Important note: I recently received constructive criticism about the dialogue structure I am implementing: so in this chapter I have mediated between the classic dialogue structure generally used in fanfiction for Anglo-Saxon readers with a bit of my old structure, keeping the features that best help to distinguish the beginning of the dialogues between long paragraphs. So please, tell me if you like the structure for the dialogues in this chapter better than in its previous version or not; that way, you will help me to know how to edit definitely the structure of the dialogues of the previous chapters.

Little teaser (no spoilers): this chapter is mainly focused on the "development" of the characters, and the "development" of their relationships, so expect a lot of dialogues, and no fights; it's also extremely long, because I've left an "Omake" at the end of the chapter to make up for the lack of action. So it's actually 2~3 chapters in one (This 'thing' have 23000 words...[o_O']); I've tried to redeem myself for so many interludes :V... so take your time to read it.

By the way, next week I'll post a "chapter" called "Antoni", which actually won't be a chapter as such, but that post will function as a "tech sheet" and "General Library" for the main character's stats and special powers (that way I want to avoid filling the next chapters with extra words. That chapter will be updated as the plot progresses, and as it reveals the effects of the authorities, plus the general abilities Toni gained just for being nephalem and/or the characteristics of the sword he 'earned'.). So for the moment, in the "library" of this chapter, you will only find a vague description of an effect of the "authority" that "Toni" used in the omake.

Mission 07: Organize Your Kingdom

When his eyes opened, Toni noticed that he was in a bed, naked and covered by a sheet, in a certain nursing room, again...

"?" confusion immediately took over his head. He felt like he had been asleep for some time, and couldn't remember what had happened before he 'fell asleep'. That was, until a little over a minute later, he turned his head, and then a 'revelation' came to his psyche after he looked at that 'Girl' sitting on a couch next to a small table on wheels (with plenty of food on a tray), and near his bed. Sun Wukong...Ddraig...Dying...Self-sacrifice...Naegling...Mother of Humanity.

"Damn!" he couldn't think of a more appropriate word to describe how he felt at that moment. He had a lot to take in. He was Surprised, bewildered, meditative, curious, proud; Those were the main feelings that were mingling in his being at that moment as he learned that he was no longer quite human, and as he remembered that he had met an alternate variant of his mother who was in charge of protecting the Earth in this world by 'giving birth' to what he now was. He was now a 'Campione' or 'Nephalem' or 'Arisen' or 'Supreme Sorcerer' or 'God-Slayer' or 'Homo superioris' OR 'Overl...'...Well, he would have to choose one of all those 'Titles' he learned from the 'teachings' of the goddess of paradise as soon as possible, or he would have an even bigger headache than he already had "Why do I stink exactly like a bottle of tequila?" he wondered after sniffing himself for a moment. The smell of alcohol was too intense "Heck, this stench and headache are comparable to a night in Las Vegas. How did I get here?"

Now that he thought about it, he didn't remember perfectly how he had arrived in this infirmary room (again), but he did remember practically everything just before he killed those gods, and he also remembered almost everything his 'Soul' had experienced in seventh heaven. There was the odd stray word here and there from the 'Goddess', and the odd blurry image, but that was definitely still a clear memory, which in a way made him happy; that after returning to his physical body he had lost the memory of such revelations and/or that he didn't remember it in a structured way, is something that would have frustrated and grieved him in many ways.

But when he tried to evoke memories of his journey to this Kuoh academy site, everything became extremely blurry; from a first person perspective, he remembered seeing the faces of Rias and Sona, both shouting at him for some reason in the middle of that ruined city, and then he vaguely remembered pulling out from some rubble the 'Girl' who was asleep on that couch near his bed, and after that he ran through some streets with that 'Girl' still in his arms, and then everything became a mental lagoon, worthy of anyone who has overdone it with the drinks at a party.

*Big yawn*-The Ex-sparda's thoughts were interrupted the next moment by the big yawn of the girl lying on that sofa. When the sunlight finally broke through one of the windows and illuminated the face of the 'Girl', she woke up in no time and while carving an eye as she sat up properly on the Sofa, she addressed a few words with a somewhat arrogant tone (as Tsundere) to the Kusanagi lying on the bed.

"Oh, you woke up at last. You acted in the most reckless way possible, and yet you're still alive...I don't know if you're the craziest person on earth, or the luckiest. The recovery progressed fast in such a short time, it's amazing and definitely worthy of the beast you are now."

"Uh? Come to think about it, who are you supposed to be your midget?", Hearing the 'Girl' mumbling on the side of his bed, Toni was perplexed, and not by the fact that he found out thanks to the position of the sun (seen through the window), that he had slept until afternoon, but because the appearance of the 'Girl' was very familiar to him, but at the same time different.

The 'infant' in question, had black hair pulled back in two pigtails on either side of her head, red eyes, and an outfit that Toni recognized very well; But the strange thing about it was that the person next to him looked to be between 13 and 14 years old both in appearance, height, body proportions and tone of voice; she no longer looked like a woman in her 20's.

"Hmmmp!", After hearing the word 'midget', the 'Girl' puffed out her cheeks in annoyance and huffed with a bit of anger before opening her mouth, "How is it possible that you can't recognize your savior! Even if I look like a girl now, have more respect for me!"

"That way of talking so 'Tsundere'...It can't be. Raynare?..."

"Ah? It's a miracle! You're already able to pronounce my wonderful name, that's a breakthrough. I heard your brain lost another 'Screw' last night, so I thought you'd be even more of an idiot when you woke up. And an idiot Nephalem would be the worst kind of King Japan could ever have, so you took a load off my mind. Having helped create an idiot 'Nephalem' was pricking my conscience too much."

"No shit...You look like her, You talk like her, and you move like her. Are you Raynare's miniature clone? Or her lost daughter seeking alimony?~"

"No silly! I am Raynare! Obviously there is no another just as wonderful like me!"

"Hehehe", Chuckling, the boy was amused by the "Girl's" tantrum and pouting, which he intentionally occasioned. He was no fool, he quickly realized that that girl was 'Raynare' in a pubescent version, both by her appearance and manner of speaking as well as by the weak aura she emitted, which was identical (but much more weak) to that divine ancestor's. Although he obviously had no idea why she was in that form.

Nevertheless, despite the fact that the girl was like a miniature version of the divine ancestor (with even the attire she always wore, but in a reduced version), Toni soon realized certain peculiarities that differentiated her from her 'adult version'; Her red eyes had vertical pupils, like those of a cat or a reptile, her ears were pointed like those of a goblin, and besides...

"Hey, is that a tail? Since when did you grow a cat-like tail?"...A long cat-like tail with light beige fur, peeked out from between the crossed legs of that 'Girl'; Moving from side to side, and wagging or contracting as the 'Girl' became angry or calm, as if her emotions were also 'Reflected' in the tail through they movements.

"This beautiful appearance is something I couldn't help but show *Sigh* The Boosted-Gear, and the lunatic monkey king are all to blame!"

"Uh?...what does that have to do with the fact that you turned into a midget?"

"Hmmp! I don't have to tell that to someone who doesn't respect me!"

"Ok, Whatever, it's not like I really care to know either, But don't blame me for calling you a midget~"

"Don't you dare call me that again, or I'll break a le..!...Oh right. Now you're a monster, I can't give you any chastisement anymore *sigh*, I guess... "

"Hey, I'm not a monster!"

"Oh believe me, not only humanity differs greatly from the opinion you have of yourself, hehehe" Now it was Raynare's turn to chuckle. She had finally managed to get an annoyed expression out of the semi-white-haired boy, and that amused her quite a bit. However, her amused smile soon waned, as the Kusanagi didn't seem to care too much about the opinion others came to have of him.

"Meeh, whatever, people always fear what they don't understand *Sigh*. In any case, you always hid your true appearance? Were you too embarrassed to reveal that you're a dwarf?". Naturally, Toni tried to 'return' the insult to the blackhead in one way or another.

"Embarrassed ? I would never feel shame for such majestic 'vestiges' of what used to be me. Hmmp!"Raynare seemed to feel more offended by that fact, than by the derogatory term directed at her stature"If I hid my appearance, it is because of the Grigorians, and not because of some kind of self-shame I felt towards myself"She raised an eyebrow, and put on a solemn expression, which didn't last long"Besides, my beautiful appearance is too much for the dirty black angels"A small blush appeared on the girl's cheeks, for an instant"Are you aware of the feeling that my true appearance can arouse in 'certain' types of people?" *1

"Certain 'types' of people?...Don't tell me that in Grigori there are many...?"

"Don't even mention it. Many of 'those weirdos' abound in that place. That place in hell is horrible, it's full of tyrants, madmen, ungrateful and degenerates!". For a brief moment, one could have sworn that the girl got teary eyes. A very difficult life she must have lived in that place without a doubt.

In response, Toni nodded his head multiple times as he understood the "girl's" words. From what Azzazel had told him, Grigori was not a very suitable place for 'Normal' women, but he never expected that Lolicons would also abound in thad place.

"You know, it's strange"As the topic of pedophiles, and the difficult life of the 'Puber' was not of interest to him at the moment, the young man changed the subject to talk about something he was more curious about"I've met other nekomatas before, and your sentences lack the typical 'Nyan'~"

"Hmmp! *sigh* Don't compare me to a mere nekomata."

"Okay, whatever you say kid...Anyway, how did you get here?. As I recall, you ended up under a bunch of buildings after banana breath 'shot' you, and it looked like you were badly injured."

"You brought me here. Y-Y-You saved me...", A grateful smile plus a slight chagrined blush came across the girl's expression, which the next second she tried to hide with her typical attitude, "And for that you should be incredibly grateful! You saved my glorious self, and as a reward you can now observe my majestic appearance!"

"I should feel grateful?, Ay Aha,". That analysis definitely didn't convince Toni. His expression remained stoic, until he finally realized something that ended up puzzling him, "Wait...I brought you here? I saved you? That means I came to this place by myself. What the hell happened last night?!"

"From what I hear, I'm not surprised you don't remember that. Your brain was missing another 'screw', I told you."

"What does that mean?!"

"You'll understand later, cowboy..."Raynare no longer seemed interested in answering the Kusanagi's doubts, so she got up from her seat and went to the main point for which she had been waiting for the boy's awakening there. Noticing that she had already strayed far from the topic she wanted to expose, she grabbed a change of clothes folded on a small table next to the hospital bed, and then turned her gaze back to the boy"For the moment forget any other doubts you have about my appearance. The bat girls have a lot to discuss with you, and so do I."She pointed to the tray full of food, and then smiled wryly"So first satisfy the beastly hunger you're sure to have. And then for heaven's sake..."With the index finger and thumb of one hand, she squeezed her nose tightly as a disgusted expression appeared on her face"...occupy the private bathroom in the back! Take a bath, you stink like the worst canteen!"She threw the change of clothes on the bed of the Kusanagi, whose half of the body downwards was still covered by the sheet, when he sat on the bed a minute ago"When you no longer smell like a sewer, catch up with me at the Occult Research Club along with everyone else"Said that, the girl walked towards the exit of the nursing room, without waiting to answer any more questions from the Kusanagi.

"Waai...". When he tried to stop her from leaving, it had already been too late as the girl ran from that place, as if her life depended on it.

*Badum* *Badum* *Badum*: And for some reason, Toni could swear that the girl's heartbeat was audible in the distance just before she left the room, though he didn't pay much attention to that.

"Lolis, *Sigh* They're always troublesome". Recalling for a moment a certain blonde-haired girl he knew in another life, our hero couldn't help but mention the above with a hint of annoyance, mixed with a smile full of longing.

*Growl**Growl* *Growl*: At once, his stomach roared with such intensity, that it almost seemed like a joke. The sensation of intense hunger came right after, he felt as if he hadn't eaten for days. His stomach was growling and rumbling, causing a commotion, demanding food and nutrients.

"Strange"Without pausing to think much about why he felt so hungry, our hero immediately 'raided' that little table plus they food trays. The amount of food they left him was almost as if they had guessed that he was going to be very hungry, which made him feel strange for a short time, until he thought that probably his 'being' was adapting to the changes that the 'blessing' of the goddess of paradise made to his 'existence'; and that surely Raynare, Rias, or someone else, knew the effects of that 'Blessing'.

In a short time he devoured all kinds of Italian food...Italian?...How did they know it was his favorite kind of food? Well, since they now knew his true identity, perhaps they had researched his tastes; he deduced.

On the table and trays, and on the various inferior 'panels' of the table, There were various paninis made with various meats and vegetables that you might find in Italy; Boiled sausages, Lasagna and various other pastas, rabbit meat stewed with vegetables, mineral water, orange juice. And more importantly, at the bottom of the table, on the lowest 'panel', there were two boxes of Pizza; One was anchovies, and the other Hawaiian, with delicious pineapple!...Ok, this last one was definitely not Italian food :V

Continuously grabbing food and stuffing his mouth, Toni chewed with delight, munching like a wild predator that had finally managed to kill its prey, after a few days of starvation.

Once he finished with all the food placed on that little table and on his various 'panels', his hunger was almost satisfied; he still felt a slight appetite, as if he had not eaten for 12 hours, but it was something that didn't bother him compared to the sensation of a few minutes ago. His headache also disappeared after satisfying his 'primitive instinct'.

He then sniffed himself again several times; he still had no idea why he smelled so much of alcohol. With that doubt in mind, he went to the bathroom, where he soon entered the shower, and with the water flowing down his person, he meditated deeply about what he had experienced in seventh heaven and what he had become.

He was still very surprised to have discovered the secrets of his first family, but at the same time he was very happy to have discovered that; that information somehow closed another 'scar' that had been anchored to his 'psyche', and that he had never been able to release. He was also proud to know that his original parents gave so much for humanity. They were true heroes, the greatest heroes he could think of. It didn't matter to him that they had been 'crystallized stories': What did it matter if their lives had originated from an act of faith? They had come to life, they had existed, they had defended their Earth, and they both loved him and his brother sincerely and from the bottom of their hearts, and that was all that mattered to him.

