Sozin's Comet Aftermath:

"Katara, I'm fine now," Zuko groaned, placing a hand atop hers as he patted it, "you can stop."

"I have to make sure you don't… you don't end up lik-," Katara sniffed, unable to continue with her train of thought, moving the water around in her hands as it continued to glow.

"Azula caught Aang off guard and he took the full force of her lightning in the catacombs," Zuko stated, hissing in pain as he sat up and forced the waterbender to halt her fussing over him. "I was able to redirect some of it when I jumped in front of you; that's the only reason I didn't die immediately."

"But still – "

"I'm fine, trust me." he cut off her protests, placing a hand on her shoulders as she wiped her tears away.

"Thanks for that by the way," Katara said, smiling softly as she met his eyes again. Zuko raised an eyebrow in confusion, so she elaborated. "For saving me…"

"Oh, don't worry about it," he shrugged, smiling at her good naturedly until it transformed into a teasing smirk. "Don't get ahead of yourself though, I would've done that for any one of my friends," she met his eyes and narrowed down, "you're nothing special."

"Screw you," he laughed as she punched his arm while chuckling, relieved he was able to lighten the mood somewhat. However, right in that moment, two massive beams of light intruded the midday sky in the distance, highlighting the open space with terrifyingly dark and inspiring light shades.

"Could that be…" Zuko trailed off, watching as the amber glow began overpowering the lighter blue. They didn't know why, but they felt their spirits crying in protest as the lighter glow became closer to being consumed. Neither of the two benders knew much regarding the events transpiring, however, they both understood that it had something to do with the Avatar and Firelord Ozai – Katara only worried further.

"No… Aang… you p-promised," Katara whispered, pleading silently as she closed her eyes, tears searing her bruised tan cheeks as she clasped her hands together and pleaded. "You promised y-you'd come back…" she recalled the words that had rolled off his tongue before he disappeared that night. The promises he'd made: returning to her, announcing their relationship, helping rebuild her tribe, and…

Katara smiled as she kissed him one last time before shuffling away to return to her room, leaving him to meditate and ponder on the situation. However, just before she could slip away from the balcony, he called out to her. She turned back around and regarded him with mirth, thinking there was still something on his chest, something he wanted to relieve himself of, something she'd longed to hear since their declaration in the cave of two lovers.

"I'm gonna marry you someday," he declared over his shoulder – so casually as well, as if it were the most obvious and simply thing in the world.

She had to bite her lip to stifle her grin to no avail. "I just might let you."

Katara sniffed and wiped away her tears when the warmth of a hopeful blue grazed her lidded eyes. She opened her eyes to uncover the events transpiring only to find the inspiring blue light glowing bright, showering the midday sky with a hopeful sensation as the orange glow grew dimmer and dimmer until it completely faded.

"I think… I think…" Zuko faltered, uncertain yet hopeful in what he believed. "I think your boyfriend pulled through."

Katara didn't attempt to hide her grin at all, believing him while also relishing the feeling of having the airbender regarded as her boyfriend without reserve; they'd been keeping their relationship a secret from their group since the cave of two lovers, mostly due to her over protective brother's determination to have her remain 'innocent' until she was forty. Now that the war was likely over, she couldn't help but wonder if he'd sweep her off her feet and kiss her senseless as soon as he returned, regardless of who was in their vicinity. She flushed at the thought, her cheeks donning a familiar red hue as she gazed at the open sky in the distance, marvelled and excited by what the future held for them.

"How did you… how did you know we were together?" She suddenly asked, bewildered as to exactly how Zuko came across that information; they'd done their best to keep it a secret, especially from Toph and Sokka. Katara panicked as another though came though, 'Did they know too?'

Zuko looked at her, confused, "It was pretty obvious." He shrugged, "Plus, don't you remember that you two literally made out in front of my uncle and I in the catacombs?"

Flushed with embarrassment, Katara dipped her head as she helped Zuko to his feet. She helped him to his room and soon took refuge in one of the guest rooms in the Palace, eagerly awaiting her boyfriend's return, hoping he was in good health.

"Aang!" The master waterbender shouted with excitement and relief as the airbender descended the airship. Though, he didn't even get halfway through until he was tackled into a platypus-bearhug by his girlfriend, nearly toppling them over, but he managed to regain his footing when they made impact with the metal plank beneath them.

Katara cried tears of joy into his chest, sniffing and sobbing with a smile on her face as her arms refused to unwrap around him. "You came back…"

"I promised I would, didn't I?"

She nodded against his chest, inhaling heavily to breathe in his scent. Embers and ghastly smoke were mixed in with his usual scent, remnants of the battle. Seemingly forgetting that they were among their friends – her overprotective brother, especially – Katara pulled away from the embrace only to smash her lips against his. It seemed like Aang too was unaware of their current predicament as he lost himself to her lips, sighing into her mouth as their lips parted so their tongues could taste each other. Her arms enveloped his neck and his rounded her small waist as they pulled each other closer, completely unaware of the audience gawking at them.

To his utter horror, Sokka noticed that neither of them had realised where they were, and among whom, thus, neither of them had the desire to stop sucking face either. If Suki hadn't cleared her throat loudly, thus alerting the pair, he was sure he'd die of oogies if that lasted a second longer.

Alarmed, with wide eyes, Katara and Aang turned around only to see a flushed yet amused Suki, a grinning Toph, a bored Zuko, and a Sokka whose eyes were threatening to pop out of their sockets and whose jaw had practically earthbended itself underground.

"Wha – What the fuck was that?!" Sokka asked, bewildered.

Aang and Katara chose to respond with a testimony they'd agreed to beforehand in the case a situation like this ever occurred, but Toph – that devil – beat them to it.

