A/N: I hereby present to all my own version of Power Rangers: Megaforce, how I would've written it. Like I mentioned in "Better Together", it will be dubbed "Starforce", and the Gokaiger elements will be written out (at least until the second half of the second season, but the current Rangers will not be getting the Gokaiger powers – another team will). I love Megaforce, but its main flaw was that it tried to fit two Sentai seasons into one team, so they missed a lot of important stuff (like some proper Gia focus, which I will never forgive them for). So, let's all take a deep breath and dive into only Goseiger (because I have other plans for Gokaiger).

I hope you enjoy!

Disclaimer: I do not own Power Rangers Megaforce/Starforce or Tensou Sentai Goseiger in any way. I just own most of the plot and the characters and things you don't recognize from the original version.

Also, I've changed the name Loogies to Spirits.

PS: Thank mpsullivan for convincing me to write my own adaptations for every Sentai season after Shinkenger.

The Land Beyond

September 7, 2015

The Boss sat in their signature chair around the old wooden table (an ancient traditional table) as they listened to their seven Generals at their latest meeting about the centuries-long war with their arch-nemesis, The Land Below.

"The Land Below's forces are a day away from penetrating the border of The Land Between," Solis said. "We can't hold them off anymore."

"But we must keep fighting," Lunae urged her fellow Generals. "The Land Between depends on us."

"But are we sure The Land Between is still worth protecting?" Mardi's question perked up The Boss's ears, but they let the Generals debate it.

"What makes you say that?" Mercredi asked.

"I second Mercredi's inquiry," Jovis said. "We have vowed to protect the Land Between ever since this war first began?"

"Mardi and I were thinking," Veneris politely cut in, "about how far the humans have fallen. Their morals have been completely twisted around. They don't care about the environment, and they seem so much more focused on fighting each other than anything else. They may not be worth protecting anymore."

Samedi argued, however, "Whether they are worth protecting or not, they stand no chance against the forces of the Land Below. They have no way of defending themselves."

Solis turned to The Boss and asked, "What do you think, Boss?"

The Boss turned to their General-in-training (what humans would call an intern) and said, "You have something to add, Gosei?"

Gosei bowed in respect, "Yes. Thank you for letting me speak, but...the humans are worth protecting, and I'd like to prove it. I'd like to volunteer myself to prove that when pushed to the bottom of the pit, humans can change and grow into who the good versions of themselves are."

The seven Generals turned to The Boss, awaiting their answer.

"I agree with Gosei," came The Boss' surprising answer. Before any of the Generals could protest, they continued, "And I know what you have in mind. Which of you Generals would be willing to lend your Power to a human?"

Solis, Lunae, Mercredi, Jovis, and Samedi (all Generals that questioned Mardi and Veneris's thoughts against humanity) stood up.

"Very well," The Boss said. "Gosei, go. Keep me informed. The rest of you, just focus on the war for now."

"Right!"

Gosei and his assistant, Tensou, succeeded in transferring their forms to corporeal bodies into the dark cave The Land Beyond had claimed as their Land Between base.

The cave was black until a console lit up a dark violet color – Jovis' color. The next console that lit up was yellow – Lunae's color, then pink – Samedi's color, then blue – Mercredi's color, and finally red – Solis' color.

"Everything is ready, Tensou," Gosei said.

A small robot woke up, and tiredly asked, "How long have we been snoozing?"

"About twelve hours," Gosei said. "The transfer to The Land Between was successful. We must move fast. The Land Below's forces are already penetrating The Land Between's barriers."

"How come we have samples of five of the Generals' powers?" Tensou asked, noting the colored consoles.

"We must assemble a new team of heroes, five humans to inherit these powers," Gosei explained. "We need the perfect examples of humans at their lowest, the most energetic and unstoppable group, that exemplifies enduring human spirit."

"'Energetic and unstoppable'?" Tensou repeated. "Wait, you don't mean...teenagers, do you?"

"Yes, teenagers," Gosei said. "Find five teenagers with talent and attitude and start observing them. Look for them at their lowest."