And he was definitely also very happy to know that a 'part' of his original mother was still alive in this world, that a 'variant' of her was protecting humanity from 'up there'. However, he was not so naive as to completely consider the 'Goddess' as his original mother: He knew that 'she' was not entirely his mother. After all, 'She' and Eva were 'people' who had experienced very different lives, and in turn were different creatures. As a divine ancestor, his first mother thought and acted more like a 'Human', and the 'Goddess' seemed to think and act more like a...Goddess. A Goddess who loves humanity and her children, true, 'She' releases a love and self-sacrifice as great as that 'released' by his original mother, but definitely the 'Goddess' should see the world differently than Eva did, so there will be aspects of her personality, and actions that will differ greatly from those of his original mother.

Exactly how many characteristics differ? At the moment, Toni wasn't sure, but he was getting an idea: Not to mention that the SG' system grants power in a random way, the 'blessing of the goddess' seems to be something that is conferred to any 'pure' human being who manages to defeat a God, without any distinction whatsoever. And that means that human beings with 'non-noble' hearts may become capable of becoming beings with absurd power; Since she 'created' that 'blessing', the Earth already has protection...but this protection should or must have had a great cost, a great cost that will be 'born' when a detestable human being, achieves what is supposed to be impossible...And that is something that he would definitely not believe that his original mother was capable of doing, at all.

Coming to that conclusion, Toni pursed his lips in a bit of annoyance. To think that a 'part' of his original mother was using the "Phrase"-'The end justifies the means'- was something he didn't end up liking.

"How am I going to call her?"

*Sigh*: At the thought of that other matter, the boy sighed with frustration and a hint of melancholy. He couldn't call her 'Mother' or 'Eva', but it didn't seem right to keep calling her 'Goddess', or 'She' either. If he met her again, or if he had to talk about her for any reason, it seemed disrespectful not to call her by a proper name, given all she had done for humanity, and for this world. And besides he had a habit of bestowing a name, nickname, or title on a person and/or 'something' that was relevant to his life, so he had to find a solution.

"[Eve]. I'll just call her that. She's my mother, but at the same time she's not. It sounds appropriate. Eve"'Eve', was the Anglo-Saxon variant for the name 'Eva', so it seemed to the Kusanagi an appropriate way to name a variant of his first mother and the most simple.

That existential doubt resolved, the kusanagi rubbed a shoulder and forgot for the moment about the circumstances (of what he had discovered) which were not entirely pleasant for him. So he began to meditate a bit about what he had become.

"I no longer feel completely a human being" The boy stopped scrubbing his body with the bar of soap, and then looked at his hands, and clenched one of his fists, as if trying to discover the characteristics, and the strength that now exists within him"Something definitely changed. Nephalem. That's what I am now, I guess. Wait...I have a human aura but do I also have a devil aura?"The boy closed his eyes, 'delving' into the depths of his being, and soon discovered a devilish aura hidden in the depths of his soul, in his 'spiritual veins'...And in his skin?; It was not at all the aura, the skin and the 'spiritual veins' of the 'blood of Sparda' of course, but seemed to be devilish traits he had never felt and/or experienced in his two lives. Something inside him, a 'piece' of his 'body' and his 'soul' were now 'Diabolical', But the strange thing about it that made both his eyebrows rise in confusion was that, that aura was so well hidden, that if he didn't actively 'release' it, his body emitted the aura of an ordinary human being! Any being with a spiritual perception that wasn't "decent" would definitely believe that he was a human being!""Hmmmmmm. What the hell? I have human 'portions' too?"

He soon found the reason for such an anomaly, other bodily 'bits' both physical and spiritual were still mortal, still human; Although those parts now felt vastly more powerful, but not in the 'physical' sense as his body didn't feel stronger in terms of strength, durability or agility, but the human side of his soul and his 'spiritual veins' felt incredibly 'Resilient'. Not to mention that he felt filled with almost inexhaustible 'vitality'; He felt full of energy.

"Wait a minute... No shit, what happen with all this magical power? It's ridiculous!"With his extrasensory 'perception', he 'reached' to feel all the magical power 'sleeping' inside him. It was enormous; an almost endless sea of 'Magic' power lay 'dormant' in his 'spiritual reservoir'. A magical power without attributes that seemed to hide itself quite well as long as he didn't use it actively "Is this amount of magic as much as my DT's?! Or even more? Now I understand why the dwarf called me a 'monster': quite fitting for something this absurd."Overnight the once human being with the odd superhuman characteristic had become a 'source' of magical power that even 'slightly' surpassed the Demonic form he long held as a standard of someone 'invincible', so for Toni, possessing an amount of magical power on that level, and still maintaining a human form among other 'mortal' attributes, was something that was truly surprising him, even with all the accumulated experience he had from his two lifetimes "What a strange creature I am now"A bitter smile formed on his lips; losing a part of his humanity was something he found hard to assimilate even though it gave him the 'power' to defend those he loved, however at least a part of him was relieved to think that 'there inside', both in his body and in his soul, there were still 'mortal' portions. The 'blessing' he had received was definitely something both absurd and strange; it was as if he was now the combination of a human being, a devil, and... "You've got to be kidding me. That's some kind of divinity? How is this even possible?"...A God. It was as if he was now both a demi-god, and a demi-devil!

The Ex-Sparda's bewilderment reached its climax when his consciousness reached a mental passage that represented his existence. That mental passage appeared to be a dark world, in whose 'sky' there were innumerable figures that appeared to be stars: Inside that passage, he observed a creature resembling a humanoid demon, whose resemblance to the DT he awakened when he was young (in his first life) was overwhelming, to one side of that creature, was 'a human being' identical to 'Toni' -The Ex-sparda supposed that that 'figure' represented his existence as a human being- And finally, levitating around 'Toni' and next to the 'Devil' were two orbs the size of a soccer ball; One orb was gold in color, and the other was red. Both 'radiated' a divine aura.

*Shine!*: When the Kusanagi's consciousness tried to touch one of those 'orbs', those things entered both the 'demon' and the 'human', as if they were intangible. A few seconds later, the figures of the human and the demon 'merged' while releasing an intense glow that illuminated the entire mental passage for a moment. Then, when the light of the mental passage disappeared, the next thing that the Kusanagi's consciousness saw, and that replaced the previous figures, was not a demon, a human being, or an orb, but a...

"Dante?! Dante is that you?!"...a sword. It was the figure of a sword; a sword that for a moment, that 'consciousness in human form' seemed to recognize. *2

"Uh?"However, when that 'consciousness' held the hilt of the sword between its hands, to then place it in front of its 'face', it realized that the 'appearance' of the sword and its 'presence' were far from 'Devil-Sword-Dante'"No, you're not 'Dante'. But then, what are you supposed to be 'you'?"The sword itself looked a lot like 'Rebellión', Although it was also far from it. The entire color of the sword, both its hilt and its blade, had a silvery-metallic color, identical to that of the blade of 'Rebellion' but its hilt had a simpler design, and in turn there were 'drawn' small 'channels' resembling vertical circuits on this hilt, 'circuits' that emitted a dark-red light, which bathed with its light the metallic figure in the shape of a large human skull with an open mouth, a figure that 'pointed' to the lower end of the hilt.

On each side of the human skull, 'born' what appeared to be the portion of an 'angelic wing', or at least that impression was given; seen from the front, it seemed that from the human skull, 'born' a pair of metallic angelic wings. Below that human skull, the sword widened a bit, giving the impression of a 'neck' that ended up becoming a wider sword blade, and on whose surface (of all the blade) seemed to be 'drawn' the ribs of a skeleton. The width and length of the blade was about the same size as 'Devil-Sword-Dante', when this was not 'opened' of course, so the overall size of the sword and its width exceeded 'Rebellion' a bit, and far exceeded the size of any other western style sword. *3

"Hmmmmmm. Now that I remember, Wukong pulled out of my body, no rather, pulled out of my soul a strange sword when he wanted to steal 'something' from me. And 'Eve' told me that the sword that represented the will and existence of 'Dante' obviously split in two when I separated from the 'Devil', so..."Toni's conscience, held that sword tightly and 'closed' his eyes, feeling with it, the 'essence' of that sword"I think I got it. You used to be the core that 'represents' the will and existence of the human side of 'Dante', me. And now you have become the 'Core' that represents my will and existence as 'Nephalem'. I wonder if your 'former state' was the cause of this new body acquiring super-human attributes?" With that thought in mind, Toni analyzed that he had most probably been wrong with the conjectures he had made in the past, about why he possessed super-human powers. "Dante's" wish was to live a normal life next to a loving family, he never wanted to retain 'power', but since his former self was an absurd existence, the human side of the sword that 'Dante' was, must have retained a 'decent' level magic after he separated. And that magic perhaps was what altered the 'vessel' into which the human side of his soul entered, and not the demonic desire as such. It was a 'side effect' of being both a human and a 'magic sword'. And maybe because of that, the new body didn't 'degrade' like "V's body"; Or maybe that was because his soul, 'consumed' the life expectancy of the Japanese 'container'...?...And why couldn't he 'feel' it and 'manifest' it in the past?..."Aaaah, If I see 'Eve' again I'll ask her what exactly happened *Sigh* Understanding this is too complicated. I'm too complicated...Or the sword is? Ok, stop thinking about it, or you'll get a headache. Now then, how am I supposed to use the authorities that I wi...Uuuuuh?"

As that thought crossed his 'head', in that mental passage, from one moment to the next, floating in front of him, two things appeared: A gigantic egg, and a figure that seemed to be the abstract, flying 'image' of a 'diagram' resembling a 'Roulette Wheel' reminiscent of a 'Roulette Wheel of Fortune', which had several figures in its design; In the center of the roulette wheel, was a central 'circle' that had the figure of a humanoid 'Metallic' monkey drawn on it, or at least it looked like a steel statue of a humanoid monkey. Obviously that drawing represents Sun-wukong...

(Author's note: Imagine the 'roulette' of Godou's authority 10 incarnations seen in the anime, but with the figures I will describe. And no, it won't work as Godou's authority at all; this 'symbolic representation of wukong's authority' is just another way in which I 'pay tribute' to the original series).

...But in the other 7 sections around that central circle, the drawings didn't have much meaning; From left to right, those other 7 sections had the following scribbles, which the Ex-Sparda could hardly relate to anything he knew: A bearded and mustachioed monk, An open book with blank pages except for an area where Toni's name was written (partially crossed out), for some reason, A tree whose top abounded with some kind of fruit, A bottle that seemed to be a bottle of liquor, Some pills, A thing that seemed to be the fusion of a pear with the face of a newborn baby, And the classic image of a 'Buddha' in meditation position.

Seeing and feeling the divinity coming from those 'things', almost as if it were a sixth sense, Toni knew that those were the powers he had acquired by killing Ddraig and Sun-Wukong. At the same time to his 'head' came 'words' that apparently had the function of 'activating' those authorities, although for some reason despite knowing the 'incantations', he didn't know exactly what those 'things' could do; He had a 'hunch' that the 'egg' would serve as 'something' he could use to 'attack', and that the 'roulette' would give him 'defensive' capabilities, but it was just that, a 'hunch'.

"Hmmmm. 'Eve' doesn't explain to me how to use this...Maybe she don't consider it necessary?...If they function as an SG, I guess the information will come into my 'head' when I activate them as it does with the artificial SG's I've used? Or will I have to learn their abilities by trial and error?" Toni really didn't know what to think about the abilities that egg might have, let alone understand and/or imagine what functions the roulette might have, let alone understand why they had acquired those forms within their mental passage. Perhaps they had adapted to something that he could understand.

The latter was only a crude conjecture to which he arrived, after opening his eyes, when his consciousness returned to the 'mortal world'. He was in that bathroom again.

"What if...?" Upon 'awakening' curiosity soon invaded his thoughts, so he was tempted (for a moment) to use some of his new powers, until the idea was eliminated when he thought of that huge egg"No, better not... I don't think it's a good idea to experiment here with something that puts Azzazel's artificial SGs to shame *Sigh* I'll settle for this instead"Saying that, the Kusanagi tried to 'physically' manifest the sword that 'lived' inside him. For a moment he felt some resistance, and the sensation that 'something' was burning inside himself; His muscles creaked, and his 'spirit' felt for an instant in 'flames', but after placing more willpower in his desire, he finally managed to 'manifest' that part of himself after particles of light gathered near one of his hands"That's it. Good girl" Taking it from the hilt, the boy brought the blade of the sword close to his face and then an expression full of pride and joy was printed on the face reflected on that blade"I wonder how I should call you?"In a way he felt more complete having this in his hands; another portion of 'Dante' had accompanied him to this new life, and that was something that for obvious reasons made him happy in many ways"Nephalem Sword"He didn't feel it was as powerful as 'Devil-Sword Dante' was, and besides, it was only a 'portion' of that sword, so Toni soon came up with a new name that would be more suitable"Nephalem Sword Ex-Dante. Doesn't sound bad~" That said, our hero 'played' a bit with the sword in the bath; he swung it a few times while performing some cool moves; at the same time, a red 'flying and spinning sword' that looked 'spectral' spun around the body of the Kusanagi's body. All this went on for about ten seconds, until the boy considered that it was time to finish his shower"Good, Ex-Dante. There will be more time to get to know each other better. At this rate, the girls are going to think I didn't take a bath and instead I clog the toilet~"Said that, the boy finished his shower, and put on that set of clothes that Raynare provided him, a change of clothes that again brought out a bitter expression from his person —"Don't they have shirts that aren't blue?"—He thought frustratedly, before heading to the Occult Research Club (ORC).

When Toni opened the ORC´s door...

"Issei!"...He was immediately glad to see his friend, in a conscious state.

"Hey Toni! It's good to see you again!"

"Same here, dude. How are you feeling? Anything out of the ordinary?"

"No, I just feel a little weak...And...Empty?...I wouldn't know how to explain it."

"Oh...I'm sorry to hear that...In a way, even if you don't believe me, I think I know what you mean."

"Yes?"

"I definitely know that feeling...But let's forget about that for a moment. Have they told you what happened yet?"

