They have lost. Everything she hold dear has gone. The ground, the sky, the rivers… everything was crushed and shattered by Her – The Mother of Chakra, Kaguya. The majority of humanity had been captured to become the nutrition source for the God Tree. Soon only a small group of the Allied Shinobi Force managed to resist the wrath of the villainess goddess. But they were getting more and more exhausted as time passed by. After all, they were just human. How could they suppose to keep up with such divine force?
Many of Naruto's precious ones had gone. Tsunade-baasan, Shizune-nee, Iruka-sensei, Neiji, Hinata, Ino, Sai…. Kakashi-sensei had sacrificed himself to protect her just yesterday, shielding her from a deadly attack from Kaguya. The nauseous feeling the when his blood splattered on her still continuously haunting. The mentor, brother, father feature of her life had thrown away his life for her – the supposed Child of Prophecy, the one leading humanity to a bright future! Before that Sakura had given Naruto all of her remaining chakra after treating their wounds. The medic soon gave her last breath due to chakra exhaustion.
Such twisted fate – She thought bitterly. Everyone gave her their trusts, they believe she could lead them to victory. But all she did so far was helplessly watching the world exterminated while pathetically being useless. She couldn't do anything, she couldn't help anyone. Everyone unconditionally trusted her and she.betrayed.their.trust!
Right now Naruto and Sasuke are the sole survivors. Orochimaru was dead so the Edo Tensei Hokages had vanished, leaving them fending for themselves. She has begun to lose hope for sometimes now. What the point of resisting anyway? What was left to fight for?
"Focus!." The thunderous voice of Kuruma booming while she barely dodge yet another jutsu from Kaguya. "Quit your pathetic whining, will you really give up now after all that speech and let every efforts and sacrifices of your kinds to be in vain?"
"There's nothing left anyway. Even if we managed to defeat her. The world has already ended"

Before Kuruma could retort, she felt her right cheek burnt.
"What the hell you bastard Sasuke!"
"Dobe." Without glancing at her, her last teammate calmly stated. "You have changed, where was the young knucklehead kunoichi that would never give up and loudly declared to be the next Hokage and protect everyone?"
Staring at her rival, Naruto could feel herself genuinely smiling, a year before no one would have thought someday the brooding bastard would fight side by side with her again, let alone comfort her anxiety in such a roundabout way.
"That kunoichi still here." Smirking to herself. "She may have lost in the path of life for a while, but the future Hokage will never give up, dattebayo!"
Right. She can do this. When she manage to defeat Kaguya, she and Sasuke can use the Six path chakra to revive everyone and restore the world!
"Kit, Kaguya is trying to release a very powerful jutsu, the flow of time and space around her has become disoriented. "
"Kuruma, what do you-"
Before she could finish her sentence, a blinding wave deafening her senses, everything around her became an endless void. She collapsed into unconsciousness.

Groggily sensing her surroundings, Naruto struggled to gain control of her body. Her eyelids felt heavy, her limbs numbed, pain completely drowned her. She couldn't even move an inch of her fingers. She couldn't feel anything. It was as if her body had stopped working.
I must have died. We really lost . Child of prophecy? What's a joke. In the end she couldn't do anything. All that promises, all the trusts, all-
"Stop whining!" The nine-tailed beast growled. "We have a very serious problem at hand now, stop your pathetic excuses and get access to our situation!"
"Kurama? We are still alive? What happened, I neither could move my body nor sense Kaguya's chakra anymore."
"The last attack Kaguya used have eradicate everything, your physical body had entirely been swept out, but that Uchiha brat activate Izanagi on you so your existence wouldn't dissolve. But the impact of the jutsu was too hefty. Your body couldn't reform, so I had taken advantage of the Izanagi to bend the time-flow and escaped."
"So where are we right now? And where's Sasuke?"
"The Uchiha brat had been engulfed in that attack, no human couldn't survive that, you're lucky that you have me save your pathetic excuse of existence. We are in the void between time and dimensions at the moment, but we have to move soon, the time-flow has begun to erode your body. For now, rest. I will wake you up when the time comes."
"Wait, what-" Before she could process anything, the endless darkness once again welcomed her.
The second time Naruto came to her sense, she could sense a calming vibes of her surroundings. It seemed like she was in a forest.
Slowly opening her eyes, the light dazzled her. She could still feel her body aching all over. But she managed to get herself up anyway.
Where am I, Kurama? Kurama, Do you hear me? – Looking around, tried to find any familiar signals, Naruto failed to notice the presence behine her.
"Hi there, kiddo. Glad you are awake. You really scared the shit out of me back then. Suddenly fell from the skies with all that wound" – Wide-eyes, She knew that voice. How could she not? But how came such coincidence.
Trembling, Naruto slowly turned behind, tears threatening to fall at any moment.
"I'm the Great Jiraiya Toad Hermit of Konaha." That pose, that face, it's him.
Pain forgotten, she crushed her ex-mentor into a bear hug.
"Whoa, there there, young lady, what happened?" Jiraiya was really confused, did this little girl know him? With such distinctive appearance, he would sure remember her . "Have we met?"
No answer. After a while, Jiraiya realized the young girl had collapsed once again. Sighing, he tucked her in the sleeping bag then silently writing his next book.