Tensou sighed before signaling the consoles to search for a certain teen to observe.

No turning back now.

September 8, 2015

Emma Goodall didn't feel one-hundred percent as she walked to school that morning. She felt a little sick, but she still felt well enough to actually go to school.

Besides, this was the first day of her Senior year. She couldn't be late.

But she felt better as she took pictures of random bits of nature with her camera as she walked on.

Seeing Jake Holling in his car in the parking lot, scrolling through his phone, reminding her of how lonely she felt lately. The re-marriage of her dad meant a step-brother to bond with, but Jake, her new-stepbrother, showed no interest in wanting to get to know her.

Jake used to be very popular due to how nice and social he was (the thing that gave her hope they would be friends), but the recent death of his own father caused a complete reversal in his personality. Now he was less occupied with others and more concerned with himself.

Emma entered the building, feeling incredibly sad. She had hoped she and Jake would be friends, having gone through the same pain of prematurely losing a parent and their remaining parents marrying each other.

Apparently not.

Emma went to her locker (the same one she had last year) and entered her combination. She rummaged through it, putting in notebooks and school books.

A couple of books fell out and Emma didn't have the reflexes fast enough to catch them before they hit the ground.

But they never hit the ground. Emma looked up to see Gia Moran, the school's Miss Perfect, holding her books in her hand, but not meeting Emma's eyes.

"Thank you," Emma gently smiled, taking her books from Gia's hand.

Gia did not meet her eyes, or smile. She never did.

"Don't mention it," was all Gia said, before the elder girl closed her locker and walked off to her first classroom of the day.

Gia was perfect at everything she did, and Emma strived to be more like Gia.

Except Gia didn't have many friends. That was something that Emma did not envy.

Gia liked being alone, but Emma loved being a social butterfly.

When she entered the classroom, she felt a little better upon seeing Noah Carver, a familiar face from last year.

They weren't friends, but they did share some common interests.

They both were nature-lovers, straight A students, and pacifists. The only issue she had with Noah was that he didn't trust jocks like her new step-brother Jake.

And now Emma didn't feel so lonely anymore, as she sat down in her seat.

Mr. Burley, the science teacher, placed his book bag on his desk and addressed the class as they all waited for the starting bell to ring.

"Hello, class. I see most of you have returned from last year," Mr. Burley said. "That's great to see. Now, let's start the year with a science brain teaser. What species will outlast all others on Earth?"

Emma was the first person to raise her hand.

"Emma?"

"Insects," she replied. "They'll survive all the bad stuff we're doing to the environment. Some of them have lots of legs. They'll be the last ones standing."

Noah's hands quickly shot into the air.

Jake, sitting behind Noah, leaned forward in his seat, "Calm down, dude. You're going to hurt yourself."

"Shut up," Noah replied. "She's wrong. Wrong, wrong, wrong."

"Yes, Noah?" Mr. Burley asked. "You have a different answer?"

"Robots," was Noah's answer. "Robots are powered by perpetual motion engines."

"Robots are machines," came Gia's cold reply from the seat on Emma's right. "So technically, they're not a species."

Jake turned to Noah and teasingly asked, "Is she wrong too?"

"Of course," Noah grunted.

That's when a new kid entered the classroom, a brunette-haired boy with a red shirt and a black leather jacket (much like Gia's).

"Ah, you must be Troy Burrows," Mr. Burley said, looking at his roll-sheet. The boy nodded, confirming that his name was indeed Troy Burrows. "Nice of you to join us this year. How about you? Which species will outlast all others on Earth?"

"Us, humans," came Troy's answer, surprising just about everybody.

"How's that?" Mr. Burley asked.

"If we work together, we can overcome anything," Troy explained as he took the only empty seat in the second row.

"A rather interesting answer," Mr. Burley said. "I certainly hope that you are right, Troy."

The Land Below

Admiral Malkor was in the Warstar base as he contacted his General, Creepox.

"Crepox, what do you make of The Land Between?" Malkor asked him.

"Humans can't match our strength," Creepox said. "We'll swarm them and destroy them all!"

