Secret Mission 01: Stop Son-Goku at any cost! (1)

-Dante, probably, this thing is going to hurt like hell!

-Just do it!

*Crack!* *Crack!* *Crack!*

-Uuuh!

-Do I stop?!

-No! No! No! Go on with it! You too, Asia and Kiba, don't stop!

-Are you sure?

-Yes, it doesn't matter. I have a high tolerance for pain! Just don't stop!

-O-O-Okay... Asia, Kiba, please...

-Understood Buchou!

-Understood Mr. Dante-San, Miss Gemory-San. With your p-p-p-permission...

-'Uh!'-*Crack* *Crack!* *Crack**Crack**Crack**Crack!**Crack!**Crack! *-After the Monkey King escaped, and everyone got over the shock caused by his presence and/or taking possession of the body of one of his/her companions/friends, the treatment of the wounds of the Kusanagi began, who still lying on the ground and bathed in his own blood endured the pain in an absurd way when Rias (helped by Kiba), placed the externally protruded bones of his fractures in position to be reduced and placed back into an anatomical position in his arms and forearm, while Asia's healing aura did its duty as the sound of crackling bones reverberated in the assembly hall as all of the above was happening.

-!

-O.o

-[OoO]

-'Uh!'- *Crack! *-The whole scene stunned most of the people present, but not because of the brutal scene they were witnessing, because they had already seen worse carnage, but because they did not understand how a human being could endure all that pain and blood loss, and still remain fully conscious, and if that were not enough, the human being only let out a few light painful moans during the whole process, as if for him, that pain was nothing more than the sting of a bee, or even much less than that. Of all of them, Raynare seemed to be the most surprised, probably her head could no longer relate this individual to the concept of a "A mere mortal."

*Crack*-Less than 2 minutes into the "treatment", Asia's green aura finally served its purpose. All of Dante's wounds healed at breakneck speed as if they were regenerating as his body was enveloped by that green aura. Finally, when the last of the wounds was healed, the last crackling of a bone was heard as it settled into the ex-sparda's arms. Finally the bone had set, no longer a closed fracture with it.

Later, when the semi-white haired boy felt healthy enough, he got up from the crater in the ground where he had been with a jump, which frightened Rías, and the healer...

-Careful Mr. Dante-San!

-Dante, You've just been healed, be careful. *Sigh*

-'Relax, I already feel like n-n-n-new~ Thanks for the help guys'-After that sigh full of relief from the redhead, with his usual demeanor, the Kusanagi tried to downplay the importance of the issue, to prevent them from worrying when he said that last thing while giving a thumbs up. However, despite trying to give the appearance that everything was fine, a stutter escaped him when he felt substantially dizzy and weakened. Then he looked at his hands, and noticed that his skin was paler than usual: with that in mind he soon learned that this sensation was most likely due to the massive loss of blood as he had easily lost about one to two liters of blood when he was wounded, which seemed very strange to him as it was the first time in his two lifes that he felt such kind of exhaustion. Obviously due to his pride he would not tell them that he felt this way. "Is this what Nero felt when he had his arm torn off by Vergil?": He thought for a moment (with a frustrated sigh in between) about the situation his nephew had had to live through.

-[OoO]

-!

-¡[°0°]!

-I think I'm beginning to understand why he said he was like a lab rat to Azzazel, he has too many secrets and strange things inside his body. Is This mortal some kind of wild beast unknown to me?...

The Kusanagi hid his weakened state very well due to the loss of blood, so some of the people present looked at him as if he was some kind of abnormal monster for a moment. Even Raynare couldn't help but let out that whisper audible only to her in what was close to Asia, for she didn't trust the enemy too much. And if she hadn't left, it was because she really needed that boy to contact Azzazel, and especially in a situation like this.

When Rias shook her head to free herself again from the stupefied state in which the Kusanagi's abilities had left her, she said the first thing that came to her mind:

-Dante...you, how many secrets do you...?...Wait a minute, why do I keep calling you Dante?. Akira Antoni Kusanagi, you are a good friend of Issei, and a member of our school.

-'Don't be so formal Lady-Buchou, just call me Toni'~ *Sigh*-With a tired sigh Dante finished his sentence, for he sensed that many questions, and situations he wanted to avoid by wearing a disguise were now going to arise.

-'Lady-Buchou?, am I no longer Lady-Ranma?'-She raised an eyebrow at her new nickname, then shook her head as she realized she had rambled on the information she wanted to get.

-'No, you still are, but that's what my "alter-ego" also calls you, so I must make a distinction as long as I'm not wearing my "Disguise"'~

-'Ooooook?'-Supposing he was referring to the fact that at school she was her superior as a student with that nickname, Rias preferred not to probe further into his strange methods of attaching nicknames and/or his crazy behavior in general, so she turned to the matters that mattered to her-'I guess it sounds better than the other *Sigh*, anyway, has "Dante" always been you? Have you always lived here? Have you always run your business right under my nose?'

-Yes, and yes to all that. I was born here, and yes, DMC has its headquarters in this city, specifically in my room, it's just a phone and a poster for the moment~ And in case you're wondering too, here I trained here to hunt beasts.

-That's not even a business~

-'That's cruel Raygore!'-A small depressive aura enveloped our hero when he heard the mocking whisper of a certain red-eyed woman, so the next moment the former ex half-blood replied-'It starts from something!'

-That my name is Raynare!

-Don't blame me, it's complicated, like grimorichi.

-'It's Gremory! *Sigh* Geez, I guess your identity and injuries really diverted me from the main issue. In any case, I thank you again for the help you gave to my family, and I'll leave more questions for later, '-She with a deep breath in between plus a serious countenance, turned back to our hero, who also became serious as he remembered what had just happened.

-Right, that demented god kidnapped Issei! Any idea how to find his whereabouts?. We must go after that monkey and get the perverted kid back!

-No. There's nothing we can do. Didn't you see how he left you with only one finger?, and with your Balance-Breaker you have magical power on par with a supreme class demon. So even if we all go together, the result would be the same.

-'What?! So you're just suggesting that we just sit around and do nothing?! Rías you...!'-Obviously after hearing the above, the semi-white haired boy was quite angry, so he gritted his teeth, and complained to the Gremory instantly, however before his complaints continued, he was interrupted by the she-devil, who furiously shook her head at his words.

-Of course I didn't mean that! I would never abandon a member of my family! *Inhale* *Exhale* I only meant that we can't do anything, but I know someone who can help us get him back. I will contact my brother's queen immediately. This is a situation that could only be resolved by a warrior of Satan level or higher.

-'Ah, so that's what you meant, I see *Sigh*'- With a frustrated expression in between as he tightened his grip on the hilt of his sword, Dante said as he remembered how he was defeated so easily. He hadn't felt this weak since...Since never, even when he faced Urizen by first time, he knew that if he couldn't beat him, he could seal it, but now...what could he do? He was definitely a hardhead, as hardheaded as his ex-nephew, a family thing, so if necessary, he would go without a second thought to try and confront the Monkey-King, but even though he would never openly admit it, he definitely felt as frustrated as Nero did when he first faced Urizen-'I guess by that you mean your brother is. ..?'-Once he put his frustrations aside for a moment, he asked Rias curiously, who immediately answered him while creating a magic circle between her hands.

