"A boy comes to the Rangers with news about the eleventh Zord, giving them the chance to uncover more secrets from the past. Who exactly are the Grand Shogun?"

Better Together

Power Rangers: Samurai REDO

Season 2, Episode 2: The Bullzord

Sunset Plaza, Panorama City, California

January 29, 2015

The five Rangers ushered civilians away from the scene as Crustor (the Nighlock) was terrorizing them with his gang of Marauders at his side.

"Hey, is this wallet anybody's?!" Crustor asked, holding up a wallet with a charm (imprinted on it was a symbol) attached to it. "We found it on the street!" People continued to run, appearing to not listen to anything he said.

A blue-colored arrow suddenly hit his wrist, making him drop it, and he turned to see the Samurai Rangers arriving on the scene.

The Red, Green, and Blue Rangers charged at the Nighlock, attacking him, as the Yellow and Pink Rangers ushered people to safety.

Crustor glanced all around him as the five Rangers surronded him.

"What's this?" Mike asked as he held off a Marauder with his Sword. "A Nighlock playing dirty? That wallet's not yours!"

"Buzz off, Rangers!" Crustor replied. "You're not the one I want! Marauders!"

Marauders charged into the fray, forcing the five Rangers to fight them.

Meanwhile, a boy watched the Rangers fight, taking great care to ensure that no one saw him.

Emily and Mike managed to regroup in time for Crustor to come up to them and shoot fireballs at them. "Fire Storm!"

The fireballs destroyed all the Marauders, but once they were all gone, they hit Mike and Emily next. Jayden saw the two go down and immediately stepped in front of them.

"You Rangers won't stand in my way!" Crustor yelled before shooting fireballs at Jayden, who managed to either dodge or parry them all, but just barely.

Suddenly a fully morphed Antonio jumped into the fray and used his super speed to parry all of the fireballs easily.

"Antonio!" Jayden called out.

"Let's get him!" Antonio said, before the two charged at Crustor.

Antonio, in the front, parried all of the fireballs before moving out of the way to let Jayden attack.

Crustor, however, dodged both of their weapons before leaping into the air. "I have better things to do with my time! Later, Rangers!"

Jayden and Antonio parried one more round of fireballs, before looking up to see Crustor gone.

Kevin and Mia saw Crustor leave as they finished off the rest of the Marauders, leaving the Rangers to ponder over the Nighlock's choice of words.

"What did he mean we're not the one he wants?" Mike asked, as Mia located the wallet on the ground.

"It means he's targeting somebody," Jayden said.

"Probably the owner of this wallet," Mia said, picking up the wallet she found, holding it up to show the others.

Kevin walked over to her, and took a look at the wallet. "This was the wallet Crustor was holding, the one we made him drop."

"So, odds are that if we find the owner of that wallet, we'll find the one Crustor wants," Antonio said.

Behind a wall, unbeknowest to the Rangers, Crustor hid himself from sight, whispering, "Yes, Rangers, find the person that wallet belongs to. Lead me to the Bullzord."

Kevin opened the wallet and read the name on the I.D. "Cody?"

"Yes?" came the voice of a boy. The six Rangers turned to face the voice, and found that it belonged to an eleven-year-old boy with blue eyes and dirty-blonde hair.

"Is that you?" Emily asked, gently. "Are you Cody?"

The boy nodded, "Yeah, that's me. I dropped that wallet on my way here. I'm really sorry for the trouble, Rangers, but I need to talk to you. I need your help."

The six Rangers shared a look before Jayden stepped forward, "Sure thing. What do you help with?"

Cody reached into his messenger bag and pulled out a white Power Disk with a written kanji – 'King' – on each panel. "I need you to free the Bullzord."

The six Rangers were immediately overcome with instant silence.

But something seemed to click with Jayden. "Of course, the Belmonte family." The other Rangers glanced over at him, confusion evident under their helmets.

"You know him?"

