Hello and welcome to Chapter 6. Sorry it has taken me awhile to upload this, but I have been extremely busy. I hope wait will be worth it for you all. Without taking up to much time, I hope you enjoy reading.
Chapter 6:
Eddie laid on the bed in the cabin. He was finally satisfied, his hunger completely gone. Now if he could keep hunting the way he just had once a day, keeping his own mind should be easy. He had dragged his most recent victim back to the side of the road and left her next to her car. He knew he was still a monster for attacking her in the first place, but he could at least make sure she was found so that she could get medical treatment. Though the more he thought about it, he had no idea if any of his other victims, minus the first, had actually survived. He could feel his guilt beginning to grow again as he thought it over. He hoped they had, even if Vecna was going to ultimately kill everyone, if that was his plan, at least it wouldn't have been him. The feeling was uncomfortable, the sooner El was found and delivered to Vecna, the better.
"Edward?"
As if answering his thoughts, Vecna's voice sounded once more in Eddies head as he addressed him. Groaning, Eddie sat up. He really hated this guy.
"What?" Eddie asked not even trying to hide his annoyance, "Are you just helping yourself to my mind when ever you want?"
"We are connected so that I may contact you when needed" Vecna answered.
"What do you want?" Eddie asked completely ignoring what Vecna had just said.
"I need you to come back here"
"What? Why?"
"I need to show you something"
"Will I be coming back here?" Eddie asked expectantly.
"You still have a mission to complete, so yes"
"Oh...right..." Eddie sighed.
"Now, come"
The ground began to shake as a small portal, big enough for Eddie to fit through, opened up in the Cabins floor. Not wanting to go through, but having no choice, Eddie readied himself to jump into it. He quickly stopped himself when he remembered what had happened the first time he had tried that. Smirking to himself, he couldn't believe how dumb he had to be to have nearly done it again. Instead, he crouched down and slowly stuck his head into the portal first. He appeared the right way up in the upside down, so at least he knew he wouldn't fall through this time. Slowly, he began to climb out without much difficulty. Surprisingly, it was the easiest climbing he had ever done, though it did feel strange.
"I Don't think I'll ever get used to that" he spoke to himself as he stood up straight on the other side.
Dusting himself off, he began to look around. Nothing had changed, not that that was a surprise. The weird broken up, floating house was right in front of him and standing in front of that, was Vecna. Reluctantly, Eddie walked up to him.
"I see someone has regained some strength, mores the pity" Eddie spoke sarcastically as he walked.
"Not as much as I would have liked" Vecna answered ignoring it, "But enough for now"
"So...What am I here for? What did you want to show me?" Eddie asked expectantly.
Vecna just smiled in response, instead of saying anything, he gestured with his hand to the right. Confused, Eddie followed the direction he was pointing with his eyes. Seeing nothing as there were vine covered pillars in the way, he slowly and cautiously, began to walk around them. Finally, he began to see what Vecna was looking so amused about. There in a line, were seven bodies. Each stuck to a pillar with vines, and each face showing complete agony. It took a moment for it to sink in as to what Eddie was actually seeing, but once the realisation hit, he felt vomit rise in his throat.
"Wha...what the hell man?" he choked out as he fought back his sick, "How?"
"Its a collection I started for you" Vecna spoke as he approached Eddies side to admire his handiwork, "I thought that since you couldn't finish the job, I would do it for you"
"But why?" Eddie asked quietly, not taking his eyes off of the people in front of him. Each one was one of his own victims. Each one was someone he had drank blood from. From his first victim Sarah, to the two men from the store, then the four he had attacked the night before, even the police officer. He couldn't understand it, why had Vecna done this?
"Do you like it?" Vecna asked.
"No! Why the hell would you do this?" Eddie almost shouted as he spun to face him.
"We couldn't have any of them ruining my plan. If they had recognised you or told anyone about you, it would be harder for you to move around unnoticed and..."
"You wanted me to create fear in people! You wanted me to create havoc! So what should it matter if they ratted me out? I'm just doing what you told me to!" Eddie shouted as he cut Vecna off.