*Auge* *Auge* *Auge* *Auge*...

-One of the four current demon kings. Did everyone feel that?

*Auge* *Auge* *Auge* *Auge* -...But before Dante could know more about that which left him a little curious...

-Yes, Rías Buchou!

-Buchou, it seems...

-...Rias, someone is trying to deploy a powerful barrier! Contact Grayfia as soon as possible...!

*Auge* *Auge* *Auge* *Auge*-With haste, the black-haired girl, Akeno, informed Rías the above when the sensation of being under the pressure of a powerful magic passed through her body, just like everyone else felt. The next moment, Rías expanded the magic circle she held in her hands, but nothing happened...

...For the magic circle vanished an instant after it was created. She tried to create another one, over and over again for at least 10 attempts, but it all had the same result. Obviously that spell was meant to provide her with a kind of comunication magic, but nothing happened.

During that time, Raynare also tried to create one, but all her arcane circles ended in the same way as Rias'. By the way, apparently these two (spoken through body language, evidently ignoring each other and by the low hostility they had between them at the moment) had decided a "cease fire" between them since they had more important priorities now. In Rias' case, to save her pawn, and in Raynare's case, to communicate with Azzazel through the kusanagi as soon as possible.

-!

At once, unusual presences coming from outside the church reached the senses of all present, so without a second thought they climbed the stairs at the entrance/exit of the assembly hall until they reached the upper floor, where Dante would meet the missing figure of Arkham, since the priest's body was no longer where he left it. Instead of his corpse, there was only a huge trail of blood in the floor leading to the outskirts of the church, as if he had crawled away. He had probably survived and escaped with some unknown method while Dante was being "treated" for his fractures.

But Dante had little time to mourn the mad priest's escape, for...

...After he had set foot outside the church by following those presences...

-!

-!

-¿?

-¿?!

...He, plus Asia, Raynare and the Gremory Group were in for a wide surprise as their eyes focused to the front and sides for just at that moment, they sensed more strange presences approaching them from the city streets and from multiple directions coming from the depths of the forest adjoining the church.

As they looked toward the city streets closest to the convent, and the forest...

-!

-Uh?

-Those are...?

-Okay, someone needs to stop playing Jumanji immediately!

...They were confused because from the depths of the cedar forest, and from those streets, several groups of animals were approaching them.

-Are they Monkeys...?

-Yes. There are a lot of monkeys!

There were over 1000 of them. Many of the monkeys were hiding in the trees, and were watching the group of youngsters from the branches they had climbed, while others had climbed on lamp posts and/or on the roofs of some of the buildings near the convent.

-What's up with these guys? Did that fucking monkey call his relatives?

-Yes, he definitely did it, the great sage has an authority that allows him to summon monkeys, among other things related to those animals. This does not bode well. *1

-Oh, I see...This...What is an authority, raven-girl?

-My name is Raynare! How is it possible that you met Azzazel but don't know what that is?!

-Meh *Sigh*, I don't always pay attention to everything he says.

-Although I'd love to go over everything I've already researched about the gods with you two, I don't think we'll have much time for the raven to explain to you how the powers of the deities work, Dante, I mean, Akira Antoni.

-Who are you calling a crow, bat woman!?

-To You obviously!

-Hey, Hey, Hey, Hey ladies! concentrate on what's important! Damn!, And Rias, I already told you not to be so formal, just call me Toni outside of "Work" and Dante while wearing this outfit.

-That's a bit strange, it´s your "alter-ego" when you hunt beasts, right?

-Something like that.

-Well...I guess I'll give it a try. If that makes you feel more comfortable. *Sigh*

The one who answered the Kusanagi's doubts was Raynare, who was the one who seemed the least confused of all of them, she seemed to know something about the abilities of the heretic god who had escaped about two dozen minutes ago, probably Grigori informed her a little about the deity, or maybe she knew him in the past. Rias later intervened in the conversation when she noticed that this information would not be of much help at that moment because the monkeys, or rather apes, were now approaching them, and they did not seem friendly at all.

Naturally, seeing the dangerous attitude of the animals, all except Asia got into combat postures, but the next moment, for some reason Raynare placed herself in front of all of them while extending her hands to the sides, as if she wanted to protect the animals.

-No, stop all of you!

-Uh?

-¡¿?!

-!

-Hey, hey! What's the matter Ray-Rare?!

-Why are you stopping me, crow?!

Seeing them head on, Raynare ignored what they called her and as she put on an expression full of regret, Raynare said with mixed emotions as follows:

-Not all these monkeys are creatures created out of "nothing" by an "authority"!...Take a good look at them. Some of them are wearing clothes, aren't they? Many of them originally must have been humans, but most likely they have been transformed into apes by the divine power of the great sage. And if my intuition doesn't fail me, probably by now, all the people without magical resistance in the city have also been turned into apes or other primates.

-!

-What did you say?!

-All the people in the city? That's almost 800,000 inhabitants!

-That must have been that divine power we felt spreading like a barrier!

-Oh My God!

-Monkeys? Apes?...You must be kidding me...My whole family could have been turned into furry animals?...

Obviously upon hearing it, everyone was stunned and except for Koneko, they gave their opinions. Everyone except Dante seemed surprised, he more than anything was starting to worry about his loved ones. After all our hero knew very well from previous experiences that when an evil god manifests on earth, many supernatural phenomena occur. He already knew that Mundus/Argosax had been unknown evil hell gods in his home world, and in the case of the latter, when he was about to manifest on earth, literally portions of hell were merging with the human world, not to mention that there were space-time disturbances in some regions of Uroboros city...Not for nothing, he confronted "Phantom" for the second time in that city, even though it was supposed to be impossible for that spider-demon to still be alive at that time.*2

And apparently this time the supernatural phenomenon that manifested itself after the awakening of the monkey king was the transformation of the people of the city into monkeys and hominids.

While Dante was thinking of the quickest way to get home with the intention of observing the state of his family, a voice that everyone knew was heard through the darkness of the night, almost as if it came from a super-megaphone that could distribute the sound everywhere.

