A/N:

Vi-violence: I didnt know you watch Detective Conan as well...well Mirra likes that phrase so she'll be using it regularly now. but I assure you she doesnt look like Vermouth at all. I was thinking maybe I can create a tumbler account or something where I can ditch character sheets in this stories. And maybe some drawn random scene. Idk.. Time is not really kind to me

7. Getting kidnapped is a norm – really??!

One... Two... The time is ticking.. Hurry up, hurry up

There are three things that keep lulling Mirra back to her sleep. The melody of the chirping birds, the sound of waves hitting the shore and the gentle breeze that carried the smell of the ocean. It's too peaceful, dragging her more and more to the bottom of her dream where she's meeting his brothers, clicking bottles of alcohols together and they exchanging stories.

It feels like forever. And she could live like this forever.

Eventhough her bladder is full at the moment….

But the sun probably has something against her. The sunbeam has been directed to her face for far too long, heating her cheek and stirred her in sleep. She rolled, hand reaching out for a pillow to cover her face but she fell instead, hard to the ground.

Immediately she shot up - on all four, - hair rumpled to one side and were brought forward covering half her face. Her palm sting suddenly, so she jerked it away and turned at it to get a good look. With few blinks and a quick glance to the surrounding her memories from the night jogged in and she exhaled in depress at what she had learnt.

1) Her right palm was bleeding, 2) she's no longer in her room in the sub, 3) her surrounding consists of nothing but trees and grasses, and little tiny bugs that scattered around minding their own business.

What happened?

She looked up to the tree where she had just fell from before, contemplated. She could see her blade was still there, stuck in between branches. She snapped from her thought when her palm throbbed, sighing in defeat as she slumped her back against the tree, reminiscing on the fate that has befell on her.

Once again… The Heart pirates got kidnapped.

Or probably entirely got murdered last night.

- - -

- Flashback to 8 hours before…. -

Her instinct rang first the exact three seconds before a sudden 'boooommm!' and the submarine shook, followed by a loud ringing alarm in case of emergency. Immediately she threw the blanket away from her body as she rose. Swiftly she snatching the blade that leaned to the wall next to her bed, storming out of the room to the deck where her inner soul told her that there where the chaos was.

When she arrived she realized the situation was perilous than what she imagined. Everyone was fighting. All hands were busy fending off from unknown attackers. Dressed in nothing then their night clothes - sweatpants, shorts, singlets, and the previous day's uniform for those with night shift or those that simply falling onto the bed without changing - she could tell no one actually anticipated this.

Mirra heard Law screamed order, telling the crew to go all out and not to leave a single person left. He was looking unkempt himself. His midnight hair dishevelled, eyes bloodshot, cheek has a pressing mark indicating he fell asleep on a book, and shirt creased in thousand ways with grunts never leaving his lips because his one rare night-sleep was disturbed. Near him Shachi, Hiro and Ray were high in action. They wore nothing other than white sweatpants with printed jolly roger on the upper left thighs, and their choice of weapons in hands. Their abs and muscles could've glowered and flexed beautifully had it not for the pitch dark starry night and lack of lighting around them. Similarly, Xan and Rain they wore black singlets, tightly wrapped around their torso, and the rest in whatever sweatpants, unchanged boiler suit since morning, shorts or speedo - that's V, only him - that she could see from a single glance around the deck.

And from the corner of her vision she noticed the silhouette of an island. Stumped, she found it odd since Bepo never mentioned anything about an island nearby, or they were approaching one this quick.

She stopped spacing out when her sense tingled, when a bullet just missed inches away from her previous spot because she turned. She looked at the direction of where it came from, blade pulled out from the scabbard and she deflected another bullet away. Her gaze locked with the attacker, that greeted her with a lopsided smile, jerking his head slightly as an acknowledgement on their first meeting.

"I didn't know there's a pretty babe in this male-pirates crew." He licked his lips and grinned wider.

Ignoring it Mirra charged forward as he shot again. She ran around the deck, propelled herself in the air and lunged forward cutting the shooter across his chest. He fell back spurting blood and she pivoted her legs changing direction as she already caught on the location of the others around him to give them the same treatment as what she just did. She did not spare them time to react, retreat or reload their trajectory weapons. Their screams and agony mixed along with other shouts from their fallen comrades.

Judging from the sound itself and her self instinct Hearts should be winning. Mirra could see that. Enemies falling down left and right and they started to get restless it'll only be time before they run away. Victory will be secured.

Or she thought.

Someone threw something, and they exploded, releasing questioning gas around them. And by the time they realized what it was it was too late as one by one of them fell unconscious. Even Law himself.

Mirra was left mortified. The Hearts were defeated. The enemies had pulled out gas masks and strapped them around their faces.

They had this planned!!

And she already breathed in the sleeping gas and the effect already started to kick in. She should have use her hail breeze to blow away the gas but it didn't come across her brain earlier. She realized she needs to run. Once everyone was out including herself then nothing else could secure her safety. But her choice was limited. And the sub was her only option.

So she settled for it, retreated back to the sub in hope could find somewhere to hide herself and maybe sleeping the gas away without being noticed and caught. Unlucky for her, someone saw it and gave a chase.

"Shit, I can't take it any longer. I'm sleepy," Mirra barely held onto her what's left of consciousness as she threading ways to a room. Her hands flailing around the metal wall as a guide. Her ears listened to the man's laugh and slow approaching footsteps while she thinks of a way.

"Hey girl, where are you? Why don't you come out? We can introduce you to our captain in a nice way."

The feet descended through the stairs, as the owner looked around for a good measure to determine which side to look for her. He took the left.

Mirra bite her own lips in attempt to stay awake. It was futile.

"You see, we no mean any harm. You will meet our captain, have fun with him, and then we let you go. A great deal right? You won't have to go through what we planned for the other Hearts."

Her lip bleed slightly when she accidentally flinched. She hated this. Her stomach lurched at the words 'fun with him'. This is why she had so many trust issues with men. Nasty, mean and heartless men. Her crew was full of it, a prime example.

The enemy randomly kicked the door or any things along the way, checking out if she was hiding behind it. Mirra sucked up a deep breath, glaring at her blade that glinted from the reflection of the light around her. She could feel a voice drawn her to it, and she brought the blade against her cold skin -

"Captain sure loves woman. Especially the young and still fresh one. You gonna be treated very well, my dear~ oh you know what I'm talking about right?"

She hitched at the leer sound. She came to a resolution. Even without the voice drawing her in she will still do it. She won't let herself fell to the nightmare.

