Happy Holidays From Superfriends:

Accident

Kara had been on earth for seven weeks when the first accident happened. It as the first time the new sisters had been allowed home alone. With Jeremiah doing some weird business thing and Eliza at work, they were both trusted to stay home.

Bad idea.

While Kara wasn't Alex's best friend in the world(s), she didn't hate her. That's what let them to play a game. They went down to the beach and to a secluded area that nobody really went too. Kara was looking around and kicking the sand while Alex shivered and clutched the football close to her chest. "So… you're gonna throw it and I'm gonna catch it?" Kara asked as they came to a stop.

Alex nodded her head and started to play catch on her own. "Uh-huh. But, when you throw it back down, I'm gonna hit it," she patted the bag that was around her shoulders filled with two cricket bats. Kara grinned and jumped in excitement. Alex smiled in amusement at the girl.

"That sounds fun! Come on Alex, hurry up! We never did this on Krypton!" Alex laughed and unzipped the bag. She got out the thick bat and set it on the ground before turning to Kara.

"Ready?" Kara nodded and Alex took a deep breath before doing a drop kick as hard as she could. The ball went soaring into the air, up and away. Kara zoomed off! Faster than a bullet! She felt the wind as Kara pushed off the ground and before she knew it, soemthing came speeding back. Alex panicked and fumbled with the bat a little — she didn't expect Kara (and the ball) to come back with this amount of speed.

You got this Alex, she thought to herself. Alex tapped the sand with the bat and got ready….

CLANG….

She hit the circular ball and yelled as it went crashing in the water. "Ahh! Mother rubber!" she yelled, jumping up and down and holding her wrist.

"Alex! What's the matter?" Kara asked in a panic. She came crashing on the sand and found Alex doing a funny dance and hopping on one foot.

"Shit shit shit!" she repeated.

"What?!"

"Stupid frickin gravity and momentum! That was such a powerful lob and the- the wind carried it and OW," Kara felt herself laugh. Alex growled and whacked her with the cricket bat.

"Hey! Hey! Cut it!" Kara said as she weakly defended herself.

"No! My wrist really hurts!"

"That's not my fault!" Kara snapped, the fun gone. "You're the one who wanted to play!"

"I didn't think you'd throw the ball that hard!"

"I can't tell! I didn't know one lousy throw would snap your wrist!" Kara retorted. "Not my fault humans are made like nests! Bunch a twigs!" Alex let out a growl and gritted her teeth before running off inside. Kara stood there, her arms out wide, and looking at the ball that was washing out into the sea and the bats on the beach.

"It's fine! I'll just get everything!" she yelled at the retreating form of Alex.

"Yeah! You do that!" Alex yelled over the wind.
