A/N:

Ashley Barbosa: I'm glad that you're enjoying them so far and yes, as you can tell, I'm trying to make up for all the angst and heartbreak I caused with Teach Me How To Live, Kataang Smut Stories and these fluffy comedic short stories. Hopefully, its enough.

Bay45220: I'm happy you're enjoying it so far. I'm sad to say this will be the third last chapter as we only have two more left, but I hope you enjoy them nonetheless.

TheQuietReader23: Sokka just fcked up and Zuko's our adorable awkward turtle duck :) He gets some here though. Yep, I always thought Aang would be able to charm any girl he wasn't interested in - heck, he charmed an entire Fire Nation school and they didn't even know he was the Avatar! So, I always try to make him smooth in my fics. But when it comes to a certain someone, he stumbles and stutter like the love sick puppy we know him to be :)

kataang6is9good: Well, there's five parts and I hope they live up to your expectations :) And yes, I like writing Aang as the smooth talking charmer he is (only when he's not around Katara tho, cause when she's there, he's a stuttering mess)

goldenhoursun: Chapter (12) - I'm glad you like it. I've made a book specifically for Kataang smut and lemons so check that out if you want more as I'll be posting all smut on that instead of here; i want to keep this book fluffy and comedic and smut clear as much as i can. And yeah, I try to write Oneshots in a way that make them seem like complete short stories instead of lingering unfinished ones.

goldenhoursun: Chapter 14 - Yep, Aang is always charming in my fics and Jin is just overly generous, its in her character to be, I believe.

Sly8800: I'm pleased to know you're finding it funny and are enjoying it. I hope I don't dissapoint you with these next chapters.

XOXOXOXOXOXOX

Speed Dating (Part 3):

Previously:

'What's the girl's name?' Zuko asked, still intrigued for some unknown reason.

'Who?'

'Your sister's friend, the next one arriving.'

'Oh,' Sokka's eyebrows furrowed as he clicked on her profile and read out her name, from what he could see, she was not his type. 'Uhhhh, her name's Mai.'

Present:

"Nah, you know what it is yeah," Sokka adds as Jet enters the restaurant and makes his way upstairs. "She's hot," Sokka states, pointing towards the girl on his phone, "she's got that like 'dangerous' vibe going for her, but she ain't my type."

"Bruv, you haven't even met her," Zuko challenges as Jet walks up to them and greets them, shaking their hands with a small bro hug before Sokka retorts.

"I can tell just by looking at her you know."

"Is he going on about his instincts again?" Jet asked jokingly as Zuko and Aang snicker.

"Hey, I was right about you, you snake," Sokka challenged.

"Aye, man's turned his life around now. Allow it fam," Aang stood up for his friend while Zuko watched, intrigued by the new dynamic.

"You know what it is right," Jet piped up jokingly as he wanted to tease Sokka further, "I saw your 'cute-little date' with Suki, and let me tell you right now, if I was there… she would've been leaving with me."

Aang and Zuko both had their mouth's agape while Sokka just stared at Jet, doubts of the strong friendship they had formed flashed before his eyes as he contemplated whether Jet would actually betray him or not.

"Aye, chill – I'm joking man," Jet laughed, hugging Sokka from behind who didn't react at all and just continued gaping at Jet, Aang and Zuko.

"Look, you see what you just did there right…" Sokka began semi-sarcastically, "don't ever do that again fam. Don't try to move on my gal like that."

"Man's known her for 5 minutes and has already claimed her," Zuko joked as he turned towards the screen, his eyes widening and mouth dropping as a dark-haired beauty was now approaching the restaurant – he was no longer concentrating on what his mates were arguing about.

As she appeared on the camera, Zuko felt his mouth grow dry; she wore her hair down, long, dark and cascading down her back, she had worn black lipsticks that greatly contrasted with her milky skin – in a seductive and attractive way. She also wore oval shaped, silver earrings, along with a tight black crewneck jumper, a black leather skirt, and black high heels. Plus, her nails were painted red – Zuko was practically drooling.

"How you gonna chat up a girl for 5 minutes and wife her right after?" Jet and Aang laughed as Sokka flushed, clearly not liking their teasing as he had nothing to tease them back with.

"I haven't wife'd her bruv," Sokka tried to deny it, but it was written all over his face – he clearly had.