She was ready. The cold sharp blade that still dripping fresh blood from the enemies was ready against her palm too. She closed her eyes.

If he's not giving up looking for me, then there is one thing left to do.

In one beat without hesitation she slash her own palm, squirming at the pain as the blood pooled below her. Her body jerked harshly and her eyes wide awake. She held back the hiss from escaping her lips, instead she sprung out from her hiding place, with her blade ready to pierce the man. And as the man wasn't expecting it he failed to move away, letting the sharp blade pierced right through his chest from one end to another, directly into his heart. Mirra watched his pained face, elevated at the sight of his eyes losing the light before savagely pulled the blade out from his body. The body slide down to her legs, and she gave a last glare before stepping over it.

She climbed the stairs quickly, broke through the door to the deck and bumped against one or two of the enemies in her haste. She head straight to the railing, bypassed the sleeping figures of the Hearts but never looked away, and she readied herself to escape.

Her bleeding hand held the railing tightly - enemies started firing - and she jumped over it. Ice plates formed in the air under her feet and she made it as her floor as she kept running to the island. She heard the enemies shouted telling each other to chase her and bring her back. But she was long gone in minutes and far from being taken away.

And the last thing she remembered, as she reached the seashore and landed gracefully on it she was quick to find a hiding spot, high above from the ground where big trees big leaves and big branches could camouflage her petite body from any searching eyes. When she was sure she was safe she leaned back against the trunk and puffed out heavy breath. All adrenaline rushed down and the sleepiness that had gone away earlier returned, kicking her conscious away.

Quickly her eye lids shutting down and she finally fell asleep.

One thing she remember though, that once again, she felt like being hunted and every corner have eyes on her, waiting for her to be defenseless before they leap out and devour her.

- Back to the present… -

Mirra sighed as she still glared at her injured palm, as if sending death threat to it will make it stitch the skin back to normal, or stop that little trickle of blood that still dripping. She somehow wondered how she pulled it through unconsciously, yet still glad that it wasn't a big wound otherwise she could be drained from blood and dead by now.

There's so little thing available that she could use as she looked for something to cover the wound. Either she tore her pants, her bra or the leaves, that's her only choice. So she picked one and looked around for a decent size leaf, wide enough to cover her wound and pluck any random tendrils that she came across, make shifting it as some sort of string or something. She had considered to freeze the wound instead because it'll be much more easier that way but the coldness could actually affect her, in a way it numbs the pain away making her feels nothing. Without pain she won't know when to not use the wounded hand, to not over use it. And she will only worsen the damage that could be beyond repairs.

Once done Mirra stood up, uninjured hand gripping the blade by the middle while the other shook off any dirt and ground stuck on her pants. She eyed at the direction of where she came from, where she believed the submarine will be. Her plan right now, is to get back to the sub, and see what'd actually going on. Then, she will plot for her escape.

- - -

Hiding behind 20 to 40 long lanceolate-shaped leaves 15 m above from the ground Mirra watched every single movements of the pirates - that she believed attacked them last night - roaming around the submarine. The scumbags were walking in and out of the sub, with hands carrying things, laughing as if they just won big lottery and ate whatever…they fished from the Heart's food supply.

Mirra frowned, deep frown, as she's pretty sure sure now that all the Hearts are tied somewhere (or killed, she hasn't pushed that possibility yet) leaving her here alone to deal with their mess. Her plan which is to just running straight to the sub is meaningless now with no one backing up.

All of the Hearts… Hmmmm… But how did we end up here anyways? No one ever mention anything about getting near to an island…

Mirra took a deep glance at the pirates, tried to get to look at their faces properly despite the distance. Her eyebrow arched as her brain pondered over things she perceived.

Someone is actually behind this. The helmsmen, maybe… and the helmsmen for last night…..

It never strikes in her mind that Penguin is behind this, but he was in shift last night, and that means he was sitting behind all those buttons and controls.

But just incase…

Mirra saw some of the pirates walked into the forest. She weighed the pros and cons of her next move, and when she settled for one she quickly tailing them. She jumped and swayed from tree to tree keeping her distance thanks to her strength and experiences she'd had ever since she played 'ninja' a lot with her brothers.

Finally as she landed her feet on a branch of mango tree without the mangoes she braced herself for her attack, that the three didn't know that they will be heading to the afterlife in 3 minutes.

- - -

"Did you find the woman?"

"No captain. We are still searching."

"Call off the search. She will get to us eventually. She has nowhere to go. She will come begging, behabehabehabehabeha…"

- - -

Mirra stood still at a very huge pirate ship, twice of the submarine's size infront of her in its glory.

It is a two-mast with a fully square-rigged foremast and three sails on the main mast. A bronze statue in the shape of naked mermaid hung at the front of the ship with many skeletons tied to the railings that will scared not only children but also adults like a R-18 Halloween festival.

Mirra fixed the pants - she stole them - from sliding down, tying it as tight as possible around her waist. Ever since her clever brain had deduced that this is an inhabitant island and there's no boat for her to steal she was left with the sub only. But she had seen all the buttons and switches in the control room few times while hanging around the Hearts and she knew very damn well she knew nothing about it. That means she was left with - again, a choice that contradict to her mission - infiltrates the scumbags' ship, release the Hearts and escape together.

She internally cursed her luck. But she at least felt a bit better after her little bit play earlier. The first scumbag that was greeted by her lovely blade was about 2.4 meter taller than her. He was down with her blade punctured through his heart. The second received a clear behead, the immediate the blade was pulled out of the one's chest, a tad early before he could turn to look at the choking sound, and the third, was frozen in ice chunk. In summary it was a clean kill with the blood failed to taint her skin.

The clothes she wear was stolen from them. She tried making herself look as one of them. She could mend some clothes to just stuff them in the pants or fold the sleeves or tied the end to fit her short and small features but the biggest problem came from the boots. They're way too big for her small feet. And she wasn't actually that enticed to share boots with someone who probably never washes their legs. But she got no choice. She came into the forest barefooted and she can't show herself in front of the pirates barefooted too.

She tried tying the laces as tied as possible but still, with every steps she took she walked like a penguin. Whatever.

She approached the ship, slowly, to mask her penguin steps. She tried making herself as invisible as possible, to not be noticed by the nearby pirates. And she was silently smiling when she was about to reach the shore and climbed the ladder until two scumbags greeted her.

"Yo, how it's going over there? Find anything special? Any secret weapons? How about the chick? I can't believe she ran from us when she got nowhere to go hahahahaha", one of them slung his arm around her shoulder.

His mouth breathed alcohol.

