Secret Mission 01: Stop Son-Goku at any cost! (End)

-"Guaaaah!"-Toni couldn't help but let out a continuous moan of pain from the moment he activated the magic on the 'mirror' he was holding in his hands at the moment. He forced himself to endure the perpetual suffering that every fiber of his being was feeling. Despite his absurd resistance to that sensation, he was still suffering severely from the consequences of using a divine armament that was not 'tuned' to be used by mortal hands. Ever since that abomination had been 'born' from the mirror to then follow his orders, he felt as if all his skin, muscles, bones, and organs were burning in hell. An inferno that he was only able to endure thanks to all his superhuman characteristics: 'Definitely an ordinary human being would inevitably die using this thing': he thought for a moment, before focusing all his attention, and remaining strength on the 'sealing' of Sun-Wukong and the red dragon.

Upon learning that, and after noticing that he was very tired from using [Lady] and everything else he had already done, Rias, Akeno and Yuuto tried to convince him to use the 'grimoire' instead, but he soon explained to them that only he or in another case, Raynare could use this thing, as his 'benefactor' made those conditions very clear. If anyone else used it, the 'grimoire' would be summoned back to that person immediately. Hearing that, Rías had no more doubts about the identity of that 'benefactor', but obviously she wasn't going to ask any more questions: what mattered was that the 'grimoire' did its job.

Sweat soon drenched Toni as if he had bathed in it, and his breaths became more irregular by the second as he watched those two titans slowly being pulled towards the mirror by the strength and abilities of a creature that could not be understood by mortal minds...

-Damn, they are managing to resist!

...But despite putting every bit of himself into using that evil artifact, Ddraig and Wukong were not immediately dragged away by the abomination. Toni felt that they would definitely not be able to break free from the grip of those 'tentacles'; that was told to him as a kind of 'whisper' coming from some kind of consciousness that possessed that 'mirror', but at the rate he was going he would run out of magic power before he managed to lock them in, and without magic power the unholy artifact in his hands could not work. And to top it off, he was so tired that he could no longer 'summon' his demonic boots or use [Lady]'s BXB as an 'external' source of magic as it had deactivated and gone into 'hibernation' a while back.

Nor was it feasible to unseal the sword on his back to use it as another 'source', the 'evil spirit' in that sword could go crazy having the presence of such a powerful dragon so close; So he was in check, and could only pray for a miracle as he continued to give his all to seal those two gods as fast as possible...

...However, that miracle, which he doubted would happen, would soon arrive in a way he did not expect...

- "You're too tired! Aren't you?!"-Rias quickly understood the situation as she noticed the state of the Kusanagi's body plus the noticeable decrease of power in his magical aura. So even though the semi-white-haired boy shook his head (plus a painful groan) an instant later, his exhaustion was obvious. And that's why after making a decision that apparently managed to bring out an embarrassed expression on that demonic face, she left her seat and ran to his side and then...

-"What are you doing?!...Hmmmmmmmmm...?...!"-...She remove his unnecessary oxygen mask (which was already useless, given the low altitude they were at) with the intention of kissing him a moment later, which obviously confused the boy in many ways.

Soon Rias' semi-diabolic appearance disappeared as her lips and tongue played with those of the bewildered Toni. He would admit that definitely in that fully human form he no longer had that 'rejection' feeling from the kiss, but still he couldn't understand the purpose of such an act, so he tried to push her away from him, while still holding the mirror...

-'S-S-S-S-S-Stop resisting, I-I-I-I-I don't like this at all myself! B-B-B-B-But you're running out of magic, and this is the only spell I K-K-K-K-K-know to 'introduce' magic power into someone else. So I'm giving you some of my demonic power to get this over with once and for all! I'm not kissing you because I think it's the last chance I'll have to kiss you before we die or something. We're not in a movie!'-...Nevertheless, Rias 'forced' him to continue kissing her harder when she placed her hands around his neck and head with the intention of not letting him go. At the same time, Toni could hear her thoughts.

Thoughts that became somewhat contradictory when a playful idea crossed the boy's mind: He thought that maybe they would die, and because that, Rias was saying goodbye to her 'secret love' before she died or something like that. Though more than thoughts, the Kusanagi would swear that he was actually 'feeling' and 'listening' to her heart, for something very strong told him that this 'negativity and rejection' were not quite true. That was probably an effect of the spell.

In any case, soon Toni felt a familiar power coursing through his body. The demonic power reached his 'spiritual core and spiritual veins', filling the 'sea' of magic that had been about to dry up, with an unholy magical power that would obviously have consequences on his human body, but would at least serve to end this once and for all.

When Rias felt that she had given him enough magic, given the amount of 'corrupted' veins appearing on the boy's body, she turned away from him, and looked to another side, avoiding he noticed the color of her cheeks...

- "Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!"-...Though obviously, the ex-sparda was still focusing almost all of his attention on the enemies in the distance, so he didn't notice that. With a battle cry in between, he channeled every bit of that extra magical power he had received, and then the huge dragon, and the humanoid monkey were pulled faster towards his direction.

-HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMP!

-Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmp!

And those two would probably have hurled very diverse and terrible 'curses', complaints, threats and insults at him if their mouths/muzzles had not been covered by the tentacles shortly after they were grabbed by the abominable creature, Which not long after would fulfill its function.

The first to enter that mirror as if it were a phantom zone was the monkey king, whose gaze focused on the ex-sparda (before being sealed) had probably been the most hate-filled look he had ever given anyone. And the second to enter was the legendary Welsh dragon, whose body was sucked into the mirror as if it were a black hole; anything too big to enter the crystal was 'distorted': it was 'spaghettified/smaller': unlike Wukong, Ddraig's eyes were full of bewilderment when he looked at the Kusanagi and his companions before being introduced into the mirror: he probably did not understand how such 'humble' creatures had managed to trap him and the monkey king.

Having 'completed' the mission, they let out words full of joy; Rias even jumped for a moment, Until she saw that something had gone terribly wrong, for one last tentacle was about to enter the crystal: and that tentacle was holding what appeared to be a red gauntlet.

-That's...oh no!

-Is that Issei-Kun's Sacred-Gear?!

-Dante stop that 'Grimoire' right now!

