Prologue
Bruce wayne stands behind the keyboard of the bat computer.
He's reading a daily planet article on Superman's death, he had died at the age of one hundred and fifty-four of old age, his death had left metropolis unprotected, and Batman as one of the Council member of the Justice League was tasked with finding a hero to temporarily protect the city till the Justice League could apoint someone to guard over that sector.
Batman had immediately recalled a conversation he'd recently had with Richard Grayson aka Robin, who had been protecting star city till green arrow and speedy were given guarding duty by the Justice League, Leaving Robin little hero work. Batman had promised he would notify him if any sectors opened up and this seemed like the perfect opportunity.