The other one grinned, slightly tipping his head to take a look at her face. Mirra averted her eyes, lowered the brim of her hat that she wore at the same time hand itching to reach her blade in case they figure out.

The scumbag got closer, and chuckled when he noticed something.

"Are you getting shorter?" He playfully hit the rim of the hat and she immediately hold it back to prevent it from tipping off her head.

"Or is the sake doing the talk 'cuz I don't remember having this short crew member wahahahahaha." He slurred, laughing loudly and his friends boasted his laugh even more and they swung their sake to the left and right. Totally intoxicated.

Mirra elbowed the one leaning on her at the stomach, promptly ignoring their still mocking laughs as she walked away.

"Rude", he said, but eventually continue laughing, hysterically, over drunk.

After Mirra climbed the plank and stepped foot onto the deck she immediately took in the presence of the crew who are lazing around. Some are wasted, some are filling their time talking to each other while some…are more interested in watching her. Some of them eyed her with suspicions, but at the end unbother to do anything.

She entered the door to the ship, the first floor where the galley and the kitchen are, near the stern of the ship. There's a stair leading to the upper deck to a room above her but she wasn't intrigue to check. Hostages normally will be kept at the lowermost deck so her only focus is how to get below.

She took the second stair instead which is next to the first, descended to the upper lower deck. This floor has nothing other than cannons by the gunports, aligned next to each other at the both side of the ship. Cannon balls and bags of powders are at each side of the cannons, though not properly stacked, ready to be loaded whenever they wanted to sink someone's ship.

If Mirra had squinted her eyes and see to the end she will see a door with a wood plank written 'Captain' nailed to it. But she didn't because she is in rush. She continue descended to the middle lower deck below, which is the shared room for the crew.

Hammocks suspended from the ceiling in a double deck fashion. Medium size lockers are aligned at the back. Variety posters ranging from bounty posters to sexy women in bikini or birth suit pasted on the wall. Clothes and pants scattered on the floor. Foul smell penetrated her nose that she cringed. And pirates sleeping on their beds, snoring, with no care regarding the world. Finding pirates sleeping in the middle of the day is not surprising since they are basically useless, worthless piece of crap that got nothing better to do. Except her brother's crew. And probably, maybe Hearts too. And she's not in the time to criticized any pirate's crew because she is supposed to be in a rescue mission not becoming a judge.

So she quietly walked to the centre of the deck, bypassing the sleeping pirates to the stair that connecting to the lowermost deck. In between the crew's quarter and the capstan the stair was like glowing in bright shining yellow, beckoning her to get closer and be quick to her objective.

She almost reach, -

"Oii. Captain wants some of you to go searching for food." Until a pirate came down from the upper deck and stopped her. The sleeping pirates groaned and tossed in their beds upon the order. Mirra took a small step forward, but,

"You!" the man earlier caught her and pointed his finger, "get going with the rest to hunt."

Mirra mumbled something under her breath, but she turned anyways walking to him as to not raise suspicious. She is halfway to the upper deck when she turned again, but he grabbed her on the shoulder stopping her in track. "Where are you going?" His gruff voice questioned.

"Toilet," Mirra tried her best to imitate a man's voice, which if she had to score it it will be 8/10.

"Do it in the sea." He blatantly waved off her request.

And Mirra almost choke upon hearing it. And then she remembered, he is not like Hearts or her brother's crew, and he has no idea she's a female. So she hold back her retort.

Leaving with no choice she once again went back to the forest.

- - -

Shachi is pretty sure he had broken ribs, bleeding lips and swollen cheek. Every little movement he did caused his body to cry and whine. It's also painful with his hands both chained to the back with thick, rusty metal chain.

Rust….and metal…

He internally sighed st the repercussion of coming in contact with rusty metal when having open wound. For all he cares clostridium tetani is a fearsome, unseenable enemy, which most likely at the moment happily swimming in his bloodstream after breaking through his broken skin.

He will need a shot to kill those maggots otherwise tetanus is just around the clock. Which also applicable to most of the Hearts seeing how they are in similar shape if not any better. 7ml in total of tetanus vaccine for the crew, excluded any other medicines and bandages for them. Law won't be happy.

"Shachi, don't force yourself. You're making it worse." Xan mumbled quietly after seeing his friend won't stop trying to break free.

"We can't give up. Some of us is not here. They must be somewhere. We need to save them."

"We're screwed. We can't even free ourselves," Rain sighed from afar.

"Heart pirates don't die easily," Xan replied, shrugging his friend. His butt scuttled closer to the wall to lean against it. Cold.. Just like his soul..

"We're are still human Xan. The only persons with superpower are captain, Anko and Mirra-chan. I don't think any of us have better survival rate than them."

"Speaking of Mirra-chan, where is she? I hope she didn't get caught and is on her way to save us." Rain hopefully prayed.

"Why would she save us again? She's not part of the crew." But Anko muttered sadly.

Hiro's eye perked at the mention of the woman.

"You know why I hate that woman?" His voice resonated in the dark room.

"Not now, Hiro…" Anko sighed, and Ray nearby scoffed.

"Because she is a woman. In this situation when everyone gets caught, that woman get a special treatment, and by special treatment means nightmare to every woman. We don't need woman in our crew. Because we don't need someone who get mental breakdown after getting rape, torture and feed to the man because it'll be in our way and take all our time just to bring her back to her feet!"

"Shut up Hiro! This is not the time!" Ray scolded, leg extended to kick him. But it barely touched him.

"Hey guys, s-stop it…" Rain solemnly sighed.

But Hiro won't listen.

"Do you ever think that she could be the one causing this to us?!! We keep getting kidna –"

"What is your problem with her?!! You have been nothing but a jerk to her!! To every woman!!" Ray shifted on his knees, dragging himself to him. Rain immediately shot up and held him back.

"Guys, please stop it.." He meekly pled.

"So what?! I said what I said and women are nothing but troubles! We are far better off without them!" Hiro's neck strained from the anger he spouted.

"Oh yeah?! And you exist without your mom –" Ray got headbutt at the chin as Rain hollered.

"Stop this! Cool each of your heads! Haven't you realize our situation?! There's only seven of us here?!! We don't know where are the rest we should be worrying about other things right now!"

"Exactly…"

All faces turned to the low growl of the forth member of the crew.

"This is the damn why I have been trying to free myself." Shachi's eyes glowered in anger as his voice came out low and strained. "We don't know the situation of our other friends! And you guys think bickering about Mirra-chan is the most appropriate things to do in this situation! Why don't any of you motherfuckers haul your ass, and break that damn door with your head!! At least we get to somewhere!!!"