-I tried, it won't obey me! Don't absorb that! Don't absorb that, you brainless octopuse!

But despite the complaints of the 'master' of the mirror, the creature did not obey, because as a last act before introducing itself into the mirror, it dragged with it that red gauntlet that we all know very well: The Boosted-Gear.

And that could only mean one thing for them...

...that Issei, now lying peacefully face up in the middle of that crater, was going to die.

From the distance, leviting above one of the small hills that formed part of the relief to which Mount Asashi belonged, and which fortunately had not yet been destroyed, A woman witnessed the scene that had occurred just a few moments ago with such disbelief, that she almost thought her eyes were about to pop out of their sockets.

-"They did it!, Those damned sons of the devil did it!"-Saying that with another 'leave' of disbelief, Raynare closed her mouth open, and smiled pleasantly, as she watched that helicopter (which had returned to a normal form for some reason) landed near a massive crater, and then watched the figure of a red-haired woman get out of that vehicle along with the figure of that crazy boy.

They seemed to be in a hurry to get to the side of that young reincarnated demon, and were closely followed by the other two 'people' who had accompanied them.

They couldn't have known that in choosing 'Ddraig' as a target for the 'thing' in the mirror, they had also chosen to 'target' the Boosted-Gear; for Ddraig was still part of that mystical armament.

They had thought that the red dragon (in some way they could not even imagine) had revived and escaped from the sacro-apparatus, so Toni didn't hesitate to use it against that dragon.

So Toni's feeling of guilt was the worst of all of them when he arrived at his friend's side together with Rias. Thinking that because of him, he had once again lost a person close to him, he felt as terrible about himself as in his past life when such things happened to people who tried to get close to him.

Again tragedy repeating itself in this new life of his that he had acquired without 'meaning to'.

All he could do when he reached his friend's side was to put on a bitter expression as he placed one of his hands comfortingly on Rias' shoulder beside him, who had begun to shed tears as she expected the worst. Both had knelt down to get a closer look at the brown-haired boy.

Soon, Yuuto and Akeno arrived at their side, only to see the worst scenario just like them. Soon, They had begun to examine the body of the reincarnated devil with the intention of confirming his death.

Toni wouldn't take long to carry the cold and short of breaths/palpitations body, to later suggest to take it to the Kuoh city, and give it a 'proper' burial despite it being a devil. And the devils didn't disagree too much with that idea. So with crestfallen heads in between they loaded Issei body into the helicopter; properly settled him on the floor of the aircraft, and set off for Kuoh, with 'Dante' being the pilot again.

No jokes left Toni's lips at all times, his eyes continually looking straight ahead to avoid looking at the saddened boys. At all times, Rias held one of her deceased family member's hands as she whispered on a few occasions, "This was my fault"...

-!

...Or at least it was, until she apparently realized something important.

-His pieces! His evil pieces haven't returned to me! They haven't returned to me! They would have had to come back to me if he were dead, wouldn't they Akeno?!

-Eeeeh. Yeah...I guess. That's how they work when a reincarnated devil dies, isn't it?

-"Rias...?"-Without understanding very well what she was referring to, and why her face seemed to have an illuminated expression: from the pilot's seat, Toni asked the Gremory with confusion, but she didn't pay much attention because at this moment she made a small magic circle appear and cast its light on Issei-Hyodou's body. This light then projected a kind of hologram on the scene, which began to show the internal organs of the brown-haired boy as if it were a very specialized x-ray vision.

And then, after a few minutes examining the body, the revelation.

-He is still alive!

A revelation that she didn't fully understand, but that even so had made her and the rest of them very happy.

Although Toni tried to be a little more cautious with that analysis, because he was used to good news that end up being in reality bad news, or facts that soon end up being wrong.

-Are you completely sure, Rias? You haven't made a mistake? I'm not saying it, as if I didn't want him to be alive, eh.

-I know what you mean, don't worry! He's alive! His heart is beating very slowly, and his breathing is too shallow, but he's still alive!

-"Eh? Have you confirmed it? You're 100% sure? couldn't it be the case that he's actually about to die?!"-Not that he was trying to ruin the moment, but Toni had to make sure that this 'analysis' of she wouldn't end up disappointing him and the others even more. That it would only give them hope, and then slap it away.

-I'm not wrong! I'm sure of it! He is alive! I have already checked his spiritual core, it is slightly 'torn' but not broken! Hopefully, he can recover in a week or two!

-"Ooook?... "-Toni didn't quite understand the redhead's words, but he guessed they were a very good thing. So the next moment he turned his head to focus his attention on her as he smiled sincerely at her-"I guess that's good news for the pervert boy! He'll be able to keep spying women in the academy's bathroom~"

-Sorry to interrupt you, but...Buchou, do you have any idea how that's possible? If a Sacred-gear user 'lost' his SG, Isn't he supposed to die?

-I wish I could answer your question Kiba, but I don't have the slightest idea why he's still alive.

At the time they couldn't have known that the [Amrita] that Wukong used indiscriminately on Issei's body had 'spiritually' strengthened him enough to resist the 'steal' of his SG, since [Amrita] was supposed to have turned his body and soul in something that have to be 'immortal'.

Wich that would obviously keep them confused for a long time, until someone knowledgeable enough about SG examined the body of the brown-haired boy. But for the moment, all that would be a mystery. A mystery that made the group of young people very happy, who soon arrived Higashikawa cit in the airship flying over it. This city was the closest city to Mount Asashi, just 40-50 km from that mountain.

From the heights they could see a chaos rocking in the streets of the city: streets with people still turned into monkeys, and with others acquiring human appearances from one moment to another, which seemed to indicate that the magic of Sun-Wukong's authority was finally wearing off.

Those humans who had regained their real appearance were running in panic from the monkeys and/or trying to get into their vehicles to escape and/or causing traffic everywhere; not to mention that they looked quite terrified by the scene they saw in the distance, coming from Mount Asashi, which from their perspective, had an enormously wide smoke rising to the skies, not to mention that once in a while it spewed incandescent rocks, but fortunately, that reaction was only because it had lost a portion of its volcanic vent, so it would not actually erupt or release all its contained lava, since that would not take long to cool down. Maybe for a while the people of this city would have to get used to a Kilawea-type volcano, but as long as no one got too close to it, these villagers should be safe.