"His family is in the archives," Jayden replied, demorphing. "We can trust him." With that, the other Rangers demorphed as well. "After the Bullzord was sealed, the location was kept a secret. That secret was only told in the strictest confidence to the local Belmonte family. Cody's family."

Emily turned back to Cody with a smile, "Cody Belmonte, it's very nice to meet you. I'm Emily Shields."

"Hi, Emily," Cody greeted her. "Don't worry. I know all of your names. My family is always included in the loop."

"Then, tell us," Antonio said, "why you want us to free the Bullzord."

"Because it's causing tremors near our house," Cody said. "We've realized that the tremors will stop if the Bullzord is freed."

"Hold on, think about this rationally," Kevin stopped him. "Have you forgotten that the Bullzord went on a rampage and ravaged the countryside right after it was created?"

"Kevin's right," Antonio agreed and added, "What makes you think that the Bullzord won't do that again?"

"Because of you guys," Cody answered, as if it was obvious. "You can control him with this Disk."

Jayden cut in, "We can debate this later. Right now, Cody, a Nighlock is specifically targeting you. As the Samurai Rangers, it's our job to protect you until that Nighlock is defeated. We'll take you home. Okay?"

Cody nodded, feeling slightly discouraged but still hopeful.

They didn't say yes, but they didn't say no.

Belmonte House, Ridge Mountains, Outskirts, Panorama City, California

The Rangers (with Cody hiding behind them) came across Cameron Belmonte (Cody's father) while he was chopping firewood. Jayden cleared his throat, but the man kept chopping wood like he didn't hear it.

"Excuse us, can we talk to you?" Jayden asked. After a short, rather uncomfortable, silence, he continued, "We're the–"

This was when Cameron finally spoke. "I know who you guys are," he said, not looking back from his wood chopping work. "My son went to see you, against my orders. Isn't that right?" Cameron turned around and the Rangers finally got a good look at his face. "Why are you hiding behind them, Cody?"

Jayden and Emily glanced at each other (mutually agreeing to stay out of this father-son fight for the parents' sake) before separating to let Cody through. Cody hung his head and Emily gave his shoulder a tight, short, reassuring squeeze, as the boy stepped forward.

"Cody, there you are!" came a woman's voice. The Ranges turned to see Anna Belmonte (Cody's mother) arrive in the front yard with a tray with glasses of lemonade on it. "Where have you been? We've been so worried!"

"You hopped the fence and left without telling us," Cameron said to Cody, strictly, almost hurt.

"Because the Bullzord is causing those tremors!" Cody replied immediately. "You two said so at dinner last night! If we free the Bullzord, then the tremors will stop, right?"

"That wasn't the conclusion we came to, Cody," Anna softly spoke up. "We just said it was a theory. We were going to call the Rangers today to see if they could deduce the problem."

Cody hung his head and the Rangers watched in silence.

"We'll deal with the Bullzord later," Cameron decided. "But Cody, by visiting the Rangers yourself, you've put everyone around us at risk. You've endangered yourself and the Rangers."

"But the Bullzord doesn't want to be sealed away, Dad! He wants to be free!"

Cameron's voice grew soft, "He's sealed away, son. Of course, he wants to be free. But we need to find a way to ensure that he won't run wild again and remains loyal to the Rangers before we break that seal."

Cody said nothing, only looking down at his shoes, as he was unable to deny the truth in his father's words.

The Grand Shogun did tell their ancestors that that was the only way they would allow the seal on the Bullzord to be broken – as long as they could ensure that the Bullzord would be tame and completely loyal to the Rangers, then the seal could be lifted.

"Your mother and I will talk to the Rangers," Cameron finished. "You have chores to do."

Cody halfheartedly nodded before turning and heading into the house.

In that time, Cameron turned to the Rangers, "I'm sorry you all had to see that. Welcome to our home."

After ushering the six inside the house (in the living room now), Anna let them all take a glass of lemonade from her tray, as she asked, "Did Cody run into any trouble when coming to meet you guys?"