General Vrak entered the room with some news, "I have analyzed The Land Between. The Land itself is priceless, but the humans most likely won't pose a problem."

"Humans are used to the small, harmless insects on their planet," Malkor said. "Wait until Scaraba and the Spirits finally break the barrier. We are the future. We will squash these humans and take The Land Between for ourselves!"

Malkor laughed as his plans continued moving forward.

It was after school now, and Emma and Noah had just been voted as the President and Vice-President, respectively, of the school's Nature Club. Now, the two were discussing ideas they had and how they would run the Club for the year.

"How about a field trip to the beach one day?" Noah suggested. "Or the Board Walk?"

"Of course," Emma agreed. "To see how humans and nature co-exists. In that case, we should go to other biomes too."

"Like the desert?" Noah asked.

"Yeah, and the forest and the tundra, if we can," Emma said.

Noah looked up, and Emma followed his gaze, only to see Troy standing in the open doorway, looking lost.

"Hey, you need help with something?" Emma asked.

"Y-Yeah," Troy said. "I'm looking for the Martial Arts Club."

"Oh, they don't meet at the school," Noah explained. "They meet at the mall across the street."

"Oh, okay," Troy understood. "That makes a lot more sense. Thank you, both of you!"

"You're welcome," Emma said, before going back to her camera to look at the photos of the rare monarch butterfly she saw that morning.

She stopped, though. There was one photo that didn't sit well with her.

Noah noticed her apprehension. "What's wrong?" he asked.

Emma showed him the photo she was looking at.

And judging by his reaction, it was safe to say that he, too, noticed the strange black mist in the background that looked like a scary, black cloaked figure.

"What is that?" Noah asked. "And why do I feel sick just looking at it?"

Emma felt better knowing that she wasn't the only one.

Four-Leaf Clover Mall, Harwood Country, Oregon

The Masamoto Dojo had been reserved for the quite small Martial Arts Club from the high school across the street.

Troy Burrows entered the dojo, and the Sensei, named Kenji, turned to him and bowed to him. Troy bowed back, a show of respect.

"Hello, Mr. Burrows," Kenji said. "Welcome to the Martial Arts Club, full of students who either want to know how to defend themselves or need an outlet for their stress, or both. Let's see you spar with our star student, Gia Moran."

Gia was in all of the same classes as him. She hadn't talked much to anybody, and she had even solved a complicated problem in their algebra class (which was impressive).

Troy and Gia bowed to each other, both with their shoes and jackets off.

Their spar was like a dance, one perfectly in sync with the other. Gia attacked and Troy blocked. Troy parried and Gia blocked.

After a couple of intense minutes of this, Gia suddenly launched at him, aiming a roundhouse kick at his head at high speed, which Troy could only block with a roundhouse kick of his own.

"And stop!" Sensei Kenji announced.

The two stopped, both fists literally an inch away from the other's face.

This guy was good, Gia thought. He was definitely more interesting than she first thought.

"Good job, both of you," Sensei Kenji praised them. "You two are evenly matched. Now introduce yourselves to each other. Casey Watson, Paige Brooks, you two are next."

The two mentioned students took Troy and Gia's spots on the center mat as Troy and Gia sat down next to the wall.

"Gia Moran, huh?" Troy asked. "I'm Troy Burrows. It's nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you, too," Gia greeted him. "You almost had me for a moment."

"So did you," Troy said. "I assume you attacked with that kick because I almost got you."

Gia nodded. "Blocking my kick with the same kick is pretty clever."

"I had to," Troy revealed. "If I had blocked you with a standard block, you would've won."

Gia sent him a smile and held out her hand for him to shake. He took it, firmly shaking her hand. "I look forward to sparring with you in the future."

"Same here."

Across the walkway, in Ernie's Brain Freeze, Jake watched the two talk from a distance. He couldn't tell what they were talking about, but they appeared to be acting like best friends already.

He hated Gia. She was his rival. She excelled in everything while he failed at everything.

Why did he find it so hard to make friends? Gia just made one in the new guy.

