Chapter 3
22 Hours Later at Wayne Manor
"You shouldn't have brought her here" Bruce said
"I didn't have anywhere else to bring her, besides Alfred and Barbara can take care of her better than I can" Richard responded
"She's a metahuman and therefore doesn't belong here" Bruce turned to face Richard
"She's a child !" Richard shouted
"She's a monster and you should have left her to die" Bruce said his voice even
"Then we'll leave" Richard said teeth clenched
"Where are you gonna go?"
"I'll take her to my apartment"
"Just hurry up"
Star city 11:30 that night
"So what's your name?" Barbara asked she was sitting on the edge of the bed in Richards apartment,
"I think my name is Rachel"the girl responded
"do you know how you got in that cell?" Barbara asked
"No "Rachel responded.
An explosion interrupted the two
"That sounded close " Barbara stood and walked to a window facing the sound.
Richard rushed in
"Babs that was two blocks down we need to check it out".