"Unfortunately, he did," Jayden solemnly replied. "We have reason to beleive that he's caught the attention of a Nighlock. If it's alright with you, we'd like to stay here and guard him until that threat has passed."

"Go ahead," Cameron said. "Just keep our son safe. That's all we want."

Jayden nodded as Cameron took out an ancient scroll from the mini-library in the corner and spread it out on the table. On it was ancient Japanese text and a sketch of the Grand Shogun, all five of them fully decked out in Shogun armor. All eight people in the room gathered around the scroll.

"Four-hundred years ago, the Grand Shogun created the very first Zord, the Bullzord, as a means to help them defeat the Nighlock. But they lost control of it and chased it down. They found it here and sealed it within this very mountain and told us, the Belmonte family, to guard the location until the time came for the Bullzord to be freed."

"Do you believe that the Bullzord is causing these tremors?" Kevin asked.

"It's very possible," Anna replied. "Cody's told us that it has been restless lately, so that would tie it in with the tremors."

Antonio was studying information that his Morpher was telling him, "The Bullzord's radar is currently active."

"Not surprising," Cameron said. "To this day, we still don't know what the seal turned off and kept on. We just know that it keeps the Bullzord powerless and prevents it from moving."

"Well," Antonio continued, "according to the radar, the Bullzord sees every single Nighlock attack when it happens, but he can't move."

"So all he can do is watch," Mia muttered.

"Exactly," Antonio said. "And if the Bullzord knows that the Nighlock are getting stronger, and he knows that he was created to stop them..."

"That would explain why he's been restless," Anna concluded. Antonio nodded – she was exactly right.

"He's been doing his job since the beginning," Cameron realized. "And him running wild could've been him tracking the Nighlock, just like he was created to do."

"Yeah," Antonio said, bringing up a good point. "It's very possible that the Bullzord isn't actually a wild, rampaging Zord at all. He just doesn't want to be caged up."

"But we still need to find a way," Kevin spoke up, "to make sure that the Bullzord will follow any orders that we give him."

"We need to show him that we work with our Zords in unison," Emily corrected. "The Zords give us our powers and keep us in line, and we Rangers are the ones who use those powers to protect others and save the world. No party controls the other. We work together."

"Emily's right," Jayden said.

After a short silence, Mike spoke up, "Do you guys know what happened when the Grand Shogun first met Master Xandred? I've always wondered, but Ji doesn't have any books on the subject."

Anna and Cameron shared a hesitant look, before nodding at each other. This made feel Emily feel uncomfortable, almost as if that story was left out of the archives for a reason.

Anna pulled a book off the shelf, opened it, and began summarizing, "Lord Daisuke told you all that Xandred was originally a human from the Heian era, but that's not true. Xandred was a human, but was from a more recent time period. He lived alongside the Grand Shogun four hundred years ago. He was a sushi seller and the Red Shogun's best friend, before taken in as their Gold Ranger, the Light Thief. However, shortly after becoming a samurai, he took a life he shouldn't have, in a way that was dishonorable, and Daisuke's ancestor cursed him before dying at his hand as well. His memories as Takeshi were warped and twisted the longer he was a Nighlock, and he attacked his former friends, the Grand Shogun, and the Red Shogun was forced to perform an incomplete Seal on his own best friend before he died. Over time, Xandred lost his humanity and with it, his memories of being a human."

The others were about to ask why Daisuke altered his story to leave this out, but didn't when they saw Antonio slip outside of the room.

Everyone was quiet as Jayden was quick to follow him.

~B~E~T~T~E~R~~T~O~G~E~T~H~E~R~~P~O~W~E~R~~R~A~N~G~E~R~S~~S~A~M~U~R~A~I~~R~E~D~O~

Jayden found Antonio sitting outside on a wooden bench, sulking. Jayden did not hesitate in sitting beside him.

"Antonio, I know what you're thinking," Jayden said. "You're not going to betray us."

"How do you know?" Antonio asked, facing Jayden, some unshed tears in his eyes. "Takeshi was Red's best friend, chosen to be the Gold Ranger. His betrayal is why he's referred to as the Light Thief, because he took away everyone's hope."