-'The mission was a success. S-rank definitely~'-Toni thought with a hint of sarcasm after having driven through two skyscrapers in the big city. A slight smile appearing on his face as he saw more villagers returning to normal.

Now they just had to get to Kuoh, and eat some pizzas as a celebration...

*[Booost]*

-!

...Regrettably, tha end of this calamity hadn´t been as simple as that.

*[Booost]**[Booost]**[Booost]*

-"!"-After hearing that sound for the second time, with beads of sweat running down their foreheads, Toni and the rest turned their heads towards the source of the sound, and then they could hardly believe what they saw, and felt.

The mirror that had been sealed in those black bandages after having been used, was now 'vibrating' and radiating a green aura that was gradually growing as that sound seemed to be emitted by the bandage-wrapped artifact. That aura that was filtering through that thing, felt like it was a combination of the one exerted by the monkey king, and the welsh dragon...

*[Booost]**[Booost]**[Booost]**[Booost]**[Booost]*

- "Rias..."-Stirring her out of the trance in which the scene had left her (for she was horrified by the idea that was running through her head. Horrified along with everyone else at the possibility of 'it' happening), Toni listened to his instincts as he said the following hurriedly-"Throw that thing! Throw that thing as far away as you can and turn this helicopter back into a hell ship!"-As he finished speaking, every second, the sounds of *[Boost]* only increased as that green aura grew and grew-"We're going to Kuoh immediately! To that barrier! It will be our only chance!"-Said that, the Kusanagi 'stepped' the throttle to the maximum of the helicopter at the same time that the Gremory listened to him with haste.

She wouldn´t take almost no time to throw the 'mirror' wrapped in bandages as far as she could while her expression was filled with fear.

*[Booost]**[Booost]**[Booost]**[Booost]**[Booost]**[Booost]**[Booost]**[Booost]**[Booost]**[Booost]**[Booost]**[Booost]**[Booost]**[Booost]**[Booost]**[Booost]**[Booost]**[Booost]**[Booost]**[Booost]**[Booost]**[Booost]**[Booost]**[Booost]*

Then, after that sound was emitted by the mirror for who knows how many times before falling to the city's ground while Rias evoked all her concentration and demonic power to transform the helicopter again...

-...*Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooom!*-...A cataclismic explosion similar to that of an atomic bomb spewing green energy suddenly occurred in the place where the mirror had fallen, which soon became fragments of crystals that flew towards all possible directions as if it were the 'Shikon' pearl

The shock wave of that explosion of immense green aura would have hit the airship, if the fear of death had not awakened again in Rias that state of diabolical 'transformation'. Thanks to that, she was able to alter the helicopter in time for them to overcome the speed of that terrible shock wave that spread through almost the entire metropolis, annihilating without a doubt more than 80% of the people who had lived there.

-!

And after that, the worst fear of all those present was fulfilled. Although in a way that they had never expected.

For the next thing they saw emerging from the hughe curtain of smoke, and now heading towards them, was the image of a 'man' wrapped from head to toe in a red armor from whose back a pair of draconic wings sprouted.

-You've got to be kidding m...!

-*Craaaaaaaash!*-Toni was not even able to finish articulating that sentence, because unfortunately his body didn´t respond as quickly as his [Mind's Eye]: An ability that allowed him to see in slow motion how that 'man' easily surpassed the speed of the demonic helicopter, to later place himself in front of it. And after that, the aircraft collided with him, and as if it were an immovable wall, he did not move a single centimeter after the front of the demonic aircraft was destroyed in an instant. Omniman would be proud of such a scene.

After that, the 'man' extended one of his hands to the front and grabbed the Kusanagi's 'throat'

On the other hand, the other passengers of that airship, injured a bit after the crash, were already getting out of the airship, and flying around him thanks to their demonic wings. With Akeno carrying the unconscious brown-haired boy.

-Toni!

-Toni-Kun!

-Dante! ...Let him go, whoever you are!

-"In a moment I'll take care of you little cockroaches!"-The one inside the red dragon armor spoke in a slightly distorted voice thanks to the use of the red helmet just before Toni warned his comrades:

- "G-G-G-G-Go away! S-S-S-S-S-Sscape with I-I-I-Issei to Kuoh!...Aghhs!"-Putting on a force that would not kill him instantly, but enough to prevent him from articulating words properly while restraining him, the 'man' on the red armor increased slightly his hand force at that neck.

-"Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!"-But despite the warning, it was too late because with just a horizontal movement of his free hand, the 'man in red' provoked a gust of wind so powerful, that it sent all the demons flying far away from there; some of them crashed into buildings, breaking through one or more walls in the process.

- "Now then, since we're alone...!"-After 'remove the flies ' away from his prey, the 'man' in the red armor, made his helmet disappear, thus revealing the appearance of his head. He was the monkey king!, Who was looking at Kusanagi face to face with eyes filled with so much killer instinct, that it could almost be tangible that feeling! -"That a mere mortal has locked me up for more than 120 years in an impure dimension where day after day I had to fight for my life against that abomination...An abomination that forced me to merge with the 'Boosted-Gear' in order to escape!...It's something for which I'm not only going to kill you!... "-Sadism could be observed in the smile that the monkey king had just formed-"...I will crush your bones, sever your flesh, tear off your limbs, rob you of every power you are proud of, and before you die I will force you to watch your 'little friends' turn into bloodstains before your eyes!"

Perhaps the only other time the monkey king had found himself so furious, was after escaping from a cauldron in which the Taoist gods tried to cook him in their mythological world: in that cauldron in which they 'boiled' him for months, to try to extract all his 'immortalities' by trying refining what will left of his body into magic pills; but even then he had managed to escape, and on this occasion, it was no exception. Unfortunately on this occasion, the 'cauldron' had a guardian powerful enough to prevent his escape. An escape that might have been easier with Ddraig's help, but unfortunately Ddraig had disappeared into that 'nightmare mirror world' as he had returned to the [Boosted-Gear] as that armament did not have a user to wield it, and provide it with magic. So after much thought, the Monkey King had to use [One with All/All In One], one of his most dangerous authorities that allow him to 'fuse' with almost anything...*1

-"...He"-...And if the monkey king was already incredibly furious, his anger only increased when he realized that the human being he had grabbed by the neck, instead of fearing for his life, or being impressed by his 'glorious appearance', was just smiling smugly. Inviting him to do as he pleased.-"I-I-I-I-f you're L-L-L-Looking for me to scream or b-b-b-beg for my life, I'm g-g-g-going to disappoint you. I'm so u-u-u-used to idiots with dialogue as basic as yours. So-go a-a-a-a-ahead, you filthy monkey."-Saying that, Toni took one of his pistols at his waist, and shot straight into one of Wukong's eyes.