Inside the ORC only Raynare, Koneko, Kiba, plus the Hyodou were present, scattered in various ways; Raynare was sitting in a corner, and was looked at with disgust by Koneko, who for some reason focused her eyes a lot on the black-haired girl's tail. Kiba on the other hand, was sitting in a very shapely manner, and for some reason, was looking at Toni as if he was a freak. However, Toni ignored the others for a moment, and focused on the brown-haired boy, whom he hugged for a moment as a comrade. Hyodou hugged him back with much gratitude in between, and then chatted a bit with him, near the ORC´S window, where Toni led him to talk a bit 'in private', by using low tones of voice.

"This...Yes...*Sigh*, Buchou already told me a big part of that matter. Son-Goku took over my body, and then My Sacred-Gear..."

When Toni touched on that topic, Issei broke away from him a little: that sentence brought out an expression that mixed discomfort and sadness at the same time. The boy's discouragement was noticeable.

"Aaaah, *Sigh* I'm so sorry that happened to you Issei. *Sigh* We did our best, but..."

"...Yeah, I know, no worries. It sounds like it was a crazy thing to go through, doesn't it?. In any case, I'm so grateful to you! You saved me for the second time! All of You helped save me, and I didn't expect that...!"

"You don't have to thank me or anyone dude, after all, we couldn't leave you in the hands of a crazy monkey. And it could have been worse, you could have been left with an inordinate craving for bananas~"In his own way, by placing a hand on his shoulder, Toni tried to lift his spirits, which partially worked, as Issei smiled slightly at hearing him, at the same time wiping the watery eye that had formed.

"Heh. Thanks anyway."

"Another way to look at this situation, is that you still retain your eyesight. One more day to spy on girls, that's something to be happy to be alive for, right? *wink* *wink* And who knows, maybe now you'll get a chance to see Asia nake..."

"Shut up! I obviously don't want that!"

"Mr. Dante-San! Looks like your head finally recovered!"

Issei shutting Toni's slack mouth with his bare hands was no coincidence, for with his Supernatural Ear as a reincarnated demon, he knew that the nun was already on the other side of the ORC's side door, which opened the next instant, revealing a golden-haired nun who didn't take long to greet our hero, who put on a confused face for some reason, when he saw Asia, Rias, Sona, Tsubaki, and Akeno, who strangely came pulling a small table with wheels with have a tray of food with a cake on it. ...And cones?

"Strange...I could have sworn I could hear her voice, and the others long before they came in...Uh, those are Pizza cones!? And tomato juice?!". Toni's first thought, was soon replaced by the appetite that was whetted in his stomach as he more clearly observed the food approaching on that little table.

"Wait, Wait, Wait, Wait, ...I'm the Japan's King now?!"

"Your 'majesty', that's just what I alrready tell you. You are now the owner of both the island of Hokkaido, and the Japanese Archipelago. That is the law that governs the human world when a new 'Nephalem' is born, and at present no faction has the right to break that law"

"Akira-Dono; It is just as Rias has just explained to you. When you was reborn as a 'Nephalem', you have the responsibility to primarily protect the territory where you were born, and in turn, you are given the authority to do whatever you want with said territory. No human government and/or its 'magical' military forces can do anything to oppose the will of a 'True Devil King', and the supernatural factions that dominate territories where a 'Nephalem' is born, have an obligation to cede power, for the sake of the peace and safety of their species. So from the moment of your 'rebirth', we, are no longer the leaders of this territory."

(ㆆ o ㆆ)- At first, Toni believed Rias and Akeno's words, when they told him that the food they had brought was because they would celebrate both the victory over 'Sun-Wukong', and Issei's rescue. Which was only a half-truth; The Kusanagi had a high level of suspicion that another equally important matter was brewing behind the scenes because:

1) the food on that little table, except for the cake, were again other types of food that he adored, and he highly doubted that this was an extremely fortuitous coincidence.

2) Everyone, including 'Raynare' began to behave in a very strange way; at first they adopted extremely formal attitudes before sitting in the armchairs around a large circular table (where the food was placed), and then they sat in such a way that he was right in front of Rías and Sona. That table that had not even been there yesterday. Afterwards, they ate in a very 'noble' manner, and no one complained, not even Rias, Sona or Raynare (from whom he expected a complaint), when he consumed his food like an animal and/or when he made some kind of bad joke. And for some reason, Kiba, Akeno and Tsubaki were looking at him as if he was some kind of 'Ghost', while Koneko looked too shocked every time her eyes were fixed on her 'Senpai'. The only ones who were looking at him normally, basically were Issei, and Asia, who didn't seem to fully understand the situation, and/or perhaps were uninformed, however given the strange atmosphere that manifested itself, they kept very quiet.

3) When he asked how he and 'Raynare' had arrived at the Kuoh academy last night, Rias replied as follows, with a hint of sarcasm whenever she uttered certain words, or perhaps it was discomfort? In any case, this was what she said"Your 'majesty', last night, 'you' suffered from a 'cerebral' short circuit so to speak: After waking up in the middle of that ruined city, Your 'majesty' rescued the Presum...the divine ancestor 'Raynare', and then Sona, and I, guided to you to the academy so that 'Raynare' could receive Asia's treatment. And shortly after that...Your 'majesty' Destr...We took 'you' to a place where 'you' could sleep comfortably."

4) Those sentences generated too many doubts in the Kusanagi; both for what he had done today before morning, and for how Rias was treating him. And he didn't like at all the 'distance' that was being marked in his 'relationship' with the redhead through that 'modality' in the conversation. However, he thought it was a joke, so he let it go; Rías later explained to him in more detail this brain 'short circuit' he had suffered, which surprised him to a great extent.

5) When he asked about his family, and the state of Kuoh City, and Higashikawa City, Sona took the 'reins' of the conversation, but at all times used the suffix 'Dono' when naming him. And 'dono' was basically the Japanese version of the Title 'Lord' and/or 'Sir' used to name royalty in Britain. At this point, Toni's suspicions were already extremely high, but a part of him still thought it was an extremely elaborate joke by everyone present, so he let her continue to use the suffix 'Dono' to name him, while he told her the story: Basically, Rias's Peerage, Sona's Peerage, plus all the noble demons taking refuge in the academy, and their peerages had worked in 'hurried steps' during the early morning to restore Kuoh city with magic, and to erase the memory of the inhabitants of both this city, and Higashikawa city; which had been impossible to repair given that the amount of civilian deaths would not correspond to an 'intact city', so the surviving humans were placed with the 'idea' that a meteorite had brought the misfortune. Fortunately, most of the humans in Kuoh didn't remember that they had been monkeys, so with the analysis of this 'sample', the inhabitants of other cities and regions of Hokkaido were 'implanted with the idea' that the riots and minor destruction in the infrastructure of their cities were caused by an anarchist 'organization', whose whereabouts are 'already being sought'.

On the other hand, Toni's family was in perfect condition, and had already been relocated to their home before dawn. They should now be going about their typical day-to-day activities. In addition, they were implanted with the 'idea' that Toni had stayed at Issei's house yesterday, so it would not seem strange for Toni to return home in the afternoon or evening. Honestly, Toni only gave his full attention to Sona in this last part, for that was what really mattered to him. That his current family was in perfect condition, was something that released another great burden he had on his shoulders; Whether or not information leaked out, or whether or not there were casualties, was something he couldn' t control. Although now he understood why practically the entire Gremory Group, plus Sona and Tsubaki seemed so tired...

And finally, when the meal was finally over, they started a 'crazy' conversation where it was explained to him that he was now the 'King' of Japan, because of some kind of law that he was just learning about: A law that was supposedly created to prevent a Nephalem from eradicating a large number of the members of an 'unweakened' faction and/or to prevent it from eradicating all the members of an already weakened faction, like the biblical faction, if some of its members decided to fight for the domination of a territory. Apparently something like this happened in Japan a few centuries ago; Oda Nobunaga together with her army of 'magical soldiers' and 'Nephilim' allies eradicated so many gods of the Buddhist and Shinto faction that now these mythologies are so weakened that they prefer to interfere in the slightest with the human world.

That he became extremely powerful overnight was one thing...But there had to be a limit to the level of 'ridiculousness' that drove this world!

Which King of Japan?, which one to take over Hokkaido?, which one to go to the archipelago to claim the 'Throne' in front of the entire Nipponese magical society?

He only cared about protecting his loved ones with the power he had now, and that he could enter the 'big leagues' of mercenary contracts. Of course he didn't care about obtaining a territory to rule, let alone taking over the administration of an entire island!

"...And that is why this meeting, is also meant to negotiate the 'terms' of your new government, Akira-Dono. Whether the devils and fallen angels of this island, stay or go to hell, will depend solely on your authority as the new 'King' of these lands."

"Uh...?" Hearing the Sitri's conclusion, our hero's brain stopped for a moment as his mouth formed an 'O' just as a Tics in one of his eyelids manifested itself as it was provoked by both the discomfort he felt at being treated like a noble, and the nervousness he felt at the thought that he would have to get to rule and administer an entire country. Fuck them!, he wasn't going to send Sona and Rias back to hell, let alone the other demons or fallen angels, if it meant he would have to administer this place!; Something similar flashed through his mind, as his brain regained its main functions.

"Now then, since you have finally understood the implications your 'Rebirth' brought, do you have any royal decrees to give us?". Swinging her right arm gracefully, Sona 'invited' the 'king' to speak. She looked quite serious, just like Rias, and almost everyone else.

*Big Sigh*: Once he heard such a statement, the Ex-Sparda let out the most complex emotions that began to gather from the moment he was treated as a 'noble', and then thought a bit about what he should respond, and what he should do. Obviously he was going to deny his 'throne', but after thinking about it for at least a minute, if these 'girls' in charge of the 'organization' and 'laws' of the Island allowed him to give a royal 'decree' that would 'spread' across Hokkaido, he believed that he could at least do some 'good' for his home, before abandoning his duties as a 'King'; That's what he thought about when he focused his attention mainly on Asia and Issei, who were the ones who gave him an idea for one of his 'decrees'; He wanted them to have a little easier 'life', after what they had been through. And incidentally, he also wanted to spare himself 'hassles' of the 'treated like a noble' (or similar) type in the future.

"Well, I can't take it anymore *Sigh* If you want royal decrees, here's three for you..."He spoke with a hint of annoyance in his tone of voice. Drops of nervous sweat appeared on both Sona, and Rias at that moment; Though perhaps they weren't due to his annoyed voice, but the possibilities that the following sentences from the 'King'"First of all, treat me like you always have, and call me by my name or my 'alter-ego' name, not by that 'Your Majesty' or 'Dono' crap. I didn't go through a freaking planet of the apes type apocalypse with you, so you now treat me like a 'Noble' that you're afraid of. I'm still the same person as yesterday, only with more magical power"At hearing this, Rias and Sona released a small, barely perceptible sigh; they were probably releasing the accumulated nerves of 'a certain' situation. Afterwards they nodded their heads, just like everyone else; some of them also said: 'I understand, I'm sorry' Something that didn't reassure the Kusanagi, as he didn't know anymore if they were doing it because he told them, or because truly those near-death experiences had brought them closer, and honestly, at least with Rias he hoped the latter was the case, as a big part of him no longer saw her as a simple 'tool' he could use for a 'favor' but as something close to a 'Good friend' (Issei and Asia didn't even count, because they seemed more confused than he was). In any case, he didn't take long to open his mouth again, after he gave a quick glance to Asia and Issei while smiling slightly after observing them for some reason that the others would soon understand"Secondly, from now on, my mother's beloved Hokkaido, and especially Kuoh, is a territory as neutral as I am with respect to the biblical factions, or any other. I don't care if you hate each other to death among priests, Fallen Angels, or devils; On this island, if a fallen angel wants to go to the movies with a devil to watch a 'Goreporn' movie, or if a nun wants to give a 'pikachu' to an ogre, they'll be allowed to do so. And if you want to fight each other, get the hell out of international waters, and then behave like Francis Drake~"

He couldn't help but give that sentence with his characteristic sarcasm since he already felt very weird about himself giving a 'True Order' that was far, far away from his usual (or the not usual) behavior, nevertheless, he forced himself to behave that way for Issei and Asia; After all they had been through, he wanted to give them a 'gift' before leaving his 'Throne'; He couldn't help it, their tragic situation reminded him for a moment of the daughters of his old (and deceased) friend 'Grue', so he forced himself to be 'Magnanimous' for the sake of improving their lives a little, just like he did with 'Grue's' daughters by giving them most of his 'income' in secret for a long time.

Hearing that statement, almost everyone present was left open-mouthed for a moment, and probably would have uttered a complaint, if they were not by the side of the 'Legitimate King' of Hokkaido, and if they were not already shocked by the implications that such a 'decree' would have. Most likely the heiress of the Sitri clan, and the Heiress of the Gremory clan, never expected that such a thing would come from the Kusanagi' lips. Naturally, Issei, and Asia, were the ones who rather than surprised, looked joyful.

"So. Finally, govern yourselves."

"Wait, Akira-San, what?!"

"How?!...Can you be more specific 'your maj'...I mean, Dante, what do you mean?"

"That beyond what I already said, I don't plan to 'command' this 'kingdom' at all!. Do you really think I'd be interested in being a 'president'? I'm not even a good student! I'm just a 'mercenary', girls! I assassinate crazy creatures for a price~ I don't get into politics, much less organize or lead the 'people', Cappici?~. Let alone i will become a 'King' like that crazy woman Oda Nobunaga! Keep Hokkaido to yourselves, I don't care what you do on this site, as long as it's not 'Stray Devil' type stuff. Otherwise, even if Fallen angels or devils organize a well degenerate coven or kill chickens as a tribute to Satan; those things matter as little to me as a blind man cares about silent movies~"

"..."

"..."

For a moment, Rias and Sona were speechless, just like Tsubaki, Akeno, and everyone who didn't know him too well. Issei actually kind of expected something like that after he understood the situation more; However, a barely perceptible smile was drawn on the sitri and gremory's lips as they looked at each other for a brief moment as if they were up to something and/or as if they had connived some plot.

Next to speak was Sona, who only seemed to want to confirm the "King's" words.

"Akira-San, are you sure about that decision? If you are aware that as an 'Acting King' you could go to Japan to take the nation's treasure and you wouldn't be blamed?"

"Oh come on Sona! I know I've been the worst student in the history of this school, and you know I'm many things, but definitely not a rat!"