"And you've been doing a good job. I can feel the unease and panic in the air, but that's all we need for now, at least until you bring me Eleven. We don't need a witch hunt. That will ruin everything. So if you don't kill the people you drink from, I will. To be honest, the unexplained agonising death that comes after you've attacked someone, creates even more fear. If anything, it's working out better this way"
"I knew you were sick in the head, but this is something else!" Eddie shouted with distaste, "I don't even know this Eleven! I don't know where she is! She's not even in Hawkins!"
Eddie suddenly found himself floating in the air at Vecna's mercy as he had finally had enough of Eddies disrespect towards him.
"You would do well to hold your tongue boy" he warned, "Remember, I can easily make you beg for death without granting you that wish"
Just to prove a point, Vecna took great pleasure in once again snapping one of Eddies wrists. Enjoying the scream of agony, he slowly snapped the other one before letting him fall hard to the ground.
"Consider that a warning" He smirked.
Eddie tried his hardest to hold in his groans of pain. He gritted his teeth before glaring up at Vecna who stared back amused.
"Tell me" Vecna began to speak again as he began to walk circles around Eddie who still remained on the ground, his wrists were to damaged to help him get up, "Have you tried to speak to your old friends?"
"No" Eddie shot out then muttered under his breath, "Arsehole..."
"And did you not think that maybe if you had approached them, you would have found her by now?"
"I didn't...want to be...near them" Eddie spoke truthfully through gasps of pain as he tried to straightened his wrists as they began to heal.
"You could have tortured the information out of them if you had stuck to your revenge plans" Vecna continued with his suggestions, "Or maybe, you still consider them your friends?"
"No!"
"Could it be that you already knew where she was and had no intentions of helping me?"
"I knew she had moved to somewhere called Lenora Hills, but then we found out she left...I don't know where she is...I doubt they do either! Of course I'm going to help you...when I figure out how..."
"That's where your wrong!" Vecna stopped and stared at Eddie again whose face changed to one of surprise, "I can feel her presence back in your Hawkins. I know she is with them people and you can help me by going there and capturing her"
"Re...really?" Eddie stuttered. He had hoped that he'd have been able to get to her before she had reached the others so that he wouldn't have to see them yet. Clearly he hadn't thought that plan through very well. There was no way that would have happened.
"My patience is beginning to wear thin with you" Vecna sneered as he made a gesture with his hand indicating he was getting ready to lift him off of the ground again for some other form of punishment.
"Wait...wait..." Eddie began to defend himself as he finally managed to stumble to his feet, his wrists were thankfully mending as fast as the first time, though they still hurt like crazy, "Even if I did manage to find her, how the hell do I drag her hear? She has magic powers...mind control...or whatever the hell she has. The same thing you do! She'd kill me the moment she knew something was up"
"Not if she has something to come for" Vecna smirked, lowering his hand.
"What do you mean?"
Vecna began to concentrate, and as he did so a ball of vines, big enough for a human to be sat in comfortably, began to make its way over to them. When it had finally reached them, it began to break apart. Watching amazed, Eddie couldn't believe his eyes once it had fully dissolved.
"Max?!" He exclaimed.
Max had indeed been revealed, and as she sat there letting her eyes adjust to what could be called light in the upside down, she finally focused her eyes on Eddie when he had spoken.
"E...Eddie?" She asked confused before realisation hit.
She quickly jumped to her feet and turned to face Vecna as she slowly backed up to Eddie's side.
"H...how are you here?" Eddie asked her, "I thought Vecna didn't need you anymore..."
"I don't know" Max answered honestly, "I'm sure I died back in our world...but then...then I woke up here..."
"Been there..." Eddie almost laughed at the irony.
"Huh?"
"Never mind..."
"What are you doing here?" Max now asked him, her eyes never leaving Vecna, "Where are the others? Are they here?"
"Er...n...no" Eddie scratched the back of his head not knowing what to say.
"What do you mean?" Max finally tore her eyes off of Vecna and stared directly at Eddie. It was now she saw exactly what he looked like, "W...what happened to you? Your...your eyes...your teeth...even your nails... Are you ok?" she asked as she grabbed one of his hands to look at his nails, he winced as a little pain shot through it, before she abruptly let it go, "Your so cold..."
