Empty Lockers
Empty lockers, so many empty lockers…
The cylons jumped in two days ago, the Colonial Defense Network had been compromised and most of the fleet wiped out. The Battlestar Solaria and BSG-17 had moved to engage the cylon fleet and assist in the colonies defense with ten other ships. The Battlestar Pacifica and Cruisers Agamemnon and Herculean were disabled and destroyed shortly after the Battlestar Group engaged three cylon basestars. The remaining nine ships engaged the basestars, vipers were launched and battle was joined. The engagement raged for a half-hour before the remaining ships were ordered to jump away.
Casualties were high.
Of Solaria's two-hundred viper complement ninety percent were destroyed.
As I stand here in the bunkroom I look at all the empty lockers, so many dead. So many friends lost. So vain a loss.
Mourn the dead later, its time to get back in the fight. Now we are going to take the fight back to the cylons and avenge the fallen.
