Life Unexpected_Gilmore Girls crossover

Chapter 3

The morning of my date I woke up to Rory knocking on the door " what are you doing here so early?" she handed me a coffee " well we need to get something new to wear for the dates," I was about to respond but Baze spoke u " she is right " and with that he gave me some money and went to bed so I went to my room and went to look for something to wear while we went shopping.

After an hour of shopping I had pick our a black floral casual dress while Rory chose a light blue sundress after we had gotten lunch Rory had dropped me off at home, since I had hours until my date with Jones I tried to catch up with some homework then around four I jumped in the shower to get ready.

Rory

I had dropped Lux off at Baze's house and was on my way to Stars Hallow when my grandmother called and asked If I could go over for some tea so I told her yes and that I would be over there in five minutes, when I got to the house the maid lead my out to the garden when my grandma saw me she hugged me " so Rory I know that you and Lux have been talking and I was wondering has she ever mentioned having a coming out party?"

I was surprised "no grandma she hasn't but she doesn't seem like she would want a coming out party!" my grandma looked like she was coming up with a plan, we stayed talking for a hour and then I told her that I had to leave since I had a date that night, when I go home I told my mom everything so she had called Cate and told her to be prepared for whatever it is that Emily is planning.

So Jess had told me that he would pick me up at six -thirty and he hadn't shown up yet and when I looked at my watch I saw that it was six-forty and I had been pacing back and forth and then finally at seven Jess had knocked on the door, when I got in the car he didn't say much so we just drove to the restaurant.

When we walked inside I saw Lux and Jones talking and laughing when she saw me she waved and I waved back, Jess and I sat down and we talked about our day and the waitress came and took our order and then we started talking about books and then our food ordered.

Lux

Jones had shown up right on time and when we got in the car he had asked me about my day and since it wasn't that long of a drive we just talked about random things, when we pulled up to the restaurant and we walked inside I looked all over the place to see if I could see Rory and Jess but they weren't there yet and I had told Jones that my cousin was also coming here on a date.

While we were waiting for our food we talked about our childhood once our food came I noticed that Rory and Jess were thirty minutes late which surprised me because I knew how on time Rory was, finally they walked in and we waved at each other.

After dinner Jones and I walked downtown and we had gotten some ice cream when Jones had asked me If I wanted to be his girlfriend and I said yes, since it was getting late and I had to stay at Cate's house tonight Jones dropped me off Cate and Ryan were sitting down and trying to fix their relationship so I went to my room.

On Sunday afternoon Emily invited us over for some tea and Cate had told me about the phone call from Lorelai, when we got there we went on to the patio and Emily and some of her friends were sitting down drinking tea, when she saw us she gave us and hug and told us to sit down.

While the maid poured our tea the other ladies started talking about a debutante ball and they asked me If I ever had one and I told them no and then they asked if I wanted to have one so I looked at Emily and she had a big smile on her face so I said yes.

All of a sudden they were giving me pamphlets and they were telling Cate what she needed to get for the ball that was in three weeks, so that night I had called Baze and we told him about the debutante ball and how he would have to present me to society he agreed and then I called Jones and asked him if he would escort me to the debutante ball and he agreed.

During the week Cate and Emily picked me up after school and went shopping for a dress for the debutante ball after trying on ten we finally found the last one, later that night I was talking to Rory and we talked about trying to have a double date.

Rory

The next day I was at Luke's with Lane and we were talking about the band that she had joined and how she was crushing on Dave, I was happy for her, when I looked at her I was thinking that we should have a girls night you, me and Lux, Lane nodded her head that would be great, we finished our burgers and we were going to my house to study and then I was going to call Lux.

Lux had agreed to have a girls night with us so after Friday night dinner Lux was going to come home with us.

After we got home from Friday night dinner we met Lane at Doose's Market so we could get junk food and then we would go and get a movie, while we were getting the snacks we saw Dean he just looked at me with a hurt expression on his face so I walked out of the store and waited for the girls.

After we got a movie we went back to my house and ordered a pizza, once the pizza arrived we started the movie, three movies later we had finished the movies we were all pasted out on the sofa, the next morning Lane left to go home and help her mom and then I was going to drop Lux off at her dad's house and then go and visit my grandparents.

Later that day when I got home I called Jess and asked him if he wanted to go on a double date with Lux and Jones and he didn't want to but then he agreed, after we hung up I called Lux and told her that I talked to Jess about the double date so she said she would talk to Jones.

When my mom got home from work I was telling her that Lux and I were planning a double date, she looked at me "I'm glad that you and Lux get along so great and are becoming great friends," I smiled at her.