*Bounce!*-Which would end up being useless, since the scarce magic deposited in that shot, could not hurt the monkey king at all. If in his best condition, Toni could barely create a scratch in him the other day, in his current condition with practically no magic and now the monkey using Issei's sacred gear, anything he did would be like trying to attack a rhinoceros with a stone made of rubber, or with a blade made of plasticine. And in fact, Toni was no longer even able to perceive wukong´s aura: With the 'Boosted-Gear' on his side, His power was so immense that Toni senses could no longer grasp it. It was as if a creature from a 3-dimensional world was trying to comprehend a being from a 4-dimensional world. 'Perhaps he was even as strong as Urizen?': He thought for a moment. However, despite coming to that conclusion, and knowing that this would be the end of him, Toni wasn't going down without a fight: even if his 'fight' was so unproductive. He also had to admit that it made him happy to know that the monkey king had had to fight for such a long time in a dimension where time was apparently very different from the mortal world.

- "Kisamaaaaaaaa!"-After hearing toni´s words, the monkey king went crazy with anger and tried to make him eat his words at all costs: that boy kept hurting his pride and ego. How was it possible for a mortal not to fear his divine glory? Unacceptable.

*Doooon!* *Dooooon!**Doooon!* *Dooooon!* *Dooooon!*-Saying that, Wukong hit the Kusanagi's body in multiple times. With just the tip of one of his fingers, he broke bones in toni´s right arm, in his chest, in his legs, in his face...Severe lacerations and blood soon covered the entire body of the semi-white-haired boy.

*Palpitation**Palpitation**Palpitation!*-And while that was happening, 'Dante' felt how the sword on his back 'called out' to him. As it´s aura tried to come out from that sheath used to seal it. 'Give me your life and I will give you the victory'...He thought he heard for a moment the 'evil spirit' of the sword whispering those words to his heart, again. Currently, he no longer saw any inconvenience in losing his life at the cost of victory, but Wukong wouldn't let him move. Besides having grabbed his neck, it seemed that somehow the deity's aura was preventing him from making any movement. Maybe Wukong didn't want to hear another word from him, or see that arrogant smile.

*Doooooon!* *Dooooon!**Doooon!* *Dooooon!*-The torture would continue for about one minute approximately, until the monkey king was annoyed to notice that even with that he was not causing considerable pain to the boy.

-No Scream eh?! So how about now I steal what you're most proud of?!

-Aaaaah!

*Crunch!*-The next moment, one of Wukong's hands entered the Kusanagi's body, though it didn't pierce it as such, but seemed to become intangible for an instant as it pierced his skin. And then the ex-sparda screamed with a little more pain as he felt something being ripped out of him from deep within; as if something deeply anchored to his body, his nervous system and his soul was being ripped out, which he had to admit was more painful than the physical pain. Toni forced himself not to give him the satisfaction of a scream, so he gritted his teeth and held on until Wukong withdrew his hand in which there was now some kind of strange sword, which was somehow trying to re-introduce itself into the Kusanagi's body at the same time that a mystical looking light was being released from its blade towards Wukong, Slowly. Despite feeling that little by little 'something' was being stolen from him, Toni was widely surprised to see that strange looking sword, which looked all too familiar, but at the same time very different from the sword he once 'Forged' from himself in that other life. And with his senses collapsing, he didn't have much time to think about the meaning of the scene. A scene that would not take long to leave Wukong as confused as furious:

- Why can't I steal this power easily?! Eeeeh!? why is your 'core' a sword?! You are not a god of 'steel', or a 'steel son', you are a mere human being! You shouldn't have such a thing inside you! *2

*Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooom!*-The deity's cries would never be answered as someone Toni didn´t expect to see would appear unexpectedly. The next moment, A giant spear of light would explode near them, releasing a pristine and incredibly intense white light all around them: the intensity of its light was strong enough to blind them both for a moment, as if it had been a blinding grenade of 'celestial' intensity.

-"Silly cowboy, Why did you have to be so brave?!... No, so stupid! You just had to run away with me when I said you!"-The next thing that caught the withered senses of the ex-sparda when his sight partially returned was the figure of 'Raynare', who had somehow appeared unexpectedly and had managed to carry him in her arms after the Monkey King had let him go when he carved his eyes. Apparently she had used a very basic, but always effective 'ruse' to sneak into the 'battlefield' and now she was carrying him, levitating as fast as she could, apparently she didn't want to let him die. Although by the expression on her face, something told Toni that she had resigned herself to the worst scenario since she dared to appear in this place. -"If we had hidden, maybe...!Woaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!"

And the worst scenario was not long in coming as whatever she was about to finish saying was interrupted when she was sent flying by a small sphere of red energy, which hit her right in the back. Countless buildings and skyscrapers would be pierced by her person before the momentum of that blow stopped. Toni obviously didn´t know if she was still alive or not, but at least the 'red sphere' had not pierced her. In any case, his body was now falling towards the ground from a distance of about 100 meters.

And at the same time a 'man' in red armor was approaching him at high speed, but not yet at a speed that could be above the sound. Probably because he knew that his 'prey' could not escape. It was obvious. More than obvious that he could continue torturing him, and then fulfill everything he had promised: So why rush?.

*Shine!*-But thanks to his great confidence and ego, typical of a god. He would have made the worst mistake of his entire life...

- "YOU DARED TO FUSE WITH THE 'BOOSTED GEAR'! YOU DARED TO USE MY FORCE! YOU'RE ALREADY DEAD WUKONG, YOU JUST DON'T KNOW IT YET!"...For before he arrived with his 'prey', a great amount of light particles emerged from one of the jewels of his armor. Particles that would soon take the shape of a great red dragon. A dragon who Wukong 'hadn't seen in over a century'.