"I'm sorry, Ernie," came the voice of one of Jake's classmates. "I don't have ten more cents. Can I give you an IOU?"

Ernie sadly shook his head. "Sorry, no. I've had problems with IOU's not getting settled in the past."

The kid hung his head.

At least, until Jake stepped in with his wallet, pulling out a dime. "Here, on me," Jake told them both.

"Thank you!" the kid said.

"No problem," Jake said. "Hey, Ernie, are you in any way related to the Ernie in Angel Grove?"

"Nope," Ernie shrugged. "Must be a coincidence."

Jake lightly smiled before turning away, but before he could sit in his seat, he vanished in a black swirl.

Star Cave, Harwood County, Oregon

Jake wasn't the only one who landed on the floor of a dark room. He noticed that Troy, Gia, Emma, and Noah were also with him.

"What just happened?" he asked as the five stood up.

"I'm not sure," Noah cautiously replied.

"How did we get here?" Troy asked.

"Where is here?" Gia brought up a good point. Emma just shrugged, looking a bit lost.

Suddenly, a little robot rolled past them, exclaiming, "It worked! It worked!"

"What worked?" Troy asked the robot, as he grabbed a hold of the robot's back.

"Wow!" Noah was close to geeking out. "An old school robot! Like in the old movies!"

"Hey! I am not a robot!" the robot exclaimed, shocking Noah's hand, before rolling away from them.

Suddenly, the sides of the walls lit up, highlighting many small figures on small pedestals. Pretty soon, the ceiling lights came on as well.

"Seriously, what's happening?" Jake asked, as he noticed a giant face on the wall. "That is one freaky tiki."

Cautiously, the five teens walked forward.

Troy took a close look at the small figures lining the walls. "These...are the past Power Rangers."

"Woah, he's right!" Noah exclaimed.

"Welcome to the sacred Star Cave," came a voice no one was expecting. Was the giant face on the wall talking to them? It kinda freaked them out. "I apologize for my appearance. This is the only way my assistant here and I can talk to humans like you all."

"Okay..." Gia carefully stepped in front of the others, unsure of whether or not this was a prank.

"I am Gosei," the giant face on the wall said. "My assistant's name is Tensou."

"Hi!" The robot said.

"You're lives are about to change forever," Gosei said. "I come from The Land Beyond, the guardians of The Land Between, or what you humans would call Earth, or home. For centuries, The Land Beyond has been at war with The Land Below, whose forces are just now penetrating The Land Between's barriers."

"How can we trust you?" Jake asked, a question Gia appreciated (even if she didn't like Jake at all). "Do you have proof that what you're saying is true?"

"Well, have any of you felt ill recently?"

"Yes," Noah said. "Earlier, during Nature Club when Emma and I were looking at this one photo that looked like it was being haunted. Emma, show them your camera."

Emma pulled out her camera and showed the others the same photo she showed to Noah.

"What is that?" Jake asked, the other three feeling very uncomfortable with the shadowy figure in the background.

"That is a Spirit, a foot soldier," Gosei explained. "Their mere presence is enough to make a regular human ill. I am a General-in-training, and I have been this ever since the death of my friend and mentor Zordon twenty years ago. Like I explained before, this is a precarious time for mankind. I understand your skepticism, which is healthy, but this is unfortunately all too real. The Land Between needs you."

The five still looked skeptical, which he understood.

"You five have been carefully selected by the The Boss, our great leader that rules over The Land Beyond," Gosei explained, "to form a strike team, in the long tradition of the Power Rangers, to protect The Land Between directly." After a short silence, he said, "Tensou, show them."

Tensou activated the screens.

Emma looked at the console closest to her as it lit up pink. It showed her images of her riding her bike through the woods, "Emma Goodall, you are not only a great BMX cyclist, but you also truly care about the environment. You go to great lengths to take care of it. You shall soar up from the flames of the phoenix and be the Pink Ranger. I grant you the Powers of General Samedi."

"Pink is my favorite color," Emma commented, "but what's this Ranger deal?"