"What is this? Little Red Riding Hood?" Eddie laughed nervously as he placed his hands under his armpits as if trying to warm them up.
"I'm glad your enjoying your little reunion" Vecna suddenly interrupted them, making them both jump and stare over at him, "To answer your question as to why Maxine is still here. Eleven may have brought her back from death in your world, but I managed to snatch her consciousness before she actually passed. Only, she slipped into one of her old memories, I've been searching for her this whole time. Finally, I found her unconscious a little earlier, so I brought her here where I helped her to wake. And here she'll stay until Eleven comes to her rescue. Do you now see what I'm insinuating Edward?"
"What does he mean?" Max asked confused as her eyes went from between Eddie and Vecna.
"I mean" Vecna spoke instead, "That the perfect way for you to get Eleven here Edward, is to tempt her with her friend"
"Why would he do that?" Max asked sharply before turning to Eddie and repeating the question to him, "Why would you do that?"
"I er...I...Well I'm kind of..." Eddie stuttered over his words.
"Isn't it obvious Maxine?" Vecna interrupted, taking great pleasure in their discomfort, "Edward works for me"
"What! Why?" Max gasped as she took a few steps away from Eddie and looked at him with disgust, "Tell me that's not true! Your lying!" she shouted at Vecna.
"He's...not..." Eddie spoke quietly.
"Huh? What are you saying?" Max eyed him suspiciously.
"I...I'm doing it so that I can bring Chrissy back and..." Eddie began sheepishly.
"Your sacrificing your friends for a girl that barely spoke to you until she needed help? Your working for the guy that helped to frame you in the first place and is the whole reason you ended up in the mess you did? After everything we all did for you, your willing to throw it in our faces for one girl that may not even be revivable? Did it ever occur to you that Vecna is lying so that he could get his own way?!" Max screamed at Eddie.
"Of course it did!" Eddie shouted back having had enough of being berated like this, "You sound just like them! They were all glad I died, they couldn't even be arsed to drag my body back so that I wouldn't become the blood sucking monster that this guy turned me into!"
"W...What?" Max stuttered, taken aback at this news, "You died?"
"Yeah, trying to save Dustin's arse and buying more time! But were any of them grateful? No they weren't. Instead they stood over my body talking about how much of a relief it was. And you think I call them friends now?!"
"I'm...I'm sure that's not true..."
"I heard it all with my own ears! I'd rather risk it all on Vecna's plan so that Chrissy might come back. She was never fake around me, unlike some people I know. She didn't deserve to die the way she did, once that's all done, I couldn't care less if I live or die. I've hurt enough people as it is..." Eddie trailed as he finished, glancing at the bodies all lined up.
"You don't really believe the others would say such things about you, right?" Max asked quietly.
"Well obviously they did!" Eddie bit back before beginning to walk away, "Open a portal Vecna, I'll bring your precious Eleven to you!"
"Of course" Vecna smirked as he obliged. Finally, the succession of his plan was getting closer.
"Eddie no!" Max shouted after him before trying to run so that she could grab his arm and stop him. Unfortunately for her, Vecna was faster and vines sprang up as they grabbed and restrained her. All she could do now as she struggled to get free was watch as Eddie vanished through a portal and it begin to close. She mustered up enough strength to shout one more desperate plea, "Eddie please don't do this! He's lying to you! Eddie!"
After arriving back into the normal world, Eddie stood outside of the cabin contemplating what to do next. He could go and look for El straight away, or he could bide his time and wait until she's on her own. Either way, knowing that she had the same powers as Vecna did, if not stronger than his, he knew he wouldn't stand a chance if he just tried to grab her. He needed a plan, if she really was in Hawkins, at least she should be easy enough to track down. Maybe he could follow her until she was on her own, then he could approach her and tell her that Max is trapped in the upside down with Vecna! Surely she would follow him then, wouldn't she?