-*'Sate, Sate, Sate! People of my kingdom, listen carefully! We were locked up for countless centuries, but we are finally free again! So party like there's no tomorrow! Bring chaos and destruction to this city and this entire enemy-ruled region! And eliminate anyone who tries to stop your fun! I will reward very well those who bring me the heads of the children of the fallen angels and demons who dared to lock me up and use me! '-That was Issei's voice, but clearly such words were dictated by the Monkey-King, who didn't take long to open his mouth again just as Rias got the image of a certain red-haired person in her head, who was most likely one of the few people she knew who had the necessary power to confront the heretic god-'Gremory clan girl and Azzazel´s laboratory rat, don't bother trying to escape to hell or trying to call the satans or that angelic god before their time! I've placed a heavenly barrier on all the territories ruled by the devils and black angels in this prefecture! The island of Hokkaidō, has been sealed off from the outside world! So any transportation or magical communication spells you or your companions have will be useless! After all I have to properly prepare myself to face anyone who tries to stop me! Sure, you can try to escape on foot, transport or fly, but you'll run into a gigantic dome that's impossible to get through! So best of luck with that! *Nishi**Nishi**Nishi**Nishi*! Survive if you can until I let you call those idiots! Though if you die before then I don't care! Hahahaha!'*

-O.O

On the one hand, when the group of boys, and Raynare listened to the monkey king, they were wide-eyed having understood the implications of the last part of his sentence: Hokkaidō is a large island north of the main archipelago of Japan. Its location is of significance for trade between Japan and Sakhalin Island/Russia and China, but more importantly, it is the only place in all of Japan that is almost entirely ruled by the family of the 72 pillars, its regions being ruled by different devil families and one or two other scattered cities where the black angels dominate. If they could not get out of there through "human" transportation or through magic, and if they could not communicate with allies from the outside, it meant that they had just "arrived" on a lonely island in the middle of the ocean, which was at risk of "sinking".

"What about the protector families of Japan or the gods who protect Japan? They would have to send help, wouldn't they?": No, definitely not. After countless wars, they pretty much gave up the territory of Hokkaidō a few centuries ago. Surely they would rather see this island be destroyed by Sun-Wukong, than help the people of this region, as long as they see their enemies fall": Those were more or less the thoughts of Rias, and Raynare after quickly assessing the situation.

And on the other hand...

-Ohohohohohohohhohohohohohohohohohohohohohohohohohohohohoho!

-Uhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhhhuhhuh!

-Roaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar!

-Niaaaaaniaaaaaniaaaaaaniaaania!

...The monkeys made a noisy mess and turned their gaze to the group of youngsters after having heard the violent words of their master, with eyes full of murderous intentions, the primates advanced in masse with the intention of finishing them all off. Spider Apes, Howler Apes, Langurs, Lemurs, Baboons, Orangutans, Chimpanzees, Gorillas, etc: all kinds of lesser as well as greater apes headed like a disorganized horde towards them. Some of the apes were dressed in various clothes, which were loose-fitting in many cases, giving them a somewhat comical appearance, but no less threatening, since despite looking like just a herd of wild animals, magical auras were emanating from all of them, which could well be on the level of an upper-middle-class demon.

Some of them knocked down trees/threw cars aside with ease in their forward charge!

So they were definitely not normal animals!

-Rías Buchou, what do we do now?!

-We can't attack them all!

-This is no good, Rias! Should we fly away and escape?!

-Surely we can't hit them recklessly as there must be a spell that can bring the humans back to normal! And we don't know if all the naked monkeys are just summoned creatures, or transformed humans! So try not to hurt them and just make them lose the ability to fight! After that, we must find a safe place to organize ourselves!

-Hmmmmp!, I can tell you're all too amateur at war, just do this!

After hearing the anguished words of Koneko, Kiba, Akeno and Rias in that order, while complaining, Raynare said as a magic circle manifested in one of her hands which she extended to the front and an instant later a block of fire was expelled from that arcane manifestation. Raynare directed the fire in such a way that it surrounded all of them in an infernal circle, whose flames up to two meters high blocked the sight and the murderous intent of the monkeys like a wall. This was a move intended to defend themselves and restrain the monkey army.

Particularly vigorous apes tried to jump, but the height of the wall of fire was instantly tripled when Raynare snapped her fingers. Burned by the blazing flames, the apes retreated noisily with their group.

-O.o?

With confusion and a bit of surprise, the gremory group looked at the divine ancestor as they did not think she would be willing to help them, however, the said woman avoided eye contact with their eyes just as she folded her arms and raised her head, in a somewhat "Tsunsendere" attitude and body position. She then said in a somewhat frustrated and annoyed manner the following:

-And to think that I'm helping some demons *Sigh*...Hey vampire cowboy, you better get me to talk to Azzazel, or you're going to pay dearly for all this, do you understand?! I wouldn't have to help some bats with anything!

-You dare to call us bats again?!

-Obviously!

-Hey! Stop it you two, again! I told you before that as long as you tell me what you know about Samiel, I will definitely get you to meet Azzazel! But... First we have to survive this ape planet, don't you think so?!

-I don't see any objections to that. So I guess, we'll be allies for the time being. Keeping you and the nun alive is enough for me *sigh* Damn it, why did something like this have to happen to me?!

-Keeping me alive? You?, don't overestimate yourself crow girl, I can survive without your help~ So you better focus on taking care of Asia if you're going to help at all.

-You call me like that again and I swear a spear of light will fall on your as...!

-*Ooooh!... Have you noticed that many of my servants are actually the humans of this city? How clever! Then I must prepare more interesting tricks to have more fun with all of you!*

While Dante Raynare and Rias were arguing, Issei's voice was heard once more...The monkey king seemed quite cunning, but he didn't sound like he was going to attack directly. He probably thought it would be giving them too much "face" to a stock that posed no danger to him if he showed up to fight. Insects didn't deserve to be in his presence, though he might as well have fun with their desperation.

-!

While Dante was deep in thought about what the deity had planned, he suddenly looked up at a certain place in the sky when he felt a powerful presence approaching him. A presence that brought this thought out of him at that moment as he felt it was very similar to that of a certain enemy he had already faced: "It's almost as strong as that dog! Almost as strong as the King Cerberus! Even it´s aura resembles him!"

-T-Toni...I mean, Dante?. Damn, it's confusing. Is something wrong?

-'Can´t You feel it yet?'- the semi-white-haired boy seriously asked a confused Rias, who had questioned him after observing the sudden change in his facial expressions. Almost a blink later, Raynare also looked in that direction as beads of nervous sweat began to trickle down her forehead. Rias shook her head in response, so the next moment Dante clarified seriously: 'Something very dangerous is approaching, a threat that will make a fool of all these furry troops, it should be here in a few moments'.

-Everyone look up!

Hearing Akeno's anguished words, Rias and her little team plus Asia also looked up, and then they had a strong shock.

-O.O

An ape was descending from the darkness of the sky, it´s fur had a golden color, and it´s size far exceeded that of normal apes.

*Booom*-A huge sound reverberated and the ground shook as it landed. Descending on the main street of the town overlooking the church (about three dozen meters away from the boys) this monkey was taller than the cedar trees, or anything else...

...Approximately 30 to 40 meters tall, it had a very robust build, long arms and short legs, and a massive and large body that looked like that of a gorilla or an orangutan, but it was far from that primate because at first glance, although it was very similar to King Kong, it had a tail, and a head more like that of a baboon, with sharp teeth, pointed ears and bright red eyes. Its musculature was prominent and defined. So overall, the form of the giant ape did not directly resemble any existing primate species. Its appearance was practically identical to that of a certain ape from a certain series, but without resembling an animation, but rather a live-action model, quite realistic.

-ROAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR!

*HIT* *HIT* *HIT* *HIT* *HIT* *HIT* - Once the eyes of the giant primate focused on the group of youngsters, the ape released a deafening howl that threw a powerful hurricane wind everywhere as it beat its chest violently like a gorilla. The wind was so powerful that it blew small houses/other apes/cars/trees, among other things, and obviously Raynare's wall of fire was completely useless against this guy as it didn't take long for it to go out after that gust of wind reached where she and the others were. Dante and the others were able to withstand the force of the wind with relative ease, although the weaker members of the Gremory group had some difficulty. The only exception was Asia, who had to be held down by Raynare to keep her from flying away.