If Shachi's outburst wasn't a clear sign how stressed he is right now then it's time for them all to get drown in the sea. When was the last time Shachi's playful and light hearted attitude changed to scary demeanour that barely shown? If wasn't mistaken, 13 months ago, when someone scratched the submarine and painted dicks on it. Because this is not the normal anger he displayed like when he got hurt during battles, or when he was cheated by another pirate about treasure and was led to marines instead, or when Rain set his favourite shorts on fire by accidentally setting up the fire camp near to his drying clothes. But this is anger of truly anger, of when lives of his friends in the line, of where his captain's name was made fun off, or when someone trampled their pride aka their submarine.

Shachi's level of anger is only three; a normal anger that accompanied with 'tch' and dissing comments, an anger where someone will come back home with a nasty bruise, and a pure anger that can only resolved after he punched someone's teeth out and plucked them in back and forced them to eat raw potatoes before throwing them into a lava. If he's at the last stage not even the crew is spare from his snarl and deadly glare that outmatched captain's, and for safety reason if one still value their lives they shall not be any closer and came out with smart retort to him. Because no one can guarantee the person won't lose either an eyeball, a tongue or a toe until Law comes to the rescue and knock some sense into him, which is technically speaking by lightly hitting his head with his sword and told him to calm down.

Mirra finally back to sneaking in the ship again. She had ditched the hunting group, brought back whatever bugs, fruits, plants, - no scratch that, grasses, - that she found on her way back - edible or not, she doesn't care - and dumped them to the drunken-on-duty pirates. She made stories telling them those are edible and their drunkenness only causing their visuals to distort, and because of their stupidity and intoxicated state they agreed, and she walked away.

Right at the moment she reached the back of the ship the captain walked down the plank, and she immediately hide behind it.

The captain looked like a promising pirate, with scars on his face and a peg leg but when he slipped on the seventh step and rolled down like a hippo and face kissing the sand she knew he worth nothing. 15 million belli is wasted on him. The Marine must be too stupid to put such amount.

"Even Surgeon of Death can't stand against the sleeping gas. What a brat, thinking he can take on everyone. I'll get revenge with his life behabehabeha." He proudly laughed, coughing out sand in between as she let the information sink.

Captain Barith, Mud Leg Splinter. You're 25 million shorts from Tra-san's. I guess you need sleeping gas if that's the case, Mirra snorted before took the chance to slip in and disappeared to the deck.

She quickened her steps in her way to the lowermost deck. She simply skipped steps and jumped down instead using the staircase to cut short of her time, at the same time ignoring any wondering eyes that were watching her. When she finally at the middle lower deck and jumped down to the lowermost deck she bumped into one of the Barith's pirate, accidentally letting out a feminine squeal. She covered her mouth immediately but his widened eyes told her that her cover was discovered.

So her palm left her own mouth and reached to his instead, with a short knife pulled out from the strap around her thigh and his neck was slithered with perfect precision. Blood sputtered to her face and chest but she never let go his face and she watched him gurgled in silence and dropped dead. She released a heavy breath and immediately back to her track.

Two doors at each end, she noticed, and she took her chance at the first door at her left. Disappointed, because it is a storage room used to keep extra lumbers and rope. The other door, meanwhile, held the key to her escape.

- - -

"Anko, can't you use your power to free us?" Rain sighed.

"I can't. Where do you want me to bring you to anyways? From my left side then to right? Anyways I got sea stone chained to me so there's no use."

"Your power is useless."

"This power once protected you from being slash at the back. Just a reminder."

"You know I kinda miss my room in the sub right now. Far from noise. Far from your stupidity fights. Far from everything…" Xan mumbled in his low breath. He rocked his left leg slightly. Anko had his head on his other one, lying on it because he got bored and choose to count the spiders on the ceiling instead.

The crew threw Xan dirty glances, retorted with "fuck off" and "useless." Xan farted as a response.

"Xan, I missed the sub as well." Anko pushed himself up from his lying position. "But right now, I think what intrigued me more is why the fuck does V still sleeping? Wake up you idiot how long more you plan to fall unconscious?" He kicked V's on the shoulder making the male groaned in pain.

"I'm dead, idiot," he replied.

"Dead man doesn't talk. If you want to die do it far from us. We don't want your stinky corpse to moulder here." Anko snorted.

V retorted with his face against the floor which came out as incoherent mumble. The rest sighed telling him to shut up or stop breathing and Rain rolled his eyes as he commented;

"I told you guys V will die as a virgin."

"I'm not dead!" immediately V wakes up.

Suddenly they heard rattling doorknob. Everyone went silence.

All eyes fixed on it and V went back to lying position in a heart beat, whispering "tell them I died, so they can toss my body outside and I'll free you guys afterwards." He earned doubtful looks from his friends because they think the plan is stupid, but they actually down for it because they are desperate. If this one fail they'll proceed to eat Xan and pretend to be infected by zombie disease so the enemies get scared and run away.

A 'click' reached their ears and the doorknob stopped rattling. A dim light peered in from the opening crack, followed by a silhouette of a short person in a baggy attire. A low gasp came out and the person's feet rushed to their side.

No. To Shachi's side.

"Shachi, hey, are you okay?" she kneeled immediately and pushed him up by the chest, supporting him. "What'd happened?"

"Mirra-chan? W-where's captain?"

"I don't know?? I was all alone since last night. Hold on. I'll help you -" the door opened wider and someone stepped in and she snapped her head to them.

"Yo. Need a hand?" A familiar voice greeted them.

At first everyone was tensed but as the silhouette stepped closer it was Kyle. Another person appeared behind him and it was Loki, though he closed the door again making the room dark and shadows befell on them.

The Hearts sighed in relief.

"You guys are safe!" Anko jovially shouted.

"Yeah… we were lucky to not get caught." Kyle's eyes trailed to Mirra, smiling.

Shachi almost greeted them and expressed his relief for having them to come and save them. But he noticed Mirra went rigid by his side. He peered to her face, and he noticed she was frowning and glaring.

"Loki, we need to help them. Hurry and -"

"No! Stay there, don't move! Tell me where did you come from?" Immediately Mirra screamed halting their step.

"What do you mean where did we come from?"

"Exactly what it sounds like. Why aren't you guys tied up like them?"

"We manage to escape the pirates last night. We hide in this island before we decide to help you guys." Kyle said while attempted to move again.

Mirra's hand immediately flew to the hilt of her blade that strapped by her waist sending him silent threats. Kyle caught it. He stopped moving.

