Prologue in Genesis

In the beginning, God as Spirit, created the Heavens and the Earth with His very Word out of the void.

On the sixth day, God Himself personally went down to craft man in His image out of Earth, breathing His Spirit and life into Man.

With the same Words and power that created all of Creation, God proclaimed Creation to be 'Good' six times. Man as a capstone and proclaimed to be 'Good'.

Influenced, prompted and suggested by another, Mankind ate the fruit of the Knowledge of Good and Evil and thus the definition and possibility of something other than 'Good' appeared.

Something other than 'Good' was never welcomed, yet in order to have choice and will, a choice must be present.

Something other than 'Good' became possible. Made in the Image of God, given dominion and choice over Creation, man fell, no longer 'Good' and thus missing the mark. What isn't 'Good' can no longer be called 'Good' any longer. The World itself is no longer simply, 'Good'.

Yet, the potential of choice is still present.

Atonement by blood and the first animals killed for the sake of covering their own nakedness, it is possible to return and set things right.

A promise of a seed and a return.

Plans are set into motion.

Imitators of their Father, Man returned the favour and created 'gods' and images of their own.

Trying to return to their prosperity and in Eden, Mankind created their own means known as Magic.

Means to bend the laws of nature to their will with mere words and gestures.

Means to turn stone to gold.

Means to achieve immortality.

Among these, immortality is the one coveted the most.

Two ways have been tried again and again.

One of these is an attempted facsimile of the Fruit of the Tree of Life, the widely known and named Philosopher's Stone.

The other is a facsimile of Man itself. Their ideal as to how 'God' was supposed to create Mankind.

Superior in strength, speed and mental capacity.

Never aging. Never being vulnerable in disease.

Never needing rest, food or water yet capable of experiencing the pleasures of the World.

Earth formed into the image of man given ability to move on their own.

Golems.

For all the wonderful things in this world, this is not the story of angels or demons but of man and the ones made in their image.

Their creations.

Humanity who seeks eternal life and prosperity in their own terms.

The price some are willing to pay for their own desires and the people caught in between.

This is the story of dirt given form and life to walk in a temporary world.

A lasting figure in an ever changing world.

A golem.