"Sure you haven't – "

"She's here," Zuko interrupted them, still dazed as he watched the girl known as Mai approach the door. "She's… perfect…" Zuko trailed off, not knowing exactly how to describe a girl's beauty for the first time in his life – not that it was ever a regular thing for him anyways.

Aang recognised the awestruck look in Zuko's eyes, it was similar to the one he had for a few moments during his date with Jin, except now it was much more intense. "Ohhhhhhhh shit!" Aang pipped up, gassed that his friend actually seemed whipped already. "We got us another Meathead here," he teased, hugging Zuko from behind and giving him a noogie, thus roughing up his hair and annoying him to no end.

"Hey, what do you mean another Meathead?!" Sokka asked, baffled while Jet slipped out from behind as his friends continued arguing.

"You lot can have fun," he whispered as he walked down the stairs, "I'mma do my thing, yeh."

Making his way downstairs, Jet took his seat and waited for the girl to step inside. When the bell atop the door rang, signalling that someone had walked in, he couldn't help but smirk as he gave her a 'one-over' – she didn't seem his type, but Sokka was right when he said that she had a 'dangerous' vibe to her; Jet was intrigued.

'Aye, yo – where'd Jet go?' Zuko asked when he noticed his friend was missing.

'He's already chatting her up,' Sokka stated as he pointed towards the screen, raising his eyebrow when he noticed that Zuko seemed somewhat irritated by the fact he couldn't go first. 'I was supposed to go first,' Sokka continued, 'we had an order here bruv.'

'Ah, no harm done yet, Sokka,' Aang defended Jet once again, liking how unpredictable the Earth Kingdom boy could be as he was similar in that regard. 'Let's see where this goes.'

"What's up babes?" Jet asked, smiling at Mai who stopped dead in her tracks, her bored expression seemed even more uninterested now.

Zuko growled lowly, not liking where this was going for some reason – Sokka and Aang smiled at each other as they shared a knowing look.

"Did you just call me 'babes'?" She asked rhetorically, raising her eyebrow, seemingly disgusted. "Don't ever call me that again."

Jet seemed a bit taken back, wincing as he turned to the camera and shrugged while Sokka, Zuko and Aang laughed.

'Aye, you lot – if she keeps this up, I might just end up liking her,' Sokka joked, missing the glare Zuko had sent his way as his eyes were glued to the screen.

"What would you like me to call you then?" Jet asked, attempting to recover.

Mai simply shrugged as she took a sip of her chai tea, "Just call me by my name."

"And what is your name? I'm Jet by the way," he stretched out his hand for her to shake.

She shook his hand hesitantly as she answered dryly, "I'm Mai."

Jet sat there for a while, wondering whether this girl was just bored, actually had a dry personality or just wasn't interested in him already.

'She doesn't seem that into him, you know," Aang observed, reeling back as he cringed at the awkward silence that enveloped them.

'She seems more like my brudda's type,' Sokka stated, nudging Zuko's shoulder who simply shook his head but couldn't shake off the small smile tugging his lips.

"So, uhh, how old are you?" Jet asked, taking a sip of his Monster energy drink while doing so.

Mai replied just as dryly as she did before, "23."

"Oh," he responded, becoming equally as disinterested as he continued, "I'm 23 as well."

She shrugged it off, "Cool," she responded, sounding bored as she sipped her tea.

'This date is dead fam,' Aang stated as he sighed, leaning back on his chair, bored out of his mind just like Sokka while Zuko's eyes were still glued to the screen.

"You know," Jet began, leaning forward and wiggling his eyes as he tried to flirt with someone he probably shouldn't have. "I'm getting like 'bad, dangerous' vibes from you."

"Are you now?" She raised her eyebrow.

"Yeah," he nodded his head while grinning, "And I like it. So, what do you do for fun?" Jet asked, trying to salvage whatever he could of this awkward and monotonous date by getting sexual.

"I like throwing knives at fuckboys like you."

Sokka and Aang sat there wide-eyed, glancing at each other, visibly scared while Zuko's love-struck expression strengthened and grew warmer.

'I think I'm in love," he whispered, smiling a goofy smile that would've made Aang proud had he not been too busy re-establishing the gameplan he had developed for talking to Mai.

"I ain't a fuckboy, babes," Jet smirked, trying not to wince at the jab, "I'm a fuck man."

Mai waved him off as she spoke nonchalantly, "You'll be a dead man if you keep talking like that."

Sokka proudly patted Zuko's back as grimaced, preparing himself for the verbal lashing he was likely to receive from Mai. 'She's all yours bruv,' he stated while shaking his head in denial, 'I don't want none of that.'

