Speed Dating – Part 1:

"Hi guys! So, we're here at the Jasmine Dragon, in Republic City –"

"Yes, and if you don't know what this video is about," Sokka cut Aang off as stepped up and covered most of the camera while Aang and Zuko both shook their heads in annoyance, "them man here are single. So, for this series we've lined up a couple of girls for speed dates."

As Sokka ended the monologue Aang was meant to deliver, he stepped back and offered his friends an apologetic smile, hoping they'd forgive him for his eagerness.

"At the end of the speed dates, the girls will pick their favourite, and the person with the most points will win." Aang stated as he explained the rules, though, almost as an afterthought, he added to continue the dialogue, "and it looks like Sokka here is more than ready for – "

"Yeah!" Sokka shouted, as he clasped his hands in excitement before he caught on and backpedalled somewhat, "Nah – I mean…"

"Don't try to take that back," Zuko scoffed out as he shook his head once again.

"You're moving mad, you know that?" Aang told Sokka while he tried to reassure his boys.

"Nah! C'mon guys. Like remember, we all got good qualities here;" Sokka pointed towards Aang as they fist bumped while Zuko groaned in annoyance as he was stuck between them. "Like, you're the cute and funny guy, and not to mention the Avatar – but none of these girls know that," Sokka reminded the viewers as he turned to face the camera.

When they both noticed Zuko groaning between them, they both gave their boy a side hug as Sokka narrated, "And of course, we have his fieriness himself… scar-faced-Tony-Montana wannabe looking ass, Rolex wearing, emo-haired-flexing…"

Zuko, through his spikey dark hair and dipped head, put his hood on in an attempt to cover his face furthermore as the embarrassment was causing his face to flush.

"But anyways, yeah, lets get on with it. Like, share and subscribe!"

Sokka waited eagerly while seated at the table, wearing a black hat over his ponytail, a white tee, a black Nike jacket over it and light blue ripped jeans with a pair of Timberland Boots. As the first girl walked through the doors of the Jasmine Dragon, Sokka turned to the camera, which would capture both him and the girl – Aang and Zuko were also watching them along with their viewers through this camera upstairs – he mouthed the words: 'Fuck, she is beautiful', before he turned back to her and beamed.

"Hi there," the girl with short auburn hair, a green drop shoulder, crop top, black ripped jeans, and a pair of black Converse shoes cooed as she walked up to where Sokka was seated and smiled at him.

"My god, you are beautiful," Sokka stated, seeming like he was entranced as he goofily smiled at her in return.

'Oh, fam he is whipped already', Aang exclaimed as he nudged Zuko's shoulder who smiled and nodded in agreement.

"Why thank you," the girl quipped as she shook Sokka's hand and took her seat across from him.

"What's your name?" Sokka asked cheerily.

"Suki," she smiled.

"That's a lovely name," Sokka grinned while Suki chuckled, "My name's Sokka, by the way. It's lovely to meet you."

"It's lovely to meet you too," Suki smiled back and Sokka seemed as entranced as ever. "You alright?" She asked when she noticed he had lost his sense of self and was just outright staring at her goofily – she found it adorable.

"Your smile is golden, you know that?"

Suki grinned and as she mock bowed and cooed, "Oh, I know."

Excited beyond belief, Sokka slammed his hand on the table as he shouted at the camera, "My girl said: 'I know'!" Sokka exclaimed towards the camera as he tried to stand up but couldn't due to his injured foot – Suki just giggled at the exchange he was having with the camera. "My girl got me so excited, that I thought both my legs were working properly! But they're not."

'Nah, he actually likes her,' Zuko stated as he watched how awestruck Sokka was over this girl.

'Man's already calling her: 'My girl',' Aang stated with a goofy smile as he continued to watch on.

"How'd you injure your leg by the way?"

"S-Sorry?" Sokka asked, tried to by some time so he could come up with a believable excuse.

"Your leg," Suki pointed towards it when Sokka settled down, "What happened?"

