Obito feels very lost at the moment.

Right after his team finished their training, Minato-sensei led them to Training Ground 30, where the match will take place. By a far distance, he could see a small figure whose hair was the same shade of blond like his teacher.

That must be Naruto

When they came closed up.

"Nii-san, you come to cheer me up? You have finished your training sessions already?"

Wow, the girl is really pretty, maybe by far the pretties girl he has ever seen, that would include Rin and his clan's beauty, Uchiha Mikoto-san. He could somewhat understand his teacher's overprotective reaction now.

The siblings continue chatting happily while radiating dazzling aura. They are TRULY brother and sister, aren't they? Both of them are just so good looking, and he wasn't the one to bluff about that.

"Hi, I like your orange goggles."

Immediately after the words got out of the girl's mouth, Obito felt his whole body jolting, like the electricity crash in and end at his left hand. Looking down, he could see the words.

Hi, I like your orange goggles.

Namikaze Naruto, his sensei's little sister, is HIS SOULMATE. Seriously? The girl possesses high charming outward appearance and after the short interaction, he could tell that she has a nice personality AND she like orange! Obito really wanted to scream out of joy, he had finally met his soulmate, he had waited for this day to come for a very long time. And to think he hit a jackpot too.

Suddenly, Obito could feel Minato-sensei menacing aura as the man looked down at his hand, clearly not happy with the discovery. His teammates noticed something strange happened and looked over, only to be confused and stupefied. It just seemed like an eternity, Obito felt very nervous.

She is your soulmate, say something! "You look very beautiful", "I like your hair", "I like you eyes"….what should he say? He did not expect to meet his soulmate so soon, he still hadn't prepared mentally, damnit!

"Namikaze Naruto-san, please be on stage to begin the match."

"That's my cue then, wish me luck guys."

Wait. Wait, wait, wait. Obito still hadn't said anything to his soulmate yet! He had to say something! Anything!

Panickingly grabbing Naruto's hand before she left.

"Hey, wait.."

He stop immediately. God, he really wanted to smack his head on the wall now, why did he say something like that to his soulmate on their first encounter? He could have said something much better. Looked at her left hand, he saw the words had already imprinted on Naruto's hand boldly.

Hey, wait

He really wanted to die off embarrassment, why did his first words to his soulmate was so lame? What Naruto think of him, her soulmate now? He had made a really bad impression.

"Now Obito, Naruto has to leave for her match. We can all talk about what happened after you and I have some private talks first, alright" His sensei put his hand on Obito's shoulder, a little too much force, he may say.

Great. Now he has to explain to Minato-sensei why the man little sister's soulmarks was so badly done.

"Huh, what's wrong" He could hear the obvious confusion in his soulmate tone.

Obito gaped at her. She couldn't have yet to realize they being soulmates, right? She must have felt the sensation!

"Don't worry, it's just some private talks between men, right Obito?" He really hoped Minato-sensei would go easy on him since he is his student after all. "Now do your best on your match ok."

"Don't worry, nii-san, I will beat whoever my opponent is."

With that she take off. Unaware of the chaotic and pressured atmosphere she left behind.

His soulmate was just so bright, her smile seems to be getting more and more beautiful and radiant in Obito's eyes, maybe now because he knows that they are soulmates. He could feel his whole face heat up.

"Ahem. I hope you would re-arrange your thoughts on the matter very carefully. We will talk about this after Naruto's match finish. Only after then we will decide the next course of actions, agree?" His sensei beaming smile that promised so much pains and suffers if otherwise.

"Right.." He uttered weakly

"So..." Rin started hesitantly. "Naruto is your soulmate? Congratulations, Obito!"

He swore he could actually see his teacher shoulder tensed and tempted to reach for the weapon pouch.

"The idiot clearly doesn't deserve her." Stated Kakashi, being ignorant to the whole dramas.

"Why you bastard ..!"

"Now, the ranking match for Namikaze Naruto shall begin." He heard the proctor said, wondering who would be Naruto's opponent. "The examiner will be Jounin Hamaki Mimura."

Obito knew that guy, he saw him chatted with Manato-sensei on some occasions. He heard the Jounin is very skillful at Kenjutsu.

After a while, Naruto took a strange stance he had never seen before and leapt to the man position with an amazing speed, aiming for a punch which the jounin dodged rather easily. But Naruto didn't seem to stop her attack.

Maybe she still need to work on her tactics , Obito thought as he and the team observed the match.

Maybe he could help her with her training then they could spend more and more time together like that. Gosh, since when did he get so cheesy, he felt embarrassed by his own thoughts.

But well that was plan, before Naruto's fist made contact with the ground and shattered it completely.

Huh, what.

Obito stood dumbfounded. His teammates gaped at the display. The examiner also seemed pretty stunned at the impact. Minato-sensei looked somewhat pleased, of course he must have known his sister's ability.

But what the ACTUAL FUCK! How could such a petite girl like Naruto possesses that kind of monstrous strength!

"Wind release: Divine Wind." He heard Naruto muttered the jutsu.

From the ground, four pillars of tornados appeared, surrounding Hamaki-san while blow off the whole ground along with the trees nearby. His team had to jump off to a further distance to avoid being hit by the jutsu. It was a terrifying scene.