"Takeshi became a Nighlock because he took an innocent life he wasn't supposed to take," Jayden reminded him, "and in a way that dishonored his name."

"He betrayed his friends," Antonio quietly added.

"Correction," Jayden spoke up, "Xandred betrayed his friends. Takeshi became Xandred when he started forgetting his humanity."

Antonio was quiet, "What if I force you to perform an incomplete Seal on me?"

"You won't," Jayden's answer was quick and sure.

"How do you know?" Antonio quietly asked, as if afraid of the answer.

Jayden's voice when he answered was not wavering, yet soft and gentle, "Because, all technological accomplishments aside, I know for a fact that you care way too much about us, Antonio, to betray us at all. Yes, you will make mistakes, as will we, but we will always be there for each other, for you, every step of the way."

Antonio was silent as he processed that.

"Listen to Jayden, Antonio," Emily's soft voice revealed her and the other three there and listening the entire time. "Please."

"Do you guys really agree with him?" Antonio asked Emily, Mike, Mia, and Kevin.

Emily nodded, as Kevin said, "Of course we do."

"We've known each other for a year now, buddy," Mike added. "We've gotten pretty close."

"He's right," Mia lightly shrugged. "If we don't trust each other by now, we're a pretty bad team."

Cameron cut in (quite reluctantly), revealing his own presence, and told Antonio, "The story also takes special note to mention that Takeshi was never as loyal to his team as you are to yours. I advise you to take comfort in that."

Antonio smiled at his friends, feeling comforted by their words. "Thanks, guys."

Anna suddenly burst out of the room, "Cody's gone!"

~B~E~T~T~E~R~~T~O~G~E~T~H~E~R~~P~O~W~E~R~~R~A~N~G~E~R~S~~S~A~M~U~R~A~I~~R~E~D~O~

Bullzord's Sealed Cockpit, Ridge Mountains, Outskirts, Panorama City, California

Cody angrily stomped to the sealed Bullzord's location. No one beleived him. Not his parents. Not even the Rangers.

'I'll show them,' Cody thought. 'The Bullzord can be controlled.'

The Nighlock Crustor watched from a safe distance as Cody entered a cave concealed by branches of a willow tree.

Once inside the stone cave, Cody saw the familiar shrine he used to talk to the Bullzord.

"Hey, Bullzord," Cody said. "I'm back. I brought the Rangers here like you said to do, but they don't believe me."

'You have to free me now,' the Zord replied. 'I sense Nighlock all around us.'

"I know how to break the seal," Cody said, "but I don't know how to tame you."

'Place the empty Bull Disk on the podium, and then use the 'King' kanji,' the Bullzord replied. 'Trust me. It'll work.'

"Okay, if you say so," Cody shrugged, before taking out a brush and the blank Bull Disk from his messenger bag.

The boy wrote the kanji 'Release' in red, before activating it. The kanji turned the stone monument in front of him into a stone podium, with a slot for a Power Disk.

He did it! He broke the seal!

Despite his excitement, he knew he was going to regret this later; his parents were going to kill him.

But not if he was able to tame the Bullzord as well.

"Okay..." he took in a deep breath. "Here we go." Cody then placed the blank Bull Disk on the podium, but before he could write the 'King' kanji (like the Bullzord said to do), Cody immediately felt a jolt that knocked him off his feet.

~B~E~T~T~E~R~~T~O~G~E~T~H~E~R~~P~O~W~E~R~~R~A~N~G~E~R~S~~S~A~M~U~R~A~I~~R~E~D~O~

Ridge Mountains, Outskirts, Panorama City, California

The Rangers had joined the Belmonte's in searching the house to find Cody, when they all felt the earth shake.

"That's not a tremor!" they heard Anna tell Cameron.

"It's the Bullzord! Cody figured out how to break the seal!" Cameron exclaimed.