"Oh, that – " Sokka rubbed the back of his head as he played tug of war within his mind, wondering whether he should tell the truth or waffle. "I tore my ligament when I rolled of the bed…"

Zuko leaned back and shook their head in disbelief while Aang hung his head laughing, because they already knew the truth that Sokka likely wouldn't admit to.

"So, you broke your leg," Suki asked, her eyebrow arching sceptically, "when you rolled of your bed?"

"Nah, I tore my ligament."

"When you rolled off the bed?" Suki was still somewhat sceptical.

"Yeh… while I was doing a mad ting'."

'Why you lying?" Zuko asked no one in particular as he tore his eyes away from the screen in front of him and looked towards the camera, acting as if he were speaking to Sokka himself.

Aang, knowing the viewers would be confused, also turned to the camera as he elaborated, 'So, the video hasn't been uploaded yet but basically, Sokka here was dared to ask Toph out on a date and… well, since man was soooooo cocky, he thought he'd raise the stakes a little.'

'He told us he'd go up to her,' Zuko continued for Aang as he too faced the camera while donning his red glasses, 'and he said he'd ask her: "If I flip a coin, what's the chance of me getting head?'

Aang and Zuko both laughed hysterically at the memory while Aang snorted out through his laughter, 'And as you can see,' he pointed to Sokka's injured leg displayed on the screen, 'the coin didn't land on heads, but he most certainly did.'

"The mad ting is you waking up?" Suki asked, chuckling as she knew Sokka wasn't being entirely honest – most likely due to an embarrassing truth, though, she didn't really mind it.

"Yeah, but anyways," Sokka tried to steer the conversation away from his leg as he leaned forward slightly when their drinks arrived; Sokka slurping on his chocolate milkshake while Suki slurped down her strawberry and watermelon smoothie. "When was the last time you went on a date?"

"A couple months ago," Suki answered as she placed down her smoothie. "It was just a quick thing; my friends kinda forced me into it cause like, I wasn't going out much – "

"And why did that end?" Sokka asked curiously.

The auburn-haired girl shrugged her shoulders in response, "I don't know, I guess I just have bad luck in guys."

"BAD LUCK?" Sokka exclaimed, truly concerned how such a beaty could consider herself unlucky at all. When she nodded, he simply rambled on, "Your skin is shining, you know."

'Ahh man,' Zuko groaned, shaking his head while Aang raised his fist in the air, cheering his mate on. 'He's hopeless.'

'Let's go! My guy! Secure that bag, Sokka!'

Sokka, still hadn't stopped rambling compliments towards her, "Your face is amazing, your lips are mad… if you was my girl I'd suck lips every day before I go to bed – "

"Aww shut up, man!" Suki exclaimed, glancing away to hide her blush and grin; all evidence of how she pictured everything he was saying and didn't mind at all.

"Nah, fo' real," Sokka stated as he took another slurp of his milkshake.

Zuko just gaped at the screen while Aang continued gassing him up. 'Aye… aye what's going on man?'

'He's too good!' Aang exclaimed as he turned to Zuko and stated, 'He's not giving us a chance.' Zuko simply shook his head in disbelief while Aang continued speaking, 'He said he'll suck lips.'

'I can hear what he's saying,' Zuko deadpanned.

"What do you do for a living?" Sokka asked as he placed his forearms flat on the table and leaned forward slightly.

"I teach martial arts and I model sometimes."

"See, like, I knew you'd be into like… something creative you know…" Suki nodded as she smiled and took a sip of her smoothie when Sokka asked her another question. "So, what's like… your goal in life?"

She though for a moment as she tapped her chin, "To be successful and happy; success is me being happy… and having enough money to make me happy."

"So, do you define success with money or like?"

Aang and Zuko both had their mouths agape while sharing knowing looks when Suki answered.

"No, I define people with success."

Aang and Zuko both laughed and grinned when Sokka looked knowingly at the camera.

'Aye, yo – I've… I've actually won this," Zuko chuckled as Aang took a hold of his wrist and waved it in front of their camera, flexing Zuko's Rolex watch for the whole world to see. 'I've already won this. Let's just call it a day,' Zuko repeated as he chuckled again while Aang continued to wave his watch at the camera.