She eyed them up and down.

"That outfit. Where did you get them?"

"M-mirra?? what are -"

"Your friends here are in nothing than their sleeping attire yet you two dressed much like those pirates outside. Won't you explain?"

"You are wearing their clothes as well."

"I stole them. But how 'bout you guys?"

"We stole them as well," Loki calmly replied.

"How?"

Kyle started to get irk. "What do you mean how? What's the point of this? Aren't we going to save them? Let's skip this -"

"I stole this cloth by killing those losers. How about you guys?" Mirra shifted her legs to repositioned herself so she could faced them more. One of her knee pressed onto the floor while another bent with the feet on the floor.

"We killed them as well, that's how we get the clothes," Loki sighed and scratched his eyebrows as if he was saying something oblivious. He saw Mirra was smirking, and scoffing, and laughing, and her chest rumbled from the soft giggles.

"So I take that the size fits you perfectly because he is as big as you? And that name at the sleeve coincidentally same as yours because he got the same name as you too?"

Loki's hand froze, her words sunk in into his brain and he watched her smirk disappeared. "That's some pretty nice coincidence don't you think, Gumbo Pirates?"

Silence.

The room is dead silence.

Shachi went agape. He turned to look at Mirra, disbelief. Hiro perked at the words, stared with wide eyes at the two. Anko and Rain looked a each other to get confirmation that they weren't hearing wrong. Xan kept his head lowered hidden under the brim of his cap and V peeked at the two's faces from his lying position.

When Loki and Kyle didn't defense themselves Mirra pressed them more with her theories.

"Last night I remember, you were wearing brown boots fighting the intruders." Her eyes dropped to his shoes that are in black and red. "You don't happen to find it necessary to change them if you simply killing and stealing their clothes, right?"

Then her eyes shifted to the other Gumbo, Kyle.

"I also happened to spy the sub earlier to see the situation I was in. I think I saw you Kyle. Your back was all I see but the tattoo by your forearm, I recognized it. And you were laughing and hitting one another playfully, like you guys have been knowing each other from the beginning. I can't stop wondering why."

Loki and Kyle clenched their jaws at the reveal. They fisted their hands, silently glare although their eyes were barely seen hidden behind the shadow that overcast them. Mirra could sense their penetrating glare. They are the telltale signs told by them that she better shut up now.

With the silence filling the air and the information clouding everyone's mind the only thing that everyone hear is each other's breathing, before Anko broke it with a slow mutter of "whaaattt…the…fuuck…???" after a long tiring 35 seconds of silence.

Loki chuckled. His body shook from the amusing grin and he brought his palm to cover half of his face. His quiet laugh turned louder as he took steps forward, bringing his figure to a clearer view to everyone's eyes.

"You catch me. I thought we played it well." The shadow that loomed over his head disappeared and he swept his hair up revealing a pair of menacing eyes.

Mirra shifted as she pressed closer to Shachi.

"It was this island that make me think something was off. As far as I remember no one ever mention reaching an island. Penguin and Loki were also the helmsmen last night and when I didn't see them here my suspicious rose. It is much easier to change the course when Bepo and everyone else falls asleep. I can go on with my theories but I think that's enough."

"Smart, Mirra. You impressed me. So, should we go somewhere else than here?" Kyle taunted. He flipped the end of his coat, purposely showing the gun by his hip.

"You two… did this?" Shachi's voice fell, and quivered. Mirra took a sneak peak at his face, and she could tell that he was disheartened eventhough his face is hidden by his hat and shades.

"Yes, we are the Gumbo Pirates, serve under the one and the only Captain Barith."

Upon the confession the shackles and chains chinked as the Hearts raged and moved. They cursed and threw dirty glances to them but Loki and Kyle were in fits at their despair.

"For how long? How long have you guys fake it?" Hiro forced himself to his knee, glaring daggers before coughing out a fit of blood.

"From the very beginning."

"Why?!!"

"Captain Barith had some grudge against Trafalgar, after he humiliated him sometimes ago. He planned to kill him now as a revenge."

"And of course, there's more reason to that but why do we need to tell you guys?" Kyle cut in.

"You traitor! You're gonna regret this! We will make you pay!!" Hiro burst in anger.

"Is Penguin involved in this?" Mirra raised her question, calmly speaking to divert the two's attention from provoking the Hearts more.

But before they could answer Shachi spoke first. "No, Penguin will never betray captain. He isn't here. Probably locked at somewhere else."

He glared up and Loki returned with a triumphant smug.

"Where are they? Captain and the other Hearts?" Shachi inquired. Though he sounded calm, he's actually shaking inside. Shaking with anger.

"Somewhere in a cave, getting a different type of torture." Loki boredly answered.

"Now we don't have any business with you guys so just sit tight like a baby." Kyle stopped the meaningless conversation as he looked at each of the Heart pirates' faces, and turned to Mirra.

"You-" Shachi wanted to retaliate but he stopped when he felt something small, long, solid and cold dropped to his palm. He turned to her and she briefly glanced at him.

"Mirra, step back and leave them now. You are coming with us to see Captain Barith." Kyle ordered. "And if you disagree, I'll blow one of their heads."

He pulled out a gun and pointed it to Xan and Anko. Either one will be a carcass first if Mirra refuse. But she remained unmoved.

"Hurry up, I don't have all the time." He pulled the trigger to enforce a bigger threat.

"What business do I have with your captain?" Clear to say, Mirra didn't have a choice.

"Oh, you will know…."

Shaking body, laboured breathing, fast heart beats and dried lips, it wasn't a good sign. And Law knew it well. Many time he tried tried to shake of the dizziness but his head thumped louder and felt strained.

He is dizzy. Very.

Penguin is leaning against his back. He shuffled slightly at the nth times of Law's groan, craning his neck slightly to behind to see his captain. Worry etched on his face, but it was covered by his stupid hat.

"Captain, are you okay? Your body is hot," Penguin could feel very well the heat that sipped into his cloth.

"It's nothing. Probably fever," Law said in shaken voice. I can't sweat no matter how hot my body is. What did they feed me?

"You sure? Doesn't sound good to me."

"How's Bepo?" Law smoothly ignored the question.

Both males craned their necks to the polar bear that not far from them but has been out of function for sometimes now.

"Still sleeping," Penguin sighed. And he could feel Law slide and leaned more against him, dejected.

Law didn't like this situation at all.

He has been brought to this cave - hands handcuffed, seastones - along with whole-body chained Penguin and Bepo - like a tortilla wrap - last night. The pirates splashed them with cold water, waking them up in the process, proceed with torturing them without any words and knocked them out again after forcing him to swallow something.

