A/N: Here is the next chapter of my Megaforce rewrite, which I've dubbed "Starforce". I hope you enjoy!

Disclaimer: I do not own Power Rangers Megaforce/Starforce or Tensou Sentai Goseiger in any way. I just own most of the plot and the characters and things you don't recognize from the original version.

This chapter is Emma-centric, with a bit of Gia, and it focuses on how different the two girls are, and why their relationship is the way it is.

Also, fun fact: This episode is also related to Dino Charge, as the plot of the canon episode (specifically Gia and Emma being turned against each other) was used for "No Matter How You Slice It".

Power Rangers: Megaforce REDO – dubbed Starforce

Season 1, Episode 7: Girl Power

The Land Below

October 1, 2015

"Vrak, I'm glad you're here," Malkor greeted as Vrak entered the room that morning. "We have a new ally. She claims to be royalty."

"Really?" Vrak asked, interested.

Creepox was apparently tired of waiting, "Who does she think she is?!"

"Female!" There was suddenly the sound of laughter that accompanied the voice, as Beezara entered, "As the queen of my hive, I must look my best for my royal subjects! In contrast to drones like yourself," she told Creepox. "When was the last time you had a bath?" Creepox growled in anger. Beezara ignored him, instead turning to Malkor, "I am in shock that you can stand the stench of your subordinates. We all know females are much better company than men and deadlier adversaries. We're also smarter."

Creepox growled, "I'll show you who's smarter!"

But Beezara stopped his attack by spraying him with her venom. He stopped and she coldly said, "Someone needs to learn some manners. I am the great queen warrior, Beezara! I command respect!"

Vrak recognized the name, "Ah, yes. Your excellent reputation proceeds you."

Malkor added, "Your ruthlessness and craftiness is the reason we called your here. Now, how do you plan to help me deal with the Rangers?"

"My royal jelly venom will make all human males my loyal servants. One taste and they will be unable to refuse my commands. I plan to target the female Rangers by first incapacitating the males in one fell swoop." She then laughed, ending their conversation.

Misty Elderberry Forest, Harwood County, Oregon

Gia and Emma ride their bikes through the forest, before Gia saw a large flower much like the one Emma had described. She stopped her bike and called out to Emma, who stopped her own bike and quickly followed her.

"You found it?" Emma asked, taking out her camera.

"I think so," Gia replied, before leading the younger girl to where she saw the flower. "Is this it?"

It was larger than the various forest surrounding it, and its petals were a mix of pastel pink and white. Its stem was towering and there was no denying that it was a marvel.

Emma gave a small gasp, "Yes, it is. This is the Magnus Bloomus Annulus, Gia. It's a rare flower that blooms only one day a year. They're very hard to find, as they only grow in certain environments. They're rare and we get to see one in person. Isn't it amazing?"

"It is," Gia quietly agreed, as Emma moved closer to the flower and got her camera ready. "I wonder why it blossoms for only one day."

Emma started taking pictures, from various angles, "That's one of nature's secrets. It's things like this that make our planet so special, don't you think?"

"Yeah," Gia replied, perfectly content with just watching her.

"Finding this flower was on my mom's bucket list," Emma revealed, as she lowered her camera. "But it was the only thing she never got to accomplish. Everything else on her list she managed to either see or do, but not this."

Because it was just that rare, Gia realized, as her smile faded. She slapped it back on, though, when she offered, "I could take a picture of you next to it. You know, as proof that you actually found it."

Emma handed Gia her camera with a grateful smile, and softly replied, "Thank you."

As Gia took about five pictures of Emma next to the flower, the blonde said, "I think it's great that you primarily did this for your mother, but I hope you know, Emma, that you found a rare flower that only blooms once a year."

Emma's smile got wider, just in time for Gia to snap a picture of it, "Oh, I know. The Nature Club told me that if I did find it, then I should publish the photos in the newspaper. So I'm also doing this for them. Maybe then, that would entice more people to join."