Before any of the tornados hit him, the Jounin used Kawamiri to escape. Not letting the man rest, Naruto quickly performed another jutsu

"Wind release: Great Breakthrough."

The strong currents came off from Naruto mouth hit Hamaki directly right before he could land on the ground, only to pop in smoke. He must have switched with a Shadow Clone during Kawamiri.

The Jounin immediately appear behind Naruto ready to strike her down as his attack was blocked by Naruto own twin swords and then they engaged in a fierce swords sparring. So she knew Kenjutsu as well. But where did the swords come from?

Break off the attacks, Naruto tried to kick the man down only to miss him again and wrecked the ground, again. Obito gulped. Forget Minato-sensei, if he ever did anything unjustified, his soulmate would crush him.

Then Naruto spread her swords into two steel fans? They were actually battle fans, how could they fold into perfect swords like that? How did she get her hands on that weapon?

"Wind release: Great slashing tornado." Flapping her two fans, a large tornado formed and directed to the Jounin

"Earth release: Gaia wall." The Jounin made a big earth wall to shield him from the attack.

"Wind release: Vacuum blade." Slashing her fans, she created multi sharp wind blades hit the earth wall and effectively havoc it. Loosing the shied, the Jounin caught in the tornado. Soon he fell off and hit the ground hard.

Obito couldn't believe his eyes. His soulmate, two years younger than him, had completely overpowered an experienced Jounin. Clenching his fists. He had to train more! He knew that, or hoped that, Naruto won't look down on him or make fun of him, she is his fated ones after all, but he had to become stronger to be her equal, to protect her, to be a person Naruto can rely on.

Naruto quickly rushed to Hamaki's side and performed healing jutsu. Naruto is so amazing, she is an all-rounded kunoichi, undoubtedly jounin-level and clearly stronger than Kakashi. Obito felt proud and somewhat smug, could you blame him? He got himself a really perfect soulmate.

"I'm sorry Hamaki-san, are you alright" Naruto smiled at the examiner apologetically.

The man laughed loudly, clearly being amused of the whole situation.

"You really are Minato's little sister, aren't you. So young yet so talented. Your sister is very powerful, a Kunoichi with a bright future ahead." He told Minato-sensei as they approached.

"You did well, Imouto. I'm proud of you." The brother smiled radiantly which the sister returned with an equal dazzlingly gin. This pair of siblings….

"And not to mention your beautiful appearance – Hamaki continued." Whoever gets to be your soulmate must be very lucky.

Naruto blushed at the comment. HIS soulmate blushing face was so cute. Obito felt his face heated up.

And of course, he could feel Minato-sensei eyed him dangerously, the previous radiant aura vanished.

"I totally agree, anyone who gets to be Naruto's soulmate must be very lucky. He should cherish her enough to not commit any inappropriate actions AT ALL."

Man, he could clearly hear the man stressed each words.

"That's reasonable. Anyway, great work. You are clearly Jounin-level. You are very adept at ninjutsu and clearly have much chakra to cast ninjutsu continuously like that. Though your fighting style somehow remind me of Tsunade-sama, did you learn it from her?"

"No, I was actually trained by Jiraiya-sensei, he told me about Tsunade-sama's style so I tried to imitate it." Naruto explained with an easy smile. So Jiraiya-sama trained her, no wonder she is very skilled for her age.

"So that explained it. And the swords, where did you hide it and where did you get such an amazing weapon?"

"I stored my weapon inside the seals." Raising her arms, pointing the characters at her right arms. "The swords are gifts from Jiraiya-sensei when he knew that I learnt Kenjutsu." The girl exclaimed happily

However, Hamaki's attention was not on the seals, but the words on the young girl's hand. Crap!

"Hey, young miss already found her soulmate? Congratulations are in order." Hamaki broke into a wide grin. "Anyway, I will report to the Hokage about today match, your ranking results are expected to be notified within 2 or 3 days."

The man took off without realizing he had just drop a bomb behind

"Huh." Naruto just stood there frozen, staring at the words imprinted on her left hand. No one said a word. It was an uncomfortable silence.

After a while, as if she had connected the dots. She directly looked at Obito

"You..are my soulmate?" She asked hesitantly

Minato-sensei obviously glared at him dreadfully at this point. Gulping, he broke into his usual trademark wide grin.

"Hi, we haven't properly talk to each other. I'm Uchiha Obito. We are soulmates." He nervously showed her his left hand. "Do you want to go to Dango after this?"

Wait. Why does it feel like he asked her on a date? The idea was not bad, but he didn't mean it. Not.yet. He thought and involuntarily blushed. Wow he blushed a lot today. May as well become a habit in the future.

Looking at him, Naruto whole face reddened, which made him blushed more heavily.

"I-I-I have plans with Jiraiya-sensei after this. M-m-maybe another time. Nii-san, I will be at home before dinner."

With that, she dashes off at inhuman speed.

Really smooth Obito. First the soulmates words. Now you scared off your soulmate. Could this get any worse.

"Obito." Minato-sensei placed his hand on his shoulder, his eyes flashed dangerously. "Let's have a quick and friendly chat between us, shall we."

"Erm, so we will head back first." Rin nervously said then slowly turned to go home.

Kakashi just smirked at him before taking off as well. That bastard!