The eight people ran out of the house just in time to see the Bullzord burst through the side of the mountain (it was huge!).

The next thing they noticed was Giant Marauders appearing to attack the Bullzord, which fired lasers from him shoulders to take them.

However, some giant Marauders managed to survive and leapt through the cloud of smoke the Bullzord's lasers had created. They had chains in their hands, but the Bullzord sped right through them.

"We need to do something!" Mike said.

"Right," Jayden said, before giving the order. "Samuraizers!"

"Go, Go, Samurai!"

"Go, Gold Samurai!"

Jayden brought out his Lion Folding Zord (in Defense Mode), and said, "We need to tame the Bullzord, but remember that Cody is our top priority."

"Right!" The others acknowledged.

"Zords Combine! Samurai Megazord, We Are United!"

"Claw Battlezord: East! Ready!"

The Bullzord ran away from the two Megazords, letting the Giant Marauders get in the way.

"Get out of the way, you slimeballs!" Antonio cried before spinning the Disk on the podium beside him. "Claw Battlezord: South! Ready!"

With the Clawzord fighting with two swords and the Samurai Megazord with one, the two Megazords fought the Giant Marauders.

The Samurai Megazord made an attempt to go after the Bullzord once it had cleared a path, but more Giant Marauders blocked their way.

Meanwhile, more Giant Marauders appeared in front of the Bullzord, readying chains. They threw the chains, successfully capturing the Bullzord by his horns.

The Bullzord roared, crying out for help, knowing the two Megazords were not far away.

But he could do this without the Rangers. He was their most powerful Zord after all.

The Samurai Megazord struck down the last Giant Marauder in its way before noticing the jam the Bullzord was in. Antonio in the Clawzord noticed too.

"Uh oh!" Mia said. "We need to help him!"

The Bullzord fired his Shoulder Blasters at them, successfully freeing himself.

"Woah!" Kevin exclaimed, he and the other Rangers witnessing the scene. "He freed himself!"

"I got him!" Antonio spun the Disk again. "Claw Battlezord: East! Ready!"

The Bullzord fired his Shoulder Blasters, and the Clawzord fell down. The Samurai Megazord caught Claw.

"Hang in there, Antonio!" Mike said, before he and the other four glanced back at the charging Bullzord (right at them).

Inside the Bullzord, Cody cried, "No, Bullzord! Don't hurt my friends!" He quickly grabbed his brush and wrote the 'King' kanji and threw it at the Disk, but the kanji broke on impact.

What?! It didn't work! The Bullzord said it would.

The Bullzord rammed itself into the Samurai Megazord, which fortunately used both of its hands to catch and grab him by his horns.

While they were struggling, bracing their legs, Mia used the Turtle Zord to knock the Bullzord in the face, attempting to knock some sense into it.

The Bullzord stumbled back on impact, allowing the Megazord time to jump up onto his back. It reached down to grab the chains, but the Bullzord bucked up and caused the Megazord to fall off and to the ground.

The Bullzord rammed the Megazord one more time before throwing it in the air and running off again.

Jayden reached after the Bullzord as he ran away. "No, Cody!"

All the Rangers could do was watch as the Bullzord went on a rampage once again.

"We're very sorry," Jayden (he and the others now unmorphed) apologized to Cameron and Anna. "We weren't able to bring Cody back."

"It's alright," Anna sadly replied, gently rubbing her husband's shoulders. "We trust you."

"I just wish he'd have listened to me," Cameron mumbled, before taking a sip of his tea.

"We've sent out our Zords to get a location," Antonio said. "With their own trackers, they'll have better luck finding Cody overnight than we will."

"Thank you," Anna said for her and Cameron both.

"So, Crustor's found the Bullzord," Xandred said. He, Octoroo, Dayu, and Deker were on the ship.

"I will help him get it," Deker said. "As long as you let me duel the Red Ranger."

"Alright," Xandred replied, "as long as Dayu helps you."

"Very well," Deker said, fully intending on letting Dayu fight the other Rangers while he fought the Red Ranger.