"Don't be stupid Eddie!" Eddie scolded himself out loud, "She would want to know how I even know that! And even if she did come with me, there's no way she would trust some guy she just met, that looks like I do, without telling any of the others. No, I need to think of something else..."
He stood still as he thought over his options. He had no idea how to approach his plan, maybe he should just wing it? Either way, he knew he was going to end up seeing all of the others again, there was no way around that. What he didn't know is how he should act around them. He didn't want to particularly talk to them, and he certainly didn't trust any of them. Maybe he could just wing that to? He guessed it could be a good opportunity to test out his acting skills. He was however, still worried about how they would react to the way he looked now. They may not be major changes, but they were still noticeable.
"What do I do? What do I do?" he began to ask himself as he walked around in a circle, his fingers pressed to his temples. Suddenly Images of all of his victims twisted faces back in the upside down, began to play across his mind, "What the hell?" He groaned as he tried to shake them out of his head. But then, a thought quickly came to him, "Is that woman still alive?"
With out thinking, he began to run in the direction of his last victim. It didn't take him long to get there. And he could clearly see the woman and her car were still in place. It was hard to believe that not a single person or car had passed by yet. He ran up to the woman, who was clearly still alive as when Eddie approached, she opened her eyes. Instantly she began to scream as she tried to drag herself away from him.
"Please!" she screamed, "Please, leave me alone!"
Fighting past the urge to bite into her neck again thanks to overwhelming smell of blood, Eddie approached her and covered her mouth with his hand.
"Sshh" he hushed her as he placed a finger to his lips as of to solidify what he was telling her to do. Thankfully , she listened, but only because she seemed to lose her will to fight as tears streamed down her face. Guilt overflowing again, Eddie began to speak, "I'm sorry I attacked you. Just know that I have no intentions to kill you. If anything I want to save you"
He removed his hand from her mouth and she looked up at him still full of fright. He couldn't really blame her for that.
"Y...you attacked me...Why would you save me now?...What are you possibly saving me from...other than...yourself? If your going to kill me...please don't play with my feelings first...just...just get it over with..." she choked out through sobs.
"As hard as it is" Eddie began, hating how he kept contradicting himself. One minute he wanted revenge, the next he felt guilty about anyone that would get hurt. This woman was no exception, he just hoped his plan would work, "I'm going to need you to forget my face and everything about me"
"Why? So that you can get away with your sick attacks?" she shot at him, "If you let me go, I'm going straight to the authorities"
Eddie was taken aback. Normal people would at least agree, even if they still had every intention of going to the police after. They would do anything and say anything if they thought it would save their own skin. This woman was either very brave, or very stupid.
"Listen" Eddie spoke a bit louder to try and get his point across, "If you don't do as I say, it won't be me killing you!"
'What's that supposed to mean?"
"As hard as it is, just trust me"
Suddenly, the sound of an approaching car began to fill Eddies ears.
"Shit!" He exclaimed, but as he listened the sound of the car became familiar, "Steve!"
"W...what?" the woman asked confused she couldn't hear the car yet, "Steve? Is that the name of your accomplice? Is that who is going to kill me?"
"N...no" Eddie answered as he stood up straight panicked and not knowing what to do, "Just listen to me" Eddie spoke again as he crouched back down in front of her one more time pleadingly, "Please, please, forget this happened. Its for your own good!"
It was this moment, Steve's car finally entered the woman's ears as it drew closer. Relief flooded over her as she used her own car to struggle to her feet. She stumbled into the middle of the road whilst Eddie tried desperately to stop her. Waving her arms, she began to slowly walk down the middle of the road shouting.
"Help! Somebody, help me! I've been attacked"
"N...no...no...no...Shh please!" Eddie begged her as a horrible feeling began to enter his body. He watched in despair as she continued.
"Help!" she ignored him, until suddenly, she stopped. Stopped completely, her voice, her walking, her arms waving, it all stopped.
Eddie watched confused, until the sounds of her struggling to breathe entered his ears. He ran to her side as realisation kicked in. He caught her just before she fell to the ground and laid her down gently, not knowing what to do. Her blood shot eyes were fixed on him full of fear as she gasped for air.