"Certainly...I don't find fault with your logic" At that instant, for the first time, Toni noticed a mammoth smile on Sona's face, although it was of the 'Ironic' type. The strange thing was that she had also blushed a little, probably because she thought the 'King' was annoyed "Still, don't mistake the purpose of my question, Akira-san. I simply asked out of pure curiosity, not because I thought of you being able to do that. After all, with the strength and speed you already had prior to your 'rebirth', you could have stolen the nation's treasure at any time. Or abuse your power in a variety of other ways."

"You know? That last analysis was completely unnecessary -_-. And taking advantage of the moment, could you call me once and for all as Toni, or Dante? Akira is not my favorite name."

"I refuse. I like that name better". In silence left most of the people present the unassailable decision that the Sitri gave to the 'King' just as she adjusted her glasses. It is unknown why Sona was so implacable in her decision.

"You refuse? I thought you would obey whatever royal 'decree' came out of my mouth~"

"And that's what I'm doing. I'm just following the logic of the 'decree' issued a moment ago, where you demanded to be treated like anyone else, Akira-San. And besides, you just abandoned your authority as a 'Acting King', and appointed me and 'Rias' as 'General Administrators' of the 'kingdom', so you can't create any more 'decrees' or am I wrong?". The wry smile of the sitri clan's heiress, again made its presence known at the end of her sentence. Whether she was actually following the 'decree' or just playing with him is unknown.

"Uh?. Forget it...", but for mental health, the ex-sparda decided to believe that she was just pulling his leg.

"I assume that with this, the negotiations have come to an end. I must admit, I never expected this day to end this way *Sigh* Dante, you were a 'cruel' but 'just King'...And with the shortest 'reign' in history~"

"Well, that's the attitude of the Rias I know. Don't even think of calling me 'your majesty' again, eh". Noting the redhead's sarcasm, Dante couldn't help but rejoice at the fact that his 'decree' didn't seem to be what 'drove' her to treat him like in the past.

"Oh don´t worry, even to me that seemed ri..."

"...Ch!"

"...Ouch!...Don't worry Dante. You see, I had never been in the presence of a 'Nephalem' before, and that made me very nervous; There are books that mention that some members of your 'species' can come to have personality changes upon 'rebirth'. But now that I saw that you're still the same 'crazy' one, I'll treat you as usual~"

"...I'm not crazy!...[-_O]"As he spent more time at the ORC, and the more he talked to them, Toni felt that someone here was pulling his leg in one way or another. After he left his 'Throne', Sona, and Rias almost immediately returned to their regular 'behaviors', and they also seemed too suspicious. They looked too much at each other. A moment ago, Sona shushed Rias in some way? He could have sworn the table moved...Or maybe Toni was just too paranoid?. Whatever the case, the Gremory's next taunt, and the Sitri's subsequent opinion, would distract him from his paranoia.

"No Nephalem think normally, you know?. That's why they become god slayers in the first place! Ufufufu!"

"I agree with Rias. No Nefalem thinks in terms that can be considered 'normal'. It's a rule shared by your entire species."

"...My Species?...Wait...How many more like me are out there currently?"

"Actually, you have become the Sixth Son of Eve, Akira-San."

"Sixth?!"

-o-o-o-o-o-o

After being told a bit about his other 'siblings', and it was decided that Asia would temporarily stay at the Hyodou's house (after the Kusanagi asked out of sheer curiosity what she planned to do, and despite the slight 'resignation' that could be seen in Rías' face) Toni considered that it was time to leave, because he wanted to make sure with his own eyes that his family was well, so with his typical informality and sarcasm he got up from his chair and said goodbye to the people present, leaving very different reactions in the process;

"Well, as I was saying, Arrivederci, 'Secretaries' of the Kingdom. Skinny Legs you didn't do too bad yesterday, Koneko-Chan keep kicking the doors, Akeno, don't change *Wink*, Tsubaki stop seeing me as a weirdo~ Take care of yourself in that house, Asia, seriously, watch your every step~. See you tomorrow at the clasroom Issei!"

"You're going to see him tomorrow at the clasroom?". Rias really didn't expect that. She thought that now she really wanted to meet him, she would have to call him at his 'business' number and/or look for him at 'his work'.

"Akira-San. Are you going to keep coming to the academy?". Sona's expression seemed even more puzzled than Rias', her eyes flickered multiple times, though a slight, barely perceptible smile betrayed the preponderant feeling on her person.

"Now that if I didn't see coming". Issei seemed to be in strong agreement with the two of them.

"Uh? Yeah? I guess I'll come to the academy tomorrow...Why shouldn't I?"

"Akira-San, Due to your background, both school and your 'rebirth', and your predilection for your 'work', I guess we all thought that you would no longer attend classes."

"Aaaah". Toni nodded his head multiple times, agreeing strongly with that analysis, "You are certainly not far wrong. I'm not interested in classes, but since I don't have much to do in the mornings, hanging out wandering around and bothering all of you, doesn't sound a bad idea~ But more important than that, the strawberry ice cream at the school cafeteria is one of the best in this town! How Chef Murayama achieves that taste? I don´t understand! May be he have a mouse living in his hat~"

"..."The most 'surprised' and/or 'offended' of all after that exposition of such 'superfluous' reasons for attending a school, naturally was the Sitri. Although it's not as if (after getting to know him a little better) she wouldn't have fully expected something like that "Basically, you'll just use the academy for your personal entertainment; To hang out."

"Yup!"

"..."Everyone else's reactions were very mixed. Some didn't know if it was a good idea to have such a 'Beast' walking around the academy (Tsubaki), others were grateful to have such a powerful 'guardian' in case of a enemy that might come along in the future (Akeno, Koneko), some felt indifferent (Kiba), others happy for the fact that they could see him more often than they expected (Issei, Asia, Rias), and finally, one of them had a 'cross' reaction, which consisted of a headache, a big sigh, and a wry smile (Sona).

"Well, see you tomorrow. Chao, Cha..."

"Wait, you can't leave without me. Now you have to take care of me!". Before the Kusanagi walked out of that door, the one who had been the quietest of the gathering finally opened her mouth.

"uh?! I guess I didn't hear right,". Toni used his index finger to pretend to rummage one of his ears, since what he heard, puzzled him quite a bit in many ways, "What did you say, midget?"

"That you have to take care of me from now on! That's what I wanted to talk to you about in this place"

"..." For a moment Toni couldn't find the right words to give an answer to such a sentence, not at least not until a smirk was drawn on his lips, at the same time he expelled the feeling that had already been born inside him "Hahahahaha!"

"I'm not kidding!"

"Oh, you were serious?, then let me laugh louder, Hahahahahahaha!"

"If you leave me to my fate, I'm going to get killed!"

"Hahahahaha...Eh?...what do you mean?"

"I'm helpless; Because of Sun-Wukong I can't use magic, and they know it! I'm in mortal danger!"

"Uh? What do you mean you can't use magic? Well, Well, Well. Explain yourself at once. What happened to you?"

"In short, That 'shot' I received from the Great Sage sealed my magic, and that's why I can no longer hide my appearance...Or create any other spells with which I can defend myself. or transport myself to another place. Literally, I am as vulnerable as a 14 year old girl! So protect me from the bats! Tell them to stay away from me, and Take me to your house!"

"..." Toni tried to look for 'lies' in that sentence however, to his misfortune, everything that was coming out of her mouth and her every utterance told him that she was speaking the truth. Not to mention, he could barely make out a magical aura from Raynare, now that he 'examined' her in greater detail than he had a few hours ago.

"You wanted information about Samiel too, didn't you?. We had a deal! Keep your end of the bargain!"

"The deal you and I closed, didn't include the care of a Puber girl!"

"Hmmmp! But if you said, and I quote, 'If you agree to give me information of Samiel, you'll walk out of here with me alive, and you'll have a chance to ask Azzazel what's been going on with the Sacred-Gears users, and the divine monkey artifact'...and if I die, you won't have kept your word!"

"Hey, hey, hey, hey, I just meant to get you out of that church, and take you to see Azzazel. I don't have to take care of you. And besides, why would you die? I just 'decreed', that everyone on this island should behave like Hippies at Woodstock~"

"And how do you know they're going to keep their word?! They could attack me at any time, and pretend they didn't do anything! Or send a secret assassin after my head!"

"You've seen too many action movies~ Jonh Wick isn't real, get it! No pencil or book will end your life~"

"I agree with Dante. You're giving yourself too much importance!"

"And I agree with Akira-San and Rias. Besides, despite the 'King' having a 'curious' way about him, the negotiations we conduct here are serious business. And neither I, nor Rias, or any of our servants, have any intention of 'breaking' these negotiations."

"I'm not interested in taking down a girl who is just a mere ally of the 'fallen'". Now Yuuto gave his opinion, which for some reason sounded rather 'cold'.

"You supported Toni-Kun on several occasions, so consider yourself lucky that you made the right decisions". Just as cold as Akeno's opinion. It seemed they didn't like things to do with fallen angels at all.

"You tried to kill me two days ago, but if my friend says so, I guess I'll just pretend you don't exist"

"I don't like you" Koneko didn't look like she had much to say, her eyes focused on the catlike tail of the divine ancestor.

"I don't even know who you are" Tsubaki put on a face as stoic as Thanos.

"Raynare-San, how about staying together at Issei-San's house?"

"Eeeeh?!". Hyodou was shocked for a moment after that suggestion issued innocently and tenderly by Asia. He wanted to complain immediately, but seeing those 'pure' eyes eager to help others, he was speechless like every man who doesn't want to disappoint his 'crush'. On the other hand, at this point, the divine ancestor's eyes had already become moist; although after listening to the nun, a small tear managed to recede.

"Oh, good idea Asia!. See, no one is interested in 'hunting' you. Go on, Asia already offered you a house, go with her. Guys, see you tomorrow!"

"No wait! Don't leave me like this! I saved your life! I saved your life not once, but twice! How can you be so inconsiderate?!"

Despite feeling happy for the nun's good intentions, Raynare considered the king's final decision to be insane. Of course she wasn't going to let her be taken care of by her enemies, the devils! At any moment they could kill her even if they said otherwise!

Of course the order of the new 'king' was clear, but still nothing could assure her that they were going to keep their word at 100%, so she chased the Kusanagi after he left the ORC's room. She chased him, and chased him, and insisted and insisted; Her survival depended on it.

A few hours ago...

*Badum* *Badum* *Badum* *Badum*-When she left the infirmary room, and reached the hallway outside, 'Raynare' was drenched in sweat. Her heart was pounding at an inhuman speed, and it almost sounded like a panicked 'engine'.

*Big Sigh*-With a sigh that tried to release a lot of tension, she tried to calm down as much as she could as she continued walking down the corridor. Since she approached that 'man' she felt the most terrible fear; She couldn't even sleep while she was 'watching him': that was just a lie!; She wasn't able to bear the tension, so when she arrived to that armchair at dawn, she closed her eyes and tried to imagine that she wasn't next to a 'Nephalem'.

Why did she decide to be there then? Well, she had to make sure the first part of her 'Plan'; she had to make sure that this Ex-human was still the same crazy but 'Noble' hearted boy she met and protected the day before, she had to make sure he hadn't become a tyrant or an even bigger madman after being 'reborn': Now he was a 'Beast' with a power that could crush her at any moment if he wished, and as a divine ancestor, she felt before him as a helpless prey, since she is a 'creature' who was born from the archenemies of a 'Nephalem', a God. Fortunately her fear and worries began to 'recede' little by little when she realized that the 'cowboy' had not changed at all after being reborn.

For her own sake, she had to make sure of that first! She had received a magic 'shot' that contained some kind of spell that sealed her magic; She deduced that after finishing off the Kusanagi yesterday, the monkey king had planned to torture her for intervening in the fight, so he made sure not to kill her with that 'hit', but at the same time 'sealed' the magic in her 'veins and spiritual reservoir' to prevent her from escaping.

Why then had she acted so recklessly for that boy?; That she still doesn't know for sure. But when she saw him being tortured so brutally by the monkey king her body moved before she even thought about it. She felt that somehow he was asking for help, and perhaps, the 'angel' she once was, 'she' couldn't ignore that 'call', let alone from someone who had already tried to do so much for the humans on this island. However, Without a doubt, what she had done was practically suicide!; saving him from the hands of a Heretic-God, and worse with Wukong being the new 'Sekiryuutei' was beyond any survival instinct she possessed and/or had self-imposed since she had become a 'divine ancestor'.

*Badum* *Badum*: With her heart calmer after having confirmed the 'Nobility' in the heart of the new 'Arisen', she sighed again to release all her remaining nervousness, and then went over her plan again: With her magic sealed, she was now completely helpless; She could no longer create spells that mimicked the 'authority' of the 'light of angels', or that enhance her physical strength and/or durability, and/or any other spell or incantation. Wow, she couldn't even fly with the remnant of her angelic wing to escape from danger!...And that's why, she feared for her life, she was completely helpless...so first of all she needed that 'Nephalem' to become more familiar with her, and after that, she was going to find an excuse to get that 'Noble Beast' to protect her, at least until she regained her magical power; After all, there's nothing better to protect a 'damsel in distress' than a 'Prince', or so she learned from mythology.

*Open*:When her hands turned the knob on the main door of the ORC, the divine ancestor thought of all the potential threats she now had: The devils of this school had not attacked her for two reasons; 1) It seemed they were at least 'decent' enough to respect the 'non-aggression' deal they formed since she arrived with 'Dante' here, and 2) From what she hears from Asia, and from the Sitri and Gremory clan leaders (reluctantly) That 'Noble Monster' had done a lot for her yesterday, to keep her from dying; So maybe a portion of his subconscious somehow felt 'indebted' to her and/or maybe he liked her? ...No matter what the reason! The 'Noble Beast' who was now the 'King' of this island and all of Japan held her in high esteem, so they couldn't afford to attack her. Aaaah, but nothing would stop them from sneaking up to her or sending someone else for her head.

And besides the devils on this island, she had many more enemies out there; Having lived on Grigori and done work for Grigori for the past 100 years in 'the interest' of regaining her divinity, had only filled her with more problems than solutions.

