Well, here we are again. Emo Geo and his Emoness. What can I say, writing this kind of Geo is kinda fun.
I know people don't like the angry angst Emo Geo looks at the reviews that don't like it, but this Geo isn't here forever, and I am planning by the end of the Harp Note Arc, to start writing a less Emo Geo. It's all meant to help compare and contrast the two Geo's, as I do want to practice Character Development in a long-term sense, while also showing a different way to look at the games.
Believe me, I do get what you guys are saying about Geo, and I am not ignoring you about it, but I don't want to change it for no reason. Hell, the change may start happening as early as the end of the Cygnus Wing arc.
Another thing I will point out, I will be changing things to make the story feel different enough from the games (like environments of the EM world for instance) from here on out, as I feel like the FM-ians, if powerful enough, could influence it enough to change the area on a local level, though, only if they are fused with a human.
Well, I will stop wasting your guys time, and start the story.
Looking around the entrance of Amaken, I can definitely say this place is something that would be my cup of tea, if it wasn't for Aaron running it.
"Hey Geo!"
Speaking of him, I turn around, to see him entering the building, with Lunas teacher, Mitch, and his class.
Fantastic. I get to see the class of neanderthals called High School students that's in Lunas class. Just what I wanted.
"Yes Aaron?" Grinding my teeth slightly, trying to not get irritated at him.
"Glad I caught up with you! I am giving a tour of the place, and I want you to be apart of it!" Aaron exclaims.
"And why would I want to join in your little tour group? I can easily explore the place on my own." I growl out.
"Well, I can give more information about some of our exhibits, and help explain what they do. Besides, I am sure you would have more fun with a group, than wondering on your own here." Aaron says, ignoring my irritation at him, and my desire to just be alone.
But at the same time, I can't deny the truth. He does know a lot more about he projects and exhibits that I do, and he can give insight on some of them. I mutter angrily to myself, unable to believe that I convinced myself to join their group.
"Fine. I will join your group Aaron." I growl out. He seems a bit surprised at my tone, but looks happy regardless.
"Great! Follow me then!" Aaron says.
We see Tom following the group from a distance, watching them.
"I am sure that Aaron wouldn't do that." Tom says half-heartedly to a swan FM-ian.
"Oh please, most humans betray each other on a daily basis. Aaron, like your old boss, is using you to get your invention, to claim as his own." Cygnus says. "I wouldn't lie or betray you now, as I am not a human.
" I-"
"Shush, listen to him."
"So who made... the pack with wings?" A girl asks.
"Why... I... did... made it." Aaron is heard saying.
"See?" Cygnus points out.
"... Yes I see."
Well, other than seeing a few exhibits, we arrive to a exhibit meant to be the solar system, in a vacuum that we can enter.
While really cool, I am quite skeptical about it.
I watch Aaron demonstrate how to put in the suit to enter the exhibit, but I notice Mega motioning to me from the Transer. I exit quickly, saying I need to use the restroom, before looking at Mega.
"What's up Mega?" I whisper, not wanting to be heard.
"I sense an FM-ian nearby. I think I know who it is."
"Who?"
Mega goes to answer, only for the PA system to start going haywire, and Toms's voice is heard, though it sounds slightly different.
While being hard to follow, the basic jiff lf what he said, was he won't be betrayed anymore. He shouldn't have trusted Aaron, stuff like that.
I quickly flick down my visualizer, and notice a change portal in the area. That's very useful. I quickly run over to it, and wave change.
The first thing I notice, is that the EM world is all wonky.
Like, viruses everywhere, parts are jacked up, and jet like bird things flying around. It's almost as if the EM world is being effected by the FM-ian attacking.
Entering the area of the Solar system exhibit, I start quickly looking around, and I notice that a path into where the Solar system area is blocked off from the EM world side, telling me that it's where Tom and Cygnus are at.
God damn it, is this going to be another key collection situation? If so, fuck you Cygnus. It was annoying enough against Taurus, but if I have to ride a giant robotic swan, and it bucks my crotch, I will be beyond pissed off.
"Kid. We should start looking around, and see if we can't find a way to lower that barrier."
"Yeah. We should." As much as I hate Luna and Aaron, I wouldn't want them to die like THAT. Dying from suffocation, or a vacuum 0G environment is just pure awful. At least, I don't think they deserve that.
Looking around again, I notice three pathways, two are also blocked off by barriers, but I notice one is open.
Why. If I was a villain, even if I don't think someone could do this, I would make damn sure that it can't be breached, by covering up the last section as well.
Luckily, I am not the villain. I go down the first Pathway, using the Heavy Cannon to clear out large groups of Viruses, and the Micro Missles to take down some of the more tanky viruses.
After about two minutes of fighting, going around areas of the EM roads, and watching a virus decide to hide behind a fake plant, I reach the end of the road and a strange-looking Jammer enemy.
"Ah, you are the one who got past my army. Prepare to meet your doom, boy!" The Jammer, colored blue with what looks like ice spikes coming out from its shoulders says, before using its halting gun to fire off ice spikes at me.
Quickly raising my shield, I ready my fireball card to form a counter-attack, with the Crucible Mega card on stand-by. Using the fireball card, I watch as a fireball the size of my head zips by, and hits the jammer straight in the chest, before exploding, causing extra damage from what I assume is a damage boost from elemental differences.
Before the Jammer can recover, I activate the Mega card, and slice the Jammer in the center, as it starts exploding, signalling it's defeat.
Hard to believe I that the first one I dough, kicked my ass initially. But then again, I wasn't as prepared, and didn't have the cards I have now. But I don't know what's next, more elemental jammers, or what. I just leave the area, intent on seeing if a new area was unlocked.
I have really not much to say. I know, it's not a long chapter, but I really struggled getting this one done, combined with shit going on in real life for me, it took forever.
I do hope you enjoyed this chapter, and wish y'all a good day!