After Deker left, Octoroo turned to his Master and asked, "Are you seriously letting him fight the Red Ranger?"

"Of course not!" Xandred responded. "All of the Rangers are my kill!" He turned to Dayu. "Once the mission is complete, Dayu, kill Deker. I let you off the hook last time because of Gut, but this time, I won't."

"Yes, Master," Dayu said, before getting up and following Deker off of the ship.

January 30, 2015

The Rangers had taken turns keeping watch all night, waiting for the Zords if they came back early.

Anna had made breakfast and it was read by the time everyone else was awake. She hadn't gotten much sleep last night, having been worried about her son, and it showed.

To be honest, Cameron hadn't gotten any sleep at all. He tried, but it just wasn't working for him. Cody was in danger and he felt responsible for it.

"Hey, the Zords are back!" came Emily's voice.

Cameron and Anna ran outside to see the Zords jump into their respective Rangers' hands.

"They say that the Bullzord is resting not far from here," Mike translated. "But they also detected a Nighlock squadron approaching the Bullzord very fast."

"Let's go," Jayden immediately ordered. "The sooner we get there, the safer it is to say we'll get there first."

"Right!"

"Wait!" Cameron said, and the six Rangers stopped. "Before I forget." He held up a white Disk very similar to the one Cody had, but the 'King' kanji was more digitalized (while Cody's kanji was written). "This is the original Disk the Grand Shogun created the Bullzord with. The one Cody has is actually the one they used to seal him, but it's useless now. When you find him, give him this one."

Jayden took the Disk and said, "Don't worry. We'll get him back."

The six Rangers then ran into the forest.

~B~E~T~T~E~R~~T~O~G~E~T~H~E~R~~P~O~W~E~R~~R~A~N~G~E~R~S~~S~A~M~U~R~A~I~~R~E~D~O~

The six Rangers were cut off by Crustor and his squad of Marauders blocking the way.

"It's over for you, Rangers!" Crustor exclaimed. "Once we have the Bullzord, this entire world will fall!"

"Nothing's gonna keep us from saving Cody!" Mia said.

The Rangers summoned their Swords and charged at the Marauders.

After a short struggle, some Marauders were defeated, and the Rangers decided to turn up the heat.

Mike and Mia stood back to back and drew their respective kanjis. "Go, Go, Samurai!"

Kevin and Emily each took out a Marauder behind the other before drawing their respective kanjis. "Go, Go, Samurai!"

Antonio sent a kick coming at him from behind before he and Jayden drew their respective kanjis. "Go, Go, Samurai!"

Jayden (he and his team now morphed) took down another two before a familiar voice interrupted them.

"Where do you Rangers think you're going?"

"Deker," Jayden growled as the white Nighlock stepped out from behind a tree.

"The Bullzord is ours," came Dayu's voice as she stepped out from behind another tree. Both of their swords were drawn.

"Master Xandred sent me backup?" Crustor asked.

"Yes," Dayu replied. "Now go. Deker and I will hold off the Rangers."

As Crustor left the scene as fast as he could, Mia and Antonio clashed swords with Dayu, and Kevin and Mike took on the remaining Marauders.

Meanwhile, Deker charged at Jayden. Jayden lifted his Sword up to block the attack, but it never came.

Emily had blocked him with her Sword. "Not this time, Deker!" She told him, before turning her (helmeted) head slightly back towards Jayden. "Go, Jayden! Go save Cody!"

"Right!" Jayden said before running after Crustor.

Meanwhile, Emily shoved Deker off of her before hooking up a red-colored Disk to her hilt and spinning it. She was engulfed in a bright red light and when it faded. Emily was wearing a red coat over her yellow suit and her Spin Sword had changed forms as well (into the Dino Sword).

"Dino Rage Yellow! Full Fury!"

Dayu laughed, "As if a new suit can help you!"