And hiding on her own was not an option either. Without magic, she would be found quickly if someone wanted to 'hunt' her down; so she needed to convince the new 'King' of these lands to protect her somehow. That's why she infiltrated the infirmary when she had the chance, that's why she went ahead to check his personality, that's why she wanted the other girls to watch and listen as he openly 'said' that he would take care of her...Although, she never expected that her plan would not turn out to be exactly as she wanted and/or that she would go through such an embarrassment in front of the 'devilish children', and Asia.

Later, at the ORC.

Two women had a conversation when they finally found themselves without the presence of their servants.

"Sona, I still think it was unnecessary to treat him that way. I had already figured very clearly, that Toni was not in the least interested in ruling Hokkaido or Japan."

"You still don't know him well enough, Rias. We had to make sure that he found the idea of becoming a 'King' incredibly upsetting. The profile I managed to put together of his personality indicated that was the most sensible way to approach this unexpected situation. And besides..."

"And besides, what?"

"I must admit, after all the trouble he's caused the student council, the school and the teachers, it was rather 'curious' to see him react that way."

"Sona, is that a mischievous smile?"

"No, of course not."

"Aha."

"In any case, I never expected him to go and give any 'decrees', let alone one like that. *Sigh* There'll be so much we'll have to tell our families...And so much to organize."

"I know *Sigh*. I don't know how 'Onii-Sama' and Grayfia will react, when I tell them that 'Dante' the 'Nephaalem' was just born in this territory, and that he also ordered us to live in peace. They will want to meet him, and re-negotiate, most likely; Now I understand why he wants us to hide his true identity; he wants to avoid future 'discomfort' in his private life. Do you think Serafall-Sama will also...?"

"By Lilith, no!. I don't even want to think about what she's going to do when I tell her that we're facing a Heretic-God. Much less do I want to think about what might happen if she meets the new 'King' of humanity who was born in the territory where her 'little sister' lives. She's going to threaten him not to hurt me, or even want to confront..."

"I understand *Sigh* Although...Hmmmmm...We might as well tell the Satans, that he's become an ally. Which isn't far from reality, at the moment. He's a bit 'crazy', and he's too 'infamous' and foolish, but he's also incredibly noble, so I think we can continue to 'cultivate' our 'relations' with him; I hope he sees me at least as a friend after all we've been through. Who knows? Maybe down the road we can come to have a partnership that benefits the hell out of it."

"I don't disagree with those conjectures. But I also think he's somewhat hypocritical."

"Hypocritical? Toni?"

"Yes. He refused to consider himself a 'King', and he refused to take the responsibility of a 'King', but he didn't hesitate for a second to take advantage of his new 'Status' to 're-organize' the world around him. Alberto-Ricardo truly studied the 'Campione' in depth: they all, in one way or another, behave like 'Kings', even if they deny that part of their nature"

"Hmmmm. Interesting way of looking at it"

"Now then. What worries me most, are his ties to the leader of the fallen angels. Do you think there's any way of knowing what kind of relationship Akira-San has with the Grigori Leader?"

"I highly doubt it. *Sigh* And if I ask him about it again, he's surely going to refuse, or pretend he didn't hear anything. He seems to hold Azzazel in high esteem *Sigh* And I think it's the same case for the latter; It's not at all normal for a corrupted angelic god, to have given such a powerful Grimoire to a 'mere' human being. But in any case, at least in Hokkaido, and with 'Dante' now as a Nephalem, I don't think we have to worry about some kind of dirty 'ruse' that the Grigori Leader might come up with."

"Speaking about weapons. Will you give him the pieces you found of the sword he used against those deities?"

"Within the week I plan to do so. First I want to study this type of weaponry a bit. I've never held a Devil-Arm, or its remains, in my hands before."

"As curious as ever."

"I can't help it."

"Curiousity. Come to think of it, do you have any idea why Akira-San might have become a 'Nephalem'?. You told me he possessed not one, but 2 sacred-gears. And that makes absolutely no sense at all!"

"I haven't the slightest idea. But the fact that he was able to receive the blessing of the [Mother of Mankind] rules out that he was a Nephilim 100%. So those Sacred-Gears, in some way that I can't understand, don't belong to him or he didn't receive them at birth. But you know what else is curious?"

"What?"

"He accepts his new power so easily, It almost seems like a joke. It's as if all his life he's been used to possessing such an absurd strength. I don't know if it's another part of his madness, or if he was just pretending not to be impressed..."

"One mystery upon another. That student 'delinquent', he's wrapped in layer upon layer of secrets." She smiled slightly before continuing, "Not to mention, there's also the mystery of his mother. Will you tell him about the 'Dimerite' necklace Janina-Kusanagi wears?"

"I was thinking of doing so. Although I still don't know what would be the right time to inform him that most likely his mother is a 'Sorceress' who is 'self-sabotaging' for some reason. Geez..."

"I understand. Although given the personality he's shown so far rather than 'baffling' him, that information is sure to open his curiosity as a 'paranormal investigator'. By the way, how is your pawn's state of health continuing?. He doesn't seem to have fully recovered..."

"Thanks for asking...Issei...I don't know, I'm worried, and not only for his psychological state. *Sigh* Since he woke up, he's been extremely exhausted, and he still has this tendency to suddenly fall asleep. *Sigh* I hope this is temporary..."

"It's already a miracle that he survived having his Sacred-Gear 'ripped out', so don't confide: Something like that, shouldn't have such a simple 'solution'. Hmmmm, why don't you take him to the best devil doctor my family has? He works at the best hospital in the Sitri clan: Princeton Inferboro. Surely he should be able to properly examine your servant's condition. Also, he Knows enought about Sacred-gears"

"Geez... *Sigh* You're right, it's better to have him examined in more detail. Then, I have no choice but to trouble your family. Thank you Sona."

"It's nothing. And that reminds me...Are you sure you did the right thing with Asia-Argento?"

"Aaaaaaaah...*sigh* Issei seems to have fallen in love with her, and the same could be said for Asia. And since I can't do much to separate them anymore... *sigh*... I think having her as my bishop, is the most logical thing to do. And after all that happened my dear servant... In any case, Asia and her Sacred-Gear really helped us a lot in this crisis."

"But she is a believer of 'Him'. For her to accept the contract you suggested to her, would not be logical."

"I remind you, in love sometimes there is no logic, Sona. Ufufufu!. So I don't find it as an impossibility that she agrees to become a devil."

"...Nonsense. Even in love there is...logic."

"You don't seem very sure of your words. Ara? You're a little red, do you have a fever?"

"I'm just...*Cough*... taking out the 'nervousness' I accumulated. *Cough* *Cough* The 'Presence' of a Nephalem, even with its aura 'sleep', is impressive, and terrifying at the same time, even if you already know him in advance *Cough*.This...but...Moving on to another 'love' related topic. Do you already have a plan to avoid 'sleeping' with a Phoenix?. If you still can't find an 'answer' for your situation, you'd better start preparing your body."

"Sometimes I forget that your words can be so harsh and insensitive *sigh* "

"I'm just trying to get you to improve yourself. You need to stop feeling sorry for yours..."

"I know, I know! And believe me, I'm no longer that little girl who only plans to keep complaining and crying about the fate that was assigned to her!" Saying that, the heiress of the Sitri clan witnessed a change in Rías' body and face that surprised her quite a bit: And not only because of the determination in her eyes. With a distorted voice plus a mouth full of fangs, the redhead continued speaking "If there are two things I learned very well from 'Dante', it is that we can change our destinies, and that there is no such thing as Immortality!" At the end of her sentence, she extended her hand, and then crushed a small sphere of the power of destruction she had formed in it.

"Rias, You...!"

At dusk, in a certain home...

...A certain semi-white-haired boy wanted to put a bullet in his skull. He knew he was going to regret very much what he was about to do. In fact, he already hated himself greatly for agreeing to 'this'.

With tears still present in his 'head', he finally opened his mouth and spoke the words that would lead him to 'this'.

"You see...There is an exchange program at the Kuoh Academy, which every year randomly chooses students who will study for a semester abroad. And at the same time, kuoh academy officials randomly choose the families of the students who will host foreign students. Since the academy doesn't have residences, the homes of the families that are chosen will function as the foreign student's boarding house...And well, for the first time, our family has been selected to host a student from outside Hokkaido"

After 'Raynare' followed him, and followed him, and begged him, and begged him, and begged him (in many and various ways, which were usually pitiful, so pitiful like Aqua from Konosuba), there came a time when Toni's fed upness miraculously turned into 'pity'; which happened just as he was about to open the door of his house as he took one last look at that teary-eyed 'girl' standing in the middle of the avenue, and with a face that looked as if her 'soul' had been extracted from her body; completely fallen into disappointment and despair. What would Dante think of 'him'? Definitely that he had become weak! That his human side was too weak!...Or maybe too human?...Or that maybe instead of a mercenary, he should have worked as a leader of a children's shelter; after all, there was already Patty's background...

In any case, 'guided' by some kind of 'Patty-Protector' instinct, and grateful for the fact that she had saved him twice (as she made clear an infinite number of times), he decided to agree to comply with the 'Girl's' request, which he considered ridiculous (in many ways), from his perspective. So after entering through the window to his room to take his savings, Toni took the 'girl' to a shopping mall where he bought her a more appropriate outfit since the clothes she was wearing were too revealing for a '14 year old girl' (which made many people look at him with disgusted faces. And even a policeman was about to arrest him, if he hadn't clarified that she was his sister and that she was cosplaying), not to mention that she needed to wear pants to hide her feline tail, and suitcases full of clothes to 'pretend' she had 'traveled' from far away. On the other hand, her goblin ears were hidden by her hair.

And done that, Toni started one of the biggest lies he ever had to tell his parents and/or his little sister.

"Strange, Onii-Chan"After hearing her brother, the semi-brown-haired girl, Shizuka, was the first to give her opinion. Her eyes narrowed as she focused her attention on her brother, and the 'Girl' sitting next to him around the dining table. Besides, was unusual for her to notice the nervous sweat that was running down Toni's forehead "I've never heard of an exchange program that includes High School' 8th grades"

*Glup*: Raynare, choked a little on her saliva, after hearing the vicious words of that girl, whose 'apparent age' was identical to Raynare's. In case you were wondering, everyone else was speaking 'Japanese', so Raynare had to pretend she didn't understand them, as she was supposedly a student living in England.

"Ellen" had already caused a big surprise to both Shizuka and Toni's parents from the moment she appeared through that door: for so far their son had not brought a single woman to the house and/or ever told them about anyone he liked romantically. And because of that (among other things related to his academic life), his parents thought that Toni would not get a decent job, let alone a wife, as they thought he was 'Asexual'; So when they heard from their son's mouth that he had brought a 'woman' home they thought it was a miracle... Unfortunately, they were very disappointed when they realized that the 'woman' was a Puber, who definitely couldn't be a 'partner' for Toni...And they didn't believe he was a pedophile either, so they organized themselves to sit around the dining room table, and then they listened to the semi-white-haired man's explanation.

"You haven't heard of such a program because you don't study at Kuoh Academy , Shizu-chan". Toni tried to defend his lie tooth and nail, from his always incredulous little sister.

"Hmmmp. I don't know. Something smells funny here. Mom, Dad, what do you think?"

"Well, Shizu-Tan, actually, at the school where I teach, 'Shiketsu', they also have a similar program. Although in the case of Japanese students, it' s only offered to students who have already learned English"

[o.O]-"What the hell?"; Toni thought for a moment when he heard that 'there was a similar program': He had just said the first thing that came to his mind; He was looking for an excuse that would make sense of the fact that a '14 year old girl' was accompanying him. How lucky had he just been?

Unconcerned with her son's thoughts, the silver-haired mother continued talking.

"Ellen must be quite a dedicated student, since she was selected for something so important. But Antoni, why didn't you ever tell us in advance about this? We haven't prepared the room for visitors, and you didn't give us time to think about food either...or anything else..."

"And wasn't the school supposed to have told us about this? I mean, something like this is supposed to have parental acceptance first, right?"

"Your dad's right, didn't they give you a letter or an 'acceptance form' for us to sign?"

"...[o_O']...I forgot to tell you...And the school gave me a letter, which...Well...I signed on my own, Forging your signatures...I thought it would be fun to have a foreign student in the house, and I acted without thinking believing that you will refuse...Yes, that I did...That I definitely did..." Before such questions, the Ex-Sparda could only think of one thing; Blaming himself, and acting like the 'school delinquent' his parents knew all too well he already was.

"Geez, Onii-chan...*sigh* *sigh*...This doesn't look good for you at all" Shizuka, felt very sorry for her brother (However, her gaze narrowed again. It struck her as extremely odd that her brother was being so sincere), as she watched her mother drag one of her hands across her face, and as her father placed both hands on his forehead. They looked VERY upset.

"YOU DID WHAT?!"

"Oh come on, you've got to be kidding us, kid! How irresponsible can you be?!"

"For the record this kind of attitude he inherited from your family Godou, not from me! he definitely inherited this from you and Ichirou!"

"Don't blame me! I never did anything like...! Oh, come on! Lil...Jeanne...You can't keep blaming me for that! Especially not here!"

"Ah, sorry *Sigh* It's just that this brat is like a combined version of 'Ichirou', and 'her', but multiplied by three! And that's too much"

"I agree with that"

'Aaaaaaaah, family. For better, and for worse': A sincere smile appeared on our hero's lips after he witnessed the family drama he had unleashed as obviously, he wasn't afraid of any kind of scolding and/or punishment they would put on him. He was uncomfortable with this situation, yes, but dealing with not watching 'the TV' and/or 'playing' with his console for a month and/or not going out of the room or to the street for a month, were things that obviously couldn' t give him a good 'chastisement'. By the way, one of the things he liked most about his new family, was that they were not boring at all; among other things, there was a puzzle of his father's and grandfather's 'dark' past, which he had already put together to a great extent, and it was like a kind of 'Korean Tv-Novel' quite funny...A 'Tv-novel' that extend its 'roots' all the way to Italy, but that will be a story to be told later.

[O.O]-On the other hand, 'Raynare's' discomfort for that moment was obviously far superior to that of the semi-white haired boy, so she couldn't help but let her eyes reveal a bit of her feelings.

