"Arachnitor is back and he's extremely powerful. It's time for the Samurai Rangers to step up their game, but can Antonio finish the Black Box in time?"

Power Rangers: Samurai REDO

Season 2, Episode 1: Super Samurai

Junk Ship, Sanzu River, Netherworld

November 12, 2014

Here it was. It was happening.

"Master! Arachnitor's mutating!" Octoroo called out.

"Good!" Xandred replied. "Gut's dealing with the Rangers as we speak, so send him out now and his rampage will go uninterrupted!"

And for approximately sixty-four days, it did.

"I've never skateboarded before," Antonio said to Mike, "but it's pretty fun. Even if I fell more times than I can count."

"Everyone starts off as bad," Mike reassured his friend as the two began their walk back to the House. "If it's any consolation, you did way better than Kevin's first time."

"Really?" Antonio wanted to laugh.

"Yeah," Mike replied. "It seemed like he couldn't go five feet without landing flat on his face."

Antonio laughed as Mike spotted interesting something nearby.

Antonio smiled as he continued, "Sounds like Kevin alright. Has Mia or Jayden tried skateboarding too?" He glanced in Mike's direction only to find no one there. "Mike?"

"Antonio!" Mike called back, and Antonio looked around before locating him far away, next to the sidewalk. "Get over here!"

Antonio jogged over and immediately knew why. "Is that–?"

"Yep," Mike replied. "Call the others."

Antonio immediately flipped open his Morpher.

Outside in the front yard, hazel eyes met brown as Kevin Mosley and Mia Watanabe readied their Spin Swords to attack each other. After Mia found her footing, she went in for the attack. Kevin blocked it, but Mia parried, refusing to give up now.

Now they had their Swords pressed against the other's, both struggling for the upper hand. Both stared into each others' eyes and for a moment, the two forgot that they were sparing. That is, until, a ring from a Samuraizer interrupted the moment.

Both looked back at both Samuraizers on the stone bench off the side.

"Isn't that yours that's ringing?" she asked.

"Yeah, I think so," Kevin muttered, before breaking off, letting Mia take a breather as he went to retrieve the ringing Samuraizer, which, as Mia correctly assumed, had blue trim around the edges, signaling that it was indeed his that was ringing and not hers. He flipped it open and pressed it to his ear. "What's up, Antonio?"

Mia stood beside Kevin as he listened to what their Gold Ranger had to say.

"That's not good. Don't worry. We'll be right there. Go ahead and call Jayden and Emily. They should be at the Keller Forest House. Alright, see you there," Kevin said, before hanging up. He turned to Mia, and said, "We need to go into town."

"What? Why?" Mia asked, following him inside to change their clothes (they were currently in their training uniforms).

Kevin paused, wondering if he should say it, but decided not to, "You'll find out when we get there."

Mia shrugged, taking his word for it.

Keller Forest, Panorama City, California

Jayden and Emily were in the Keller Forest house, both looking at their respective sister's rooms. Both were there not only to get answers, but also to provide support for the other in case they found anything heartbreaking or uplifting.

Jayden (with shorter hair) was looking in Lauren's journal (the one they found last year with Kevin), when Emily (with straighter hair) walked into the room. "You find anything?" He asked before looking up at her, watching her sit next to him.

Emily held numerous pieces of binder paper in her hands. "She wrote letters to us. Serena was writing letters to Mom and me, letters that she knew would never reach us."

Jayden glanced over at the page on top. At the top it was addressed to Serena's mom and it was about Serena telling her mom the reason why letters like this one would never reach home.

"I'm not surprised," Jayden told Emily. "From what you described, Serena sounds like a very family-oriented person. She was thinking about you two every single day."

"Yeah, she was," Emily said, continuing to sift through the letters, before glancing over at Jayden. "What about you?"

"I'm one quarter of the way through Lauren's journal," Jayden said. "First three entries describe their living situation. No outright mention of any Nighlock, but she does know that they're being watched by them, and she mentions that she repeatedly warned her teammates about keeping their thoughts of and to their families to themselves. She never said no to writing letters, but she did say no to sending those letters, quite reluctantly, she adds." Reluctantly, Jayden mentally added, because she wrote to him, Antonio, and Ji specifically in her journal a lot.