"Defeating you isn't my priority," Emily replied. "I just need to hold you off long enough for Jayden to get Cody back. Dino Sword!" The Yellow Ranger then charged at Deker, managing to hit him twice before stretching the Dino Sword to hit Dayu (knocking her to the ground) and the remaining Marauders as well (taking them most). The Dino Sword came back, allowing Emily to get one last hit on Deker.

Antonio joined Emily in facing Deker, while Mike and Kevin joined Mia in facing Dayu.

Bullzord's Sealed Cockpit, Ridge Mountains, Outskirts, Panorama City, California

Cody groaned as the 'King' kanji broke apart once more (this was the twenty-fourth time he'd tried it, and he had failed each time). "Why isn't it working?" He took a deep breath before addressing the Bullzord, "You wanted to be free, but if you don't stop rampaging, they'll have to seal you up again, but this time, it'll be forever."

"Your time is up, Guardian!" The Nighlock Crustor cut him off. He had arrived, proving to Cody that the monster really was after the Bullzord and not him.

"Nighlock!" Cody breathed, stepping in front of the podium. He was a Guardian of the Bullzord after all. He would not fail.

"Out of the way, kid! I'll be taking the Bullzord and there's no way you can stop me by yourself!"

"Good thing he's not alone then!" A familiar voice echoed throughout the stone chasm.

Jayden (fully morphed) slid across the floor, trying to get a closer aim and actually land a hit on Crustor. He missed but he was able to block a punch with his Sword. Jayden stood defensively in front of Cody.

"How dare you threaten a kid!" Jayden counter-attacked, causing Crustor to smack against the wall and collapse for a moment. Jayden held the real Bull Disk over his shoulder out to Cody. "Your father gave this to me, Cody. It's the real Bull Disk. The one you have is fake."

"That's why the kanji wasn't working before," Cody realized.

"Your parents believe in you, Cody. Now, you need to believe in yourself. Now, go on. Tame the Bullzord."

Cody nodded and switched the disks, as Jayden turned back to face Crustor right as the Nighlock got back to his feet.

Jayden and Crustor charged at each other, both dodging, attacking, blocking, and counter-attacking in perfect sync.

They both heard Cody shout, "It's not working!"

"Don't give up!" Jayden shouted back, as his back hit the wall and he leaned against a rock for support to get up all the way. Once he did, he continued to fight Crustor alone. "Concentrate! Super Samurai Mode!" Turning 360 degrees, his super coat over his spandex, Jayden was able to get a dead-on hit on Crustor.

Top, Down, Middle, Last! Activate!

The kanji failed again.

As Crustor tried to get himself back together, Jayden turned back to Cody to check on his progress, who was struggling with the taming kanji. Jayden noticed him writing the kanji. "Cody! Wrong stroke order!" he said. "It's top, middle, then down, and last! That should help!" Cody nodded.

Top, Middle, Down, Last!

The Bullzord had leapt off the cliff, and it was about to fall, and crash to the ground. "Cody, do it now!"

Activate!

The Bull Disk placed in the console, turned from white to red and blue, a gold symbol for 'King' on it. Just then, the Bullzord was flying those inside it to safety.

Meanwhile, Crustor had gotten back to his feet. "No! The Bullzord is ours!"

"You're done, Nighlock," Jayden said, placing the Lion Disk in the Black Box. "Super Spin Sword: Super Blazing Fury!" The fire attack successfully managed to force Crustor out of the Bullzord cockpit before his first life ended.

Cody turned around, grabbing the completed Bull Disk and holding it in his hands. "You did it, Cody!" Jayden said, a white vest on top of his red spandex.

"We did, together," Cody replied and gave the Disk to Jayden.

"Well done," he said, before placing it into the Black Box. "Now, let's see what this Bull Disk can do." Spinning the Disk attached to the Sword, from the Black Box, a projection appeared, of five Shogun Rangers, colors Red and Yellow.

"The Grand Shogun!" Jayden exclaimed, lowering his Sword.

The five projections nodded as Cody said, "Wow!"