-"Are you serious?! You could still do that Ddraig!?"-...And apparently he had forgotten that Ddraig could now self-revive/self-summon...

-"ROAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR!"-...And to top it off, the dragon wouldn't obey him even if he was now his 'user'.

An undetermined time later...

...a city was already completely devastated, Thanks to two titans who were still fighting furiously...

...Standing up with great difficulty, in the middle of that city, A boy removed multiple pieces of debris that had been covering him for who knows how long.

A man with black hair with white streaks was getting up, and walking slowly in the direction determined by his instincts.

He had forced himself towards those two beasts fighting each other as much as he could, his body currently little more than a mass of barely living flesh. His senses had all but evaporated, his mind had begun to break down as his consciousness cracked and faded. All he could remember were the faces of his old and new family, as well as the faces of those he had already begun to consider his friends.

But that had been enough, enough to keep him alive, enough to keep him moving.

Who was in front of him there in the distance would pay with his blood for all that he had done.

Next, he continued to act on pure instinct. At that moment , simply hadn't been enough of himself to store the information that his failing senses were receiving:

The figure of a great dragon, Trying to engulf what appeared to be a man covered in golden hair with its maw; All around it, untold devastation.

The very air around them was boiling.

The statues and buildings nearby completely destroyed, while the stone of the streets had cracked to bleed fire. All around them the wailing and screams...

...cries for mercy and crazed laughter of animals that were once human, and of humans that were once animals.

It was simply a heartbreaking scene that could drive anyone to madness.

However, "Toni" was not in a state that could be described as sane.

His mind was shattered and his body was only alive because he had forced himself to stop one last time. One last time before the broken bones turned into blades finished impaling him from the inside and completely collapsed his marchite organs

[Play in youtube: Fate/EXTRA: Last Encore OST - Wild Hunt ~Excalibur Galatine theme~]

He only stood up because his unbreakeable will dictated it; the will of the half-demon he once was, and the man he still is.

He was impervious to the pain of his broken legs, because he had suffered worse things in his first life. He was impervious to fear, because he had already seen hell countless times. He didn't feel the heat of the flames because his nerves had long since evaporated. There was no pain, no terror, no lamentation; all there was was a primordial idea, a primordial instint that drove the remnant that had once been Dante.

-'Finish with the culprit of all this'

Under any normal circumstances, assassinating one or more Gods as a 'mere' human would be an impossible task.

But he who once called himself Dante, knew no such word.

Despite having his mind in ruins, his instinct and will were enough to take the weapon he had been carrying on his back thanks to that special holster. He withdrew it from the sheath, and then lifted the sword that had accompanied him all these years.

Pulling out all the pieces of power he still had, the sword 'throbbed' in the presence of the "dragon".

With his body about to be extinguished, he no longer cared about the price to be paid.

In order to end once and for all the suffering caused by them, he offered to the sword, what 'it' had been asking of him

-'Take what is left of my life, and eliminate them both!'-So as his last act, the remnant that had once been Dante, whispered his last words with his last breaths-"I'm sorry red dragon-"And he raised with full force that sword filled with an immense purple aura, that for a moment seemed to connect the earth with the sky, after the 'contract' with the weapon was established-"But that son of a bitch, he must die!"- And then, with a simple up and down motion, he swung from afar that sword, dropping its massive aura on the dragon and the "man" in its maw 'in front' of him, not before finishing the 'contract' with the devilish weapon, by 'releasing' they true name-"Naeeeegliiiiiing!"

*Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooom!*-And so it was that the devil sword that once belonged to the true King Beowulf, ended once and for all with everything that was put in front of it. Shattering into multiple pieces after their aura fell upon they 'sneake targets' as Toni's hair lost vitality, turning white; his battered face and body aging at an incredibly fast rate. Going from a young 18 year old to a decrepit old man in less than a second.

And from somewhere far in the distance...

...Despite her incredibly acute hearing thanks to her status as a high-class demon, A wounded Rias didn't manage to hear correctly what "Toni" said the next moment after she finally found his figure among all the devastation, her anguished screams plus the subsequent shockwave drowned out all sound. Not to mention, the wave of power from that sword collapsed the lengths of the streets in front of Toni (An incredibly wide and seemingly endless channel had formed), obscured by the explosion of purple light that "Toni's" final act had unleashed.

And when the light faded all that remained was a decimated length of land that had once contained streets and buildings. That and the slowly disintegrating form of a "man", and a dragon of colossal size.

She then turned to "Toni", expecting to see the last of his life slip away...

...to see his corpse fall.

She had refused to leave him. Her servants had escaped long ago despite their insistent complaints because she had for the first time given them an order they were not allowed to break. She was too stubborn to leave to his fate that boy who had done so much for her, and who a part of her heart had begun to beat for him, and that is why the tears were flooding her cheeks intensely.

But when she turned her attention back to the boy's figure, When she approached him as fast as she could as she flew through the skies, She didn´t encounter a corpse, but instead, was greeted by the sight of a white-haired young man, asleep and lying on the ground with his clothes in tatters, fully restored to the peak of his health.

A massive and incredibly strong magical aura now being emitted from his body. An aura that was both divine and demonic at the same time.

An aura that ascended to the heavens for a brief moment, like a pillar of energy that was announcing to the world that 'something' that Rías now knew.

Thankfully she had been lucky enough not to run into 'them', that aura was something she had never felt before, but that phenomenon was something she knew very well thanks to the forbidden books she had read. Generally the description of the phenomenon was published as a warning.

A warning, which told every demon that the creature born of the ritual she had just witnessed, was something that could only be described as 'Transcendental', and therefore, should not be offended under any circumstances.

A ritual born of a 'sacrifice'

A 'sacrifice' necessary for the ritual of the [Mother of Humanity] to be completed

A ritual that needs the sacrifice of a God at the hands of a human being.

So now she was observing, how the blessing of the [Mother of Original Sin] had been bestowed upon the Kusanagi.

If a human being is very, very, very, very lucky, he or she will become "something" superior when they ends the life of a Deity.

Kings of Mankind. Champions. God Slayer. Supreme-Sorcerers. Arisen. True Demon-Kings. Rakshasa-Raja.