This situation brought him back to the similar situation he was in previously. The last time it happened Mirra was there to burst him out with her picking skill, but he couldn't count on that again at this moment. With everyone on the deck knocked out due to the sleeping gas he didn't rule out the possibility that her to be in the same boat as them.

Fuck!

He hates this. As the captain and the doctor of the crew it is his duty to keep everyone safe, and he is doing a very poor job at the moment.

"How are you holding up, Penguin?"

Law had seen his injuries as well as Bepo's so many times by now that it pretty much printed to his brain. He didn't need to ask about it. But he just wanted to strike some conversation, just to put him a bit at ease, despite he's not sure where this thing will lead too.

"Pretty good actually. I don't feel the pain from the beating anymore."

"Careful. Losing sense of pain could mean that body parts died."

"It's so charming how you can say that in a casual tone, captain."

Penguin's ease was interrupted as Law coughed loudly at the sudden constricted pain in his chest. His body shook with every cough and he crunched forward bringing his knees to his chest. The pain is so intense. He felt like his body is on fire.

His view blurred and Penguin's voice of calling him getting faintly heard. He found himself losing away.

Very soon he blacked out, body slipping from his sitting position and his head hit the cold ground.

And Penguin's voice echoed in the cave screaming his name, instead of his title.

- - -

Shachi released his breath that he didn't know he has been holding.

He peeked over the capstan, watching the pirates changed direction at the last minute. It was a close call. Had they decided to head straight, he'll be spotted, chaos will erupt, and he'll be thrown to the room again, making Mirra's effort in freeing him - she used her power to create an ice key and passed to his hand behind his back earlier - to waste.

Shachi heard a loud thump on the deck above him followed by roar of laughs as he broke into a room. He tried his best to ignore it, as his eyes focus on searching what he wanted. But with each passing minute the laughs getting louder and he got distracted more.

Mirra-chan.. Please hold on…

He hated to think it but if he has to guess the crew is having their ways in having fun with Mirra after her captured. Shachi prioritized consent. If the women he ever flirt with never want him to go further then he won't do it. So the thought of Mirra was forced for it didn't sit fine to him. And if it really happen and they are too late to her rescue he will forever blame himself.

Shachi shook his head vigorously to erase the thought and focus back on his task.

He's currently in a room called lab, based on the signboard hanging above the door. He's searching for the keys to his friends' lock but it seems like they aren't here. If anything the room has a very big metal table at the right corner of the room, where beakers and test tubes and bunsen burner and flasks and pipets and tongs and many more are set in array and arranged manner. Some are filled with liquids in various colours while some are left empty clean.

The room reminded him to his captain's office, where sets of petri dishes and cell cultured flasks are placed on a metal cupboard, with different bacteria and vero cells cultured inside. The only difference would be the captain's office is way cleaner than this lab.

Leaving the room because he couldn't find what he seeks for he took the stair to the upper lower deck to continue his search.

Clione couldn't bring to believe what he had just heard ten minutes ago. He refused to believe it, but the more he deny it the more the memory replayed in his head.

Clione is also the traitor that caused the capture of Trafalgar Law. He did that because of his loyalty to Captain Barith, who had saved him from the pirates that raided his hometown and killed everyone five months ago. He was very grateful of Barith's kindness and as a repay he will always be by his side and follow every one of his command.

But little did he know the mastermind behind the raid, arsonist and destruction of his hometown was Barith and the crew themselves. He had misjudged them. He served under the one that took away his everything. And he found it out when he accidentally listened to the crew's drunken talk whom brought up the topic of the disaster that had happened months ago.

Now truly despondent and devoid of any emotion Clione is truly at lost. He wanted a revenge. But that's impossible. His strength is nothing compared to his captain, and the entire crew. He felt disgusted for all this time doing whatever the man told him to. But he didn't want to just sit and mourn. Nothing will chance. And he will forever stuck here. What should he do? Should he just run amok and try his luck? Should he just do it and waste whatever last dignity he has? What normally people will do in this situation? What will a pirate do for a revenge?

What will captain Law do?

Shocked, Clione never thought Law's name will come to his mind. A pirate who is also a captain, a doctor and a surgeon, whom took him in when he pretended to be interested to be part of his crew. The man who always treated his injuries eventhough it was just a scratch. The man who had cut his body to multiple pieces and scattered them around the sub but at the end still give him money so he can have fun with the rest when docked at an island.

The man who never doubted him, James, Loki and Kyle as a double faced scumbag.

Guilt, sympathy, anger and disappointment, all emotions mixed and stirred his tired heart. Clione doesn't know the right thing to do at the moment. To revenge Barith he has no strength. To release Law and the rest he has no plans. If Mirra is here maybe he could be honest about everything and beg her to help again. But where's she? Where's she hiding in this forest? Without the sub or ship she can't leave the island. Then what's her plan?

Then realization struck him. Of course, that is her plan.

Without any ship and sub she can't escape. That means she will need the Hearts to escape. Releasing only the crew then they won't budge unless Law is saved. Saving Law only and that man won't leave his men behind. That means whatever she decided to do she has to include the 10 lives of Hearts. And that means he could help her, increase her success rate in freeing the others and watch Barith's defeat in the hands of the Heart pirates.

So that's it. With new determination Clione disappeared to the lowermost deck.

- - -

Peering over the small window on the door of the kitchen Shachi watched the scene played right in front of his eyes. Anger took over and he sent the most deadliest glare he could, and if his glare could kill he'll be in more than delight to throw away his shades and shoot at each of the Barith's man.

"Shut up, bitch!"

A tick formed on his forehead when he watched Mirra got kicked so she will bow, with a leash tied to a metal collar around her neck. Barith stood in proud over her small figure.

Shachi's anger doubled when they throw provocative words. They laughed loudly while humiliating her, telling her to lick their captain's shoes as she attempted to refuse. And Shachi almost jumped out of his hiding place, can't stand it anymore after seeing the captain slapped her rear when she disobeyed. Clione who happened to pass the area had immediately extended his arm and pulled him back, one hand around his mouth to shut him up.

"Shachi, it's me!" He whispered right next to his ear.

"Clione? How did you escape?"

"I… I was never been locked up."

"What? Why--.. You…. You are a traitor too, right?" Immediately Shachi jerked his arm away and readied to strike.

But Clione lifted up his hands in surrender.

"Please, stop! Listen to me! I know I'm bad but I'm here to fix it! I know where captain keep the key to your friends' lock we can save them!"