"I don't think you understand," Jet once again tried to bounce back, "you've already killed me with your beauty." He stated, grinning at her as he leaned back and put his hands up in surrender, "I'm already dead, babes."

"Then stay that way."

Jet just frowned and stared at the camera, wincing as the timer finally ran out. As soon as it did, Jet got out of his seat and left, not wanting to spend another minute with her as he felt his confidence take a blow from her jabs.

'Aye, what happened down there?' Sokka teased while Jet just groaned and flopped down onto the spare chair. 'All that talk about 'stealing ya girl' and you struck out on your first date? Ha ha ha ha ha ha…'

'Nah, allow it fam," Jet protested, shaking his head as Sokka stood up and shuffled downstairs. 'You saw how boring she was right?' He turned towards Aang who simply shrugged his shoulders. 'I was asking bare questions and she was giving back one-worded answers.'

'Alright, we get it,' Zuko smirked, his eyes still glued to the screen, 'you're a fuckboy who couldn't charm her.'

'Nah, fam its not even that. She just – '

Jet was cut off by Zuko shushing him while gesturing towards the screen, thus indicating that Sokka had now met up with Mai and their date had begun.

"Hi there, I'm Sokka," he greeted her, shaking her hand as he took his seat.

"Mai," she answered, still as bored as before.

Sokka, sensing that she likely wasn't going to change her attitude on his account, decided – after having a short, improvised staring contest with her, that he wasn't going to waste his nor her time by pointless trying to woo her. Plus, despite currently losing the game, he was confident he still had Suki and could pull it back with a vote from the next girl.

"You know what, you're obviously very pretty," he began, already trying to stand up while he spoke. "But I'm attracted more to personality, and yours ain't it for me."

'No way!' Jet piped up while Zuko just smiled, 'Is he really doing this?!'

Shrugging, Mai nodded her head as she answered, "The feeling's mutual."

Raising his eyebrow in confusion and doubt, Sokka stared at her for a while before he replied, "But you don't even know me."

"I can tell just by looking at you that you're probably loud, annoying, the-jealous-type… and probably an obsessed meat lover."

Sokka continued to stare at her, baffled – his eyes wide and mouth agape; he wanted to retort and deny her claims, but honestly couldn't.

'Yeah, I think I love her,' Zuko whispered, still entranced.

'Aye,' Aang stated as he shrugged, 'She's done my man dirty… but she ain't wrong.'

"So, trust me when I say, you're not my type either," she finished, sipping her chai tea so casually; acting as if she hadn't ripped Sokka a new one just now.

He shook his head, coming out of his disbelief and shock as he looked towards the camera and spoke, "Well, we'll leave it at that then aye. She's not my type."

With that, he shook her hand in goodbye hesitantly – still reeling from the verbal jabs – and took his leave, walking upstairs. However, he grimaced when he saw that Aang was already halfway down the stairs, most likely preparing to do exactly what Sokka had done.

"Good luck bro," Sokka fist bumped him when he passed Aang, "You're gonna need it."

"After seeing what you two just went through," Aang shivered unpleasantly, "yeah," he conceded, "I probably will."

'What was that Sokka?' Jet asked when Sokka took a seat beside him. 'You didn't even try.'

'Look here, right,' Sokka began – not noticing how Zuko was nervously biting his nails in anticipation of what Aang would pull out of his sleeve this time. 'I'm not going to waste my time trying to impress a gal who I don't like and will probably never be into a man like me.'

'Nah, I hear you,' Jet stated, fist bumping Sokka as they both turned to the screen, watching Aang walk up to Mai who was still seated. 'Let's see what homeboy cooks up this time,' Jet and Sokka looked onwards, still not noticing a nervous Zuko beginning to sweat.

"Hi, I'm Aang," he cheered, walking up to her and holding his hand out for her to shake. She rolled her eyes and shook his hand, however, when she did, she was mildly surprised to find that Aang had brought her hand to his lips and planted a soft kiss there.

Sokka and Jet winced, glancing at a now fuming Zuko.

"And you are?" Aang asked, smirking when he noticed that Mai was slightly flushed.

"I'm M-Mai," she replied, shaking her head to regain her wits as Aang took a seat across from her, now smiling widely.

'Oh shit! She stuttered for a second there!' Sokka cheered, ignoring a groaning Zuko as he wondered if Aang could actually pull this off. 'Yo, he may actually win her over.'