"I told you!" Eddie cracked, "I told you to forget about me. It could have saved you..."
Blood began to spill from her eyes as Eddie heard her heart beat begin to slow.
"Shit...shit...shit!" He panicked. Would CPR work? Or did he have to wait for her heart to stop completely for that. He couldn't think straight in his panic and damn that blood smelt good. He shook his head to clear away those thoughts and decided that mouth to mouth was his best bet for now, she definitely wasn't breathing. Tilting her head and pinching her nostrils together he quickly blew air into her mouth. He didn't know if it was working but he continued to do so four more times. That is, until Steve's car came into view.
It stopped feet away from where Eddie and the woman were on the floor. Eddie and Steve locked eyes, in his panic to save this woman, Eddie had completely forgotten that Steve was driving towards them. Now, as he stared at him full of surprise, he didn't know how to react. Steve wasn't the only one in the car either. Nancy, Robin, Dustin and a strange girl he had never seen before, were also staring at him. From their point of view, they could see Eddie kneeling over an unconscious woman, holding her nose with blood smudged on his face. It took a moment, but eventually, they all began to open their doors. Seeing this Eddie quickly stood up and slowly began to back away from them.
"Eddie, what are you doing?" Steve asked as he slowly began to approach him.
Not thinking straight, Eddie turned and ran.
"Eddie no! Wait!" Dustin's desperate voice followed him.
Eddie didn't stop, he could hear that Steve, Nancy and the strange girl were all chasing after him. Then there was Dustin, who was also trying to follow, but he was a lot slower on his crutches.
"Eddie stop!" Steve was shouting, "We just want to talk!"
"Can you stop him El?" Nancy panted as she tried to keep up with Eddie and Steve, "Just...put his breaks on or something?"
"El?" Eddie was struck by a sudden thought and he quickly came back to his senses. El was who he needed to capture and take back to Vecna. So that was her! Without a second thought he stopped dead in a clearing. In fact, he'd stopped so suddenly, that Steve ended up crashing into him and falling backwards onto the ground.
"Careful Harrington, you should always expect the unexpected" Eddie smirked down at him amused.
"Steve! Are you ok?" Nancy scrambled to his side to help him up once she had finally caught up. El appeared at his other side staring directly at Eddie with a look full of hate.
"Yeah I'm fine" Steve answered as he got to his feet and dusted himself off. Then turning to face Eddie, they each took in his appearance.
"Finished?" Eddie asked with distaste as he got fed up with their stares.
"W...what happened to you?" Steve finally asked, his face full of pity, "How are you alive?"
"No thanks to you guys that's how" Eddie answered him angrily. All plans of acting like everything was fine were out of the window, "As for what happened to me? Are you seriously asking me that? What happened was when you guys left me in the upside down, Vecna got his hands on me, that's what! You guys let him turn me into this!" He had no reason to lie about what Vecna had done to him, it was obvious anyways just by looking at him.
"What? How is this our fault?" Nancy asked taken aback.
"Don't act like you don't know" Eddie spat out, "I wouldn't have minded being left behind. I can understand it would have been hard to get me back here. But to know that you guys didn't even want to bring me back... and everything you said..."
"What are you talking about?" Steve asked confused.
Eddie never got the chance to answer. Dustin suddenly appeared stumbling out of the bushes much to the surprise of the others. Eddie however, had been expecting him and was already looking in the direction he had appeared from.
"What are you doing here?" Steve asked frustrated as he helped to untangle his friend, "I told you to wait back at the road with Robin"
"Eddie!" Dustin ignored Steve as he hobbled over towards the standoffish male, "Eddie, I can't believe your alive!" He smiled at him. Eddie however, just glared back.
"Though I'd be better off dead" Eddie answered him flatly.
"What?" Dustin asked confused before realisation hit, "You over heard me at your trailer didn't you? But how? You were no where near enough to have been able to hear..."
"Let's just say my hearing is a little better than it used to be, as is my eyesight"
"Really?" Dustin asked a little to enthusiastically for the situation they were in. He caught his mistake and quickly cleared his throat before continuing, "I didn't mean what was said like that... I meant..."