"Sounds like a wise leader," Emily said.

"Yeah," Jayden said. "She definitely knew what she was doing, even if she was only thirteen."

Which just made her disappearance all the more tragic. Serena was eighteen, almost nineteen, when Emily and Mrs. Shields lost contact with her (she had gone to Panorama City for college, after all).

"Lauren also writes her appreciation for Serena being her second-in-command a few times," Jayden continued. Emily smiled, as it reminded her of how the team was now.

Shiba as the leader, and Shields as their second-in-command (and Emily felt like she and Jayden made a really good team).

Jayden's Samuraizer suddenly went off and the Red Ranger immediately answered, "What's wrong, Antonio?" He was quiet as Antonio explained why he called. "Don't go anywhere. Emily and I are on our way." He hung up and the first thing he saw was Emily's confused face.

"What's wrong?" Emily asked, as she and Jayden got to their feet.

"Sanzu River water has been sighted in the city," Jayden replied. "Lots of it."

~B~E~T~T~E~R~~T~O~G~E~T~H~E~R~~P~O~W~E~R~~R~A~N~G~E~R~S~~S~A~M~U~R~A~I~~R~E~D~O~

Kevin tapped his foot impatiently until he saw, out of the corner of his eye, Jayden and Emily come into sight. He immediately ran to them, as Mike, Mia, and Antonio noticed them as well.

"Jayden! Emily!" Kevin exclaimed when he reached them. Jayden and Emily did not slow down.

"How bad is it?" Jayden asked immediately.

"You're going to have to come and see for yourselves," Kevin replied, leading them to the puddle Mike and Antonio found.

Mia and Mike backed away a bit as Jayden and Emily came forth and kneeled beside the pool of red water. Emily gave Jayden a worried glance, which he shared with her. Jayden proceeded to pick up a small twig, dipped the end of it in the red water and brought it back up. They all observed the way the wet end of the twig was on fire.

"There's no mistake..." Jayden said aloud, solemnly. "This is Sanzu River water." Emily leaned over a ways to get a better look at where this stuff was coming from. She was held back by Jayden's strong arm. "Be careful. This much water is very dangerous. One slip, Em, and you're toast."

She nodded, as Mia called out to the others.

"Guys, over here!" They all gathered around a second pool Mia had just found, one just as large as the first. Emily noted Jayden's solemn face.

"This isn't the first time this has happened," Emily pointed out, trying to cheer everyone up, trying to look on the bright side. "We've faced Sanzu River water in our world before."

"True, but that wasn't as bad as this," Jayden calmly retorted.

"And it gets worse," Mia said, pointing towards a set of red footprints and more pools.

"This much is really dangerous," Jayden replied. "We need to find the source and seal it up as soon as possible."

"The last time this happened, Mentor said it was a sign," Kevin stated as Mike and Antonio (with his Morpher) closely examined the footprints. "He said it meant that the Nighlock were getting stronger."

"Speaking of the Nighlock," Antonio said, after his Morpher beeped, "these belong to one alright."

"But we never heard the Gap Sensor," Mia brought up a good point.

"He must be a Nighlock who crossed the Gap long ago and he's using the pools to rehydrate so he doesn't have to return to the Sanzu River," Jayden guessed, and Emily nodded in agreement.

"The trail leads this way," Mike said, he and Antonio already heading in that direction. The other four followed them.

~B~E~T~T~E~R~~T~O~G~E~T~H~E~R~~P~O~W~E~R~~R~A~N~G~E~R~S~~S~A~M~U~R~A~I~~R~E~D~O~

Mike stopped in his tracks. He kneeled down and felt the dirt on the forest floor.

"Did you lose the trail?" Jayden, right behind him, asked. The others also stopped, waiting for Mike to answer or lead them on.

Mike said nothing, yet he looked up after a while and said, "This way."

"Wow," Kevin and Jayden said simultaneously, both heavily surprised at what Mike just displayed.

"Good job, Mike," Jayden praised.

