A/N: I have no clue where the hell this came from. It's
weird. And just…weird. Fai is being lazy again. Because he wants to
see Kurogane's dance. And I know Kurogane is probably more precise
in his fighting style then I'm giving him credit for, but whatever.
This is how it would appear to me. You guys be brutal.
Fai decided that he loved to watch Kurogane fight. He wouldn't say all together that Kurogane moved carelessly. But compared to Fai's graceful composure, he did. However, Fai would like to call it reckless abandon more than carelessness. Whenever he could, he always loved to watch the taller man in action. It was nearly enchanting to watch his sword, or whatever weapon he happened to possess at the time, glide beneath his fingers as he attacked. Azure eyes followed every twist of his body as he dodged, attacked, and danced around his enemies. The man's body could make some beautiful angles when he tried.
But then of course, Kurogane would yell at Fai for being lazy and tell him to help or he was going to kill him. That's when Fai had to get up with his long, wooden staff and join the battle.
Fai often had wondered what they both looked like on the battlefield. He wondered how his graceful swoops and jumps looked compared to Kurogane's hasty leaps and bounds. He wondered if he complimented Kurogane's fighting style at all. But then he reminded himself of what an unmistakably good team they made a lot of the time and decided that they must fight pretty well, side by side.
As another enemy fell, Fai smiled at Kurogane. It was still that stupidly fake grin he always wore, but his eyes held all the sincerity in the world.
"Just look at how well we dance together, Kuro-rin…"