Gosei continued, as another console lit up blue and showed images of Noah, "Noah Carver, your thirst for knowledge is unequaled. Our future depends on the works of great scientists' minds like yours. As the Blue Ranger, your attacks will bite with the force of a shark. I grant you the Powers of General Mercredi."

The next screen, from the violet console, showed Jake playing soccer. "Jake Holling, there is nobody with the boundless athleticism and enthusiasm to match you. I'm making you the Black Ranger. You will fight with the stealth of a snake. I grant you the Powers of General Jovis." Jake, pleased, twirled his soccer ball in his hands.

The next screen lit up yellow, showing images of Gia, "Gia Moran, your kindness comes from pain. You are calm under pressure and pursue excellence with the ferocity of a tiger. You will be the Yellow Ranger. I grant you the Powers of General Lunae."

The fifth screen turned red and showed images of Troy. "And Troy Burrows, your purity of spirit and strength are the result of incredible discipline. Since you have met adversity in your life with great fury like a dragon, you shall be the Red Ranger. I grant you the Powers of General Solis."

"There must be a mistake here," Troy replied. "I'm new in town."

"There is no mistake," Gosei told them, calmly. "You've all been chosen because of your skills and characters."

Noah points to the figures lining the walls, "Are they really...?"

"All the Rangers who came before you," Gosei answered. "Now, you shall form a new team. Each of you will be given access to extraordinary powers that will help you protect The Land Between."

Items that looked very similar to Gosei's tiki head appeared in front of the five. They each took the one in front of them.

"These are your morphers," Gosei explained. "With them, you will morph into the Starforce Rangers. You will wield Power Cards that will unlock special weapons and abilities, and you shall command mighty machines called Megazords."

Noah was a bit overwhelmed, "Wait, hold on. Morphers, Power Cards, Megazords? All this tech...how do we use it?"

"All will be revealed in time," Gosei answered.

"If the Earth is under attack and you think we are the only ones who can protect it...we're in," Troy said.

"Very well," Gosei said. "Starforce, your mission starts now."

Tensou worried about the new Rangers as Gosei teleported them out of the base. "Are you sure they'll be okay?"

"They'll be fine," Gosei reassured him. "You have selected well."

City Square, Harwood County, Oregon

The five all landed in a heap in the city, slightly disoriented.

"Is everyone okay?" Troy asked, as they all slowly stood back up.

They stopped when they heard screaming.

"Spirits!" Emma called out, pointing to a group of green humanoids attacking some people. "Those people are defenseless! We have to help!"

Noah pushed his glasses up his nose, "Fascinating."

"Forget that," Troy warned. "Emma's right. These guys are bad news."

"Hey!" Jake shouted out to the Spirits, catching their attention. "What do you think you're doing?!"

"I'm guessing these guys don't come in peace," Noah commented as the Spirits charged towards the teens that interrupted their rampage.

The five teens rushed in to fight the Spirits.

During the fight, Noah got distracted by a fallen Spirit. He bent down to take a closer look, when suddenly another Spirit approached him from behind. Noah managed to quickly fight off the Spirit.

While fighting another group of Spirits, Emma came up with the idea to use her camera as a weapon and it worked great against the Spirits.

Jake kicked his soccer ball to knock a Spirit off the hood of a car. The soccer ball bounced right back into his hands.

Gia was having no issues fighting the Spirits, and Troy was the same way, once using a car door against them.

Despite their best efforts, Emma, Jake, and Noah were soon surrounded by Spirits.

Troy noticed the Spirits holding up their weapons, ready to fire. He scrambled across the cards to get away from the line of fire, grabbing Gia out of harm's way as he ran along.

Meanwhile, the other three went flying and hit the pavement from the blast and were soon followed by Gia and Troy.

The five slowly got back to their feet.

"They're closing in on us," Gia noted.

"Gosei said the Morphers would give us power," Troy said. "Let's use 'em. It's Morphin' Time!" he called out as the five pulled out their Morphers and respective Power Cards.

They inserted the Power Cards into the Morphers and activated the said Cards. "Starforce, Shine Down!"