"Yeah, how'd you do that?" Kevin asked. "These footprints disappeared a long time ago."

"The forest is my turf, you know," Mike answered. "He can't throw me off here." They soon reached the edge of the forest and the first thing they saw was a town not far away.

"There's a town down there," Mia pointed out. "Mike, does the trail lead down there?"

Mike nodded, "Yep."

"My tracking program confirms it," Antonio said, his Morpher still out and open.

Just then, a sudden flurry of human screams from that town sounded out.

"So do the people," Emily added.

"Let's go," Jayden ordered. "Samuraizers!"

"Go, Go, Samurai!"

"Go, Gold Samurai!"

~B~E~T~T~E~R~~T~O~G~E~T~H~E~R~~P~O~W~E~R~~R~A~N~G~E~R~S~~S~A~M~U~R~A~I~~R~E~D~O~

Arachnitor was stopped in his tracks by six color-coded, fully morphed Rangers (who were ushering people to safety).

"That's far enough, Nighlock!" The Red Ranger announced, to get the Nighlock's attention.

Mia immediately recognized him, "Hey, Kevin, Mike! It's Arachnitor!"

"He looks different, though," Mike noted.

"It looks like he mutated," Kevin said.

"It seems like Xandred's punishment was infusing him with more power," Antonio added. He had told the other three what happened after they passed out (about how Xandred caught Arachnitor and forced him back to the Sanzu River, angry at the Nighlock's supposed betrayal).

"You guys know him?" Jayden asked, confused.

"Yeah," Mia answered, "he's the one that attacked the Tengen Gate." And allowed Octoroo to attack him.

"Whatever the case, he's going down!" Emily said, lowering into a fighting stance, and the other five followed her.

Arachnitor snarled and growled at them.

Antonio let out a small laugh, "Sorry, we don't speak snarl."

The Nighlock only growled before charging at them.

Kevin attacked first, but all he hit was Arachnitor's hard skin, and his sword bounced off. Kevin attacked again, but Arachnitor was ready for him.

Mia watched as Kevin was forced to slam his back into a nearby car. "Havoc Mode, Engage!" Mia used her Windstorm Arrow to shoot a Flower Hurricane arrow at Arachnitor, who easily blocked it and sent it back to her, causing Mia to de-morph back into regular mode.

"Earth Slicer!" Emily threw her shuriken at him, which the Nighlock also returned to her. Emily cowered, waiting for it to attack her, but she quickly glanced up and breathed a sigh of relief when she saw that Jayden had blocked it for her with his Fire Smasher.

Antonio saw Mike land beside him, holding his hurt side where his own Forest Spear had got him (thanks to Arachnitor), and Mia land on top of Kevin (who caught her with relative ease).

By this time, Emily had picked up her Earth Slicer and had raised it for another attack, but Antonio stopped her.

"Don't!" Antonio said to the other five. "Every solo attack backfires on us. He's too strong to take on by yourself! We need to attack together! I have an idea. You five do your combo attack and aim it at me."

"You sure about that, Antonio?" Jayden asked, as the five got into usual formation, Antonio in front of them, morphing their weapons back into their Spin Swords.

Antonio unsheathed his Barracuda Blade. "Trust me!"

Jayden trusted Antonio completely. "Alright."

The five spun their colored Disks. "Spin Sword: Quintuple Slash!"

Sure enough, all five slashes were aimed right at Antonio, but Antonio caught all of them and performed a spin before passing them along to Arachnitor. "Barracuda Blade: Light's Barrage!"

All six attacks, united as one, hit Arachnitor solidly in the chest. Arachnitor growled in pain, and the Rangers watched as he ran away (very quickly; the Rangers lost track of which direction he went).

"That sucked," Mike said.

"How is everyone?" Jayden asked, looking for major injuries.

"We're all fine, aside from some bruises," Mia reassured him, Kevin's arm slung over her shoulder.

"Good," Jayden said. "Let's go back to the House. We need to recuperate and determine our next course of action."

The other five followed Jayden back to their base.

Ji had the map open when they got back, and they were all gathered around it, trying to plan their next move. "All the red spots are the parts are where the Sanzu River is seeping through," Ji explained.