"You have finally summoned the power of your ancestors!" Shogun Red stated, transforming the fake Bull Disk into a new Disk neither of them had seen. "Now and forever, our power belongs to you."

When the five projections disappeared, Cody collapsed. "Cody!" Jayden kneeled next to him.

"Don't worry, I'm still awake," the boy muttered.

"But you're exhausted," Jayden replied as he picked up Cody's shoe. He set Cody against the podium as he kneeled next to the boy. "Here," Jayden said gently, handing the boy his shoe. "It's time for you to go home. Don't worry. We'll take care of this monster."

Cody nodded and softly replied, "I understand. Thank you for believing in me."

Jayden smiling underneath his helmet and with his Samuraizer, drew the kanji for 'Home'. "Symbol Power: Home." When this was done, he turned to the new Disk – one that would give them the Grand Shoguns' power. He placed it into the Black Box. "Shogun Mode, Power of the Ancestors!"

As he stood up, gold armor was added to his suit as the cave setting cracked and fell down around him, transforming the room into what the cockpit normally looked like for them.

"Alright, Bullzord. Time to see what you've got!"

'Right!'

"Bullzord Transformation!" After the Bullzord shifted its parts to form a humanoid, the two were ready, "Bull Megazord, Armed for Battle!"

Down on the ground, the remaining Rangers glanced down at their suits (sans Emily, who was still in Dino Rage Mode) to see golden armor forming over their spandex. Feeling a major power boost, they easily took out the remaining Marauders, which scared Deker and Dayu into leaving.

"Very well, Rangers. You win this time," Deker said, as the Bull Megazord was being formed.

Dayu said nothing, only glancing at Deker as he left, before she ran away in the opposite direction. 'I'm sorry, Deker. I just can't hurt you again.'

Meanwhile, the other five Rangers regrouped and watched as Crustor grew into his second life. "If we can't have the Bullzord, then nobody will!"

"Looks like Jayden and the Bullzord are about to clean house!" Antonio exclaimed.

"You failed, Crustor!" Jayden said. "No way were you taking control of this Zord."

The Bull Megazord charged despite the fire balls Crustor threw at it. "You may be right, but even a Bull can't stand up to my blazing fire storm!"

Fire surrounded the trees and burned quite a few, but Jayden and Bull charged right through it. "Well, we've got a surprise for you, too!"

"Shoulder Blasters!"

Crustor was knocked down, but he got back up.

"Huh? He's back on his feet again?!" Crustor laughed and Jayden wanted to end this now.

'He's tough, isn't he?' Bull asked. 'Time to use my final attack.'

Jayden continued, "This has gone on long enough! Bull Disk: Power Up!"

Jayden and the Bullzord both charged up for the final strike.

"Katana Power: Revolving Laser Blaster!"

The great burst of energy that followed was, thankfully, enough to defeat Crustor once and for all.

As the Nighlock exploded and burst into flames, Jayden glanced back down at the ground where his team was cheering, "Samurai Rangers, Victory is Ours!"

As Cody slipped his shoe back on, Cameron said, "Good job, Cody, we knew you could do it."

The boy smiled, "Thanks, Dad. Thanks, Mom. I love you." The three then gathered in for a group hug

"I hope we're not interrupting," Jayden said, he and his team standing a fair ways off (he and Emily standing side by side).

"Hey, guys," Cody said, standing up to greet them.

"We just wanted to say goodbye before we took off," Mike replied, he and Cody giving each other a fist bump.

"Thanks to you," Kevin said, "we have a new weapon to fight the Nighlock with."

"And now you can go back to your normal life," Mia said, placing a hand on his shoulder.

"As if!" Cody exclaimed. "I want to help you guys a lot more! I have great ideas that I want to get started on!"

"Easy there, Cody," Emily interrupted with a smile on her face. "I'd say you had enough action for a while. You need to rest up."

"But don't worry," Jayden said, holding his hand up for a high five from the boy. "We could always use help from a friend."

Cody them the Red Ranger a high five before Jayden led the others back to Panorama City.
