Horror

Kara hated horror films. No, scratch that, she loathed them. She would rather fight Lex Luthor with kryptonite than watch a horror movie.

So how the hell was she sat in Lena's penthouse with the Superfriends getting ready to watch IT? Yes, Kara knew kids enjoyed the film. Even the ones that are younger than recommended. But she was terrified of them… and this one had a clown in it!

She looked over and saw Alex and Kelly cuddling. Nia and Brainy were cuddling. J'onn was sat in the chair looking at everyone with his dad look before claiming he was going to raid Lena's cupboards for snacks for everyone ("You can try, but I doubt anything will be there!" Lena had called after him. Kara gave a nervous laugh. "Kara…?"

"Actually he will find a lot. I went on a last minute shopping spree," Alex laughed at her sister antics while Lena looked at her with a 'do I kill you or not' look.) she didn't kill her, by the way, she , instead, cuddled up to her.

Baring the fact Kara loved this for the reason of she loved cuddling Lena, she was very glad so she had comfort for the film.

"Can we start this yet?" whined Alex. Kelly shushed her and Nia laughed. Kara just rolled her eyes and hid her face in Lena's neck.

"What's the matter Kara?" she asked quietly, rubbing her back. Kara shook her head.

"I'm… I'm just glad we're friends again," she replied in the same whisper. While that was true, very true, she was scared — yep, you guessed it. Lena smiled.

"Me too Kar. Me too," J'onn got back and the film started.

Kara watched as IT pulled the boat away from the little boy; telling him to grab it. No, don't do it, she thought. Kara let out a small scream when his teeth was shown and he took a massive chomp on the boys arm. Lena and Alex laughed and the former rubbed her arm.

"You okay Kara?" Alex laughed.

"Shut up," she muttered.

"AHHH!" she yelled as IT jumped out of the coffin. She burried her head in Lena's neck and started to shake. Brainy paused the film and everyone stared as a shocked Lena tried to calm her down. She was shaking. "Is- is he gone?" she asked shakily.

"No darling. What's the matter?" she asked softly. Kara nervously peeked up and saw the tv was paused literally on his face. She let out a squeak and covered her eyes again.

"I'm sorry. But does nobody find it funny how the girl of steal is scared of a fake clown?" Nia asked Brainy.

"I guess it is a little bit funny when you think of all the aliens she fights on a daily basis. Although one could argue that's Supergirl. This is Kara Danvers," he replied. Alex sighed and walked over to her sister.

"Kara, this doesn't stem from when you were 15. Does it?" she asked with raised eyebrows. Kara stared at Alex.

"…No?"

"What happened when she was fifteen?" Kelly asked. Kara tensed but Alex tried to not laugh.

"I convinced Kara that on Earth, halloween was like the purge. People dress up so you can't see who they are you they go around killing everyone. I told her it was sort of like a mind brainwash thing. Adults are controlled and they go around killing everyone. She wasn't concerned much because she was alien… but I told her Kal-El would also fall victim to it," Alex explained. Everyone burst out laughing and Lena didn't try to stop hers. Kara turned red and hugged Lena more.

"Aleeeeex!"

"Come on Kara. You don't need to be scared of clowns! Watch the film!" Alex then sat down with Kelly again.

By the end of the film, Kara was one with Lena. She had become a koala bear. Lena was trying not to laugh as she rubbed the older woman's back. Alex stared at her sister in disbelief; Nia in amusement. Brainy was looking confused and Kelly was concerned. J'onn was asleep.

"Lee. I don't like horror films," she mumbled into the woman's neck.

"I gathered Kar. I gathered," Lena replied, she kissed the top of her head.