"Great," Kevin was sarcastic, before sobering up. "We need to find the source and cut it off from there."

"According to the Gap Sensor," Ji continued, "Arachnitor came through the Gap during your fight with General Gut."

"That explains why we didn't notice when he came back," Antonio realized.

"But what do we do?" Mike asked. "He's too powerful. We'll never be able to beat him the way we are now."

"We still have a trump card," Ji said, reaching into the folds of his robe and bringing out an object the Rangers immediately felt guilty about forgetting the moment they saw it.

"The Black Box," Antonio breathed, as he took the object from Ji's hand.

"You were almost done with it, correct?" Ji asked.

"Yeah," Antonio replied. "I had just finished the formatting. All that's needed is to insert everyone's Powers into the Box."

"Right," Ji remembered. "The dangerous part. But now that you're not as exhausted as last time, the risk shouldn't be all that high."

"Yeah, but I need their Power Disks," Antonio said to Ji, "and they're about to take them into battle."

Emily glanced down at her Ape Disk, before walking over to Antonio and holding out to him, "Here. It's yours."

"What?" Antonio asked, as Emily placed the Disk in his hands, and Antonio was surprised when the other four followed with all of their Disks (including the Tiger, Beetle, and Swordfish Disks). "Are you guys serious? How can you defeat the Nighlock without these?"

"We'll make do," Emily replied. "But without the Black Box, the whole world is in danger and you're the only one who can program it."

"She's right, Antonio," Jayden added. "No one can match your skills."

Antonio smiled. "I wish you guys weren't right, but you are. Just be careful." Warm smiles from the other five comforted him, and he turned around and left the room.

After Antonio left to the backyard training area, the other five turned back to the map.

"Alright, so how are we going to trap Arachnitor?" Mike asked.

"The Nighlock have tried to ambush us before," Jayden said, kneeling down next to the map table. "But this time, we'll ambush him."

"How?" Emily quietly asked. Jayden glanced up at her, before turning back to the map.

"We'll catch him at the source." He pressed a section on the map. "Here." Jayden stood up. "We'll split up to spread our search and keep tabs on the area. Once we find him, we just need to keep him occupied, and keep alive, until Antonio comes back with the Black Box."

"Right!"

Ji watched as the five ran out of the door. He glanced back down at the map, choosing to keep it open for Antonio.

~B~E~T~T~E~R~~T~O~G~E~T~H~E~R~~P~O~W~E~R~~R~A~N~G~E~R~S~~S~A~M~U~R~A~I~~R~E~D~O~

"Come on..." Mike groaned. "I want some action already."

"Calm down," Mia gently replied. "We'll get it soon enough." But she and Kevin felt the same as Mike.

Just waiting here was getting boring.

~B~E~T~T~E~R~~T~O~G~E~T~H~E~R~~P~O~W~E~R~~R~A~N~G~E~R~S~~S~A~M~U~R~A~I~~R~E~D~O~

Jayden and Emily's wait was the same as Mike, Kevin, and Mia's. Nothing was showing up. Emily had a strange feeling that this was the wrong place to be waiting.

"Could we be wrong?" Emily quietly asked, in case her strange feeling was wrong.

"The map definitely identified this sight," Jayden said.

"But that just meant this general area," Emily pointed out. "We saw this pool and assumed."

"You're right," Jayden realized. "There could be another pool."

"There's only one way to find out," Emily shrugged, before Jayden turned on his heels and ran from the pool, Emily following close behind.

Neither of them realized the secret barrier they had crossed.

~B~E~T~T~E~R~~T~O~G~E~T~H~E~R~~P~O~W~E~R~~R~A~N~G~E~R~S~~S~A~M~U~R~A~I~~R~E~D~O~

As soon as Jayden stopped, he reached out his arm and stopped the girl behind him, motioning her to be silent. He whispered to Emily, "Call the others."

There was Arachnitor, sure enough, rehydrating in a large pool of Sanzu River water.