Gia put down the camera, having taken enough pictures, "I hope so."

As she handed Emma her camera back, the Pink Ranger said, "Hey, you want to take some pictures with both of us? Just for us?"

"Sure," Gia replied. "As long as you show no one else. I have a feeling they'll ruin my tough girl image."

Emma laughed, "Sure thing," before raising the camera.

Four-Leaf Clover Mall, Harwood Country, Oregon

A half an hour later, the two found themselves outside the photo shop, but for good reason. Emma needed to develop the pictures she took before she submitted them to the newspaper.

"It'll only take an hour," Emma said.

"Okay," Gia replied. "I'll wait out here for you."

"Thanks," Emma said. "Maybe we could get froyo at Ernie's after this?"

Gia smiled, "We'll see."

Emma went inside, and Gia was left to her own devices. She could easily keep track of Emma, due to the shop having windows instead walls, so Gia was free to surf Noah's social networking site. Half of her wanted to just waste time, but the other half was legitimately curious if anyone had seen anything weird.

Nothing strange, aside from some male students that were mysteriously missing and had never arrived at school, despite their parents or guardians confirming them leaving the house.

As she heard a familiar sounding sneer, Gia put her phone away, deciding to bring up this topic later with the other Rangers. However, she wished she had continued to stare at her phone screen, because the person who had sneered was probably Gia's worst enemy.

Tiffany, and her two lackies Christy and Gina.

She hated Tiffany so much that if she, Tiffany, and Jake were the only people left on Earth, she'd choose Jake one hundred times before she ever considered Tiffany.

She felt bad for Christy and Gina, since they were only friends with Tiffany due to their parents working for hers. Gia didn't know how Emma fell for the lies of a queen bee like Tiffany, but the Pink Ranger remained blissfully unaware that her supposed best friend was only using her, specifically using her kindness and willingness to help to only benefit Tiffany herself.

"Well, Moron," Tiffany said, using her usual nickname for Gia (just her last name, Moran, with a single letter changed), "how many pictures do you plan on photoshopping? That flower doesn't exist. It never did."

Gia walked up to Tiffany and stood in front of her, crossing her arms, fully steeled up and ready for whatever mind games Tiffany planned to play, "Emma did find the flower, actually. I know, because I was there."

Tiffany laughed, "You? Hanging out with a loser like Goodall? Well, you're a loser, too, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised."

"Yes," Gia replied. "If you have a problem with that, I'm perfectly find with letting my fists do the talking. You're not though, and not just because you know you'll lose, but also because you don't want to ruin that pretty face of yours or your hour's worth of makeup."

There was no longer a smile on Tiffany's face, nor was she looking at Gia. Gia turned around to see Emma standing there, a photo package in her hands and a confused look on her face.

"What's going on?" Emma asked, walking closer.

Tiffany scrambled to cover this up, yet she was surprisingly calm, "Don't worry. We just had a little disagreement about flowers, before Moron started threatening me."

Since 'Moron' and 'Moran' sounded very similar, this nickname flew over Emma's head.

"Could you handle this, Em?" Tiffany continued. "I need to go home and do some homework."

As Tiffany left, Christy and Gina on her heels, Emma turns to Gia, concerned and still confused, "Gia, is it true? Were you really threatening her?"

"It's called 'squaring up'," Gia corrected. "Not 'threatening'. She was talking bull and she got mad 'cause I called her out on it."

"Tiffany would never start a fight," Emma protested. "She's too nice for that. She's a role model for everybody!"

Gia could practically hear Tiffany's laughter echoing in her head, the laugh she made when she knew her victory was secured. Emma was no doubt on Tiffany's side, and Gia didn't want to break Emma's comfortable fantasy.

But she had to.

"Emma," Gia turned to face the Pink Ranger, and placed her hands on her shoulders, "No one is perfect."

"Tiffany is!" Emma argued, her voice getting louder. "I can't beleive you would just accuse her like that! That's super low, even for you, Gia."