"Mai… that's a nice name," Aang raised an eyebrow playfully, "don't you think so?"

Confused, Mai too raised her eyebrow as she shrugged her shoulders, "Yeah, why not."

"I'll be honest," Aang began, leaning forward as she mirrored his movement in slight interest. "At first I thought… 'I'll go in there and try to charm her.'"

"What stopped you?" Mai interrupted, not wanting to go through another noy's poor attempt at flirting with or wooing her.

Aang chuckled, "You mean other than the way you shut down both Sokka and Jet?" She smirked proudly while he continued, "I saw the way my brudda upstairs was looking at you." Aang smiled, glancing at the camera and winking knowingly, knowing that Zuko was watching nervously and with great interest.

Sokka and Jet smirked when Zuko slightly blushed in embarrassment.

'Nah, I don't think he'll follow through,' Jet observed, concluding that Aang would likely friendzone her for Zuko.

"How was he looking at me?" Mai asked, now mildly intrigued.

"Like he wanted to buy you a ring," Aang smiled, turning back to the camera again for a short glance before he focused on Mai again.

"You guys sure move fast," she observed, taking a short while to glance at the camera too while smirking knowingly.

'Aye, where the fuck was all this personality when I was down there?' Jet asked, baffled.

Sokka simply shook his head; just as confused as Jet. 'Bro, what is it about Aang that makes even gal want to open up to him?'

'She gonna open up,' Jet smirked, winking at Sokka when they both noticed Zuko clenching his fists while glaring at them, his eyes finally removed from the screen in front.

'Fo sure, look at how she's moving to him,' Sokka smirked too, joining in on teasing Zuko along with Jet. 'I would be surprised if he has a dry weekend now, what with her crawling all over h – '

'Aye, shut up you lot!' Zuko growled, turning back towards the screen while Sokka and Jet snickered knowingly.

"That's how the boys and I are," Aang shrugged as he leaned back and stated nonchalantly, "we don't engage in casual dating. If we see a girl we really like, we immediately think long term, cause we don't wanna waste our time nor yours; fi we get together and breakup in a few months and years, it'll benefit no one."

"So, why aren't you moving on me like that fuckboy… Uhh, I forgot his name?"

Zuko and Sokka screamed while Jet just sat there shocked. 'He was the first one up and she don't even remember man's name!'

'Bro she violated you,' Zuko stated as they both settled down.

"You mean Jet?" Aang offered.

"Yeah, Jet, why aren't you moving onto me like he was?"

Aang smirked, "Do you want me to?"

'Aang! No!' Zuko growled, noticing how Mai blushed slightly when Aang teased her.

'Relax, man… you know how he is; he'll fuck around but he won't do nothing.' Sokka offered, to which Jet nodded and agreed with.

'Yeah, he doesn't like her like that. You can tell.'

"You're a little full of yourself, aren't you," Mai smirked, teasing back as she knew she wasn't going to be undone by this Air Nomad, even if she did think he was cute. "That could be a problem."

"If I was full of myself then I'd make a move on you," Aang suggested, "but since I saw how my man upstairs was already in love," he glanced again at the camera, knowing that Zuko was likely blushing beet red at this point before he turned back to Mai, "I decided to friendzone you."

'You know what Aang, nah' Zuko shook his head as he stared at the camera, addressing Aang as he knew he'd be watching this clip later on. 'I love you brother, thank you. But its not like you had a chance with her anyway.'

'You sure about that scarface?' Sokka asked, smirking while pointing towards the screen as he watched Mai and Aang go back and forth.

She raised her eyebrow, "You?" She pointed to him, before pointing back at herself, "Friendzone me?"

Aang shrugged, "Well, yeah."

She chuckled – like genuinely chuckled, "And you say, 'you're not full of yourself'." Mai joked, shaking her head when Aang too chuckled in defeat, raising his hands in defeat.

"Touché."

"What makes you think I would even want you as a friend?" Mai asked, crossing her arms against her chest and raising an eyebrow, the challenge clear in her expression.

Aang simply smiled at her as he shrugged, "Well, seeing as how you haven't cussed me out or threatened to kill me yet, I'd say even though you may not like me, you definitely don't not like me."

Mai smiled at him for a short moment before groaning. Noticing her slipup, Aang grinned in victory as he cheered and congratulated himself. "Yep, you're definitely not my type, but I don't not like you… I guess." She gritted out but scoffed when she saw his grin widen, "Wipe that off your face."