~B~E~T~T~E~R~~T~O~G~E~T~H~E~R~~P~O~W~E~R~~R~A~N~G~E~R~S~~S~A~M~U~R~A~I~~R~E~D~O~

Kevin hung up. "You wanted some action, Mike, right?" He nodded. "Well, we've got it. Let's go!"

The Blue, Green, and Pink Rangers raced to where Emily said she and Jayden were.

~B~E~T~T~E~R~~T~O~G~E~T~H~E~R~~P~O~W~E~R~~R~A~N~G~E~R~S~~S~A~M~U~R~A~I~~R~E~D~O~

Jayden led his second-in-command closer to their target, but quickly pushed Emily behind him as Arachnitor turned around. Emily followed Jayden's lead, barely able to suppress a gasp.

'He knows we're here!' she thought frantically.

An unannounced cue brought Marauders to the stage. Jayden swallowed a big lump in his throat. "This...just got a whole lot tougher..." he whispered to Emily, and he motioned her to stand.

The three Rangers revealed themselves to Arachnitor and his army of Marauders. Jayden and Emily both stood there, ready to fight the enemy.

"Don't worry," Emily said. "I've got your back."

Kevin, Mike, and Mia chose this moment to rush up next to them, standing in usual formation.

"We all have your back," Kevin stated.

Jayden nodded. "Samuraizers! Go, Go, Samurai!" They wrote their symbols and flipped them, only to have said symbols disappear without allowing the Rangers to morph.

"Huh?"

"What just happened?" Mike asked.

"This hasn't happened before," Kevin pointed. "Something's blocking us from morphing."

The five looked around for a clue, any clue, from anywhere.

Mia located one immediately. "There!" She pointed to the group's right. "An evil sutra!"

Mike pointed to the group's left, "And another one!"

"We crossed one of Octoroo's secret barriers," Kevin realized. "That's why we can't morph. If we destroy both sutras, the playing field will be evened."

"Got it," Jayden said, he and his team summoning their Spin Swords, getting ready for some un-morphed fighting. "Emily and I will handle the barrier. The rest of you just focus on staying alive. But be careful. There's a lot of Sanzu water here, and it's dangerous stuff."

"Right!"

And Jayden and Emily charged.

Jayden gracefully leapt off of a large piece of concrete rubble and struck a Marauder down. He reached around, striking another, and another on his opposite side. After giving another Marauder a swift kick in the face, he turned to see how his teammates were holding up.

Kevin jumped up and gave a hard kick to a Marauders' jaw and struck down another one, then caught three more by surprise.

Mike was relentless. Catching a Marauder's wrist, he struck it down with his Sword and swung it back around to get another one. He gave a strong kick to another's chest, sending it flying and crashing into a wall.

Emily blocked a strike. Performing a one-handed cartwheel, she took out two more with just her feet. With one circular motion, her little group of Marauders were gone. She was almost there. Just a few more Marauders to take out before she reached the sutra she was assigned to take out.

Mia allowed Emily to flip over her back to avoid a pool beneath Mia's feet. Seeing Emily take out the Marauders that were blocking her path, Mia blocked a Marauder's sword. Then, her foot nearly slipped and she was brought down to one knee. Holding up not one, but two Marauder swords, Mia saw, out of the corner of her eye, and felt the tip of her hair catch on fire.

Finally reaching the sutra, she glanced back at how Jayden was doing, and it appeared he had just gotten there. The two gave each other a nod, before turning and slicing the sutras.

The pieces of the sutras fell to the ground as the Rangers all fully morphed.

Finally.

"Time to take out that super mutant!" Jayden said, his team charging towards Arachnitor.

"With pleasure!" Mike exclaimed.

Jayden blocked an attack from the Nighlock, and then attacked Arachnitor himself. Arachnitor grabbed Jayden's sword and flung the Red Ranger into the hard concrete. Kevin and Mike charged next, but the same thing happened to them. Mia and Emily tried to take him by surprise, but Arachnitor somehow saw it coming and flipped the two girls over his head.

Once all five Rangers were back together, Arachnitor charged at them, striking at them his with his claws, and all five of them crashing to the ground.

"Come on, guys," Jayden urged his team, despite them feeling hurt as much as him. "We can't give up now." Jayden got to his feet, but he knew he couldn't stay standing for long.

