "Through here please." He said as he created another Portal. "And don't worry it's all expense paid." He added in as Saitama nodded and walked through the portal as the Vampire Sorcerer and Valkyries gained their next ally.