"Emma-"

But she cut Gia off quickly, "No! There's no excuse you can make to convince me! Tiffany is my best friend, and she would never hurt a fly!"

"She talks about you behind your back, Emma!" Gia finally yelled out. "She literally just accused you of faking those photos you just developed." Emma was speechless, and the blonde continued, "She's a bully who's out for no one but herself."

But Emma started shaking her head.

"E-Emma," Gia quietly stuttered out, "you know me."

But Emma wasn't willing to accept this, and she quietly replied, "You're the bully, Gia Moran."

Gia shook her head as Emma stormed away.

She wished Emma wasn't so naive.

Gemstone Park, Harwood County, Oregon

Jake kicked a ball directly into the goal, before heading over to Noah, who was sitting in the bleachers, surfing his website on his laptop. He had finished his homework already, and Gia had just texted him to check out what people were theorizing about the recent disappearance of some of their male classmates this morning.

It was after school, so the field was empty, save for them two.

Jake leaned on against the fence in front of Noah, "What's up? You look very deep in thought."

"I was thinking about Vrak. The monsters we've faced in the past were all insects," Noah explained. "Or at least, they were modeled after insects. Even Creepox was an insect. But Vrak wasn't. He didn't look like one at all, and he also said he was wearing armor."

Suddenly, several Spirits appeared on the field, along with a female bee-looking monster, who said, "Silly games for silly boys," referring to the soccer field and the ball in Jake's hand.

Jake immediately got into a defensive position, and he told Noah, "Worry about that later."

The monster continued, "Hello, Rangers. Are you boys ready to work for a living?"

"It's over, big bad beetle!" Jake said. "We're here to stop you!"

"How dare you insult me!" the monster was insulted. "I am Queen Beezara, and I'll be addressed as such."

She shot her venom at them, but the two quickly rolled to the side, morphing on the way, "Starforce, Shine Down!"

The two Rangers charged towards Beezara and soon the three were fighting. As they fought, Beezara asked them, "Do you think this is any way to treat a queen?"

Soon she knocked them both to the ground. As they got up, she shot them with her venom again, and this time, it hit them dead on.

"It's toxic!" Noah exclaimed.

"I'm going numb!" Jake said, as the two de-morphed and hit the ground.

Noting that they were unable to get back up, Beezara sarcastically asked, "What happened?"

Jake yelled back, "We can't move!"

Beezara laughed, "You will move when I let you. In my hive, you will become my slaces. What an honor it will be to serve me, Queen Beezara, for the rest of your sorry little lives."

Suddenly, Gia, Troy, and Emma leapt into the fray (fully morphed) and shot at her with their Star Blasters. Their combined attack forced the monster back, and the trio ran over to check on their friends, keeping their Blasters aimed at Beezara.

"Hello, Rangers," Beezara greeted them. "I've been waiting for you."

She then shot her venom at them, which Troy blocked with his Dragon Sword. He leapt forward Beezara and began fighting her.

During the fight, Beezara told him, "Soon, all you males will be under command." She then struck Troy hard several times, before he leapt into the air again, ready to attack with his Sword, but was hit by her venom.

He fell to the ground, de-morphing, and quickly found himself unable to move.

Gia pulled out a Power Card and inserted it into her morpher. "Shine Down!" she activated the Card.

"Summon Battle Gear!"

"Tiger Claw!" Gia announced, before moving to charge in.

But Emma stopped her, clearly irritated, "You can't summon the Starforce Blaster yet, Gia! I need to call the Phoenix Shot first!" She produced her own weapon and start pressing against Gia's Tiger Claw.

"What are you doing?!" Gia demanded, pissed off. Was Emma just messing with her or was she being serious? "Our weapons don't fit together."

"We need to combine our powers somehow," Emma protested, as she continued trying to force their weapons together.

"They're not connecting, you idiot!" Gia yelled back.