"Guys! I did it!"

Jayden stumbled as he turned to face the (very familiar) voice. "Antonio?"

The other four glanced up as Antonio (fully morphed) ran up and stopped right next to Jayden, who sheathed his Sword when he saw what Antonio was holding. "The Black Box is ready!" Antonio handed the finished Black Box and its respective Power Disk to Jayden.

Jayden grabbed it from him. "Great! Time to see what it can do!" After placing the Super Disk into the Black Box, Jayden held it out in front of him. "Super Samurai Mode!"

Jayden pressed a button at the top, and in a flash of white and gold, a white vest (with gold trimmings) was added to his suit.

"You're done for, Nighlock!" Antonio told Arachnitor and the Marauders surrounding him. "I've combined all of our powers into the Black Box and now we can morph into Super Samurai, unleashing Super powers you can only imagine!" Arachnitor snarled at them. "Scared?" Antonio continued, taunting them. "You should be! He's gonna squash you like the bug that you are!"

Jayden inserted the Super Disk onto the hilt of his Sword, and the Box onto his Sword as well. "Brace yourself, Arachnitor," he said. "I'm coming for you."

Jayden charged forward as Arachnitor growled at the Marauders to charge (and they did).

The Red Ranger met those Marauders halfway easily blocking and parrying their attacks. After a short struggle (that wasn't really a struggle for Jayden at all, thanks to his new Powers), one red-colored circular slash took them all out.

Octoroo watched as this all went down. "No! Now he's stronger too!"

The other four were watching Jayden fight.

"Wow!" Mia said.

"So that's the power of the Black Box," Kevin said, before the four jogged up to Antonio.

Antonio held out their Power Disks, "Here! Thanks, guys. I couldn't have finished the Box without these."

"No problem, Antonio," Emily said, she and Kevin hooking up their Disks to their Swords.

"Now, time to show these punks how we roll," Mike said, as he and Mia also hooked up their Disks to their Swords.

"Right!" Antonio hooked up the Sushi Disk to the hilt of his blade. "Barracuda Blade: Light's Barrage!"

"Spin Sword: Quadruple Slash!"

And all of the Marauders were gone.

Meanwhile, Jayden took on Arachnitor, striking first and finding (thankfully) that this time, he was the one easily blocking his opponent's attacks.

Jayden leapt back to avoid an attack, and when Arachnitor attacked with his claws (the attack that took down his team not five minutes ago), Jayden easily parried each one.

"Nice try, Nighlock," Jayden said, opening his belt and placing his Lion Disk into the Box. "Lion Disk!" He spun the Super Disk. "Super Spin Sword: Super Blazing Strike!"

And Arachnitor's first life was down.

The other five ran over to him.

"Nice job, Jayden!" Kevin exclaimed.

"Thanks," Jayden replied. "But we're not done yet!"

Because, in that moment, Arachnitor grew into his second life, and with him were some Giant Marauders and Giant Spitfangs.

"Zords Combine!" The Rangers retaliated (and the other five activated Havoc Mode, since Jayden was in Super Mode). "Samurai Megazord, We Are United!"

"Clawzord Transformation! Claw Battlezord: East! Ready!"

The Spitfangs breathed fireballs at the two Megazords, which barely managed to dodge them.

Seeing that both Megazords had survived the attack unscathed, Antonio turned the Clawzord to face the Samurai Megazord, "Hey, Jayden! It's time to turn the Black Box up a notch!"

"Right!" Jayden opened the Box and placed another Disk into it. "Super Samurai Combination!"

All six Zords rearranged themselves to fit themselves onto a new Megazord.

"Claw Armor Megazord, We Are United!"

As Antonio appeared in the cockpit with the other five, he celebrated, "Yes! We did it! The Black Box combines all of our powers, just like Ji said it would!"

"Just like the Grand Shogun always wanted to do," Jayden added, "but were never able to."

Because the Black Box was never finished until now, four centuries later.

"Nice job, Antonio," Mike gently tapped Antonio's shoulder.

"Here they come!" Emily announced.