Ignoring her last comment, Sokka attempted to start the conversation again, "So, what else do you – " But he halted when the alarm rang, signifying that the 5 minute long speed date was now over.

Suki looked around and wondered whether she was to stay and wait for the next person or leave and then come back. "Aye, you're amazing though," Sokka stated as he sat up and walked over towards the exit.

"I'll be seeing you later babes," he declared as he skipped upstairs to where Aang and Zuko were currently residing.

Suki continued smiling and sipping her strawberry and watermelon smoothie while Sokka dabbed up Aang and Zuko. "Aye yo, I think I'm in love!" Sokka cheered as he took Aang's seat beside Zuko.

"Fam, weren't you the one who told us that if we came here looking for a girlfriend or something like that, then we needed to get our priorities straight?" Zuko smirked at Sokka as he grumbled a 'shut up' while Aang nervously walked downstairs, preparing himself for what could be an awkward meeting considering the fact that Suki and Sokka had hit it off pretty well already.

"Hi, I'm Aang," Aang waved somewhat timidly, his crooked, goofy smile still shining through which made Suki smile back unknowingly.

Suki stood up from her seat and shook his hand as she took in his figure like she had done Sokka beforehand.

Compared to Sokka, Aang seemed far leaner and lithe whereas Sokka was more muscular and broad-shouldered. As her eyes quickly took him in, she noticed that he had worn an orange beanie over his shaggy dark-brown hair, which further highlighted the intricacies of his light blue tattoos. He also wore an orange sky bison hoodie, light blue ripped jeans and white Nike air forces along with a beaded Air Nomad necklace.

"Hi Aang, I'm Suki. It's nice to meet you."

'Just look at that name, and that smile bruv – perfection,' Sokka stated, awestruck while Zuko just shook his head – baffled by how whipped he already was.

"Likewise," Aang cheered as he pulled her chair out for her.

"Oh," Suki, surprised that he was an actual gentleman, beamed at him, grinning as she took her seat while Sokka tried not to bite his nails off on nervousness. "Such a gentleman, thank you."

"Me pleasure," Aang smiled back as he tucked her in and took his seat across from her.

'This guy's going full try-hard; helping her sit down and all that, who does he think he is fam?' Sokka groaned out while Zuko rolled his eyes.

'What'd you mean? He's always been like this," Sokka ignored his friend's comment as he watched on uncomfortably.

"Sorry, but… are you an Air Nomad?" Aang nodded, "That's so cool. I haven't seen many Nomads in Republic City. And they're usually bold."

"Do you not like it?" Aang asked cheekily as he removed his beanie and ruffled up his hair.

"No, I think it suits you," she stated as she leaned forward and ruffled his shaggy brown hair as well, grinning while amazed by how soft it was.

During this exchange, Aang glanced at the camera and winked at it, knowing Sokka would be watching.

'Aye no, Aang. Nah!' Sokka protested while Zuko smirked, knowing that Aang likely didn't mean anything by it and was only doing it to rile Sokka up. 'Don't get comfy with my one, please brother. You should know by how I was moving; that's all me." Sokka begged Aang as he stared at the screen, recognising that Aang couldn't hear his cries and pleads or see him but not caring either way.

"But yeah, I'm an Air Nomad, how could you tell?"

"Your tats gave you away," she grinned, "their pretty sick you know…" Suki trailed off as she slurped her smoothie, realising that Aang seemed to be messing around with the camera more so than with her – she didn't really mind; even though she did find Aang really cute, she was more into Sokka.

Once again, Aang turned to the camera and smiled teasingly, "You hear that Sokka?"

'Bro!' Sokka yelled in protest while Zuko laughed at him.

"She said my tattoos are sick," Aang stated, talking to the camera teasingly before he turned his attention back to Suki. "You know… where you from love? You look different…"

Zuko waited patiently for Sokka to react as he attempted to stifle his laugh.

'WHAT DID HE JUST CALL HER?!'

"I'm from an Island called Kyoshi, but I've lived in India for most of my life."