Seeing such a display of power, the next to open her mouth was the divine ancestor, who, while still holding Asia, said the following in anguish:

-This is not like the monkeys that tried to attack us a moment ago...It is a divine beast! A giant divine monkey beast that serves Sun-Wukong, with a strength that rivals that of the Dragon-Kings or Satans! It is extremely powerful!...Although...I don't remember it looking like that when I observed it in the past...

After that whisper, audible only to her, our hero complained to the red-eyed woman

-Raynure, that's not just any giant Monkey, it's a Ōzaru! It's a freaking Ōzaru! It's a Ōzaru in the flesh! And with golden hair, why the hell is it practically identical to the one from Dragon Ball?!

-That's right, it's identical to that cartoon created by mortals! That's why I thought the appearance of this divine beast was strange! Hmmmmm, we are in the middle of the third decade of the 21st century and That series has been on the air for almost 50 years...the thinking of human beings must have already begun to affect the "Mystery" in this authority of the Monkey-King.

-What the hell does that mean Rayrure?

-It means that the thoughts of human beings are beginning to alter the Wukong Mythos in this age! Mortals have begun to deeply associate the cartoon and animation series with the original Monkey King story!

-Eeeeh?!

-Hmmmmp!, forget it! If you can't even pronounce my name right, I don't think you understand what the "Mystery" means to the powers of a god! So don't even bother to comprehend it!

-Ah, whatever! How did this day go to shit so quickly?

At the same time she was warned by Raynare and while Raynare was fighting with the Kusanagi, Rias planned in her head the only option she could think of to survive, so when the idea came to her mind, she looked at her peerage, and said hastily

-My dear servants, this is out of our league! We have to head to the Kuoh academy right away! There is a barrier there that we can activate in case of disasters that I or Sona can't solve! It should be enough to keep us safe from that monster! Once we're there we'll have enough time to organize a countermeas...!

-ROAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR!

*Boooom*-Before the redhead finished enunciating that plan that was also heard by Dante and Raynare, things ended up getting even worse, as the earth shook immensely when another giant monkey fell from the sky, and landed in the forest next to the church, which ended up collapsing in a short time once the hurricane winds caused by its roar ceased.

-'Oh come on, as if one golden-haired Ōzaru wasn't enough! Now he's sending us another one?!~'-Despite the appearance that this slightly sarcastic comment might give, Dante just went into "serious mode", as with a stern expression he said the following while the Grigori leader's bracelet he was wearing on his left hand shone brightly with a purple glow-'I'm not going to be crushed by any King-Kong with anabolics! ~ Gary, you'd better make what you sold me worth its price!...Kalulu, The Porcelain Phantom!'-Saying that last, as if by magic, a pair of boots materialized on the Kusanagi's feet.

As it materialized, it were already placed on top of the black leather boots he was wearing. Obviously their appearance was far from that of ordinary boots, for in addition to appearing to be made of a white-colored metal, they had a few claws on the front, and possessed black metallic lines on their surface whose carving pattern resembled the skin of a snake/reptile. Not to mention, the powerful aura of those things released a familiar presence to Rias, who couldn't help but let out a question when she felt the aura of those boots...

-Is it another Devil-Arm?

Hearing her, Dante didn't answer what was obvious, since the next thing that came out of his lips in a hurried manner (when he noticed that one of the monkeys was opening its massive mouth, while the other one started walking towards them) were probably the most serious words he had given her since he met her. He spoke as he assumed a combat stance with his sword already held in both hands.

-Hey Rias! It's time for you to repay your debt to me! Get out of here and find my family! If they didn't go crazy, they should still be sleeping in my house! Or making monkeys things! What do I know?! Find them and protect them at any cost! If they attack you just hold them back, sleep them, or whatever you can think of, and take them to the academy with you! That seemed to be a good plan!

-How?...W-W-W-W-Wait...You're not thinking of facing those things on your own?!

-There's no other option, just look at that! Oy, Oy, Oy, Oy you damn monkey, that's Godzilla's thing, not King Kong's!

-By Lucifer!

-Oh, my God!

-This is going to be very bad! Can it do that too?! How much have the thoughts of humans altered this divine beast?!

*Auge* *Auge* *Auge* *Auge* *Charge* *Charge* *Charge* *Charge* *Charge* - The crisis only increased when Dante pointed the tip of his sword blade towards the ape that had opened its mouth. When Rias looked in that direction, she ended up releasing a sentence full of disbelief, which was accompanied by Asia and Raynare. After its giant companion appeared, the first "Ōzaru" had opened its huge snout, and as it did so, a red glow began to be released from the back of its throat as a shrill sound similar to a laser charging echoed throughout the place as a yellow aura of abysmal size surrounded the beast's body. The wind began to build up in that snout, which was focusing on the place where the youngsters were standing. And at the same time, it seemed that the whole city was shaking.

A moment later, the other giant monkey began to do the same.

So Dante no longer waited for any response and/or complaint the redhead or anyone else had.

-If I don't distract them, no one is going to be able to escape alive, even if you fly away! Everyone, get the hell out of here right now!

-Dante, WAAAAIT!

*Booom!* *Swhooosh!*-When Rias shouted, it was too late. Dante had already hit the ground with an insane force that left a huge crater when he broke the sound barrier causing a terrible shockwave as he charged towards one of the giant monkeys at a ridiculous speed. Curiously, in the crater he left behind, for some reason there was a layer of frost.

-Take your banana, you freakin monkey!

*Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooom* -The next instant, Dante appeared almost as if he had teleported high above the giant monkey's head, and a moment later he struck with all his might with a side kick of which Saitama would be very slightly proud the head of the beast. When the white boot of his left foot touched that small area of the huge animal's head, a massive shockwave that seemed to spread throughout the city, ended up deflecting the "Ōzaru's" head to the side as if another giant beast had given it a heavenly punch. Blood spurted immediately from the lips of the beast whose face deformed in slow motion for a moment, when it seemed to have been moderately damaged by that blow that also produced a large bruise on the spot, however the creature was able to hold on long enough to not fall to the ground, it only fell back, staggering about 10 steps backwards until it ended up regaining its balance after its back crashed against a skyscraper-like building that ended up collapsing due to all that weight.

*Freeeeze* -And the next moment, the sound of ice crystals forming was heard everywhere as a layer of frost (that had been left right in the contact zone of Dante's kick) on the monkey's head expanded in just an instant, and then completely covered the big beast's head, freezing it on the spot.

*Crash!*- However, at the next blink of an eye, the giant ape used one of his huge fists to strike the ice covering his head, and after that fist made contact, the thick layer of ice shattered into a thousand crystals of carambans.

-ROAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR!

Then, the ape looked at the Kusanagi with its piercing red eyes, and then roared with great fury as the golden aura that surrounded it and its magic power seemed to increase its strength almost double, however soon its roar would be eclipsed by another sound, for...

*Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooom!*-...Perhaps Dante's blow was not strong enough to knock him down, but it was strong enough to fulfill its main purpose. Having deflected its snout, the huge laser that came out of the ape's jaws a second after being hit was "re-directed" towards that other huge primate, with which that laser that seemed as massive as the one of the living statue "The savior" ended up making contact with the body of the other beast at the same time that a cataclysmic explosion was produced in the scene. Once that massive blast of energy was received, the second ape was sent flying hundreds of meters in the air and backwards, until its body, still alive but bruised and burned, ended up crashing into the depths of the forest, which had been severely destroyed after the initial explosion was released.

And while that happened, when the Gremory group realized that a massive explosion was about to take place, Akeno told her king with haste as she took her by the shoulders, because Rias was hesitant, she did not know whether to leave, or to help that boy who had helped her so much so far. Kiba and Koneko also tried to convince her to leave.

-Rías! Let's go! we can't do anything anymore! You can't do anything!

-B-B-B-B-B-But..!

-Buchou, we must escape right now!

-Rias-Buchou! We have to go now! Now!

-Hey devil girl, take the nun with you!

-Raynare-San?!

-How?! Are you trusting us?!

-'Just take her, she'll get in my way! For my sake, I need that cowboy to survive, so I'm staying! But don't think for a second that I'm doing this to help you!'- On the other hand, after the nekomata expressed her opinion, Raynare threw Asia into the arms of the redhead as they flew in the air, and said the above in a "Tsunsendere" way when her red eyes focused on an incredulous Rias, who with much grief and anguish, was taking flight to head in the opposite direction of this fight as fast as she could, or they would be hit by the explosion or its shockwave. Finally, without Asia in her arms, the divine ancestor complained with destiny and somehow levitated quickly towards the direction in which our hero was, because apparently the solitary wing she had on her back was useless to fly-'Damn it!, why did this happen to me?! Why?! I don't want to dieeeee!'

And so, that day...

-Survive, please.

...After Rías let out that anguished whisper when she looked sideways at that cataclysmic scene as she flew away with her bat wings at full speed, that group made up of unequal races, finally united as a team thanks to the only goal they had in mind for the moment: To Survive.

Gods, Demons, Dragons, Angels, and other creatures have been in conflict for countless generations...

...that is something that every person who knows anything about the existence of the supernatural world knows very well.

But how is it possible that all those existences of legend can coexist?

Well, the answer to that question was not simple...

She had deeply read both public and forbidden texts that spoke about the origin of the supernatural world...

...And after a few years of study, she was finally able to understand both the origin of her faction, and the origin of her existence.

For a long time, the gods and the rest of the creatures of the different mythological factions that currently coexisted did not exist in the world of humans.

The earth was a dull place, and remained so for countless generations...

...But when descendants of primates became self-aware, and gave birth to humanity, everything changed.

In time, this new species formed an extremely ancient civilization that gave birth to some individuals who were able to realize the existence of a cosmic energy known as [Mantra] or [Prana]. Energy formed when the universe originated. They used the [Mantra] in many different ways: became the first sorcerers and magicians in history, and the first demigods.

These human beings discovered that it [Mantra] was more abundant on [Gaia] than anywhere else in the cosmos. [Gaia], the world that is presently known as [Earth]. Thanks to that they had enough [Mantra] to give birth to a well-defined system of spells and magic.

That primordial civilization, was the origin of the myth of "Atlantis"...

...but this civilization did not pay much attention to how or why [Mantra] existed or how and why it was so abundant on earth...

...they simply made use of this energy for their own selfish ends, until they ended up destroying themselves.

They were unaware that the [Mantra] could increase its rate of production and/or could be shaped by the beliefs and emotions of mankind when human beings collectively directed their thoughts to the idea that the forces of nature and/or creation are controlled by a concept.

And in time, when human beings collectively thought of that concept with great adoration, they gave life to their first mental construct; without being aware of it, they gave birth to a mystical entity created by an act of imagination and will, which acquired physical consistency through the [Mantra]*3.

And that conceptual idea, they called [God].

However, the first [God] and the subsequent deities that were born thereafter, had no contact with the world of humans.

They lived in their [Myths], in their [Stories], in their [Mythological Worlds]...

...In alternate Realities born from the [World of Ideas], worlds created by the imagination of human beings.

The [World of Ideas] is a plane of existence that gave rise to the other mythological worlds and is currently known as the [Dimensional Gap, Limbo or Alaya]. It is the collective unconscious of humanity, where the ideas and characters born from humanity's imagination/worship come to life.

All those realities/dimensions were created by human beings when their thoughts managed to form a physical world instead of a physical entity.

And in those realities/dimensions, the gods were trapped in their [Myths].

Trapped in their stories.

Trapped in a "Comic Book", in a "Manga".

Continuously repeating the legends told by their believers.

Without the ability to choose other paths, to think differently, to have free will...

...This was so, until somehow the first deity to manifest in the human world, managed to escape from his/her [Myth] when he/she got tired of repeating his/her story over and over again.

Whether it was achieved by a distortion in space-time due to his/her immense power or by some other unknown alteration in the dimensional gap, the deity managed to escape his/her Legend.

So that is what a God is in this world, and universe. A "Crystallized" story that took on a life of its own, and materialized in the world of humans.

And some time later, more deities would escape from her/his [Myths].

She didn't quite understand this: it seemed absurd to her, it was as if comic book characters abandoned their comic books and appeared in the human world. And yet, here she was: she existed, although she did not know for sure how this was possible. She was the daughter of the children of the children of the children of a demon born from a goddess of hell; [Lilith].

[Lilith], just like all the other gods, managed to leave her mythological world, the [Biblical Hell], and made contact with the human world.

Ah, but [Lilith] was a [True-Goddess], not a [Heretic God] like the one she and her peerage now face.

Countless centuries ago, when a God left their myth and came to the mortal world, they would generally go mad: those personal desires that caused them to flee the [Myth] would end up distorting their mind, and their existence, which would cause them to be unable to control their powers and/or control themselves, so they would end up willingly or unwillingly desiring to destroy or reform the creatures that gave them life, the human beings. Generally...

And this is what was known as [Heretic God]...

...But nowadays this term is only used for those gods who for certain individual reasons have become psychologically and "mythologically" insane and/or who wish to bring about evil in the human world.

This is so because at a certain point in the history of this world, the [True-Gods] were able to abandon their myth without the need to become [Heretic-Gods]. They retain their unique characteristics, and their mental sanity as well as control over their powers in the human world, which is why they are called [True-Gods].

Why did this happen?

It is because, for some reason unknown to her and to everyone in general, at a certain point in history, there was a period in which little by little not only the gods came into contact with the human world, but also their [Mythological Worlds] connected with the [Earth] and the universe where it resides, forming a symbiosis of co-existence with the world and in the universe of mortals.

The Gods of the sun keep the sun alive and in perpetual apogee.

The Gods of light allow the rest of the stars to continue to shine eternally.

The Gods of darkness fill the emptiness of the universe.

The Gods of the moon will never let that celestial satellite die.