The Giant Marauders charged first. The Megazord, with its twin katanas, threw one to the ground, blocked another, and made a third fly, as it and fourth were destroyed.

"Katana Power: Dual Swords Strike!"

The three slashes that followed destroyed the rest of the Marauders, but Arachnitor and the two Spitfangs were still here. The fireball attack that followed the destruction of the Marauders shook the Megazord to its core.

"We can't take another hit like that!" Mike warned.

"The Black Box still has one more trick up its sleeve," Antonio said, pulling out his Morpher. "Summon Octozord!"

"I know what that trick is," Jayden told the other four. "Summon the other three Zords too."

"Right! Summon Tiger Zord!" Emily called.

"Summon Beetle Zord!" Mike said.

"Summon Swordfish Zord!" Kevin said.

"Super Samurai Artillery: Samurai Battle Cannon!" Jayden formed a new weapon, the Battle Cannon.

"Now, all of the Zords are one," Antonio said. "It fires our ultimate attack."

"But it requires a lot of Symbol Power," Jayden warned. "We can only fire it once."

"Only one shot?" Mike said.

"One shot's all we need," Mia reassured them.

"Just wait for my signal," Jayden said. "Targeting..."

The Rangers waited and watched as the screen in front of them searched for the target and then locked onto the three enemies in front of them once the search was done.

"Locked on!" After a moment of silence, Jayden gave the signal. "Now!"

"Katana Power: Battle Cannon Blast!"

The Cannon fired, unleashing the Zords' full power at Arachnitor and the two Spitfangs, destroying them.

As the Rangers celebrated, Jayden said, "Samurai Rangers, Victory is Ours!"

"Symbol Power: Concrete!" Emily used her Earth Power to seal a crack in the Earth where the Sanzu River was seeping through.

Once she was done, she turned to Kevin and Mia standing behind her, both with proud smiles across their faces.

"Good job, Em," Kevin said.

"Thanks."

Mia asked, "Tired? After that long battle, I would be surprised if you weren't, because I am." Kevin nodded in agreement.

"Yeah. I don't think I have an ounce of symbol power left," Emily replied, exhausted.

"Emily!" Mike called from a ways off. "We found the last pool!"

Emily's shoulders dropped and she sighed.

"Yeah? Well, let's see if you can squeeze out one last ounce for us, Em," Kevin said.

Emily smiled tiredly and called back, "Coming!"

Antonio turned to Jayden. "You like her."

"Do not," Jayden shot back.

"Yes, you do," Mike cut in.

"Do not." Denial, Jayden heard in his head.

"Yes, you so do," Mike and Antonio said at the same time.

"No, I do not." Jayden was getting really tired of this.

"Denial," Mike said, a smirk spread wide across his face.

"No, it is not denial. I do not like her, at least, not like that."

"Like what?" Jayden's heart skipped a beat at the sound of Emily's voice. He couldn't meet her eyes. They were looking at him with high admiration and expectation.

"Nothing." Behind him, the other four shared a knowing smile and look and Jayden successfully suppressed the urge to roll his eyes. "Last one is right here."

"I see it. Symbol Power: Stones!" After writing the kanji slowly, rocks appeared in a flash of yellow and filled up the last pool.

"Great job, Em," Jayden said as she turned around.

"Thanks. I am so tired." Emily smiled, leaning her head against Jayden's shoulder.

"Don't worry, Emily," Mike reassured her. "We all are."

"But we can't rest for long," Kevin said. "The leaks could come back soon."

"Come on, man," Antonio lightly groaned at Kevin's pessimism. "Don't be such a downer. We just won."

"Yeah, but I don't like that the Nighlock have found a way to get stronger," Emily expressed her concerned.

"I wouldn't be so concerned," Mike said. "Thanks to Antonio here, we finally have an edge of Master Xandred." He and Antonio shared a fist bump. "You've really outdone yourself this time, man." Antonio smiled.

"There's no doubt that the threat is growing," Jayden said, clutching the Black Box in his hand. "But so are we. We just need to become...Super Samurai..."

As they all shared a smile, they all joined their hands together in a single circle and shouted, "Rangers Together, Samurai Forever!"