"What's wrong with the girls?" Noah asked, concerned. Just this morning, they were fine.

"They can't stop arguing," Jake noted.

"Something must have happened to them after going to find that flower," Troy told them. "They were fine before then."

Gia continued to resist Emma's pushing and shoving. Beezara's comment of "What beautiful chaos" caused Emma to snap back to reality and stop.

"They're not compatible," Emma noted, finally.

"Thank you, Captain Obvious," Gia sassed back. "Just fight her!"

"Don't tell me what to do!" Emma yelled back, before charging in, leaving Gia in the dust.

"Hey! We need to attack her together!" Gia replied, as she watched Emma start fighting Beezara with her Phoenix Shot, but was quickly knocked to the ground.

Beezara raised her weapon to attack Emma, but Gia raced over and blocked the blast with her body, by covering Emma with it.

The monster responded by picking Gia up by the scruff of her neck and placing a foot on Emma's stomach. She told them both, "You two being bitter enemies already wasn't what I was expecting, but I can tell you, it helps me a great deal!"

She then kicked them both hard, and they went flying. They hit the next of the goal at the end of the field and bounced off of it, before hitting the ground and de-morphing.

Beezara scoffed in triumph, and ordered the three guys, "Carry me to my hive."

Against their will, Troy, Jake, and Noah carried her away, while Emma and Gia could only watch.

Inside the hive, Beezara had all the guys working hard. Noah noted that he, Jake, and Troy weren't the only guys the monster had infected. Noah recognized their male classmates there, busy washing clothes, the same ones that had gone missing that very same morning (he also realized that Gia was right to be concerned about their disappearance).

Beezara had taken a seat and leaned back as Troy was filing her nails, "It's been eons since I had a maniure. Make them pretty, Red." She then addressed the others, "You should all feel honored to serve as my slaves."

Noah found himself trying hard not to get sick, as he was cleaning her feet, "I can't beleive I'm rubbing her stinky feet..."

"Hey, be quiet, Blue!" she cried out. "Black, strike him. Hard."

Jake, who was fanning her before this, took his fan, and despite fighting hard against the command, hit Noah with it hard.

"Ow! Hey!"

"Sorry," Jake sincerely apologized.

Beezara laughed, "Foot boy, don't forget the gunk between my toes."

Repulsively, Noah did has he was told. He could tell that Jake and Troy were trying not to get sick too.

Emma and Gia were searching the woods. Not together, but apart.

The Pink Ranger found a branch and picked it up, "Hey, this has been broken recently. They must have gone this way."

Gia walked past her, commenting, "Anything could have broken that branch. I say we figure out where a large group of people can hide without being detected." She turned to face the brunette, "Logic, Goodall."

Emma stormed up to the blonde, "Clues, Moran!"

But then she stopped when she realized that Gia's surname sounded a lot like the nickname Tiffany had given the blonde earlier. 'Moran' sounded a lot like 'Moron'.

Gia walked past Emma, coldly saying, "Fine. You go your way. I'll go mine."

"Wait, Gia!" Emma suddenly cried out. Gia stopped, but didn't turn to face her. "Beezara said herself that us fighting each other is only helping her. We need to work together to save the guys."

Gia didn't move, only turning around to face Emma slightly.

Emma continued, "Let's call Gosei and Tensou and see if they can using the guys' morphers to locate them, instead of us fighting and just getting nowhere."

Gia nodded, solemnly, and as Emma pulled out her Morpher, the brunette could swear she saw unshed tears in the blonde's eyes.

~S~A~N~C~T~U~A~R~Y~~~P~O~W~E~R~~R~A~N~G~E~R~S~~S~T~A~R~F~O~R~C~E~~~M~E~G~A~F~O~R~C~E~~R~E~D~O~

Beezara stood up in anger, "I'm tired of you three's constant complaining. Clean up this mess and be grateful you serve me!"

"Stop right there!" Emma revealed hers and Gia's prescence.