In a bright multi-colored light, the teens were no longer in their civilian clothes, but in multi-colored spandex and helmets with motifs of the animals Gosei had named for each of them.

"Fury of the Dragon, Starforce Red!" Troy called.

"Flames of the Phoenix, Starforce Pink!" Emma called.

"Venom of the Snake, Starforce Black!" Jake called.

"Claw of the Tiger, Starforce Yellow!" Gia called.

"Bite of the Shark, Starforce Blue!" Noah called.

"Let's go!" Troy ordered, and his team charged in.

Gia was excited, "Time for our new weapons." She pulled out a Power Card and inserted it into her morpher. "Shine Down!" she activated the Card.

"Summon Battle Gear!" came Gosei's voice.

"Tiger Claw!" Gia announced the name of her weapon before charging in.

Jake pulled out a Power Card much like the one Gia used. "Shine Down!"

"Summon Battle Gear!"

"Snake Axe!" Jake then rushed into the fray, both he and Gia leaping into the air and striking the Spirits with their respective weapons.

Noah was fighting a group of Spirits when he decided to summon his weapon too. "Shine Down!"

"Summon Battle Gear!"

"Shark Bowgun!"

Meanwhile, Emma was fighting her own group of Spirits when she inserted a similar Power Card. "Shine Down!"

"Summon Battle Gear!"

"Phoenix Shot!"

Troy was battling yet another group of Spirits and knocked them into another group. "Shine Down!"

"Summon Battle Gear!"

"Dragon Sword!"

The Rangers continued to battle the Spirits, this time with their weapons.

Jake and Gia struck the pavement with their weapons, "Land Strike!" This attack caused the pavement to crack open and several Spirits to fall inside.

The two continued fighting, until the rest of the Spirits around them fell to blue-colored energy arrows.

They watch as Noah leapt down from the top of the nearby building and fired his Shark Bowgun as he fell from the building, before landing safely onto the pavement and continued to fight Spirits.

Meanwhile, several Spirits lined up to fire their weapons at them, when Emma flew through the air and fired her Phoenix Shot at the Spirits.

She landed on the ground next to her three teammates. "Did you guys see that? I can't believe I can fly!"

The rest of the Spirits took this chance to surround them, until Troy arrive in a red-colored energy tornado, letting him join the rest of the Rangers.

"Nice one," Gia commented.

"Thanks," Troy said. "These powers are amazing."

Meanwhile, the Warstar Faction watched as the new Starforce Rangers charged towards the Spirits, irritated.

~S~A~N~C~T~U~A~R~Y~~~P~O~W~E~R~~R~A~N~G~E~R~S~~S~T~A~R~F~O~R~C~E~~~M~E~G~A~F~O~R~C~E~~R~E~D~O~

The Rangers arrived on the scene as a monster rolled into the city on top of a huge boulder, citizens running away in terror.

"Leave these people alone!" Jake called out.

"You can scare them," Troy added, "but we're not afraid."

"So much for rock and roll," the monster, Scaraba, stated, before summoning another batch of Spirit and commanded them to attack.

"We'll protect the Earth," Troy vowed, "no matter what it takes."

"Earth's Defenders, Never Surrender! Power Rangers: Starforce!"

Scaraba growled, "You really want to fight, then fine. Spirits, attack!"

Just then, Troy's Morpher went off. It was Gosei, warning them, "This monster is not a foot soldier. It's Scaraba, one of their Field Commanders. It's time to use your Star Blasters."

"You can count on us, Gosei," Troy told him, before the five pulled out their Morphers and inserted another set of Power Cards.

"Summon Star Headers!" The Rangers placed the Headers on their Blasters (which were attached to their belts).

Noah fired his Star Blaster at several Spirits, "Shark Star: Full Blast!"

Jake fired his Star Blaster at a group of Spirits he was fighting, "Snake Star: Full Blast!"

Gia was using some fancy parkour moves to fight her group, "Tiger Star: Full Blast!"

Emma leapt off a building as she battled her group, flying through the air as she fired her Blaster, "Phoenix Star: Full Blast!"

