GETTING TIGHT WITH EACH OTHER
(Follow up to Siduction, inspired by a fanart)

"We're almost there, boys." said Lori.

"Thanks for coming with me to Great Lakes City Clyde," said Lincoln.

"No problem," said Clyde. "I needed somewhere to go while my dads were out of town for the weekend anyway."

"It really is a cool city," said Lincoln. "Lots of great sights to see."

"And I know a certain someone will be very happy to see you Clyde." said Lori.

Clyde laughed anxiously. The last time he had seen Sid, which was also the first time, they had an awkward yet pleasant first interaction. Though the McBride boy was nervous they were moving too fast. She had kissed him on the lips as a parting gesture, and while he certainly did not wish it didn't happen, it was still a little much.

Within five minutes, the ride came to an end as they arrived in front of the familiar apartment building. Lincoln and Clyde hopped out of the back seats of Vanzilla, taking in breaths of the city air. The two of them went upstairs into the building while Lori went to the Bodega on the ground level.

Lincoln knocked on the apartment door and a familiar 11-12 year old Latina answered.

"Well well well." said Ronnie Anne. "Look what the alley cats dragged in today."

"Your worst nightmare," said Lincoln.

Ronnie Anne laughed. "How've you dorks been?"

"Fine," said Lincoln. "We recently started broadcasting our news show at middle school."

"That's awesome," said Ronnie Anne. "Do yo-"

Ronnie Anne was interrupted by a loud crash from the upper floor. "Get back here Wilson." the three heard Sid say. Two pairs of footsteps stomped toward the stairs and within a few moments a monkey came down the stairs with Sid chasing behind it. The half Asian city girl dove and caught the monkey. "Gotcha." She stood up and started to walk back up the stairs. "You can't be running around the building like that Wilson."

Ronnie Anne cleared her throat.

Sid turned. "Oh hey Ronnie Anne, hi Lincoln, hey-" she took a pause, dropping Wilson the monkey. "Clyyyyyde!" Sid ran full speed over to Clyde and pulled him into a tight bear hug, lifting him off the ground. As she pressed the spectacled boy into her body, she let out a small squeal of joy.

"Why don't you ever hug me like that?" teased Lincoln.

"Because I don't wanna put you in a body cast." quipped Ronnie Anne.

Clyde started to gasp. "I-I-huuh,"

"I don't think he can breathe." said Lincoln, noticing Clyde's face losing color.

"Easy Sid, easy!" said Ronnie Anne.

Sid let go of the boy upon a loud crack emitting from his back. Clyde gasped for air.

"Whoopsie, sorry Clyde." Sid said sheepishly. "I didn't mean to hug you so hard, I was just so excited to see you again I lost my cool. Are you okay? Please tell me you're okay."

Clyde let out a small chuckle. "Yeah, I-I think I'm good. Just give me a few minutes to realign my spine."

"You sure you're alright buddy?" asked Lincoln.

"Yep." grunted Clyde as he pressed his palms into his lower back. "Ooh!"

"You should sit down for a few minutes Clyde," said Ronnie Anne. She led the three others into her apartment and Clyde sat down on the couch. "We'll be right back."

The two girls left the two boys by themselves as they went into the kitchen. "God Sid," said Ronnie Anne with a chuckle. "You almost broke the poor guy in half."

"I don't know what came over me," said Sid.

"I do," said Ronnie Anne with a smirk. "But in all seriousness, you don't wanna scare Clyde away by being overly affectionate towards him."

"You're probably right," said Sid.

"From what I know of Clyde, he doesn't really like things that happen fast and sudden. So if you want to become closer friends with him, you have to be slow and gradual about it."

"Slow and gradual. Got it." said Sid.

The two girls walked back out to the living room

"Soooo Clyyyyde." said Sid, attempting to talk in slow motion. "Caaan I huuuug yooouuu agaaaain wheeen youuuu're baaaack feeeels beeeetteeerrr?"

Ronnie Anne face palmed.