The Gods of heaven keep the cosmos alive.

The Gods of hell manage the world beyond life, and bring their punishments to sinners.

This transitional period in which the different [Gods] and [Mythological Worlds] came into "collision" with the earth, was called [The Conjunction of Sanctuarys]...

...A period lasting countless centuries, in which the existences living in the [Myths] and who were not supposed to have set foot on the [Earth], came into contact with the human world, and changed it forever, bringing with them more magic and a practically infinite supernatural world.

A world where the "Authorities" of the gods can bring salvation to Earth and the cosmos through miracles, or bring destruction.

But what are the Authorities?

They are the powers wielded by the deities. It is the supreme level magic possessed by the Gods, rivaled almost solely by the demonic power of devils categorized as [Satan], or at best, as [Super-Demons/Transcendentals Devils].

An [Authority] is born of a [Myth] or the story of a god. And it is influenced by the thinking of human beings.

An [Authority] gives a god control over some aspect of nature/universe or control over some characteristic of the [Myth] that gave it life, or gives it ridiculous bodily abilities.

It is the ability and/or magic it possesses just by virtue of existing. In each God there may be only one or several Powers/Authorities depending on how extensive and complex the deity's [Myth] is.

A storm god is able to manipulate weather and hurricanes. A fire god is capable of creating blazing flames that can incinerate everything, even all of creation. A sun god is able to produce stars at will. A god with an invincible sword will manifest a weapon capable of splitting stars like butter. A god with an invulnerable body, cannot be wounded, Etc...

...And to top it all, these powers can become stronger and more complex, depending on the degree of "Mystery" provided by the thoughts of human beings.

"Mystery" is the ability of a story to manifest and "crystallize it" into the powers of a god's authority/"to attach" to a previous authority or create a new one. The "mystery" becomes stronger with time and with the number of human beings who relate and "worship" the story or think of it with great faith: the more "mystery" a story or myth has, the more it will be able to be used by a god as an authority, as long as it is related or associated with the Myth that gave it life. In theory, it takes at least 100 years for a story/myth to have enough "mystery" to be used as a new authority or as another effect on an already established authority, but apparently this time can be shortened if hundreds of millions or billions of human beings worship the "new myth".

All these peculiarities can turn the Authorities into truly devastating powers: and if the planet Earth can withstand their power, it is not only because it is highly resistant, but also because it exerts an aura of restraint on the supernatural creatures that set foot on the planet...

...With the passage of time, the faith and worship of human beings, turned the [Earth] into a deity in itself, in whose nucleus dwells [Gaia], the very concept of a living and eternal planet; an incredibly strong Goddess, as strong as that god whom all hell fears, [Ophis].

And that is why a Demon becomes so much stronger when he/her finds himself/herself in hell. In the mythological worlds, the laws of creation and destruction, are very different from those of the human world and universe. *4

Shaking her head to stop wandering on the important matter that afflicted her, she soon returned to the main point...

...One of those divine powers, an [Authority], is what has currently thrown her territory into unprecedented chaos.

How many [Authorities] besides the one she had already seen, will Sun-wukong have?

As she recalls, in his mythology, that god is described as incredibly strong, swift, agile, resilient, immortal, with almost limitless magical powers, and possessing indestructible weapons. All of his abilities put all the gods of Taoist mythology in checkmate. He single-handedly defeated the entire celestial army of that myth, along with its leaders. It took the intervention of the greatest of all "Buddhas" to stop him

How could she stop something like that without the help of the Devil Kings?

All of the above, were the thoughts that went through Rias' head as she flew at high speed and altitude over the Kuoh city while still carrying Asia. Her expression, just like the others following her, turned bitter when they visualized from afar in the streets of the city or in the buildings that innumerable number of apes.

They were all apes, once mostly human beings.

Some went crazy, some still acted as if they were normal people in the midst of all that chaos: They walked to certain places where they still wore various clothes, carried briefcases and briefcases/backpacks and entered working areas or offices: little monkeys were taken by the hands of female apes when they crossed the streets, when they went to various children's entertainment stores, and so on.

And some others would go crazy the moment they caught a glimpse of her and her servants.

Behind her, more than 25 kilometers away, coming from that bordering area of the city and that extensive forest, terrible explosions that could well be compared to those of atomic bombs continued to be heard from time to time. Flashes of light that seemed like hellfire illuminated that horizon from time to time, in which currents of hurricane winds hit and spread through the city. For a moment she saw out of the corner of one of her eyes a mountain of ice rise out of nowhere and spread out like a glacier...

What exactly was happening there?

...She didn't know it. But definitely, Dante was still alive...

...At least, that gave her some hope. Without his help, neither she nor her servants would be alive...

...True, she would not be alive without him.

She had to return the favor no matter what, and trust that she could see him again!

To see him again, to hear and see his crazy antics, to smile at his antics, and to look at that silly smile once more...

...Well, it wasn't that silly, in fact it had its appeal...

...No, this was no time to think about that, she must concentrate on what was important...!

She would thank him again, and prove to him that she was not useless! So alone he was not to die! He had to survive! And she had to believe and trust that he would be able to do it!

With a new goal being born within her, Rias' eyes became determined as she spun in the air and sped off to a certain point in the city that she glimpsed in her memories, a certain place she discovered when she read the Kusanagi's file that Sona-Sitri brought her that day.

The address of Toni's home, soon appeared in her field of vision...

And cut!...To be continued in Secret Mission 01: Stop Son-Goku at any cost! (2)

Author's message: I hope you liked the chapter, and that my english was good, I'll try to get the next one out before the end of june, but I can't promise you an exact date either.

Best regards and stay safe!

Don't forget to check the library and the clarifications for any doubt you may have

And don't forget to leave a message. They help to get inspired, and to know if I'm doing it right, or am I missing something

Chapter Clarifications:

*1 If you want to know more about this authority for summoning monkeys, check out the "Library" section below.

*2 Why does "Phantom" appear in the dmc2 game? In the game files it is explained that the leakage of Argosax's power to the human world, was "Merging" the universe of the human world with the demonic one, and creating "distortions in space and time", altering reality itself, so Dante somehow fought the real "Phantom" in the past, or from the past "Phantom" came to the future, something like that..

*3 If you didn't understand it at all, check the concept of "Tulpa" in wikipedia, which is where I partly based it to explain the background of the gods in this story (and/or check how a servant and his Noble Phantom are created in fate-Stay-Night, which is also similar), which is not far from what is already explained in campione's novel, or rather, in its sequel, in shiniky no campione.. More backstory will appear in the following chapters of the fic. Note that to this story of the creation of the gods, I included some of the concepualt words of "Asura's Wrath", but it doesn't mean that I'm going to make another crossover with that franchise, I just took fun references.

*4 The power level of the characters in divine class of this story will be the [Canonical] for the DMC franchise (understand by "canonical", those descriptions said by the creators of the Game and/or Capcom, or the feats of Dante in the novel 2, not what was shown in the game, except for the "legendary battle" in dmc1, which by low budget and the limitations of the age, could not be as epic as the battle between Chakravartin and Asura: 'V), which can become "Planetary/Star/Solar System/Galaxy/Multi-Galaxy/Universal/Multi-Universal/Multi-Universal/¿Multiversal? according to Kamiya in dmc1 and Itsuno and capcom in the later ones...