Troy leapt off the top of another building. He landed safelty on the ground as he fired his Blaster at several Spirits charging at him, "Dragon Star: Full Blast!"

After defeating all the Spirits, the Rangers gathered together.

"I'm going to crush you like bugs!" Scaraba threatened as he rolled his big boulder towards them.

"Take out that boulder!" Troy ordered, and five Rangers fired their Star Blasters together, destroying the boulder and knocking the monster to the ground.

Scaraba got back to his feet, getting very angry. In the middle of his stomach was a grinder, and he ground up several rocks and shoots them out at the Rangers, who simply blasted the rocks away with their Blasters. This angered him even more.

"Let's call on our other weapons," Troy said, leading the team as they summoned their Battle Fear.

"I have fancy attacks, too!" Scaraba gloated. In his hands appeared glowing rocks, which he threw at the Rangers.

Out of the smoke flew Troy and Emma. "Sky Strike!" The two used their weapons to hit him together.

"That's how you do it!" Gia cheered before charging in with her weapon, Jake quickly following her.

The monster shot lasers out of his eyes, but Gia was easily able to block it with her Tiger Claw, giving Jake enough cover to strike Scaraba with his Snake Axe several times. Gia quickly followed through with her Tiger Claw.

Noah then charged in with his Shark Bowgun, leaping and firing his weapon as he went by.

The five gathered together once more.

"Time to show our true power!" Troy said.

"Weapons Combine!" The five Rangers proceeded to combine their respective weapons into a giant crossbow-like weapon. "Starforce Blaster!"

They all placed their respective Power Cards into the Blaster.

"Sky Power!" Troy and Emma called.

"Land Power!" Gia and Jake called.

"Sea Power!" Noah called.

With this, the Blaster charged up, before they fired it together. "Dynamic Victory Charge!"

And Scaraba saw no more.

Gosei and Tensou waited for the five Rangers to enter the Star Cave after their victory, all of them in high spirits.

"Job well done, Rangers," Gosei congratulated.

"We just got lucky," Noah shot back.

"Luck had nothing to do with it," Gosei defended. "You all rose to the occasion and unlocked your powers. Do not doubt yourselves. You were chosen and for a good reason. This morning, you were regular kids leading normal lives, but now you must master your new powers and protect your homeland from the forces that seek to destroy it."

"This has to be the craziest first day of school ever," Troy commented, before looking at his team. "But I think we're prepared to do our part."

"I'm not so sure," Emma commented, the other four looking at her, confused. "The helmet does mess up my hair." Her four teammates continued to stare at her, before she laughed, saying, "I'm just kidding, guys. I think this could be super fun."

"Come on," Jake said. "Let's celebrate with some froyo at Ernie's."

"Alright," Gia said, as the five left the Cave. "As long as you pay, Holling."

Jake groaned before leaving Gosei and Tensou alone in the Star Cave.

"How do you think they did?" Tensou asked.

Original Goseiger Episode: Epic 1

Original PRM Episode: Mega Mission

Note: The original "Mega Mission" was a tribute to the first MMPR episode, so I tried to keep true to that. Also, I have the terms ambiguous, so whatever religion you follow (or even none at all), hopefully no one will get offended. All you need to know is that The Land Beyond is the good guys, The Land Below is the bad guys, and Earth functions as The Land Between, as well as the fact that The Boss (gender neutral) is the one in charge, they have seven Generals at their command (all named after days of the week), and Gosei is one of these in training – basically an intern.

But I will tell you all right now – this story is not about religion (that's not my intention, anyways). It's about five teenagers dealing with their own problems but learning to come together by relying on each other (all while bringing out the best in humanity), hence the title "Sanctuary": their safe place is each other.

A/N: Review, please. Tell me what you think. If you guys have any ideas you want me to consider adding, or any questions about the story, please PM me. A preview for the next chapter:

Season 1, Episode 2: "How to Build a Team"

"Because it was never that easy. The Rangers must learn to put personal feelings aside for the sake of their mission."