But Beezara was not surprised to see them, "Hello, female Rangers. I've been waiting for you. Are you two ready to face your end? All you two need to do is keep arguing while the boys remain under by control."

Emma's fists balled up in anger, "The only end in sight here is yours, Beezara! C'mon, Gia! It's Morphin' Time! Starforce-"

"Roplant-"

"-Shine Down!"

"OUTBREAK!"

Emma morphed, but was too late to realize what card Gia had just activated until she was already wrapped in vines that came out of the ground.

"Gia, what are you doing?!" Emma asked.

But Gia ignored her, "Starforce: Shine Down!"

Fully morphed, Gia leapt up and landed a kick on Beezara.

As the two were fighting, Jake wondered, "Why would Gia essentially put Emma out of commission like that?"

Troy ran to help her, only to run into a force field, just as Gia was knocked to the ground.

"Get up, Gia!" Emma urged.

"I don't need your advice!" Gia yelled back as she got back to her feet.

"What's gotten into you two?!" Jake asked. "We're all on the same side!"

"Not anymore," Beezara replied. "My venom affects girls in an entirely different way that it effects boys, as it causes girls to fight each other. After all, there can only be one queen, but I didn't have to do anything."

Emma struggled to free herself from the vines, as Gia continued fighting Beezara, and demanded, "Why are you doing this to me, Gia?!"

But Noah stepped in to correct her, "You mean 'for you', Emma!" She turned to face him, surprise hidden by her helmet. "Gia's never done a single bad thing to you in her entire life!"

"You three, shut your mouths!" Beezara commanded them, and Troy, Jake, and Noah all immediately put their hands over their mouths.

Gia took a hit and she rolled to the ground. As she got back to her feet, she finally opened up to Emma, "We've known each other since kindergarten, but in all that time, not once did you notice that I never had friends, and it was only after we became Rangers that I decided to open up. But your friends, Emma, were never your friends at all. I've heard them making fun of you since day one. But I've always tried to protect you from her wrath as long as I kept it all on me instead."

Gia became Tiffany's punching bag, so Emma wouldn't. At least, until today, when Emma caught her mid-argument. Gia was never a bully. Tiffany was.

Emma stopped her struggling, and softly asked, "But why did you use Roplant on me?!"

"Because you're the best of us, Emma," Gia stepped back from Beezara, giving herself a breather. "Your personality is special, and I've always been jealous of that. I mean, you wanted to find that flower for your mother and the Nature Club, but never for yourself." She placed a Power Card into her Morpher, "Land Brothers: Shine Down!"

"Summon Zords!"

The three Headders (mini version) flew out of the Morpher and hit Beezara before flying over to Gia. She took out her Star Blaster and attacked the Beetle Headder to it.

"Beetle Star: Set! Full Blast!"

Gia fired and it struck Beezara, who used her venom to try and stop the attack.

"Rhino Star!" The Rhino Headder replaced the Beetle Headder. "Set!" Gia got on her knees, "Full Blast!"

The blast hit Beezara hard and Gia charged in and the fought. During the fight, Beezara claimed, "Now, it's my turn to sting you!"

Emma, meanwhile, was calm. She had stopped struggling, and was taking the time to think about Gia's words.

How could she have been so blind? Gia had sacrificed so much just for Emma's safety and happiness.

Just then, Beezara shot out her venom, and Emma watched as it wrapped around Gia and lifted her up into the air.

Unshed tears came to Emma's eyes, and she tightened her fists in anger.

No more ignorance. Gia deserved some gratitude. For once, it was time for the roles to be reversed.

Suddenly, the Pink Ranger's belt buckle gleamed with light, and a card flew out and cut the vines, freeing Emma, who caught the card.

The card revealed itself as the Zord for the Sky Brothers as she heard Gosei tell her, *"Your courage and kind heart as earned you the Sky Brothers Card, because their hearts directly mirror your own."*

"Thanks, Gosei," Emma said, pulling out her Morpher. She placed the Card into it, saying, "Don't worry, Gia. This time, I'll protect you. Sky Brothers: Shine Down!"