"Got something against smiling?" Aang asked, still grinning.

"We're bitter enemies," she replied, trying desperately to not allow the ends of her lips to tug upwards.

'Bro, he's not even trying to move on her but he's still charming her!' Sokka exclaimed, completely awestruck by how Aang was able to bring a personality out of this 'what-seemed-to-be-an-emotionally-dead' girl.

'She hasn't even called him a friend,' Zuko defended, 'she's not interested in him. She's said so herself twice now, I think.'

'Yep, this chicks' into them grumpy, boring, awkward, emo-looking guys,' Jet snickered as he teased Zuko further, 'So, you should be perfect for her.'

Zuko simply growled, 'She violated you Jet; you can't talk. So, shut your mouth.' Though, his mood lightened when he noticed Aang's date was now coming to a close.

"Maybe that's why you need a friend like me," Aang suggested, his smile unwavering. "I can help bring it out."

Mai waved him off, taking another sip of her chai tea before continuing, "I've already got a friend who works religiously to do that."

"She ever succeed?" Aang asked, intrigued by this sudden mention of a friend.

Mai shrugged nonchalantly as she responded, "Rarely."

"All the more reason for me to join the party," Aang chuckled, though, when he saw Mai's confused expression, he elaborated. "If your smile is so rare to come by, then it must be a sight worth fighting for."

Just then, Mai blushed a little and smiled somewhat – Aang grinned again, and she groaned in defeat. However, in that moment, the timer was set off, thus concluding their date – much to Zuko's relief.

"I hate you," she groaned out, unable to stop her lips from curving upwards when Aang laughed – clearly, he didn't believe a word she had uttered.

"No, you don't," he laughed again.

"Fuck, you two would be perfect for each other," Mai observed, imagining how sappy and hopeless her friend and the boy sitting across from her would be if they ever met.

"Who?" Aang asked, his interest spiking once again, "Your friend?"

Mai nodded her head as her mood shifted back into the same bored, 'I-hate-my-life' and 'why-am-I-here' expression Aang had first witnessed – though, he didn't mind it this time; for he understood what was hidden beneath it was special.

"She's just as cheery, optimistic, and happy-go-lucky as you…" she trailed off, observing him for another second despite their date already being over.

'Yo, why is he still sitting there fam?!' Zuko yelled while Sokka and Jet snickered behind him. 'The date's over, its done. Walk away bruv!'

"In fact, she's probably just as flirty as you," Mai suggested while Aang stood up. "I might have half a mind to convince her to come here in a few minutes."

Aang smirked at her as he shook her hand.

'Oh, for fuck's sake… what is he doing now?!' Zuko, thinking Aang would kiss her hand again, grew frustrated and was ready to stomp downstairs and pull Aang away from her but he was held back by Sokka and Jet. Also, he saw that Aang tried nothing of the sort again and calmed down.

"Does that mean you're doing me a favour cause you're my friend?" Aang asked, wiggling his eyebrows knowingly which she rolled her eyes to – but she smirked back, nonetheless.

"Maybe."

"I'll see you around Mai," Aang stated as he walked back upstairs, preparing himself for the verbal lashing he was likely to receive from Zuko.

As Aang turned the corner, he was immediately met with Zuko's glare, Jet's smirk, and Sokka's nod of approval.

'There you are you little shit,' Zuko growled as he stomped over to Aang, now not being held back by neither Sokka nor Jet as they wanted to see what he'd do – though, they knew he wouldn't hit him.

'Little? Man's 6 foot 3, he's taller than you bud,' Jet stated in a matter-of-fact way as Sokka snickered behind me.

'Zuko… Zuko relax…', Aang tried to calm his friend down when he got too close. Thinking he was going to get struck, Aang prepared to side-step him but immediately halted when he felt Zuko's arms wound around him, holding him close as he hugged the Air Nomad.

'Thanks for that Aang,' Zuko stated, keeping the hug brief since he wasn't actually a fan of them. 'I owe you one, bruv.'

However, since Aang didn't get to hug him back, he opted to fix his mistake. Zuko, when he saw Aang grinning at him mischievously, immediately wanted to make a run for it but was unable to as Aang's arms were already tightly locked around him. Sokka and Jet laughed aloud at the situation before them – they felt a little bad because they knew Aang could give tight hugs, and since he was particularly strong, his hugs could also hurt. Yet, when Zuko's face turned red, they began laughing their asses off even harder, knowing that he had put himself in that situation by playing with fire.

