M was unsure how long he'd been asleep but he woke up to the sound of voices beneath him. The buzzing in his head had gotten worse. When he'd fell asleep it had been faint, just there enough to be annoying; but now it was almost like a pulse in his head. He pressed his lips together and grit his teeth to stop the groan that wanted to escape. He knew that it was fucking with his computer and that meant that he wouldn't be able to just door out, but that was a problem that he'd have to solve in a bit. The main problem was the fact that he'd been wrong. He could have sworn that the warehouse had been empty when he first entered it. Now there seemed to be some sort of computer set up, with multiple monitors as well as a man and a woman talking.

"What is taking so long 37?" The woman asked.

There was a dark haired man standing at one of the monitors, his fingers flying across the keyboard. "There's some sort of frequency that is causing a lot of interference. It's so bad I can't even pinpoint where it is coming from. Maybe do a sweep of the perimeter and I'll check things out here."

The woman looked annoyed, M was willing to bet that she wasn't used to being ordered around by the man. "Fine. If you find anything let me know." The man nodded as she walked out the door.

Without looking up from the screen, the young man started talking. "If you want to get out of here without being caught and brought in for questioning, I strongly suggest that you get a move on. She won't be gone that long."

M knew that he didn't have time to worry about what they were doing or how they managed to hide all of the equipment that he could see. He knew that he was running against the clock. He threw his bag down first and then jumped from where he was hiding to land beside it.

"There's a back door. Use it."

M was slightly infuriated by the kids tone but at the same time he couldn't help but be impressed. Somehow the kid (and now that M had gotten a closer look, he realized that's exactly what this young man was. M seriously doubted if he was even in his thirties yet. He didn't have time to dwell on his thoughts though, he knew a gift when he was given one. He picked up his bag and ran through the back door, towards a heavily wooded area. He knew that his interest was to get to town and that he was taking the long way but he didn't want to risk being seen by the woman as he had no idea where she was. He could have really used some more sleep but he knew that now was not the time for that. He needed to put his plan into motion. He spared a thought for Andrew, hoping that he was alright. He thought about texting him to let him know that he was okay but thought better of it. He figured that Andrew needed his space, Andrew would get in touch with him when he was ready, whenever that was.