"Kurama! What's going on? Jiraiya's supposed to be dead. Wait that's mean we're dead? And WHY THE FUCK I LOOK LIKE TWELVE YEARS OLD AGAIN?" Frantically gesturing her body, this doesn't make any sense at all!
Why did she look like a freaking twelve years old? And what the fuck is in her hand.
"Silence! You should be more appreciative about the fact that you're alive enough to stand here and run off your mouth! The reason why your body look like that was because of the erosion caused by the time flow. Since we couldn't go back to our timeline due to Kaguya so I have to jump to another timeline. Lucky that I could sense your stupid teacher, I had moved your body near him so he could help you."
"A different timeline? Like..in the past?"
"Not likely, It seemed we had came to an entirely different dimension. I don't know much detail but I notice something connected between two souls, yours included, find that out yourself. I'm really tired right now, I had used nearly all of my chakra. I need to recover. Now get out."
Just like that, now she was shoved back into reality. Slowly opened her eyes, she saw her ex-mentor on the opposite side of her. It seemed he had noticed her. The Toad Hermit went to her side, gave her a worried look
"Kid, Are you alright? What happened."
Look at him full of calculations, she began to consider pros and cons. Kuruma had really given her a huge favor. Jiraiya was a spy master, he could update her with the current situation, they could come up with the plans to fix the future
Grin widely, she gave him the most cheerful tone:
"I'm fine, but I should give an introduction, I'm Namikaze Uzumaki Naruto, I came from the future."
She could feel his shoulder tensed a bit. Although his face seemed to be relaxed, but she could see his gaze became colder
"Really, I hope young miss here knows what she is talking about."
"I am." She calmly stated. "Now please sit, I will give you as much detail as I could. I will need you to help me fix the future after all."
Despite being quite reluctant, Jiraiya sat down in front of her.

After a long time, she told Jiraiya many things, from the day she was born to the Akatsuki, Madara, Kaguya. The Toad Sage showed a little grief when she mentioned the Amekugare trio. But since the event where Hanzo had yet to happened, he could still save them. Unlike her expectation, Jiraiya hadn't asked much or as suspicious as he should be.
"The Great Toad had already had a premonition about this. The Child of prophecy, the one to save the world came from far away try to amend the fate of the expected future. I didn't really understand it. But your story match up every pieces. The question is: what are you going to do now?"
She had expected this question.
"Truth to be told, I'm not quite sure. I'm a newcomer to this dimension. There would be so much to catch up and what if things were different here? And am I even allowed to meddle with this timeline?"
"That's a good question. I too don't know much about time paradox. But, it was actually the Great Toad sent me to this area last week. Because of that. I was able to encounter you. And the prophet was that you would change the future. So I think it will be okay."
That… makes sense. She feels a lot better now. She had failed in her original world. Now, it's her mission to save this ones. She vows to do it.
"This time I will definitely bring peace to the world. I will do it at any cost." She said confidently, she has to suceed this time
Jiraiya didn't response immediately. She could feel his eyes bored into her soul. After a while, he broke into a wide grin.
"Count me in then. I'm Jiraiya, the galant toad sage of Konoha after all."
Rolling her eyes, there're something really hasn't changed at all. But, having Jiraiya assist her, she felt a lot more relieved. And she really missed those times traveling with him.

Silently, she just grinned at him and nod. Though the road ahead is still unknown. But she is not alone now. She could feel like she can do anything.

They just sat there silently, lost in their thoughts. The time keeps moving. It's time to fix everything!
