On my birthday
You gave me a rose to
Represent our everlasting love
But that rose has wilted
And the sky cries it's sorrow
The drops singing their death as they hit the ground
I can't remember which
Tears belong to me anymore
But then again, I don't care
Your picture used to hang on my wall
The glass has shattered
And the wood is rotted away
I mourn not you, but
Those little moments of heaven, knowing
That they're gone forever
When did you stop loving me?
Because I know for a fact
That I still love you