Shachi held back his fist but his frown never leave. He opened his mouth to speak but he heard the sound of slap and he turned to Mirra again.

"Release my friends! Where did you keep the key to their locks?" Shachi heard she shouted. Her face bruised from the slap.

A man with whole tattooed arm grabbed her by the collar and lifted her up.

"Don't be rude to captain." He snarled.

Then he brought her face closer to his. He stayed still watching her face and he attempted to kiss, but she spat immediately stopping his motion. Mirra received another hard slap, this time busted her lips. She retorted by headbutting his head before another guy slammed her head down to the deck.

Captain Barith walked to her, head still pressed to deck as he lifted her chin up. "Pretty fierce, aren't you? I like it…" He laughed.

Mirra could do nothing other then recoiled back in disgust.

"We have to go now. The longer we stay the trouble Mirra will get." Clione's grab snapped Shachi's back. He turned to Clone, tsked, and gave Mirra a final look before agreeing.

But before they leave, "if you do something funny I'll break your neck immediately," Shachi threatened. The end of Clione's neck hair stood as he could feel the truth in his word. He gulped heavily as he led Shachi to Barith's room, where he knows where the keys are.

"Bepo, how's Law?"

Bepo blinked few times to chase away the blurriness he felt after being just woken up from a harsh knock on his face. His vision took some time to sharpen back to normal and currently he's seeing three Law lying, unconscious.

"Bepo??!"

"Yes??" Bepo finally fully aware of his surrounding.

"How's captain?!" Penguin desperately asked. He's facing away from Bepo's back, because his hands were tied to his back and he's trying to pick Bepo's lock from a very uncomfortable angle. But the small pin that he pulled out from Bepo's boiler suit wasn't cooperating. That or it was actually useless from the beginning.

"He's still sleeping. I think his breathing become harder. I can hear his strained breathe." Bepo analyzed few meters from Law.

"F-fuck!"

Penguin cursed when his last attempt to pick on Bepo's lock turned futile. His wrists are hurt from this angle.

"Bepo, think of something. We need to break free from this chains otherwise we can't save captain."

"T-think of what?" Fear clouded Bepo's mind and he started tearing away.

"Anything. And think fast we don't have much time!" With each passing minute Penguin is getting antsy, that he accidentally rose his voice to Bepo.

Bepo didn't take it well. He furrowed his eyes in slight anger.

"Why I have to do the thinking??! You must figure out as well!" Bepo barked.

"I am you idiot! But I just couldn't find any!" And Penguin barked back.

"I can't find ways to get out as well! And my head hurts. So, stop forcing me to think!" Bepo leaned backward pressing Penguin's back forcing him to bend forwards.

Cursing Penguin immediately turned around, and Bepo fell as he got on his knees and towering over Bepo's face.

"Well if you can stop crying then maybe I'll think that you actually do some thinking!" Penguin falsely accused.

The situation didn't get any better as they both continue barking at each other.

Shouts and screams can be heard as the Heart Pirates ambushed Gumbo Pirates on the deck. The Heart pirates stole whatever weapons they are comfortable with - courtesy to Clione whom led them to weaponry storage room after freeing them - to assist them in the fights.

Mirra sighed in relief as she watched them finally free from the chains. She didn't plan for herself to be in one instead, but a little bit error is fine as long as there's someone will help to free her later. Though, now that she has a better view under the sunlight she could see their battered conditions which posed the risk of them failing to fight properly.

She was harshly snapped away from her thoughts when Barith aggressively pulled the leash to her neck, promptly forcing her to stand up. That stupid sea stone made her on his mercy. And she really wondered how the hell pirates could get their hands on the stone.

"Stop right there! Make any movement and I'll throw her to the sea!" Barith threatened after dragging her close to the railing. Worries washed over the Hearts as they stopped fighting hesitantly.

"No, don't! Don't worry about me! Just… fight them all! Kick their ass! Do what you pirate always do!"

"You've got some guts girl. Do you wanna die that badly?" Barith spun her and bare fangs to her face.

Mirra recoiled backwards in disgust, "maybe after I piss on your dead body", daring to trigger him more.

Barith twitched, and a tick formed on his forehead.

"Then die!!" His mud immediately circled her torso, in a tight vice grip and he swung her up from her feet. He acted like he's a cowboy, preparing to throw a lasso to somewhere. Only the difference, she is the lasso.

In an instant Mirra regretted her sharp mouth because she felt like vomiting.

"Heart Pirates! Let see how far your girl can fly! Behabehabehabeha!"

"Let go of her!"

"I'm gonna kill you if you hurt Mirra-chan!"

Their shouts were muted by Barith's nonstop laughing. He is so ready to Mirra to the open sea, but then Clione suddenly appeared from behind, and cut the mud that held Mirra with his sword. Immediately before she could bang her head to the deck Clione catched her bridal style. And poor his sword was tossed away.

"What are you thinking you are doing, Clione?!!" Barith's anger flowed like a molten lava.

"Things that I should've done since long time ago. Kill you!"

"You are a traitor now?!"

"Don't act saint when you yourself is the mastermind behind the destruction of my hometown, you stupid two toothless leg-peg third rate pirate!"

"RRRRRAAAAAAAHHHH KILL HIM!!!! Whoever kill him I award with anything!!! And kill every single of Heart pirates here!"

Barith's order fuelled motivation to his subordinates and they started to fight again.

As every Hearts are busy fending off against their attacks Barith is chasing Clione to get his hands back on Mirra. Clione started to lose his strength and swayed in steps. In the first place he wasn't the type with much strength. So having an additional 52 kg in his hands isn't fun. His hold on Mirra started to get loose.

"Mirra, you're heavy."

"I can throw up on you. I might lose some weight and it could help", she said in a muffled voice as her face pressed to his clothed chest.

"Please don't."

At the end Clione slipped on Barith's mud in his attempt to run away. He accidentally dropped her throwing her a feet away from him. Mirra staggered to get on her knees back eventhough she knew it's impossible with seastone draining her strength. And Barith rushed with his mud, controlling his devil fruit power to catch her back. Luckily Mirra is saved by Ray who scooped her up at the last minute and took off, again, with her in bridal style.

"Hold on tight, there's enemies in front of us," Ray whispered, shifting one arm to be under her knees and another to hold his knife in front of her in a protective manner.

"Do your thing. I'll be fine," she mumbled, hands coiled around his neck and face stuffed to his bare chest.

Ray didn't need to be told twice. He lunged forward with a knife aimed to the attacker's necks, cutting them swiftly resulting in fountain of blood spraying around. Then he continued swinging his weapon, slaying, slashing and stabbing any incoming pirates in his way.