"Let's save the scolding and punishment of the brat for when 'Ellen' falls asleep in her room. The poor thing must be thinking we want to throw her out, or worse"

"I agree. Geez Toni *Sigh* and here I thought the whole 'squirrels', 'pudding' and the 'Yamaha' thing was the worst thing you could have done"

The Ex sparda for some reason smiled proudly when he heard that last part of Godou's sentence...

"¿?¿?¿?¿?"...Which greatly confused the red-eyed girl in the room.

But the doubts about that prank or whatever it was would never be answered, for the moment, since immediately after, Toni's parents helped 'Ellen' with her bags, and directed her to the guest room while 'Jeanne' addressed her some sentences in English that were intended to reassure her, as well as to make her feel welcome. On the other hand, Toni remained seated in that chair, waiting for his scolding and punishment, with Shizuka close to him, constantly shaking her head, and feeling sorry for her brother while also have strong suspicious about this situation.

Somewhere unknown...

Having finished stealing his latest 'item', a strange man with long white hair, dressed in black robes that might well be worn by a Grim-Reaper, returned to the place that served as his base.

The location of that site was a big, pre-prepared space that had been set up underground beneath one of Japan's urban areas.

The place was quite well hidden, so it was impossible for any of the 'houses' of 'magicians' in charge of protecting this archipelago to know its location. Those who could currently come and go in this place were only personnel authorized by this white-haired 'man', as well as by 'a certain' organization.

A certain organization, which he only considered as pawns...pawns that under his eyes, had the same function as the people who were now accompanying him in this place. Disposable pieces that could be sacrificed at any time, all in order to achieve their goal.

*Big sigh*: A goal that had recently met with an unexpected 'stumbling block'. The birth of a 'Nephalem' had definitely never been one of the results he had been looking for when he stole that 'divine artifact' from Grigori.

Having returned to his own personal base within that 'cavern', the white-haired man dressed as a 'tetric' monk opened the cap of a bottle of cognac that had been placed on top of the table in front of him: He poured some into a glass, aiming to relax.

"I'm glad to see you have returned, my lord. I see you have finally obtained the eighth 'Excalibur'. It's wonderful! Now we only need 'Excalibur Destruction' and 'Lightning Excalibur' to obtain all ten pieces, and with them, the recreation of the 'Original Excalibur' should be possible! And all thanks to his invincible strength Samiel-Sama!" One of the men sitting in those other chairs near the desk spoke shortly after the white-haired man appeared in this place. The man who had just spoken had the appearance of an old man dressed like a priest in white garments: his stature was short, his gray hair and mustache were gray, and on his nazal bridge were held reading glasses. *4

"Valper Galilei, have I told you what I did to the last human being who flattered me with false words?" After having taken a gulp of cognac, the one who held a golden sword in one of his hands, let out that sentence that caused the skin of the 'priest' to turn a pale white color as he swallowed intensely his saliva "Why can't you be more like him? Quiet, faithful to the 'divine judgment' and useful to the cause? Or at least that used to be the case, didn't it Arkham?"

"I'm sorry, I failed you, lord...My 'faith' wasn't enough! And now because of me has been born an obst...!"

"Your fault? Oh, no, no, no, no, don't place yourself in such a lofty position. Something like the failure of a mere mortal, will never be to blame for the birth of a Eva´s Son" Even knowing that the 'Witch of Paradise', had created another of her children recently, he didn't seem too concerned. His arrogant words, showed that he still felt quite capable of achieving his goal even if a 'stone' had been placed in his path "Hehehe, Observe Valper Galilei, that's a face that expresses 'faithfulness to the cause': Even if he know that now 'that person' has become a 'monster', he wish to confront him to make amends for his failure, and let me bring divine judgment to this world, and to hell. You have begun to desire greater power, haven't you Arkham?"

Hearing this, the black-garbed priest raised his face as he continued to clench his fists; There was no fear, anger, disappointment or frustration in his expression: There was only the will to crush those who dared to stand in his way: A will that dictated to him to crush others, no matter what he had to do; A desire that was reflected for a moment in an eerie 'glow' that appeared in his red irise.

"Oh, yes, I can see it. The insatiable desire for more power. Keep that spirit, and you will still be of use to me" Having said that, the angelic deity threw that golden colored sword towards the priest, who a second later caught it in mid-air (with great agility) from its hilt"If you are 'worthy' enough to handle that sword, you will not need the Phoenix's Tears again; continue to be useful to me, and I will continue to give you more power...But if you fail me again, you know very well what I will do to you, don't you?" At the end of his sentence, Samiel narrowed his eyes and a dark and chilling aura filtered throughout the room, which caused Galilei to sweat massively from every pore; But on the other hand, Arkham remained unperturbed, his unhinged gaze fixed only on the blade of that golden sword and the reflection of his face in it.

"Aries Excalibur. The only piece of the legendary Excalibur made by god, which is said to have absorbed the properties of its sheath, Avalon. And you have delivered it to me with such ease..." That said, the man with heterochromia turned his gaze to the fallen angel and subsequently buried the tip of that sword in the ground as he clenched one of his fists, as he swore an oath "As long as you, Samael-Sama, the venom of god grants your judgment to sinners and foul demons, I, Arkham Kalinna, will become the sword that cuts your obstacles!"The oath was worthy of any 'knight' with an unwavering resolve; anyone would have stood up and applauded, however, Samiel or better known as, Samael, smiled ironically when his terrorific and red eyes focused again on the man's expression; Such irises of a different color, seemed to glow at that moment, almost as if they were hiding 'something'...'Something' that for some reason, was amusing the 'corrupted' deity. *5

"An excellent resolution father Arkham, but even if you have been granted a 'new 'power' by our lord, I still don't understand exactly we will address the matter of the Nephalem born in the target city? Don't get me wrong my lord, I faithfully believe that you will be able to slay that 'beast'...However, now if we take too long to implement this plan, that abomination will continue to grow stronger, and..." When the white-garbed priest finally plucked up the courage to address those present again, he said the above with a tone full of doubts, doubts that seemed to annoy the angelic deity, so when Galilei saw his annoyed expression, he took a step back, and swallowed enormous amounts of saliva, again.

"Thinking like an insect like always. Galilei, always talking too much and with so little faith *Sigh* That's easy for me to solve; just I make use of other pawns who are desperate to see their beloved king 'Arthur'; It's irrelevant if that son of eva keeps getting stronger; against that 'knight', the Arisen authorities will only make him stronger. So stop losing faith, and...talking. Just limit yourself to 'fuse' the pieces of the 'sacred' swords when the time to the awakening for the 'Knight' comes"His annoyed tone provoked more beads of nervous sweat on the Italian priest, however the latter was able to release a sigh of relief when he realized that the god was not as annoyed as he first imagined. Samael continued speaking after that, although his gaze was not focused on Arkham or Galilei; it almost seemed that his next words were only for himself"To invoke disturbing elements, 'power' is necessary. And when it comes to attracting fantastic beings, even greater 'power' is necessary as an explicit offering. And when the time comes, I will summon the greatest of misfortunes to this world, and the greatest of 'heroes' as well. Our slow confrontation can finally come to a conclusion"

Finished his prayer, Samael smiled like a maniac at the same time that he directed his gaze towards the wall of the room, a place decorated with other 7 golden swords that hung in many different ways from the stone; on their blades, very diverse and strange symbols were 'printed' on the golden metal, as if they had been 'drawn' on their structure by a chisel by the one who 'forged' them in the beginning.

Missión 08: Train your "Grunt"

(Yes, I know this title makes no sense. But you will understand it in your own time...)

Omake Teaser: Well, in campione and/or DXD there are chapters focused on absurd comedy moments, and I must also admit that I quite like that kind of comedy., so this story wasn't going to be the exception; However, I'll try to keep this kind of comedy as omakes, so they don't affect the main plot and/or Dante's "normal craziness" :V...

...Anyway, I hope you like this omake. Best Regards!

Omake: Neanderthalensis' Style.

Sona Sitri is not a woman who loses her cool easily and/or who is easily surprised and/or who acts rashly. She knows what she wants, and when she wants it. And she generally knows where she is, and where to go.

So when she heard from the mouths of two of her best friend's servants, that she had stayed behind looking for the infamous student Akira-Kusanagi, in the middle of a battlefield now starring two deities with an even stronger power, she could not help but act rashly, after having severely scolded the 'Queen' and the 'knight' of Rias, when they arrived at the Academy with Hyodou-Issei still unconscious.

However, despite the scolding, she knew that they were not to blame for they actions; the adrenaline rushing in her veins at that moment was what brought those words out of the 'authoritarian' nature of her being. After all, her friend and rival had used [The King's Order]; an ability of the evil pieces that allowed the 'King' of a Peerage to give an 'absolute order' to one or more of his/her 'Family' members, if they have not overcome the magical power of their 'King', of course. That is one aspect of the evil pieces, which unscrupulous upper class demons tend to use a lot on their servants.

So when Akeno and Yuuto described to her with great frustration and anguish how they 'felt' forced (by an external force) to leave that city (and not to return to it), Sona quickly understood, and with great surprise (given Rias' personality) that the gremory had used on them [The King's Order].

So shortly after understanding the above, Sona together with Tsubaki, flew at full speed from the school in the direction of Higashikawa City, with the aim of finding Rias, and forcing her to take refuge in the academy. Despite the low probabilities that she calculated, Sona still had hope of finding her alive, and at the same time she didn' t fully understand why she had made a decision that went against all survival instincts; Akira-Antoni-Kusanagi was a student of the Academy that Sona had the responsibility to 'protect' as President of the student council, and at the same time was a school delinquent that in less than 24 hours had gone from becoming for her a handsome 'nuisance' to a mysterious boy to whom she and the others already owed a lot, but even if he had already done a lot for this whole island and its inhabitants, and even if he was on the point of stopping this catastrophe.

From what she understood from Akeno, and Kiba, there was nothing they could do for the boy anymore; So Sona's analytical head, she just couldn't quite understand Rias' most recent action.

*Sigh*: She let out a sigh full of sorrow when she came to the above conclusion just when she had already flown halfway from Kuoh to Higashikawa. She analyzed that most likely those last actions of the redhead were due to that something that differentiated her from her childhood friend: Sona thought mainly with her head, and Rias thought mainly with her heart; Something that (which despite what most might think of her) she had no complaints about, after all every person and/or demon is different, but, at times like this you can't let your heart cloud your judgment, or you will die!. And if she had to choose between saving her friend and rival, from a student who had his minutes counted! Obviously she was going to choose...!

*Auge**Auge**Auge**Auge**Auge**Auge*: Any thought she had had up to that moment was cut off when she saw in the distance how a gigantic 'purple' pillar of energy rose from the ground on the horizon to the farthest clouds in the firmament, descending a few seconds later on the earth...

*Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooom*...and thus causing an explosion that could only be described as cataclysmic. The strong winds deflected Sona and Tsubaki's trajectory for a moment, until they managed to stabilize themselves by flapping their demonic wings with more force. Immediately afterwards, Sona was no longer able to perceive the aura of those gods, but...

*Auge**Auge**Auge**Auge*:A few seconds after that phenomenon had passed, another massive pillar of energy (which on this occasion was of a dark-red color) 'rose' on the horizon from that direction, and remained 'connecting'the earth with the sky, for at least 10 seconds, releasing with it a 'Magical' sensation; an 'Aura' that supernatural beings with strong spiritual perceptions and/or who were nearby, could easily feel.

"S-S-S-Sona, that aura is...T-T-That aura is..."

"I know Tsubaki. T-This...It has to be a Joke". This short sentence filled with great nervousness and bewilderment, was the only thing she could give as an answer to the queen of her peerage, who had similar feelings to hers.

*Auge**Auge**Auge*: Naturally, an incredible amount of conjectures went through the head of the 'Little' genius after she saw that first explosion; from the inevitable death of Rias because of the fight between the Monkey King and the (Inexplicably reborn) legendary Welsh Red Dragon , to the 'Banal' use of a 'Legendary' Authority and/or technique of those two deities; But never...Never...Never in her more than 34 possibilities would she have expected that she would again feel up close the aura of what seemed to be one of the [Predators] created by the mother of mankind! A kind of 'creature' that 'thanks to Tsubaki' she got to know (unfortunately) in at least one occasion in the past!. And by the characteristics of the phenomenon she was observing now, most probably that aura pillar was the 'birth' of a new [Predator]!.

"Just...What had happened just now in that city?!"

-o-o-o-o-o-o

Not even in her wildest dreams or in her most extensive and complex deductions, Sona could have thought that she would come across the following scene after she perceived Rias' Aura in those ruins that had once been a great city. Flying around, she observed from afar the following; In the middle of a main avenue, and following a path that seemed to be random, An unknown man of approx. 20-25 years old whose hair was completely white was walking staggeringly forward; He was dressed like a 'caveman' as his clothes seemed to be only pieces of scorched cloth, pieces that luckily covered his main masculine attribute. He was carrying in his hands in a bridal fashion what appeared to be a severely wounded 'Girl' of approx. 13-14 years old; Said girl had the appearance of Raynare, although the size didn' t match what she remembered.

But what was more relevant were 2 things: 1) Following that man, was her friend and rival, Rias Gremory, who had not too severe wounds here and there, and a few scorched clothes. Also, for some reason she looked quite confused every time she gave the white-haired man a glance and/or when she tried to talk to him. 2) Every time that man walked, the pavement would fragment and sink with his footsteps; He seemed to weigh as much as a giant backhoe used in mining or maybe more, but more importantly, that man is where the 'Monstrous Aura' she felt a few minutes ago came from. *3

"Hey, Rias! This way! Look this way! This way!"When Sona got up the courage to notice that that 'Monster' didn't seem to be a threat, at least for the moment... (And he even seemed even more confused than Rías)...She descended to a side street to the avenue where the Gremory plus the 'Monster' were walking, and then as she hid behind a lamp post (With Tsubaki, behind her, trembling), she spoke with a tone of voice that the redhead could hear...