... However, to avoid in 99% of the occasions descriptions of fights destroying planets/stars/galaxies or universes/dimensions, I have placed "Gaia's restriction" to the story, to avoid getting into trouble and exaggerations, and also with that I wanted to give a reference to the lore of DMC in which it is said that Mundus/Urizen/Argosax, etc.. blow universes and that a demon is stronger in hell, and explain why Dante in the human world of his home world (there is also Gaia in Earth 1, I will expose that later) didn't have as visually destructive capabilities with his DT/SDT.

The rest of the details about this background, and about how the characters' strength works in mythological worlds and on earth will come later.

Library:

Classification of the deities:

Low class: deities with more than one of their attributes in category C or B-. Sometimes they are called minor gods or subordinate gods. They possess problematic authorities, but most of it are usually weak authorities.

Middle Class: Deities with only two of their attributes in the C or B- category. They possess at least one or two powerful authorities.

High Class: Deities with most of their statistics in category B and/or A. With numerous authorities, many of them extremely powerful, and may have at least one or more in "EX" rank. However, there are exceptions where middle or lower class gods may also have authorities in EX rank.

Divine-Kings: Unparalleled rulers. Deities with the highest stats, and with more than one authority or physical stats in "EX" rank. Ophis, Great-Red, Mundus, Argosax, Shiva, Pluton, Indra, are some examples of these gods. Some are stronger than others, but confronting them is impossible if the character is not an existence that is also considered absurd...or if he/she doesn't have a luck level as the charachter "King" in One-Punch-Man.

Divine Beast: Many gods and goddesses have spirits that serve them in the form of animals/plants/other things, and these beings are known as Divine Beasts. They often act as messengers of the deity, carrying their will, and act as symbols of the god's power.

Divine Beasts vary greatly in power. While they are all powerful, some are more powerful than others. Generally a Divine Beast will always be as strong as a supreme class demon, and may be as strong as a middle class deity.

Some Divine Beasts, mainly those that are manifestations of the true god or heretic god they serve, such as the various incarnations a god may have, wield enough power to rival high class gods or even divine kings. Some of these Divine Beasts even have their own Authority/Authorities. Only the latter, which are considered incarnations of the deity, can be considered a god and not a servant of a god, so if a human being slays them, they could become a "Campione/Nephalem"

A divine beast will always carry the "divinity" attribute in its combat stats, even if they are divine beasts with demonic appearances and/or in their myth they were described as demons created or born of a god of hell, such as King Cerberus/Original Cerberus, which Dante faced. However, the children of a divine beast (such as the lesser Cerberus of Earth 1 (like teg-me-ni-gru cerberus), children of the original Cerberus) will not inherit "Divinity", and will be demons only. And in the case of a non-beast type demon created by a god of hell, it will not be categorized as a divine beast or a demi-god even if it was born of an "Authority", for a "demon" does not possess "Divinity", but "Malignity". These paradoxical characteristics of the authorities of infernals gods and evil divine beasts from hell, will be explained in another time.

Sun-Wukong Authority Revealed: [Monkey King]-Rank B

This is an authority of the Chinese deity Sun-Wukong, reflecting his history/myth as ruler of all apes and primates that exist or may exist on earth or in his mythological world.

The authority has the following effects/abilities:

1) It allows the deity to summon/create an army of magically/mass-created apes, whose number of troops can become unlimited. The strength of these apes will vary from E+ to D rank.

2) Allows him to summon very powerful Ape-Divines-Beasts, the Ōzaru. Said Ōzaru will have variations in their power levels, depending on how enraged they become. Their base combat stats are that of a Demon-King like Serafall/Dragon-King like Tannin (Rank C), but their magical power can become as strong as a "low-mid class" deity, so the "Magic Cannons" released from their snouts can reach a C+ rank of power, depending on how angry they are. It is not known for certain how many Ōzaru the Monkey King is capable of creating at the same time, but they certainly must not be few.

2.1) It is worth noting the following: "Ōzaru" means "Great Ape" in Japanese, so it is not a term only used in DB. In the past, obviously long before the birth of the DB franchise, Sun-Wukong's "Ōzaru" could not release "magic cannons", and had an appearance virtually identical to a giant gorilla, however, Earth-2 humans have associated the appearance and characteristics of the giant apes of DB-DBZ-DBGT to the Sun-Wukong mythos, by confusing and associating the two stories whenever they think of the name "Son-Goku", causing the "Mystery" of that story to "attach" to one of the powers possessed by the Monkey King.

2.1.1) This "Mystery" is not yet strong enough to bestow all the characteristics of a super-saiyan Ōzaru on Sun-Wukong's divine Beast, so compared to the past, this divine beast has only changed its appearance, has acquired the ability to release "Magic Cannons" from its muzzle, and can become slightly stronger when enraged. If this heretic Sun-Wukong lived long enough for DB's "Mystery" to "adhere" to his authority more strongly...Well, maybe his divine beasts could fly/become stronger by surviving a mortal fight/talk/ lose strength or disappear when their tails are cut off, etc...Human beings' thinking in gods' powers can be both an advantage and a disadvantage, and on many occasions tremendously strange...

2.1.2) A [True god] will generally avoid using a new authority that would alter or modify his/her personality or mythos to any great extent or make him an abomination or something very different from what he/she is, preferring to "discard" the power or not accede to it. They keep that authority or variant of the authority inactive, as for example: the Lancer class Servant Vlad-Tepes of the nasuverse/Fate Apocrypha who will refuse to use/activate his Noble Phantasm "Dracula" because he hates it, so that power while he does not use it will only be a "Potential Ability". On the other hand a [Heretic God] doesn't usually mind using something that distorts his/her history, as long as it makes him/her stronger.

3) Allows Sun-Wukong to transform (in a specific area of his choosing, from a large island extension to a multi-continental expanse) all humans and/or other creatures with magic resistance below rank D into various Apes. These beings, once transformed into Apes, will become members of his army, if Sun-wukong so desires. And in turn, their basic combat stats can be raised by up to three [+++], depending on the combat potential the ape-transformed creature has had.

4) Allows him to control the will of any normal ape and/or almost any magical ape-like creature in existence. He could even go so far as to control a god in the guise of an ape or the ape-like incarnation of some deity, as long as his magic resistance was below the rank of this authority.

Kalulu, The Porcelain Phantom/Kalulu: Apparently a metallic boots-type Devil-Arm, which increases the strength in its user's legs and feet, as well as the speed he/she can reach with his/her feet. The boots also appear to be able to release/produce magic ice at will. When more information is available on this demonic weapon, its profile will be updated. (Author's note: DA inspired by the weapon called "Odette" from the "Bayonetta" video game franchise, and DXD's canonical "artificial SG, called Procellarum-Phantom).

Reviews:

ARSLOTHES:

Hey, thanks for leaving your message :)...