When Aang released Zuko, he laughed before patting him on the back and pushing him down the stairs, 'Go get her Hotman. You've got this."

Turning back around, despite the affection from Aang which he certainly didn't need, he smiled at his friends before making his way downstairs. Last minute, when he turned the corner and met Mai's eyes, he opted to take his red glasses off. With his glasses now hanging by his collar, Zuko tried to pull off the best smile he could – hoping that he wasn't scaring her away as he knew his forced smiles would likely terrify the most horrific of nightmares.

As Mai met Zuko's smile, she immediately grimaced jokingly, "If you're going to smile, then can you not be so bad at it?"

'Okay, she's actually just violating all of us,' Sokka snickered when Zuko's face fell.

Instantly, his smile dropped, and he matched her bored and gloomy expression. "I'm Zuko," he introduced himself, choosing to ignore her comment as he took a seat across from her.

"Mai," she smirked, "but you already knew that, didn't you?"

When Zuko blushed beet red, Aang, Sokka and Jet began laughing out loud again – so loud in fact, that the pair downstairs could hear them.

"Someone told me that you have a little crush on me," Mai continued, unsure as to why she was enjoying teasing him so much despite only knowing him for a few seconds. She liked him, a lot – she knew that much for sure.

"Well, you and he are both wrong," Zuko challenged – sure, he liked her, but he wasn't going to back down from anyone. Also, something told him that she may respect him for it… maybe even like him.

Mai smirked before she shrugged it off, though, her smirk returned when she continued, "I guess you're right…" Zuko raised an eyebrow, thinking she was conceding, but he had gotten his hopes up too soon. "You don't have a crush, because you're already so lost that we both know you're planning our wedding, am I right?"

Zuko blushed beet red again as he dipped his head in a futile attempt to hide it.

'Ha ha ha ha ha… look at him. He's so nervous he doesn't know whether to be happy that she's into him or scared that she's into him,' Aang joked, drawing more laughs from Sokka and Jet before Sokka pipped up.

'Bro, I swear, where was all this energy during our dates?' Sokka asked, gesturing towards him and Jet as they watched on. 'She gave us nothing to work with, meanwhile, she's fucking cracking jokes with you two.'

'You man are just salty cause you're losing the game,' Aang waved it off.

When Zuko still hadn't recovered from his embarrassment, Mai looked to her side and sighed, not particularly fond of a sunset. "Orange is such an awful colour."

Sokka and Jet snickered when they noticed Aang's heartbroken expression; he was wearing an orange hoodie and beanie.

"HOW CAN SHE SAY THAT?!"

Just then, when Zuko glanced up to see the disgust on Mai's face, he spoke – not knowing what came over him, "You're so beautiful when you hate the world."

Aang, Sokka and Jet shared a look as they glanced at each other, all of them agreeing silently that that was the stupidest thing Zuko had ever said to a girl. However, they were all baffled when Mai snickered in response.

"Thanks," she replied somewhat shyly. "For the record, I don't hate you."

Zuko smiled, "I don't hate you either…"

"You know, I don't like wasting time…" Mai trailed off suggestively while smiling genuinely.

Zuko smiled back, "Me neither."

Not knowing what came over them, or why they really did it, Mai and Zuko both leaned in over the table and shared a soft kiss, which soon turned into them making out until the timer for their date ran out.

'Well, I guess its safe to say he won this round,' Aang joked, chuckling at Sokka and Jet's dumbfounded expressions.

'FAM! NO ONE TOLD ME YOU COULD SUCK FACE!' Sokka exclaimed, throwing his hands in the air in frustration as he stood up and began pacing around the room. 'IF I KNEW THAT, SUKI AND I WOULD'VE BEEN DOING OUR TING THE ENTIRE TIME!'

'Aye, who made up the rules?' Jet asked while Sokka continued to rant in the background.

Aang sighed as he turned to face him, 'This idiot,' he gestured towards Sokka.

'Yo, she's leaving,' Jet pointed out as they all saw Zuko walking Mai out. Before she left, she took his phone, probably put her contact in it, and walked away before kissing him again shortly in goodbye.

'What the fuck? So, is she his girlfriend now or something?' Jet asked.

Aang simply shrugged, but they all turned around and faced the stairs when Zuko appeared behind them.