"Who's there?!...Sona?. Sona, is that you?"noticing the presence of her friend and rival, Rias turned away from the 'Monster' for a moment and ran in the direction of that pole. She felt very relieved to finally meet another beloved person in the middle of these ruins full of burning flames and human lamentations. Before reaching the side of the Sitri, trying not to let Sona see her in such a 'pitiful' state, she exchanged her scorched clothes for another school attire in perfect condition by using her demonic power, and at the same time she rubbed her eyes, removing the traces of the tears she had released a dozen minutes before.

"Rias, why are you close to that 'Thing'. what in the 9 hells happened here?!". The summary that the Gremory would give her, after having listened to that nervous and puzzled question, would be something that the Sitri also couldn't predict at all even with an IQ of 190 points.

-o-o-o-o-o-o

Once Sona got over the initial shock of Rias' summary, she finally had the courage to approach that strange man; A strange man who actually turned out to be Akira-Antoni-Kusanagi, reborn as a [Nephalem]! and who for some reason now had a new more sexy appearance, and even another voice.

Sona had so many questions to ask him, and there were so many things for her and Rias to do and organize from now on; This 'situation' had created new problems for all the supernatural beings living in 'Hokkaido', so she hardly knew where to start; So after meditating briefly, she gathered her courage again, and tried to talk to the 'Monster' (despite the redhead's warnings), who was still walking staggeringly like a zombie with slow steps towards the front, towards a direction that seemed to lead him nowhere relevant.

She asked several questions, but only got strange answers from a man whose eyes looked 'lost', and whose expression was extremely confused. For some reason, it seemed that "Toni's" brain was not functioning properly.

"She Save I...debt to pay, I must...Asian"

"Akira-San...What do you Want, can you speak more clearly?"When Sona asked about who the severely injured and unconscious 'Girl' in his hands was, that was the answer she got. Rias had told her that shortly after waking up, 'Akira' didn't utter a word even if Rias spoke to him, and instead walked to a certain place in the ruined city, and after using his superhuman strength to remove a pile of rubble from what had once been a collapsed house, he found that girl in the rubble. From the aura and from her appearance, Rias was almost certain that this girl was actually Raynare, although she had no idea why she now looked like a girl in the final stages of puberty. In any case, it seemed that "Dante's" spiritual perception had improved after his 'Rebirth', but for some reason (despite the fact that after encountering Raynare he managed to articulate words) his brain seemed to have been 'lobotomized'

"Pay debt I must...Asian...I go...Asian...Asian...Asian...I don't remember, but..."

"I told you it would be useless Sona. Apparently his brain is still 'fried' *Sigh* I hope this isn't permanent *Sigh*"Rias already had too much to deal with emotionally for her to now have to take care of a 'great friend' with a 'Fried' brain; Not that she minded taking care of him at all, but she was actually worried about him. ...She had never heard that a 'Nephalem' could not fully recover after rebirth, so she was very afraid to think about the possibility that something went very wrong after his rebirth, and that now his brain could not recover. That would mean that one way or another, he would have lost that boy who had already won a part of his heart with his courage, loyalty, and curious personality.

"Asian? Asian?...Hmmmm"On the other hand, Sona analyzed as fast as she could the white-haired man's strange words. She knew very little of his true ways, but from what she learned so far, he was someone very strange, but at the same time brave, stubborn, and smart in his own way, but more importantly, he was someone who wouldn't let a person he cared about, or to whom he owed a debt (apparently) die even if it led to a potential death. So she soon came up with a guess"That could mean either the Asian continent, or a specific region, or the gentile used to name oriental Peoples. But, obviously it wouldn't make sense for you to want to go to 'There' when we're already 'There', right Akira-San?"

"..." The only response the Sitri got from him, was a head tilted from one side to the other, continuously. As if he was a 'Puppy' trying to understand a language he didn't understand.

*Sigh*: Seeing him that way, the Gremory sighed again in anguish, while the Sitri decided to question him in a way in which he could only give affirmative or negative answers, since it seemed that he was capable of expressing himself more than he was capable of answering questions. So Sona used the deduction that seemed to her the most obvious answer.

"Akira-San, you mean you want to see the Nun?. No, forget that, I'll make the question even more specific; do you wish to be guided to Asia-Argento?"

"Yes, I get to Asian...Help...Way, don't remember...". As those 'Neanderthal' sentences came out of the Nephalem's mouth, his head nodded affirmatively several times, "Kaichou...intelligent and beautiful, be...Though annoying and short chested be too...Big Chest not understand to I...My follow intelligent, now."

"Heeey!" And just like that, both Rias and Sona were embarrassed in one way or another, by a handsome 'Caveman'. Rias' cheeks were the ones that colored the most intensely.

"..." But the Sitri's cheeks couldn't help but get a little reddened either, mainly because of the insult, of course; It should be noted, that if he wasn't a Nephalem, and a 'lobotomized' being, she would have undoubtedly rebuked him with great vehemence.

And speaking about Tsubaki, she at all times remained silent and in the rear of Sona; Even if she was her queen, for some reason she didn' t have enough courage to be able to confront that 'Monster' head on. A nervous sweat would run down her cheeks for a long time.

Soon, they set off, and left those ruins that had once been a great city. Before the last of the still standing skyscrapers of Higashikawa was lost in the distance, Rias saw it out of the corner of her eye and then put on a sorrowful expression as she sighed and shook her head; everything she had experienced, and all the tragedy she had experienced firsthand would definitely be something she would have to deal with in the days to come, both she and the rest of the surviving humans and supernatural beings.

Afterwards, Sona tried at first to carry 'Raynare' so that Rías could carry 'Dante' to take him more easily to Kuoh city, since they planned to fly there. But the white-haired man resisted to let off the girl in his arms, so in the end Rías only tried to carry him and the girl; however, the weight of the Nefalem's body turned out to be absurd, just as she supposed, given the small craters and channels that were formed on the pavement when his feet touched the ground; Soon after, Sona would also try, but only the same result would occur.

So in the end, they ended up guiding the strange white-haired man in the simplest way they could think of. They flew ahead of him at ground level, showing him the way; then 'Dante' followed them with ease thanks to an agility that didn' t correspond to the weight that his body now had. Soon they realized that, so they decided that it would be better to fly at the maximum speed they could given the state of the wounds of the Raynare Girl, so they accelerated the pace; a 'pace' that was immediately followed closely by that superhuman speed that didn't seem to be slowed in the least despite the fact that the Nephalem had such a heavy body; channels and small craters were formed in the pavement and the ground where the Nephalem's feet had contact, almost as if the speed and weight of Alex-Mercer and/or Sergeant James-Heller had been embodied in that 'boy'

-o-o-o-o-o-o

Less than 30 minutes later...

"[° 0 °]"

"He´s a Creature with absurd power."

"A beast, that's definitely what he's become"In the following order: Rias, Sona, and Tsubaki expressed the feelings that welled up from their persons when they watched as 'Dante' had just destroyed the academy's barrier as if it was worthless. A barrier that was meant to be able to withstand the attack of a [Satan] class enemy at the very least! So the expression on Rias' face couldn't help but be very surprised/Sona spoke as if she hardly believed her words as she placed a wry smile/Tsubaki said with harsh words as a drop of nervous sweat ran down one of her cheeks again.

From the main entrance, Sona had already ordered Saji and Momo to deactivate the academy's "shield", but 'Dante' didn't seem to have the time to wait for them to do that and/or maybe his 'damaged' brain didn't understand the situation, so he just casually walked until his body touched the barrier, and then with a 'crack' sound in between, that blue dome-shaped barrier filled with cracks all over in a spider web pattern and then, in less than 5 seconds it ended up fragmenting until it disappeared in the form of thousands of luminescent particles. ...And the only explanation [Sona] had for such a phenomenon, was that most probably that 'creature' now possessed a ridiculous magical resistance...

After that, 'Dante' kept running until his 'spiritual instincts' led him to find the aura of Asia, who was behind a wall...

*Booom!* *Crack!*... located on the first floor of the main building in the infirmary area. Obviously 'Dante' now seemed not to understand the concept of a door and/or it was all the same to him to burst the outer wall of the infirmary with a headbutt that didn't seem particularly powerful...

Whatever the case was, Asia (who was now in charge of taking care of the unconscious Issei lying on one of the beds in the infirmary) jumped in fright, after she saw how that strange man destroyed and broke through the wall and then approached her in less than a blink of an eye until he was in front of her while extending his arms, revealing the girl he was carrying.

"T-T-T-This..."Naturally, the Argento didn't know what to say or do at a moment like this. She took a step back, and placed her body right in front of Issei's bed protectively, as she was unaware of the intentions of the white-haired man, who despite not appearing to be hostile at all, was dressed like a savage, had just destroyed a wall, and more importantly; His magical power was too great. So great that she couldn't calculate it at all, and at the same time, his aura felt 'Divine', so Asia's natural instinct was to stay on the defensive. Or at least that was the case, until she saw the severely wounded girl in the man's arms "T-T-That girl...why do I feel like I know that girl?. Mr. San, what do you want! If you are here to harm Issei-San, I don't think...!"

Hearing that last, the white-haired man (with an confused expression and lost look) shook his head repeatedly while interrupting with his 'neanderthal' sentence to the blonde-haired woman.

"Me not hurting Issei, eating breasts, being he, perverted little brother...Me, wanting Asian Power...Asian help Raynare. Raynare danger, because of I."

"..." The implications of that sentence could barely be grasped by the Nun. However, when she got a better look at the girl in those hands, she realized that she was identical to Raynare (in a smaller version), and then her 'healer' instinct kicked in, "Oh My God! Is She Raynare-San?! Mr. San who are you?!, and What happened to Raynare-San?!"

"Heal first duty. Ask I later". That said, in the most primitive way possible, the ex-sparda placed the pubescent girl on one of the infirmary beds, and then Asia created a healing aura that enveloped the mini version of 'Ishtar-Rin-Tohsaka' in no time. They didn't say a word; Asia had a lot of questions, but the "caveman" was right, she should focus first on 'Raynare' or at least, on who she seemed to be.

*Roar*-Less than a minute later, when "Raynare's" wounds were almost healed, the sound of a growl echoed in the silent room. Thereupon, the white-haired man brought a hand to his stomach with great force, while staggering a few times as if he was getting weaker.

"Me, have Hunger, very much."

"Mr. San?"

"You care Loli. Soon Me return. Hunger strong be, not resist hunger more."

"Mr. San?! Where are you going?! I still don't understand what's going on! Mr. Saaaan!"

*Crack!* *Boom*: Without waiting to answer the incredible amount of doubts that inhabited the nun's head, Eva's son casually ran towards another wall...And then he came out of the infirmary room the same way he entered. He broke through a wall without even making an effort as he just kept running towards the front, and then he went off towards some unknown place, leaving a fracture in the concrete, which had the outlines of his figure.

And less than a minute past the above...

"Asia!"

"Miss. Gremory-San?"

"Where did Dante go?!"

"Mr. Dante-San? He didn't stop by. That he wasn't still fighting against...?"

"Don't bother explaining to her Rias! There's no time! We must catch him and calm him down! A Nephalem with his brain 'fried' in Kuoh, will be much worse than a Heretic-God!"

"Let's just keep following its aura. He's heading for the city now!"

"Let your knight help you Buchou!"

"Rias, don't ever do something like that to us again! Don't ever leave us out of something important again! We're here to help you, and to protect you, no matter what the situation! Damn it!"

"I don't know what's going on. But I'm not staying out of it this time, Buchou!"

"¿?¿?¿?¿?¿?"In the following order, these were all people that left the Nun even more confused than she already was: Rias, Sona, Tsubaki had spoken after entering the infirmary room through the first hole in the wall that the ex-sparda had created. And after that, Kiba, Akeno, and Koneko appeared, who seemed upset/regretful/anguished in one way or another by the most recent actions and situations that had occurred. They still didn't know exactly what was going on, since they had met their mistress only a few moments ago when they felt her aura, so the redhead hadn't had time to apologize and/or explain the situation to them; And maybe they still wouldn't know exactly what was going on after another several minutes, since Rías didn't stop to explain anything to them, since after hearing [Sona] she destroyed with a small block of destruction power that wall through which the ex-sparda had 'escaped', and then she ran together with Sona and Tsubaki (plus the rest of her peerage following her), towards the direction in which she perceived the aura of 'Dante' was heading.

*Sigh*: As they ran through the academy's sports fields, a frustrated sigh full of other complex emotions was let out by the Sitri clan leader, after noticing how the rest of her peerage was trying to calm down in the distance the noble demons (from this and other Hokkaido cities) that had been using the sports gym as a refuge until a few moments ago, because after they heard how the barrier was destroyed and most probably after feeling that 'terrifying' aura emitted by the 'white-haired one', most probably they felt that the 'end' had come for them so they most probably wanted to escape like chickens being hunted, So [Sona] improvisedly told Saji and her other servants that if that happened, they would have to restrain them, and tell them that the one who had entered the 'barrier' was not an enemy. ..(At least not for now)...and that everything would be explained to them in detail later.

-o-o-o-o-o-o

45 minutes later.

Sona, Tsubaki, Rias, and their servants were watching how a 'Beast' was finishing devouring everything...

...everything in an 'Italian' restaurant, to be precise.

'Dante' was devouring all kinds of food he had found in a restaurant dedicated to both the sale of various brands of beer and/or liquor, as well as the sale of Italian-style prepared foods. From Paninis stuffed with vegetables plus pork or chicken, to pasta dishes such as boiled sausages, prosciuto ham, Lasagna, Ravioli, Spaghetti, Ossobuco, Risotto, Tiramisu, and of course, Pizza. All of the above, accompanied by drinks that only consisted of beer or tomatoe juice, taken directly from the can/jar and/or bottle.

Continuously grabbing food and drinks and stuffing his mouth, 'The Caveman' slurped and chewed with delight, savoring in large gulps all the food and drink he had found on the various tables inside that restaurant. It seemed as if the search and ingestion of drinks and food were his only priority at that moment; he didn't even pay attention to Rías, Sona or the others, who were watching him from a few meters away.

Rías and the others looked at 'Dante' (from the large main window of the place, now destroyed thanks to the entrance of a 'caveman') as if he was eating and drinking by an unknown force. Expressions as if they were observing some kind of newly discovered rare species were drawn on most of the faces of the spectators, who had already been 'hypnotized' for a few minutes by that scene.