...And about your doubts...I guess you didn't read the warnings I left in chapter 1, and neither the "Library" in chapter 2, did you?: Dante lost his demonic powers permanently since he was reborn as a human being; his wish was to "live a normal life with a loving family" before he died and with that, his demonic powers divided his existence in two parts as Urizen and "V". The demonic side of Dante therefore ended up dying, and his human side was the one that was reborn; although he retained certain reminiscences of when he was a devil, as his physical strength, his [mind's eye], among other things: However, the diabolical sword [Dante] is not quite dead, but I prefer not to give you that spoiler, I can only tell you that when Dante "invokes" the "human side" of that sword, he will be a little pleasantly surprised. The objective of this story is to differ from other fics in aspects such as the origins of Dante's powers (among other things): if he is to become as strong as he was before, he will have to kill gods, and steal their powers. And maybe if he kills a god who has an incarnation in a "demon god with an demonic aparience". maybe Dante can get a divine versión of his DT back, if he gets that "incarnation".

I hope this didn't disappoint you too much, and if so, I'm sorry.

Best regards and Have a nice week!

SolSparda369:

thanks for leaving your message :). Certainly a DT could have been useful for him; Samiel is the answer to the lack of a DT for dante, you'll read about it; he'll get powers very similar to the ones he had, sometimes better and sometimes interestings. glad to know that dante's defeat didn't seem disproportionate hehe

Anyway, I hope you liked this chapter too.

Have a great week!

Trueopulence:

First of all, if you are another reader reading this response to this review, I recommend you not to read it, as it has several spoilers:

Trueopulence: Wow, man! thanks for leaving your message, I'm so glad to know that you are interested in the story :)...now well, solving most of your doubts...

...Like you saw in this chapter, I'm using a canon of my own, altered so that DMC, DXD and Campione can coexist. But in essence, it's a "mediation" between the DXD canon and Campione's canon, more similar to the canon of the gods in Campione's sequel, [Shiniki no Campiones], than anything else. In this story, as in [Shiniki no Campiones] due to a certain situation (related with Madame Aisha like in the sequel, which I will explain later) all the mythological worlds of all mythologies, were connected to the mortal world ( It´s like a version of the world of [Shiniki no Campiones] were Aisha did not ruin everything, which I will explain later), allowing the true gods to "descend" to the mortal world without becoming heretic gods, however they can still become heretic gods due to situations like: not accepting themselves for what they are/wanting to be something else, hating "such a story" that was included for them, etc...

...So the gods in this story are still born from the thoughts of human beings, and can be affected by these thoughts, although I will leave this influence on the "true gods" at a level a bit lower than the campioneverse, to make them more like a nasuverse servant who in some cases can decide whether to use certain newly acquired "Noble phantams" (authority) or refuse to use it because it represents something they don't agree with, or something that would end up making them an abomination. As for example, Vlad Tepes of the nasuverse...

...and in that sense, the definition of heretic god in this fic changed, and it used mostly to refer to a god who "went mad" psychologically speaking and in other cases, agreed to become something he/she detested. And of course, another change in this fic is that when a god dies, instead of returning to his/her "myth" (which would be the mythological world, like hell), they will be reborn in an uncertain amount of time in their mythological world/myth... ...among other changes, like the caracteristics of Divine ancestors...

...Look, I will dedicate more chapters to explain this canon little by little, so this chapter is just a summary of what I plan for the canon/lore of this story.. about the excalibur swords; yes, you have a point there, and precisely because of that, I'll advance you that in this story, there is no an Arthur member of vali team, I'll change him for another character from [Campione] and Lefay I'll turn into an OCC, with no relation with king Arthur; neither there is a royal family from England related to mythological "king" Arthur; and much less exists the sword "Excalibur" that you know from DXD, if I mentioned that sword, or rather, "swords" in chapter 4, it was to keep in mind that there will be a sub-plot related to some swords that the church calls "Excaliburs" for some reason, but these names are not the real name of that "sword" in this fic, they were only given that name for a reason that you will read later. That said, the legend of King Arthur in this story was also originated by certain fanatic gods of the king that manifests at the end of the Ages (which here is not Rama), but the time will come when I will explain it...

The dxd top 10 as you said, doesn't apply to this story: a campione can beat almost any god as long as he/she plays his/her "cards" right, however I have my own list of the strongest beings, which will be quite versatile.

I still don't know what to do with Vasco Strada, I guess I'll leave him as one of the strongest humans, or maybe the strongest; he would be able to physically face my version of [campiones] in this story, but once they use an authority, vasco would be defeated effortlessly.

Actually, Ophis and the chaos brigade are already "recruiting" campiones, but they just either ignored them and/or are lost and/or prefer to be independent and/or one is a "friend" of ophis :V, I'll explain that later.

Yes, SG users can be exluded by the [Campione] system created by a certain goddess in this story (which is not pandora), but since they are still mortals, they can still become champions: as long as they don't use their sacred gear to defeat the god...which is paradoxical...The time will come when I will explain what a SG really is, and how it works with the system of usurpation of authorities.

I just explained how the gods manifest in the world without creating disasters; in shiniky no campiones, the disaster was brought by the sanctuarie, more than by the god...although here there was never the disaster of the "collapse" or the mixture of "the final story" of the shrine, with the consequences on earth, only the mythological world was "connected" with the earth, and later the mythological world was able to create its own story, without repeating its [myths] over and over again (in certain point of the history the sanctuaries were connected with mortal realm, withouth apocaliptic consecuencies by the intervention of certain noble and Divine Big -red-dragón. Later, the [myth] in the sanctuaries was "stopped", and the sanctuaries/mythological worlds began to have their own "history" without an absolute influence of the thoughts of human beings, and then, the sanctuary "entrances" were sealed or "hidden" from mortal existence to prevent modern humans from knowing of the existence of the supernatural world)

About DXD's magic, Sirzech and demonic power in general, it´s better if you read it when i expose that, but it will definitely not be the same as what you know from DXD,

The relations between true gods and heretic gods in this story are like the relations a normal person would have with a person with a severe case of schizophrenia: either you stay away from he/her, or you take him/her to a psychiatrist, or you give him/her "medicine", or you "lock" him/her up (seal), if you can't get away from him/her or if he/she is a danger to others and you can't kill him/her (well that last one shouldn't happen in the real world :V).

As you will see, I will be making a lot of changes in the dxd lore, so don't think that I will be keeping the things that can't be related to campione, or that simply prevent me from creating a canon where it coexists with dxd and DMC, like the case of the excalibur swords and the royal nobility of inglatera, at least for the story I have in mind.

Finally, I won't touch much the time travel theme, except for a small saga almost at the end of this story: that thing about Gasper traveling in time, and Issei's sons coming to help, etc... I don't plan to include it. I still haven't thought things through about the youkai: I think they would be some kind of "demigods": the only "Youkai" I have a plan for at the moment is Yasaka, whose real name in this fic is "Tamamo no mae" a true goddess who has an "incarnation" of a fox with 9 tails.

I hope I've cleared up most of your doubts; i tried to give you as few spoilers as possible. I know it won't be perfect, but, I think it will be more believable, than if I just said "they coexist, because they are alike".

Best regards and have a nice week!