Noticing his three friends staring at him, one impressed, one intrigued and one completely irate, Zuko just shrugged his shoulders as he asked, 'What?'

'What was that?!' Sokka asked impatiently.

'What was what?' he asked, genuinely confused.

'That stunt that you pulled down there, no one said you could kiss the gal!'

Zuko raised his eyebrow as he took his seat beside Aang who simply fist bumped him, 'Right. But no one said you couldn't either.'

'You – but I – You can't – Ughh!' Sokka groaned in defeat as he pulled out his phone to see who the final girl was. 'Whatever, let's just move on. But no kissing girls from now!'

'What?! Why?!' Protested Jet.

'Because I didn't get to kiss mine,' Sokka simply stated in a matter-of-fact tone as he pulled up the girl's details.

'Yo, real quick, what made you want to kiss her?' Jet asked, turning back to the Fire Prince, genuinely intrigued as he knew that if he had tried a stunt like that Mai would've more than likely castrated him.

Zuko simply shrugged his shoulders again, 'I don't know… I just… wanted to. But,' he continued, now wearing an awestruck expression, 'I have to admit, it felt so right. The way that she –'

'Okay! Okay! We get it! You've done a Sokka…' Aang exclaimed, blocking his ears to stop himself from hearing more.

'What'd you mean, "done a Sokka"?'

Aang snickered as Sokka and Zuko both turned their attention to him accusingly, 'You wife'd a girl you've known only for five minutes.' Aang laughed when they both blushed. 'In fact,' he piped up, pointing towards Zuko as he continued, 'you took it a step further by talking for two minutes, and sucking face for the remaining three.'

Jet and Aang both laughed out loud, high fiving each other as Zuko blushed further, that is, until Sokka shook his head to refute.

'You see, here's the thing airhead,' Sokka began sternly yet jokingly, 'you're talking all this shit, but the moment you see a girl you actually like yeh… you'll be ten times worse than us. You'll be out here planning your 1st month anniversary, to meeting her parents, to your honeymoon and all the way till yall have your first child.'

Aang simply rolled his eyes and shook his head in disbelief, 'As if that'll ever happen. I mean, what're the chances this next girl will be the one I've been searching for?'

'Don't speak to soon bruv,' Zuko warned knowingly before Sokka cut him off.

'Ahh fuck. The girl: Ty Lee, can't make it; something about getting called in to work last minute.'

'Do we have anyone else who could come last minute?' Aang asked, predominantly bummed out that they would probably have to call it day because he was actually having fun; all the girls were nice and fun to talk to so far, and torturing his friends was always a plus.

'I don't. What about you?' Sokka asked Jet and then Aang – both of them shook their heads in denial

'I might,' Zuko piped up. Taking out his phone, he pressed on a contact and walked to the other side of the room, speaking in a lower volume than usual. A few seconds later, when he returned, he smiled at them.

Narrowing his eyes suspiciously, Sokka crossed his arms as he asked, 'What? Who'd you call?'

'Mai,' Zuko simply stated, getting a smile and nod of approval from all his boys. 'She said her friend would be down; she'll be arriving in twenty minutes or so.'

Although the timing wasn't convenient, they all knew that they probably couldn't do any better in that moment, so they were just grateful they had someone to finish the video with and wouldn't have to postpone it.

'Well?' Sokka asked impatiently, 'What's her name? Who is she? And is she hot?'

'You know Suki's gonna watch this back, right?' Aang asked, raising his eyebrow as he gazed at Sokka's who's eyes widened in shock… or fear? Aang couldn't tell – either way, the desired reaction was achieved so he just snickered to himself.

'Mai didn't tell me her name – she just said that a close friend of hers was nearby and could make it in time. And I don't know if she's hot and I don't care.'

'Whipped already Hotman?' Jet teased, to which Zuko scowled.

'I like Mai, okay. I really like her. She's the most beautiful girl in the world to me and I – '

'Don't you mean,' Aang cut him off, succeeding in imitating Zuko's low, raspy voice as he spoke menacingly, 'I don't hate her.'

As Zuko blushed, Aang, Sokka and Jet laughed amongst themselves. Sokka and Jet continued laughing and Zuko went back and forth between them, arguing over who was more whipped: Zuko or Sokka.

Neither of them noticed that Aang's eyes were now glued to the screen; seemingly stuck in a lovestruck trance when a bronze beauty wearing mostly blue neared the restaurant.

'Wow,' he whispered to himself, 'she's gorgeous.'