Rias and Sona were not sure why he was so hungry, let alone understand how he had found this place; the possibilities that the Sitri imagined were that maybe he had come to this local Italian food franchise in the past, that he liked the food here, and then a still functional part of his brain remembered where the restaurant was located or maybe he had just found it by chance, guided by some kind of 'primitive instinct' that compelled him to look for drink and food. ... Drink and food, which had already been plundered in abundance from other very diverse eating places before the white-haired man arrived at that place.

And in case you were wondering since the night was not over yet, the restaurant still had some food prepared since it was the food that the diners had ordered a few hours ago, which they never got to touch, since they were turned into bloodthirsty monkeys and conflict, so ironically, those monkeys left most of the food already prepared intact. And by the way, the route that 'Dante' took to get to this place was not a route that a normal human being would have used; countless buildings were 'penetrated' on the way he took to this place: he ran directly to this place, without worrying about the structures that were placed in front of him, which generated another small destruction, in the city already semi-destroyed by the monkeys.

"Is he...?"

"Yes, he's drinking the beer straight from the keg. This worries me, drinking that much alcohol, could it kill him?"

"A 'Beast' like that can't die from something so simple. Trust me". Tsubaki gave her sincere and dismissive opinion after hearing the words of Sona, and Rias respectively. And then...

*Puuum*...Tsubaki's words seemed to be contradicted, because immediately after, far away at the back of the restaurant, the ex-sparda fell face up on the floor, whipping hard on the floor, and leaving a hole in it due to the terrible weight he now possessed. The beer keg's stopcock stopped its flow at that moment, as there was no one to press it anymore.

Unable to remain idle any longer after seeing that, Rías entered the restaurant and approached the Ex-Sparda. Fortunately, he was not dead, he had just fainted, or at least that's what it seemed, since he was still breathing, and whatever the power that had transformed his appearance, was no longer present, since the real face (now reddened) and body of 'Toni' was now who rested (snoring peacefully and with a smile in between) on that mini-crater.

-o-o-o-o-o-o

"I finally found the answer!"

"Really?!"

"Yes, it's here, Look. It looks like the 'Fused' circuits in his brain will be able to recover. At least this will leave us with one less problem to deal with *Sigh* I highly doubt we would have been able to negotiate with a 'Lobotomized' Nephalem."

"Let me see...oh ya. The explanation is in the excerpt of this paragraph:...[...The minds of some 'Campione' may undergo strange 'phenomena' in their rebirths, which will differ from the 'phenomena' granted by their authorities. The 'human' part still remaining in their 'psyche' may take time to adapt to the changes received by the 'Blessing of Eve'. The abysmal power they receive from said blessing will alter the 'mortal portions' of their bodies, soul and mind in a way that makes them resilient enough to be able to exercise the authorities they gain, but said alteration in their 'mortal' parts may cause the 'campione' to alter at cognitive levels in the course of that adaptation. The alterations registered so far are the following: The most known and studied alteration that is seen in almost all 'Campione' is a feeling of colossal 'Hunger', which does not correspond to the 'Pseudo-immortality' they have gained since the moment of their rebirth; They seem to be driven by a kind of 'primitive instinct' that drives them to search for food for the sake of having 'a body ready for battle', although they don't actually need that to be 'ready for battle'. As mentioned in the previous chapter, a 'Campione' has a life expectancy that easily exceeds 1000 years, and in turn the mortal needs of subsistence (food consumption, water, need for oxygen/atmosphere, need for sleep) are irrelevant to them. Campione' can still sleep, breathe, drink fluids/water, and eat as a normal person normally would, but they don't really need that to live. Other more rare disorders to see are the following; memory loss, schizophrenia, lethargy, personality alteration, existential emptiness, diminished intellectual capacity, depression, bipolarity, elevated range of anger, and insanity. Any of these alterations are temporary, and will disappear within a day or several hours, depending on how accustomed to magic the 'spiritual veins' of the 'Campione' were before his rebirth. Note that, even with an altered mental state, a 'Campione' still can and knows how to use the authorities it has gained, so if you are a 'Non-Transcendental' person who thinks that in such a 'state' it would be a good time to try to kill a 'Campione', you will only be making the worst mistake of your life]...High level of Anger, Schizophrenia, Insanity?...So destroyed buildings and robbed stores are not the worst case scenario?!"

"Apparently, according to Alberto Ricardo". At Rias' puzzled question, Sona could only smile wryly.

*Big Sigh*: Actually, Rias sighed releasing a great part of her worries with it, and then sat down on a sofa of the Occult Research Club, after closing the thick book in her hands, whose title on its front paste (written in Italian language) was: "Treatise of the 'Campione', By Alberto Ricardo, Edition no 43". She had summoned said book from her personal library in hell, and with Sona's help, for a long while they tried to find the answer to the strange behavior of the Nephalem that now rested on one of the beds in the infirmary room.

"The night is going to be long, and tomorrow even longer" Both the heiress of the Sitri clan, and that of the Gremory clan had that thought, after analyzing all the actions they should take from now on, both in the administration of the magical restoration of Kuoh city before a new sun was 'born' along with the alteration of the memories of the inhabitants of Kuoh, and of the entire island of Hokkaido in general. The work as 'infernal' leaders of this area on planet earth would be titanic in the hours to come, and would undoubtedly require the combined work of all the demons living in Hokkaido; They wanted to avoid talking to their families for the moment to ask for help, since they first had to negotiate with the new King of Humanity born in their territories, or rather, negotiate for the lost territory, since 'Hokkaido' and even all of Japan now belonged to 'Toni'; That was the supernatural law of the human world, that every being born outside the mortal plane had to respect, for the sake of their lives, and factions. No doubt, they had a lot to deal with...

Author's Messages:

I don´t have much to say. I hope you liked this chapter, and Hopefully the next chapter, I'll have it in the new year, or maybe before, no promises...

All the little 'mysteries born' from this chapter, will be solved as the plot progresses; In this story, Dante's' "adoptive" mother and father will not be irrelevant (or at least not so irrelevant like in DXD or Campione series :V)

Best regards!

Chapter Clarifications:

*1 See the library, so you can read the updated 'datasheet' of Raynare, and of the divine ancestors.

*2 The complete explanation about this sword will be exposed in the 'chapter' called 'Antoni' (See the explanation abut this on the notes at the beginnig of this chapter)

*3 The 'design' of the sword is more similar to 'Rebellion' than to 'Devil-Sword-Dante', because I like the first one better. There is no way I can describe the sword perfectly enough for you to imagine it properly, but I took its design from the image you can see that I now have as my profile/avatar image of fanfiction: So just click on my profile, if you want to 'meet' the sword. If you want a clearer image, you can find the complete drawing if you put in google images the following: "deviantart kozivara handed swords" In the image that will appear, where there are several designs of swords (designs created by the devianart user, "Kozivara"); the first sword of the second row, that is the "Nephalem Sword Ex-Dante" or just "Ex-Dante" (in devianart you can enlarge the image to see it better).

I liked that design, but probably some people won't like the design: Relax, the sword will be able to change shape freely depending on certain 'circumstances', so don't kill me if you don't like it.

*4 Ten excaliburs? It's still too early to reveal that, but ... The origin of the excalibur swords in this story will be very different from what you know from DXD.

*5 Samiel is another name for samael. Now you know who 'samiel' is in case you never looked that information up on the wiki. And now what is supposed to happen with the situation originated by Cao-Cao? and/or what authority is Dante supposed to get from this god? Well, I've got that figured out; so you'll have to wait to find out.

Library:

Divine Ancestor: Most of the characteristics of divine ancestors have already been mentioned. However, it is worth noting the following: Some divine ancestors retain their 'immortalities to the timpe pass' in a strange way; Upon losing their divinities, some of them become 'eternally "young" individuals', whereby they acquire a somewhat childlike appearance that they can not modify by ordinary means. Those who are not comfortable with their childish appearances, usually hide their 'true forms' with spells, if they are good with magic and if they know 'concealment' spells.

Raynare: A divine ancestor, whose origin is biblical mythology. Apparently, her physical strength and/or durability were never the true "remnants" left from her "original divine being": such atributes were enhanced thanks to magic spells, which shows that her ability to "practice" magic must also have been a characteristic of the goddess she once was, since it is not normal for a divine ancestor without such a magic-related origin to know such diverse and "powerful" spells. Her true "remnants" of her original being that preserves her "true body" (Puber) of divine ancestor are feline "attributes" that must have belonged to the angelic goddess she once was, and/or to an authority that allowed "her" to take a feline form, or something like that...

Kuoh Academy Shield-[Rank C~C+]: A magical barrier in the shape of a blue dome that was created by the current "Satans", to protect the demonic "leaders" in Kuoh City from "any" threat. Can stop attacks/Authorities/abilities of rank C, up to C+: The barrier has a core (located under the old school building) that has a big magical reserve, but the more damage the shield takes, the faster the core magic will run out, so in cases of a continuous attack of [Satan/Lesser Gods/Dragon Kings] or slightly higher [Middle Class Gods] level, an external and continuous "infusion" of magic would be needed, so that it could continue to function. The barrier can be controlled through specific spells that have been "given" to some of the diabolical "leaders" living in Kuoh. However, as powerful as it appears to be, the "shield" cannot withstand attacks beyond its defense range and/or supernatural beings with absurd magical resistances ("Toni").

Authority obtained from Sun-Wukong

Unbreakable (Dante); [XXX] (Grigori); [XXX] (Whiteganemot) -[Rank A+~?]

Note: [XXX]=This is information that I omitted, so that the mystery continues. I want to avoid filling you with spoilers.. And despite the fact that "Unbreakable" seems to "mimic" one of the effects of Salvatore-Doni's "Steel Body" authority, his other effects are far from that authority of the king of swords from the original [Campione] series. And "Unbreakeable" is just a name who I put in this power to mislead you, and prevent all of you from guessing its more important capacity

Note 2: For the moment, I will only describe one effect. In the "chapter" called "Antoni", I will present more information. In that "chapter" I will also explain how an authority can 'adapt': This doesn't differ much from the original campione canon, so you can search the campione wiki for more information.

-Effect A) Unbreakable Steel mask: Toni is a person who relates "transformations" and "weaponry" to "power", so "Unbreakable" was adapted in the Ex-sparda to grant him (from the moment he activates it) an appearance (plus a voice) that would fulfill his desires and "expectations" regarding what he would expect to find in someone who can be considered "Unbreakable or Indestructible or [XXX]", so the authority changes his appearance to that of someone "Toni" considers to be "Unbreakable"; Therefore, "Toni" acquires the appearance and voice of that of the youthful version that his former "self" possessed.

Looool, that sentence is memorable from that videogame XD...In terms of gameplay, I agree with you, Dragons Dogma's can only be described as epic :D (despite its 'flaws')

thanks for leaving your message again in that chapter, and hopefully this one was to your liking too hehe, :)

Answering to your question: I saw the trailer of that game, and ...definitely at least from what could be seen it would be a worthy successor of dragons dogma (but hopefully the developers won't ruin our hype :/)

Have a nice weekend!

best regards from mexico! :)

ProtoAngelo:

thanks for 'stopping' again to leave a review :)

I'm glad to hear you liked the chapters :D

I'm also glad to hear that you liked the idea of a 'separated' Dante. To be honest, the idea about 'red' came to me unexpectedly, when I thought that I definitely couldn't (and didn't have the heart to) just kill his demonic side. And well, now I guess that's created a better story, I guess hehe. Thanks for your comment about the grammar, I've tried to make an effort on it :)...I think in this chapter, the mediation I've done about the structure of the dialogues, it's better, isn't it?

Thanks for your reviews again :D

Have a nice weekend!

Guest (chapter 15):

Sorry about that, I couldn't help it. I hope I redeemed myself with this chapter heh.

have a nice day

JtBlack-Hawk3198:

Hi thanks for leaving a message, I'm glad to hear your opinion on this :)

Hmmmm... there's no way for me to answer your first questions, without giving you a massive spoiler about how I'm going to create the origins of 'Sir kay' in this story (I clarify here that those sir kay that Dante is going to kill, is not the 'true god' of the Arthurian mythology of this story; he is a heretic god, whose existence is as 'scrambled' as the origins of Perseus and/or Apollo in the original Campione series, so those 'Sir-Kay' not only has the 'authorities' related in his myth).

Now, about your doubts with 'trickster': I think you and many others missed the message I left at the end of the first chapter: The authorities that 'dante' gains, will not be exactly the same as the powers he had in his other life ; Of course they will have very similar effects, but also very different characteristics (for example 'unbreakable' is in fact an ability that will give back to 'Toni' one of the most representative powers of 'Dante', but as you already read, it has 'strange' effects that originate from the 'myth' from where he got them-and that I will explain later), or even sometimes the names of the authorities won, will just be a reference to the styles of the videogame. So 'Trickster' is not a 'movement' skill at all, in this history.

Finally, about your doubts regarding magic and training: 1) At least in this story, those were abilities that were born from Dante's 'demonic desires' thanks to his demonic power type magic (and of course, some trainning), and 'Toni' doesn't possess that kind of magic (the characteristics of magic types, are something I'm about to address in the chapters to follow), he only had a 'magic without attributes' that allowed him to cast spells/enchantments as long as he had knowledge of how to create them (like any other human magician in this fic), but since he is a 'slacker' and since he had not had the need to 'improve himself' in that way (Thanks to his superhuman characteristics and Azzazel), he never felt the need to learn how to use magic properly. 2) And precisely because of this, the 'physiology' of a Nephalem, will have a certain restriction that will prevent them from improving themselves through training. Why? You might think that because of the power of the script, and it certainly is in part, because if I allow him that kind of 'growth', So what is the use of killing gods?; I feel that the objective of this story would be lost with it. And besides, why make him get the same kind of abilities we all already know (and even have used in the game ) when I could have him kill gods that grant him authorities with effects he would never expect them to have?

And those are my reasons.

I hope I have cleared up your doubts. If you still have doubts about sir kay's origin, and you want me to tell you who he is, tell me through a review, and I will send you a private message without any problem.

best regards