They received many names throughout the different ages.

But the angels and demons call them by another name: "Nephalem": Which mean, Giants of Giants.

Children blessed by the biblical heaven.

Beings possessing both human, demonic and divine characteristics. Mixed-blood beings who, despite being partly demons, are able to use the powers of the gods they slay. Both the heavenly graces of the angels and the dark powers of the demonic deities.

After the convergence of all the series of events that had brought Toni to this point in time and space:The fact that he possessed superhuman characteristics thanks to a special reincarnation, the fact that he had been introduced to the supernatural underworld again due to his personality, the fact that he had met Azzazel, and that his character and characteristics ended up pleasing the deity enough to have the confidence to give him forbidden armaments, the fact that he had awakened sun-wukong by accident, the fact that he never gave up, the fact that he was 'crazy', the fact that he was not exterminated by his enemies at the first attempt, the fact that he was underestimated...

...All that and more had converged in the birth of a new 'Nephalem'.

All around the mortal world, those with sufficient capacity for 'spiritual perception' were able to sense that tremendous aura, before it went back to 'sleep'.

They immediately knew it.

The Sixth 'King of mankind' had been born.

The Sixth 'Brother' had been chosen.

A woman with hair as red as fire, and skin as tanned as lightly roasted coffee, looked out over the horizon where her bare feet rested on the top of what appeared to be a 'forested' mountain somewhere in the world. Then she smiled viciously as with one hand she held one of the large 'Buddhist' beads on her brown necklace while with her other hand she adjusted the bottom part of the dark keikogi she was wearing;

A rather old man with white hair, dressed in an elegant attire just watched through his black glasses and red eyes the front door of his mansion while he was smiling with a smile worthy of a hunter. He was sitting on a kind of 'advanced' throne inside the mansion, and was petting what appeared to be a huge wolf. Beside him there seemed to be some kind of living corpse, and behind his throne the symbol (written in red and white paint) of some kind of organization was partially revealed: It looked a lot like a 'biohazard' symbol; *3

A black lightning bolt 'ran' through the walls of the huge clock-building called Big-Ben. When it reached the top of the building, the lightning took the form of a young man with black hair, who was wearing a full body suit of the same color of his hair. His expression looked quite annoyed as his eyes focused eastward;

Another 'man' dressed elegantly in a black suit plus a cape, and who was apparently wearing a kind of insect mask in 'his' head, just turned 'his' head to the west, as 'he' stood on top of a skyscraper;

And finally a girl dressed as a nun, who looked quite innocent, and a bit clumsy, looked eastward from somewhere on the earth composed almost entirely of sand, a second later a kind of black hole 'opened up' next to her; she tried to avoid being pulled by that singularity, but almost as if it was a bad joke given the frustrated expression on her face, she could not avoid being dragged and disappearing;

On the other hand, in the offices of all the magical organizations of the human world, all the wizards and the like, were sounding the alarms, and running back and forth, trying to understand what had happened in Japan...

In a mysterious place...

-Hmph! Hahahahahaha! Sun-Wukong, to think that a god as powerful as you would know defeat at the hands of a mere human being, I always knew you were a disgrace, but this is beyond you!

-Silence Ddraig! You are the only shame here, I remind you that you were also killed by this brat!

-That doesn't count! I WAS STILL LINKED TO THE SACRED-GEAR!

-Aha...And then what are you doing here?!

-"..."-For a moment, a certain dragon didn't know what to answer, until he blurted out the first idea that popped into his head-"I must be about to enter the Sacred-Gears reincarnation wheel! It's obvious, you idiot monkey!"

That was the dialogue heard by the blurred consciousness of 'Toni', who was currently lying in the middle of an unfamiliar place. For some reason his limbs were extremely sore, while his brain and entire body felt scorching hot.

It should be noted that this place where he was was nowhere, it was a place that could not exist on Earth.

For it was a gray world.

Everything in sight was gray.

However, when the white-haired young man raised his head to look around, there was something else in that gray world.

As he turned his head to the right, 'Toni' noticed about two meters away what appeared to be a humanoid ape, a humanoid ape wearing some kind of oriental armor. Strangely the primate was looking at it with eyes that had some curiosity mixed with slight annoyance. They no longer seemed full of killer instinct, although Toni still couldn't remember where he knew this monkey from...

After having given a glance at the once crude enemy, our hero turned his head to his left, and then a massive red dragon appeared in his field of vision.

Then he vaguely remembered; he remembered that he had just fought with these individuals. Well, rather than fighting, it would be better to say that he was turned into a lump of meat and then used a suicidal 'move' to eliminate them both. The fact that Wukong had become part 'dragon' by merging with the 'Boosted-Gear', allowed him to eliminate any kind of defensive ability possessed by him or Ddraig, as it was assumed that if he gave his life to that sword, it would become a weapon capable of killing any dragon, absolutely.

Or so he half-remembered about the fight, and about what Azzazel had told him about the Beowulf-King's sword.

He tried to remember more about the fight, but when he searched his mind, a terrible headache suddenly invaded him, however, a small portion of memory prevailed; from one moment to the next, in his mind he saw himself receiving all that terrible damage, damage that probably should have left him dead after the sword 'consumed' all his life expectancy, but...here he was still alive.

-'This is weird'-Toni thought to himself in disbelief as he continued to look curiously at those two characters, who continued to insult each other, ignoring the boy.

-Hmph! Well Wukong, I wonder what [Authority] this child will gain from you. Have you already forgotten the 'curse' left by the god of the bible and the cursed denizens of paradise? The dark birth ritual that this foolish child and his strange sword gave rise to. The secret rite that only succeeds when a god is used as a sacrifice! Look, your divine power is already flowing in this guy's body and mind!

-I haven't forgotten that, lizard! This brat really managed to fool me. To think that he possessed such a powerful devil arm! And...! Ohhhhhh! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

-Why are you laughing so hard, monkey brain? Why are you pointing at me like that?!

-...Hmmmmm! Hahahahahahahaha! The one who's a fool here is you! Haven't you noticed that your divine power is also flowing in the body and mind of this child?!

-WHAAAAAAAAT?! That shouldn't be possible! No, I refuse to hand over one of my powers to him! What's going on here?! Why haven't I gone to my next user?!