"India, yeah?" Aang grinned as he finally had something he could work with, "So, do you like Bollywood?"

Suki nodded eagerly and Aang stated, "Me too."

"What's your favourite film?" Suki challenged, wanting to uncover whether he was waffling or telling the truth.

"Veer-Zaara," Aang answered confidently, smiling at the camera when Suki grinned at him.

'What?! HE KNOWS BOLLYWOOD?!' Sokka yelled, acting as if his dreams had been shattered

Beaming, Suki grinned wildly as she clasped her hands and leaned forward, "Yes! That's my favourite too!"

"Who's your favourite actor?"

Still grinning, Suki glanced up in thought while tapping her chin. When she didn't seem to have an answer, Aang offered her a suggestion, "Is it Shah Rukh Khan?"

Beaming again, Suki nodded, "Yeah! But I also have a thing for… oh, fuck, what's his name…"

"Hrithik Roshan?" Aang asked, knowing full well that he was the one actor all girls gushed over.

"Yeah! That's him!"

'Oh fuck! He's won her because he's knows Bollywood!' Sokka shouted, nudging Zuko in the shoulder who continued laughing at how clueless and desperate his friend was. 'He's gonna steal my bird bro.'

'Fam,' Zuko laughed out loud as he struggled to continue with his train of thought, 'have you claimed her already?'

'Too early?' Sokka asked, blushing in embarrassment as Zuko continued laughing at him.

'Man's known her for five minutes and is already in love,' Zuko snorted out while Sokka turned his attention back towards the screen in front of him, trying to determine how his best friend could betray him like that.

"So, what's your favourite song from…"

"From Veer-Zaara?"

"Yeah," Aang smiled as his order for a vanilla and caramel milkshake arrived. "Just tell me what your favourite song is; I'm happy to sing it for you."

"You can sing?" She asked, mildly impressed.

'Nah, bro. He's charming her. That's my girl! And he's charming her!' Sokka exclaimed, unaware of the fact that Aang was simply messing with him.

"Yeah, so what's your favourite?"

"Like, I – damn, I forgot the name but – just sing any song from that – "

Unfortunately for them, before Aang could begin singing, the alarm went off again and Aang had to leave to allow Zuko his turn.

"Aww, I was really looking forward to hearing you sing Bollywood," Suki pouted as Aang stood up, milkshake in hand, and sadly smiled at her.

"Maybe when Sokka brings you home I can sing for you," Aang suggested as Suki blushed beet red while he made his way upstairs.

"You traitor!" Sokka yelled at the Air Nomad who took Zuko's now empty seat beside him.

"Good luck, Hotman. You're gonna need it," Aang cheered, ignoring the ranting Sokka beside him as he continued to sip on his milkshake.

Suki waited patiently for the next person, and she was slightly taken back when said person sat across from her and began sipping on the bottle of coca cola he had brought without greeting her.

"Umm hi?" Suki greeted awkwardly as she took in the sight before her.

The man before her wore a black NWA hoodie, with his hood on, red aviator glasses that covered up his eyes, maroon chinos and black Air Jordans.

"Oh hi, I'm Zuko – nice to meet you," Zuko didn't offer his hand for her to shake – his awkwardness shining through.

"Nice to meet you too," Suki said somewhat hesitantly. "So, wait, why are you wearing sunglasses indoors?" She asked curiously.

Zuko sighed, smirking to himself before answering. "This is my level", he waved his hand over his face.

"So, you're not sensitive to light or something like that?"

"No, no, no…"

'Man said this is my level,' Sokka exclaimed, baffled. 'He's acting like she's not good enough for him.'

'He's being cocky again,' Aang stated as they continued to observe the slightly awkward pair.

"You know what they say about those people?" Suki stated firmly yet jokingly as Zuko leaned forward in interest, "The ones that wear sunglasses indoors?"

'What? What'd they say?' Aang leaned forward, wondering if Suki was about to insult Zuko.

'Tell us babes!' Sokka shouted excitedly.