"Summon Zords!"

From the Morpher flew out the Ptera, Hawk, and Crow Headders, and they circled around Emma as she took out her Star Blasters.

"Crow Star: Set! Full Blast!"

The blast broke through the venom holding Gia, successfully freeing her.

Emma let the Crow Headder go and called another one, "Hawk Star: Set! Full Blast!"

The blast knocked Beezara off her feet, as it flew through the air before hitting the ground.

Jake, Noah, and Troy jumped into the air with excitement, before fist bumping each other.

Emma ran to Gia and positioned herself in front of Gia, protecting her from Beezara. As the Yellow Ranger recovered, she softly muttered, "Emma?"

"Thank you, Gia, for everything," Emma quietly replied. "And I'm sorry for not trusting you earlier. I should've listened."

"It's okay," she could tell Gia was smiling now. "I should've told you much earlier, when Tiffany wasn't around to place doubts into your head." She got to her feet, "Now, you ready to zap that bug, together?"

"Yeah, together!" Emma agreed, before the two turned to face Beezara as the monster got back up.

Gia and Emma charged towards her and soon they were fighting her, before landing a powerful kick that knocked her backwards and onto the ground.

The six Headders circled around the two Rangers. Emma began, "United we stand-"

"-Divided we fall," Gia finished, before the two grabbed the last of their three Headers and attached them to the Star Blasters.

"Ptera Star: Set!"

"Tyanno Star: Set!"

Beeara got up once more, only to find to dinosaur Headders pointed directly at her.

"Ultimate Dino Blast!"

The combined blasts circled around each other before hitting Beezara, defeating her.

The three guys leapt into the air once more before running over to the two girls, now free to speak, as the rest of the guys trapped with them ran away to a safer place, presumably back home.

"Glad to see you guys are free!" Emma greeted them.

"Good work, you two," Troy replied. "You girls did great."

Just then, Beezara was revived to giant size, and her voice boomed above them, "You will never destroy me! I am the queen!"

Gia and Emma ran forward, as Troy help up his Morpher, "It's Morphin' Time!"

The three guys morphed together, "Starforce: Shine Down!", before they joined the girls on the edge of the forest.

"Let's take her down!" Jake said.

Gia nodded, "My thoughts exactly!"

The five summoned their Zords together, "Mechazords, Shine Down!"

"Summon Zords!"

After the Rangers all leapt into their mechazords, Troy told his team, "Let's do this!" before holding up his copy of a certain Power Card.

"Zords Combine!"

"Summon Megazord!"

Jake and Gia connected first, forming the legs. Troy followed up, forming the torso. Noah and Emma were last with the arms. The head was formed last.

"Gosei Great Megazord! Ready!"

Beezara taunted, "This is going to sting a little!" before she jabbed the Megazord with her stinger. The Megazord punched her, and she responded with, "Brute force is such an ugly way to win a fight!" She then wrapped her tendrils around the Megazord, binding it. "My venom is not just for humans, you lump of metal!" she laughed, before shooting her venom at it.

The Megazord was hit hard, and several explosions went off inside the cockpit.

"We need help!" Emma declared.

"Right," Troy agreed, before holding out a blank Power Card, "Sky Brothers, send us your power!" The Card flashed and turned into the Card he needed, and he immediately placed it inside his Morpher, "Sky Brothers, Shine Down!"

"Summon Zords!"

From the sky, out flew the Ptera, Hawk, and Crow Zords, ready for battle.

The Crow and Ptera Zords cut the bindings around the Megazord, as the Hawk Zord shot lightning at Beezara, hitting her and freeing the Megazord.

The Megazord then leapt into the air, "Activate Sky Star Megazord!"

In midair, the three Zords attached themselves to the Megazord, creating the said Megazord.