-Hoho, Ddraig-san I didn't think you hated failure so much.

-Oh, you're...I see. You noticed the birth of a new son.

-You! Witch! Explain to me what's going on! Why I, a celestial Dragon, I'm taking part in this ritual?!

Suddenly, in this strange and empty world appeared a woman who had a sweet voice: The woman appeared unannounced to the side of those present. And her appearance would not take long to leave our hero with the greatest bewilderment he had ever had in his two lives; His eyes almost popped out of their orbits, his eyebrows rose with great distress, and his breathing became somewhat irregular, for...

-MOTHER?!

...Except for her mystical-looking eyes and her clothes, the figure and appearance of that woman was identical to the one who had been her mother in her first life.

Eva.

And she definitely didn't possess a demonic aura like Trish so it couldn't be a hoax by 'Mundus' or someone similar who wanted to play a bad joke on him. In fact, her aura was the holiest thing 'Dante' had ever felt: Or maybe if it was a nefarious hoax?!

-'What's going on here?! She's an impostor! That must be it! I was transported to the enemy's camp! It must be Mundus' foul play!'- At that thought, he stood up hastily, and got into a combat stance while instinctively summoning the strange sword that Wukong tried to steal from him, already clutched in one of his hands...

-*Shine*-But after being touched on his chest, right in the area of his heart by the woman's index finger so quickly that he could not react at all, he would begin to hear a voice in his head and in his heart that would soon explain everything while calming his nervous breakdown, bewilderment and anger...

-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o

'I know you have many questions.

I know you've been afraid and that you once wished you had died years ago.

I also know that this is all for your own good. I know you will feel grateful to me once you see the results of my gift.

Before I go any further, I want you to know that the things I am about to tell you are not for the weak and skeptical. And although my existence may be hard for you to believe, I love to think that I may at least be able to explain to you what happened.

I was born into the lap of luxury, into the paradise of the gods, but that meant nothing to me...'

[At that instant, images began to appear in 'Dante's mind that soon converged into a scene that could well be some kind of memory. A memory that absolutely did not belong to him...].

To be continued...

Author's messages:

I hope you liked the chapter, I tried my best to bring you a proper conclusion to this whole 'event'. And finally I left the little surprise at the end. Any doubt you may have, will be solved as the chapters go on: remember that I altered the DMC canon, so Eva in Earth 1 (or in any other Earth I mention) was not a simple human, just as I suggested when I put that memory in previous chapters...

...And I hope you like this idea. I wanted to make her an even more relevant character and even give her the same importance as Sparda, as the 'savior' of humanity, at least in another earth. It has always bothered me about the dmc canon that she only appears in 'micro-moments', or as sporadic comments/reminiscences...

...And in Viewtiful Joe, Mundus Said to Dante: "Sparda isn't my nemesis, Eva is my true nemesis!", so I think, Why not?

By the way, Dante is NOT going to get the Boosted Gear. He is going to get a [Authority] from Ddraig; a power and/or ability that has been described in the Arthurian myth, and not the abilities he developed as a dragon with his divinity sealed. And the reason why Dante will have an authority of him, you will understand in the next chapter. By the way, Ddraig will appear again at some point in the future, although not that far away, only that his user will not be Issei. Sorry for Issei's fans, it's nothing personal, I simply have other plans for the dragon, and for the rivalry with Vali, and Issei won't be included in those plans...

...Such ideas, I will expose them to you later, and then you will understand why I did what I did. However, he will still be a secondary character with some relevance on occasion.

And talking about the next update: I think it will arrive until the end of the month or a little later, I'll be in a hurry with my tasks and work. So please be patient :)

Best regards!

Chapter Clarifications:

*1 In the 'Library' section (which I have placed below) you will find more information about this authority.

*2 It isn´t the 'Devil Sword Dante' as such, but if you want to name it, you can name it as 'Human Sword Dante'. In the next chapter I will explain what it consists of, but don't think that 'Toni' will recover 'all' the demonic powers of his other life: I advance you that this sword has a remnant power of the 'Devil Sword-Dante', but the MC will not recover the "95%" percent of his streng and powers through this sword as maybe some of you still thought. That would take away the meaning of this whole crossover, as it would no longer make sense for the MC to kill gods and acquire their authorities to become stronger. As I had told you at the beginning of this story, Dante will regain powers 'similar' to the ones he had (both inferior and superior) through gaining authorities by killing 'evil' gods, and he will also gain new powers that way, however I 'introduced to the story' this 'sword' as a 'memory' of 'the devil sword Dante' and as an 'own power' of the protagonist that will become stronger as he kills more gods.

*3 For those of you who know [campione!], and for those of you who are not so familiar with that series: Those are not the appearances of those two 'kings'; I am going to take some creative liberties with those two characters to expose a 'variation' of those characters, which I think will be fun to see since this history is a crossover with DMC, a capcom franquise. So, I'll put a bit of 'capcom' in those two, although obviously they won't become 'decals' of those 'capcom' characters. I'll take 'references' from 'capcom' and they'll be a kind of OCC characters, that will take the best of the original campione characters, and of those 'capcom' franchises to turn them into a somewhat different alternative versions, although not very different from what they already are . Obviously, this will not consist in another crossover with those Capcom franchises, so the lore of those franchises for obvious reasons will be excluded, so don't worry, I will not turn this story into an 'X-over' with little sense.

Talking about the other 'nephalem': I decided to exclude a guy named Doni, for...

...The world would end if Doni and Dante were 'Campione' at the same time :V...I think one 'Nefalem' as crazy as those two is enough XD, so I excluded him, but don't worry. Doni will still appear as...Well, I'd better not give you that spoiler; I'll just tell you that he will replace a DXD character. By the way, don't expect the same events and fights from [Campione] to play out the same way in this story. And a seventh and unexpected 'nephalem' will also be born later.

Library:

Sun wukong authorities revealed:

Steal [Rank A+]: this is wukong's authority, representing him as a trickster character, who spent his time stealing 'immortality' from the gods, among many other things from other characters. If the enemy gives him an opportunity, and wukong takes advantage of it, by placing his hands on the target's body he can steal almost anything: Authorities/Powers, memories, concepts, physical abilities, etc... There are very few things that the monkey king can't steal, however, there may be situations in which he can't steal 'something' from someone with this authority...