"Jeez Snoozles. You really didn't know?"

"Didn't know what?!" He demanded; his eyes hadn't diverted from Aang's for a second.

Toph grinned wolfishly as she prepared to finalise Aang's death sentence, "That they've been fucking for at least a month now."

"WHAT?!"

Zuko and Suki both looked at Aang at the same time:

"Run."

Aang shifted as Katara's hands ran down his face; she'd healed his bruises from his battle with Ozai, but now she was dealing with the few scrapes Sokka had caused when he tackled Aang to the ground before receiving several waterwhips from the waterbender as punishment.

"I can't believe you actually let him catch up to you on purpose," she chided, slightly upset Aang hadn't just airbended himself away; she didn't like to see him get hurt.

"I'd rather wrestle with him for a few seconds so he can get it out of his system than have him threatening to kill me every chance he gets."

"He's gonna do that regardless," Katara answered back, somewhat amused.

"Well, even if that's true," he took her hand in his, the one that was healing the cut on his lips, "It'll be worth it, for you."

Katara rolled her eyes and shook her head, but her smile formed of it's own accord, and her face grew hotter of its own volition. "You're so cheesy sometimes."

"You love it though," he challenged, grinning as he peered at his girlfriend, who was currently straddling his hips, crossing her arms as she looked away and refused.

"No, I don't."

He raised an eyebrow, challenging her, "Would prefer I be a tease instead?"

"I prefer you tell me the next time you decide to go on an adventure with an ancient lion-turtle," she teased back, smiling as he chuckled alongside her until she suddenly recalled how distraught she was when she'd found his staff and few belongings abandoned on Ember Island. "Seriously though," she frowned – he immediately sat up and regarded her seriously but soothingly. "Don't do that again, Aang. I… I don't like not knowing where you are," she admitted, leaning into his palm when he cupped her cheek. "I start to panic and – and… I remember Ba Sing Se; watching you fall, seeing you die in my arms… I – I start to see it all over again," Katara choked a sob as she fell into his embrace, her hands gripping his shoulders while he rubbed her back and scratched her scalp soothingly. "I… I don't want to lose you again. I can't."

"You won't, Katara. You won't," he promised, shushing her as he continued to comfort her. "I made a promise, remember. And I'm a man of my word," he pulled away and cupped her face with both his hands. Gazing into her eyes with intense passion yet a calmness only he possessed, Aang reminded her: "I'm going to marry you someday." She smiled sadly, a tear rolling down her cheek which he wiped away. "I promised you, sweetie." He leaned in and kissed her forehead, letting his lips linger for a while as he murmured, "One day… I'm gonna marry you, Tara."

She chuckled in joy as she pulled away, wrapping her arms around his neck as she drew him closer. "I just may let you," smiling, she kissed him with a heart that rejoiced the end of a war, all thanks to her boyfriend.

He moaned as she introduced her tongue to his mouth, taking the opportunity to suck on it which caused her to moan in response. Taking his time, Aang slowly unbuttoned her robe, sliding it off her while her hands greedily traced his torso, scratching his chest and feeling his abs as she pushed him further down into the soft and rather large bed. Soon, she was once again straddling him, running her hands up and down his chest as she bit her lip. When he tried to sit up, she pushed him back down, and as he attempted to switch positions, she froze both his hands to the headboard.

"I'm in control tonight," she commanded, smirking at him when he shot her a confused look. "You're going to lay back and enjoy this, and I'm going to have my fun." The airbender grinned wildly; he'd be lying if he said he hadn't wished his girlfriend would try dominating him for a change – he was intrigued and wanted to see just how pleasurable it could be, seeing as how much Katara loved it when he dominated her. Katara, understanding that if he got too excited or impatient, he could just unfreeze his hands and take her himself, decided to remind him of a few consequences. "Just a warning: if you try to melt or waterbend the ice away, I'll stop and leave immediately, and you'll have to settle for your right hand to service you."

Nodding in understanding, Aang eye's widened when she removed her topknot and allowed her beautiful, long her to cascade down her back and over her shoulder. Knowing that he'd surely want to do this himself, and just how badly he'd want to touch her, Katara grinned as she slowly removed her bindings, taking a few extra seconds to unwrap herself just to tease and torture him.

Aang groaned as his eyes raked over her now naked upper body; she was kneading her breasts herself, moaning as she pinched her own nipples in a similar fashion he liked to. She was teasing him. Torturing him. And he was slightly regretting agreeing to letting her have her way, though, his curiosity won out. And regardless of her antics, she was turning him on faster and harder than he'd ever been before.

"Ohhh Aang, that feels so good," she moaned, imaging it was his large, calloused hands palming her supple breasts firmly as she closed her eyes and grinded against his crotch, whimpering at the way his cock immediately stood tall and brushed against her soaking, covered folds.

"Katara… please," he begged, squirming in his icy restraints as she smirked and leaned down.

Her breasts hung just above his face, and he leaned up to get a taste, but unfortunately for him, she'd kept her position particular; where she would be close, yet not close enough for him. Her grin widened when she saw the way he groaned in sexual frustration, wanting badly to kiss and touch and suck on her, and despite having the means to, chose not to. Instead, he decided to let her tease and play with him, to let her have her way with him. And due to his patience and submission, she decided to give him a momentary treat.

Aang's eyes widened when Katara yanked down his trousers and underwear. When he looked up, he saw the sight of her smirking at him with his hard dick in her hand. Before he lost his vision due to her ministrations, the last thing he recalled was her tracing the head of his cock with her thumb before she took him in her mouth.

He was tortured all night, but after a long and gruelling day battling Ozai, he was more than happy to let her take the lead for once, even if that meant he'd be teased for what felt like a blissful eternity.
