Promise
"… and really bad eggs. Drink up me hearties, yo ho!" Jack snapped his compass shut. He smiled and lovingly handled the wheel of the Black Pearl. He stared straight ahead towards the horizon, not looking back and not looking to his future. The horizon promised his future and his freedom, but as long as he had that promise he was content. Why bother worrying about the things only fate could control when it would all work out in the end? Jack had a complete blind trust that his luck would hold out now that he had recaptured it. He sighed the sigh of a man at peace as the captain and his ship sailed into legend.