All the swirling, and bumping, and falling, and scooping - also the smell of blood - is too much for Mirra to take. Her stomach lurched, sending signal she should be ready for the incoming waves of half digested food going up to her mouth. She knew she can't tell Ray to stop moving otherwise they are dead. But she could warn him of what's coming, because warning is important when you're about to do something brazen. Or disgusting.

"Ray, I'm so sorry but I need to vomit."

"Hold it a bit Mirra. I'll put you down soon."

He said that, but contradict to it he just had to jump to the ship mast's net, hanging at the net in swaying motion. That worsen Mirra's nausea.

"I'm sorry, I can't." Mirra apologized beforehand.

When she felt the wave of nausea came, instead of holding it back, she let it flow, flow like the majestic Niagara Falls, completed with hideous gurgling sound and maybe with two or three chunks of this morning's apples that she snacked.

Of course Mirra still has the decent to not dirtying the male. So she did her best to turn her head away from Ray's chest earlier but due to her position there's so little flexibility her neck could crane. So in the end she vomited on herself, and the fetid solution pooled between her clothed chest and Ray's naked chest.

She sniffed, apologizing to the man.

But because Ray isn't responding she looked up from under his chin. She couldn't see his eyes because they are being shadowed, but she noticed the tense on his shoulder blades.

"Let's get ourselves clean." Ray finally said after a painful minute of silence.

"Eh? What do you mean?"

"I'm going to jump into the sea, so hold your breath as long as you could." He started to swing, with a strength of no ordinary man could muster.

The words sunk in and Mirra paled. "W-wait Ray I never hold my breath under water, I can't - "

Ray released his grip on the net, and Mirra screamed before the two hit the cold water.

Ray swam to the bottom of the ship with the female still in his hands. He stayed hidden as bullets from riffles and guns suddenly rained at their previous place. The Gumbo pirates tried to shoot them to death.

Mirra tried her best to hold as long as she could. But because it wasn't an occasional situation where she got herself drowned so she can't last long. She gripped Ray's forearm, sending the message. And Ray slowly swam back up, but kept themselves closed to the ship's body so the bullets won't reach them.

When he's sure there's no more threat and the bullets stop raining he swan them back to the shore.

Mirra coughed out the salty water from her system, desperately forcing air down to her lungs. She wanted to stare dagger at Ray, but knowing that he probably did that as a revenge for her vomiting on his so she kept it to herself.

Sitting on her she watched as the Hearts and Clione rushed to their side.

Clione immediately kneeled next to her and he unlocked the metal collar around her neck letting it dropped with a soft thud on the sand. He smiled lightly - though guiltily - and handed back her blade. Mirra knew why he felt troubled but she still didn't forget to thank him.

"Where are the Gumbo pirate? Have they all been defeated?" Ray questioned upon noticing everyone is there on the shore and not fighting any more.

"They run to the forest for no reason", Hiro answered him. He let loose the arms he that crossed infront of his chest as he walked casually to Mirra and Clione. Immediately he grabbed the traitor by his collar, bringing him to his feet.

"Tell me. How many of you guys into this plan?"

"Only four. Me, James, Loki and Kyle. There's no one else."

Giro tightened his grip and pulled Clone closer to his face. "Then where's the hell is captain, Bepo and Penguin?"

"I-in the forest. They are chained…somewhere in a cave." Clione struggled to speak since Hiro is suffocating hin with his hold.

Next to them Mirra wiggled her toes after pulling out her right boot from his foot and tossing it away. Earlier while she was in the sea she lost her left boot. Since she didn't see the logic to wear only one boot she decided to go back bare feet.

"I don't see Shachi, where is he?" Mirra rose her curiosity after scanning the group and counting heads.

"I think I see him running to the forest", Rain interrupted.

"Why though?"

"Like I said.. The other three is inside somewhere in the forest. Shachi probably wanted to free them."

"Hmmmm… Is that so?"

"You asshole. You should have told us earlier!" Hiro dumped Clione on the sand harshly.

"Does he know the way?" Mirra questioned again.

"Maybe yes, maybe no." And Clione replied with sore voice, massaging his painful neck.

"He's alone there, and a bunch of weaklings just retreated to the forest. Doesn't sound good." Anko and Xan walked to them joining their conversation wiping of blood from the scratched on cheek and lips. Ray is standing not far from them watching V at the side that still beating the shit out of the life of the remaining Gumbo pirates that already half dead.

V screamed profanities loudly, angered at the fact that the pirates had bruised his handsome face (according to himself).

"I'll go search him," Ray offered suddenly found interest in rescuing Shachi who is rescuing their captain and another two mates.

Hearing that Mirra quickly stood up, taking off the offensive stolen cloth from her skin. She sighed in relief when the wet clothes no longer weighing her down, especially since the sea water is soaking the material and her strength is hindered.

"I'll come with you," she offered herself after she's back to her previous sleeping attire, the sports bra and the sleeping pant. Everyone looked at her in wonder.

"What?"

"You gonna run around the forest with only that. Where poisoning plants could scratch and kill you?" Anko said, amused, though he's being not decency at all when checking the female up and down.

"Ray is no different", she pointed to the half-naked man next to her.

"Good luck then. Hope you don't touch poison ivy," Anko wished half-heartedly.

"Why you never wish me one?" Ray said, disappointed, as he crossed his arms.

Anko ignored him and at the background they could hear V whistled and mumbled 'nice figure'.

- - -

They all watched the two disappeared into the forest – of course after Clione pointed where the cave is – before turning to each other again. They locked gaze, and asked telepathically on what to do now but suddenly the some of the Gumbo pirates that have been hiding away came out from their ship with bazookas and cannons out to the deck.

"Well we still got some small fries. Let's go kick some ass." V pointed to them.

"I regret telling you guys now.." Clione's trailed and their attention shifted to him. "But Gumbo pirates separated into two direction when they run just now."

He took a pause and the entire group waited patiently.

"One of the groups headed that way," Clione pointed his index finger to the direction of where Mirra and Ray had just disappeared, "and the other one that way," and the same finger pointed to another direction, "where the submarine is."

One… Two… Three seconds later. When they got what he's trying to imply they immediately on their feet.

"Damn you Clione, you will get a pack of punch from us after this!" Anko screamed. He, V and Hiro rushed to their submarine.

"You take care those bastards over there and we'll handle these leftovers!" Rain shouted as now he and Xan are preparing themselves to fight against Gumbo pirates that started firing bazookas and cannons.

To be continued