"What do people say?" Zuko sighed, knowing he was going to regret asking her but did it regardless.

Grinning at herself, Suki glanced away and laughed as she answered, "That they're dickheads."

'Oh my god,' Aang exclaimed while Sokka cheered and beamed.

'Yeah! You go girl!'

"Dickhead?" Zuko asked, baffled and somewhat amused. "I'm not a dickhead."

Aang and Sokka both shared a knowingly look as they shook their heads and raised their eyebrows.

"I'm sure you're not," Suki reassured, though somewhat sarcastically.

'He kind of is,' Aang and Sokka both said at the same time.

"Well, maybe I can be a bit of a dickhead."

'Yeah, but more than a little bit,' Sokka stated while he looked at the camera.

"Sometimes, maybe," Zuko added.

'Majority of the time,' Sokka joked towards the camera again before turning his attention back onto the screen.

"But I feel like girls do like that," Zuko elaborated as he took another sip of his Coca-Cola, "like, if I was just… nice all the time, I feel like you wouldn't get anywhere."

"Aang's nice," Suki fired back.

'Don't get excited bruv,' Sokka warned the Air Nomad.

"He's always nice," Zuko shrugged, "somehow, it just works for him."

"Sokka was nice," Suki offered.

"Sokka was just thirsty for you," Zuko laughed as Suki and Sokka blushed in unison, unknowingly. "You can't deny it; girls do like a bit of a chase, you wouldn't have that if I was super nice."

"I think everyone likes a bit of a chase," Suki offered as she finished off her smoothie – now not finding the man before her as awkward as when they first began talking.

"Yeah, everyone likes a bit of a challenge," Suki nodded in agreement as she set her smoothie down.

"Mhmm."

"That's why I put the glasses on," Zuko stated as Suki looked at him knowingly; recognising that he was waffling but going along with it anyways. "So I –"

"So people can chase to see your eyes?"

"Yeah, yeah," Zuko chuckled.

She chuckled good-naturedly, "Man, you're smart," Suki stated sarcastically as she laughed.

"Yeah, you know how it is. Yo, do you have an Instagram?" Zuko suddenly asked, knowing that if he played this right it would certainly not please Sokka at all.

Suki nodded.

"What's your Instagram?"

'Aye, yo… what the fuck is he doing?' Sokka asked a gaping Aang.

"It's Suks_warrior," she stated.

'I thought we had to wait – but he's asking for her insta…" Sokka trailed off as he witnessed Zuko hand over his phone to Suki who began typing in her username nonchalantly.

'What's going on fam?' Sokka asked Aang as he turned to him, half baffled and half serious as he really wanted Suki's Instagram.

Aang just gaped at him – at a loss for words since he never though Zuko would take it a step further all because Aang himself hadn't.

'No one told me that you could ask her for stuff like that, if –' Sokka cut himself off when Aang pointed towards the screen, where he saw a smiling Zuko tilting his glasses down to reveal him wiggling his eyebrows towards the camera, thus also towards Sokka and Aang.

'I'm gonna kill him,' Sokka threatened as he tried to rush downstairs but was held back by Aang.

'Bro, relax. Relax. We were both joking.' When Sokka seemed to not have heard a word he said, Aang sighed and brought the Southern Warrior back towards the seat as he noticed Zuko making his way back upstairs.

'We know you like her Sokka, so we were just trying to rile you up. Relax, she likes you too,' Zuko stated as he threw his bottle of Coca-Cola in the bin and sat down on the empty spare chair to Aang's right.

'I'll get you back Zuko,' Sokka threatened… 'And you too Airhead.'

'Good luck finding a girl I like enough to get back at me with,' Zuko groaned as he sighed and leaned back on the chair. 'I swear I'm never doing a video with the two of you again,' he declared half-heartedly; although he did think it was stupid, he couldn't lie and say that he wasn't at least enjoying himself – watching Sokka squirm was satisfying. 'So, who's the next girl we're supposed to be meeting up with?'

Aang shrugged his shoulders as he opened his phone and sussed out the details, 'I don't know her, but her name is Jin.'