The Megazord flew straight at Beezarra, who shot her venom at them, but missed. The mecha struck the monster before landing.

Gia directed the next few punches, "Counterattack! Again!"

Once done, Emma pushed on her joystick, "Super Sonic Blast!" Sound waves fired at Beezara and hit her dead on.

"C'mon, guys! We'll show her not to underestimate the power of friendship!" Emma took out the Victory Charge card.

"Victory Charge: Shine Down! On behalf of The Land Beyond, your sentence is destruction! Sky Strike!"

"Victory Charge!"

Beezara was finally destroyed for the last time, and the Rangers cheered inside the cockpit.

Noah and Troy were sitting at a table at Ernie's, both of them waiting for school to start. Noah was reading the newspaper, having been attracted to it by the top story being about ocean pollution. Jake walked over to the table, carrying a couple of drinks.

When he got closer to his seat, he acted as if he was in pain, "Hey, Noah, can you give me a foot massage? You were so good."

He laughed, as Noah glared at him unamused, "That's not funny. And neither was the fact that you hit my head with that fan."

Jake sat down, "I really am sorry about that. I tried to stop."

Emma and Gia walked up to the table and sat down. The three guys quickly noted how happy they were. "So, you guys are best friends now?" Troy asked. At least, they weren't fighting.

"We're working on it," Emma replied. "We need to focus on Tiffany first. She's been avoiding karma far too long."

Noah turned the page, and began to get excited, "Oh, hey, Emma! Look! You're in the paper today!"

Emma leaned over to see what he was seeing, only to panic and snatch the paper from him and hide it behind her back.

"What are you doing, Em?" Noah asked. "It's a beautiful photo-!"

But Emma quickly covered his mouth with her hand, making Jake comment, "This hand over the mouth thing is way too familiar."

Emma reluctantly moved hand, as Troy calmly asked, "What's going on, Emma?"

Gia was quick to agree, "Yeah, what's going on?" Emma refused to give anybody the newspaper, so Gia was forced to gently, and quickly, snatch it back.

It was one of the pictures that Emma took of both herself and Gia next to the Magnus Bloomus Annulus.

"I thought you promised you wouldn't show anybody this," Gia quietly said.

"I did," Emma admitted, "and I'm sorry. I...kinda did it out of spite, because I was mad at you for trying to frame Tiffany." Gia was very quiet, and Emma feared that it was out of anger. "Are you mad?"

"At first, yes," Gia confessed, before slapping on a smile, much like the one in the picture: a real smile. "But I love it, because it's the first smile I've had for a long time."

Emma smiled in return, as Noah asked, impressed, "So, you really found the Magnus Bloomus Annulus?"

Emma nodded, "I did, but only thanks to Gia. If it hadn't been for her, I would've passed right by it." She then turned to Gia, "Are we friends now?"

"Not yet," Gia replied, with a smile. "But someday, we will be."

Emma smiled even brighter, as she mentally promised that none of them would ever be alone again.

Original Goseiger Episode: Epic 9

Original PRM Episode: United We Stand

Note: First off, I'm sorry to anyone who has the names Tiffany, Christy, or Gina. I'm sure you're all lovely people. I just needed random names and those were the first ones that popped up.

To be honest, I mostly changed Gia and Emma's relationship because of how Emma received the Sky Brothers Card in this chapter. While watching the canon series, it always felt to me like they never earned these powers, but writing this rewrite, I realize that they were protecting the Earth, so Gosei had to give them these Cards. In this rewrite, however, remember that these teens are also being tested, so yes, they have to earn it. (P.S. Don't get me started on the subject of them just being given the Legendary Powers in Super Megaforce, because that's a whole different rabbit hole to go down.)

A/N: Review, please. Tell me what you think. If you guys have any ideas you want me to consider adding, or any questions about the story, please PM me. A preview for the next chapter:

Season 1, Episode 8: "Black Out"

"After an explosive argument with the others, Jake finds himself fighting against a dangerously observant monster on his own."