... And generally this will happen if the thing he wishes to steal is of a rank with an absurd power or is something too abstract.

One with All/All in one [Rank EX-]: At the end of his myth, the monkey king became a buddha, and every buddha, becomes one with everything, even the earth and the universe itself, so in theory, a buddha will never die as long as the universe continues to exist. That was the true immortality that he was always seeking in his myth. That said, unlike if he were in his mythological world, the authority does not make him immortal in that sense, but allows Sun-Wukong on the mortal plane to merge with practically anything, more or less like 'Rebellion'.

This autoritie in mortal plane is more weak, because it cannot be fully utilized in their true potential, as the earth-goddess [Gaia] restricts such power: The living planet prevents who a buddha becoming one with 'her' because of the danger it represents.

Naegling [Rank C~EX]:

Background: This is the sword that the Norse king Beowulf used at the end of his 'tale' to defeat a dragon of unknown name: In said final battle, the king would die after slaying the 'serpent' with this sword, which would end up splitting in 'two due to his strength'.

But in a world where mythology coexists with the mortal plane so freely...

...What is real, and what is fictional?...

...The myth changes the story, and the story changes the myth...

...The supernatural alters history, and history alters the supernatural...

...SGs created heroes, and many of those heroes were turned into demigods in the stories...

...And the same could be said of other supernatural weapons...

Some mythological stories were born from the imagination of human beings without any background in between, some stories had historical references, and other tales were taken from real supernatural events, which were 'malversed' in one way or another at the time of telling.

And the sword that 'Dante' used is an example of the latter.

The real 'Naegling' used by the 'real' King Beowulf was originally one of the best works of a demon called 'Machiavelli': A demon from an unknown demonic house, who became the second best blacksmith in hell.

He created this sword as an absolute countermeasure against any kind of 'snake'...

... Ah, but after all, 'Machiavelli' was not a 'kind' demon, so the effects of the sword were never 'just': If a 'weak' human being took it, Naegling would turn him into a bloodthirsty creature; while if a human being with great magical potential and a strong will took it, he could use its power without many 'side effects', however, whoever wanted to defeat a strong 'snake', no matter if his/her was a human being or another creature, would have to surrender his/her entire life expectancy to the sword soon after it released its true power:

When the dragon was defeated, Naegling would take the life of its user, regardless of whether his/her life expectancy was mere seconds or infinite.

All glory has a price.

Unfortunately, the sword of 'Machiavelli' is not perfect, so after its true power was used by the real King Beowulf, it broke into hundreds of pieces, which 'Grigori' found and finally 'reforged' some years ago, until it was stolen by Freed-Selzen.

How the devil sword came into the hands of King Beowulf in the first place is unknown, but ironically, when the story of the adventures of this 'Nephalem' was 'turned' into a myth, Naegling was described as a 'holy' sword that was split in two due to the 'great strength' of the king. And paradoxically, unlike 'Dante', the cause of death of that 'Nephalem' would be this sword.

Why? That you will Know in the next chapters

Effects: In addition to those already discussed in this chapter and in previous chapters, when the 'user' decides to give his/her life to 'Naegling', the (base) anti-dragon power of the sword [Rank C] will rise to rank EX, thus nullifying any kind of 'defense' and/or immortality possessed by a enemie 'snake'.

JtBlack-Hawk3198:

Hey, thanks for leaving your message :)

Answering your question:

I had said that I would make some changes with respect to DXD characters, and Bikou will be one of those changes, although it will not be a big one: To avoid problems (since I didn´t want to remove Bikou from the story, because I like him as a character) , Bikou will be a demigod, one son of Hanuman (a 'serius' monkey god), who in Indian mythology had children. He obviously won't use the Ru Yi Bang, but Hanuman's weapons aren't that much different from Wukong's, heh.

I hope you liked this chapter

Best regards!

DMC 5 DEAD WEIGHT:

Hey, thanks for leaving your message :)...

...I know what you feel about that song, I also hate it, it's horrible.

So I'm never will suggesting it as 'background music' :S

Have a nice weekend!

joelwalker786:

hey thank you for leaving your review: D

Yes, I am trying that Dante's inteliggence not forgotten, he isn´t stupid, he is just a 'little' crazy. And he is very lazy ... :V

About the romance: I already have a 'plan' with the girls: they will have a 'decent' background, and I will not force the moments of romance. I will try to that things "flow" naturally. But that will take time, because first Dante will have to overcome that 'fear' that he continues to feeling when he tries to relate very closely with someone, especially the female sex: and of course 'Alter Eva' advice will help a lot. That is why (among other things) I also put her as a character of great relevance.

Thanks for your advice about my writing, I will try to improve the dialogues and the structure of the paragraphs so that it is easier to differentiate those points. :)

Heck, I had forgotten the absurd resistance to manipulation of the soul that he has XD, the soul stone have chosen him by that? : V ... Well, I tried to 'represent' that resistance in this chapter with sun-wukong and dante's 'core'. I hope that has not been very strange hehe

Thank you for you review again, have a nice weekend!

Azure-Star-Dragon: I thought I made pretty clear that 'thing' in the opening chapters, and even though I haven't even gotten to the part of the story in which I will delve more deeply into those aspects... With all due respect, I must say you... if you don't like this idea, don't continue reading this story.

Obviously, I have an opinion and interpretation of the character different from yours: for me, 'currently' 'canon Dante' respects his father a lot, and feels a certain 'pride' for his blood and demonic nature, but he's not like Vergil, who 'treasures' his legacy in every way. Dante has no interest whatsoever in anything to do with hell or evil demons (Except, kill them all). Given his personality, I think that he doesn't care if his father was a demon, an angel, or an alien. The only thing he cares about is that he has the power to protect what he cares about. He just continues being and behaving like a 'simple human being', who uses his powers to defend humanity in his own and imperfect way. But, if there is a legacy that Dante treasures on the same level as 'Vergil', it would come to be the humanity that Eva gave him, and not his demonic side.

So, Here I am developing a character that had and will have a different 'course', with another kind of character development compared to the original. And if you don't like it, don't read it.

Best Regards.
