With a final glance at the city he had once called home, he turned his back. He knew that he had to put as much distance between himself and Apollo as he could. After a moments thought he called a door. He knew of a shitty little city where he could start over. No one would know him there. He walked to the furthest corner of the roof. "Door." He never even gave a second thought as he walked through. He could only hope that he would eventually see Andrew again. He could only hope that this hadn't been his final good bye.

The door that he had opened deposited him in a darkened alley in Junk City. M knew that the first thing he needed to do was find a place to crash. He hadn't realized just how bone tired he was. He also knew that in the morning he had to find an apartment, preferably somewhere cheap that didn't ask too many questions. Then he would have to find a job, more than likely something that paid in cash, under the table. That would be best. He wasn't giving up on getting rid of the scum that populated every city that he had ever visited, that was more important to him that anything (other than finding Bendix and making him pay for what he had done. He knew that even if it looked like he was trying to live a normal life, everything that Bendix had done to him, everything that Bendix had taken from him had made that impossible.

He walked through the empty streets looking for the perfect hiding spot. He found what looked like an abandoned building and decided that was probably the safest place. He doored inside, it was perfect. It was dark, and quiet. The door was made out of thick steel and the cielings were high with thick beams. They looked like they were more then capable of holding his weight. With a good running start, he made it up a wall far enough that he could grab onto one of the rafters and swing himself up. With that done, he used his duffel bag as a makeshift pillow. As he was getting comfortable, he could feel a faint humming in his head, like it was going through his brain. The fight computer wasn't registering any sort of danger so he shrugged it off and fell into an uneasy sleep.
