—Thanksgiving—
It had been another Thanksgiving day; covering the famous WB water tower with festival Christmas lights, mixed with Thanksgiving holiday festoon. And giving at least several hundred dollars away to astonished Salvation Army volunteers, and also, celebrating the day with friends within the WB studio lot, including the CEO, Nora Rita Norita, and Ralph T. Guard. And not to mention, going crazy for hours on end.
But now, the tower was mostly quiet, except for the Ben Rector Thanksgiving song playing none stop on a disc player. But who cared, the song reminded three certain puppy looking toons just how much they had to be thankful for on this one typical day.
Yakko William Warner—being the oldest at fourteen was currently sitting on a sofa in the living room of the WB water tower, just thinking about how grateful he was to have two younger siblings within his life. He watched as the two younger ones were asleep on the couch, huddled next to each other. Yakko only smiled as he just looked on, being so thankful for such siblings as his younger two. Yakko then picked up a postcard that the Warners' good friend, Jasper Kell had sent them. Jasper and his wife, Rachel, and their now two children, Fay and Grace were celebrating the Thanksgiving holiday with family in Missouri, where Jasper's parents lived. Yakko remembered when he, Wakko, and Dot all had met Grace for the very first time. Grace was a little light colored African American girl who Jasper and Rachel had taken in shortly after Fay was adopted by them. And ever since then, they immediately accepted her the way they had accepted Fay. Yakko was thinking of how much Fay was thankful to have a little seven year old sister.
Yakko then looked at the picture on the postcard of the Kells, Fay and Grace were practically shoulder to shoulder, all smiles, while Jasper and Rachel stood in the back, also all smiles. Then he flipped the card over and smiled as he read a lengthy description of how they were doing, and what they had been doing, and that they wished he and his siblings happy holidays. The card was signed by them, alongside other family members.
Suddenly, Wakko and Dot both yawned as they woke up from the little nap they were having. Yakko immediately smiled as he heard them waking up. He immediately walked over to couch and sat down in the third, empty spot. The two younger ones suddenly snuggled up against him, one on each side of him.
Wakko Ryan Warner—being only eleven years old, smiled as he snuggled up against his older brother and smiled. Then his face lit up as he felt Yakko rub his shoulder. The older one never wore a shirt, unless the occasion called for it. But he wore a brown colored pair of pants. Dot, who was only ten years old, only wore a pink colored skirt, and had her dog like ears tied up in a yellow colored four leafed hair clip. As for Wakko, he wore nothing but a cyan blue turtleneck sweater, and he also wore a red colored baseball cap that he would always wear backwards. And as for pants, the middle sibling never wore any, unless the occasion called for it. And on this one typical day, the Warners found themselves wearing nothing but their usual clothing.
Suddenly, Yakko glanced at the clock on the kitchen stove and upon seeing what time it was, he suddenly smiled as he gently shook his siblings awake again. The two younger kids immediately jolted awake, fully aware all of a sudden.
Yakko suddenly grabbed out a tablet from his hammerspace and turned it on. Within a few minutes, he got it to the app he wanted it on. Then, all three of them huddled close to each other, all of them smiling as they suddenly saw the faces of their friends on the screen. And with loud voices, all together, Yakko, Wakko, and Dot all yelled at the screen at their friends…
"Happy Thanksgiving!"