"Regardless, you said it!" Eddie cut him off coldly, not even wanting to listen.
"Why won't you just listen to what we have to say?!" Steve asked agitated, "Then we can start making sense of this!"
"I owe you nothing" Eddie narrowed his eyes at Steve challengingly, "I see you've brought your favourite little nail bat" his eyes moved down to Steve's side where he did in fact have his weapon of choice hanging there in his hand, "What's the matter...don't trust me enough not to attack you?" he took a threatening step forward, "Scared?"
"Arsehole" Steve bit as he took a step closer to Eddie as well.
"Well this has been a lovely reunion" Nancy interrupted them as she stepped between them, "But we really should take it somewhere else. Robin called for an ambulance for that woman and I'm sure the police will show up soon as well to search the area. Are you willing to come with us Eddie to talk all of this out?"
"Move it Wheeler!" Eddie demanded frustrated, having no intentions to talk anything out with them.
"Don't talk to her like that!" Steve defended her as he grabbed hold of Eddies right wrist that was about to move Nancy out of the way, he was taken aback by how cold it was.
Taking the opportunity, Nancy quickly and effectively, snapped something shut on both of their wrists before they even knew what was happening.
"What the hell is this?" Steve asked her as he lifted up his arm and Eddies hand followed. Their, fastening both of their wrists together, was a pair of fluffy, pink handcuffs, "What the hell Nancy?!"
"Get them off me!" Eddie fumed as he quickly tried to snatch his hand back, but only succeeded in pulling Steve over.
"Hey! You arsehole!" Steve shot up angrily before yanking his own wrist and causing Eddie to stumble. This continued for a while, until eventually, they turned on Nancy.
"Undo us!" they shouted at her in unison.
"Sorry, but this is the only way, we will be able to keep an eye on Eddie and make sure he doesn't do anything bad..." Nancy answered apologetically to Steve, "Plus, now he has no choice but to come with us"
"Wait..." Steve began to laugh, irritated, "Please, please tell me, that this isn't your bright plan to stop Eddie from attacking people?"
Nancy shrugged in response.
"It is, isn't it?"
"Sorry, but I really think it will work" Nancy answered defensively, besides, we have El. She indicated to El who had been stood quietly watching all of this unfold, "She will help to keep him in line"
"Or kill him if needed" El spoke bluntly.
"Seriously, get these things off of me!" Eddie demanded irritated as well, "You have until the count of five or I'm biting through his wrist until his hand falls off!"
As if to prove his point he kept trying to get Steve's wrist close enough to his mouth to bite down on it. Steve struggled against him all the while cursing him out.
"Stop being a child and just come with us" Nancy rolled her eyes, "We can talk everything out and hopefully be able to help you"
"I don't want your help" Eddie answered surely. He did however, still need to get El to go with him to the upside down and judging by her cold demeanour towards him, that wasn't going to be easy.
"Please come with us Eddie" Dustin began to plead, "We want to help you...I want to help you. We're friends after all..."
"Oh no...we aren't friends" Eddie scoffed at him, and he instantly watched Dustin's face fall and fill with hurt.
"Arsehole" Steve muttered, then much louder, he spoke to Nancy once more, "Where are we even taking him?"
"Your house" Nancy shrugged.
"No! No no no no no!" Steve protested, "He can't come to mine!"
"Why not?"
"Yeah Steve, why not?" Eddie asked mockingly.
"Your parents are away, so you have a free house. It works out better as well as he can get there un seen and your neighbours are hundreds of metres away"
"My parents can come back when ever they please" Steve still protested, "Why can't he go to any of your houses?"
"I'll take this one" Eddie interrupted Nancy before she could speak, "It's because I'm stuck to you... genius" he lifted up their joined wrists to prove his point.
"Well attach him to someone else!" Steve argued.
"If we unattached him now, he'll probably run" Nancy argued back.
"No point when you'll just find me again..." Eddie added in quietly as he looked around disinterested.
"Not only that, but our houses have our parents living in them to. We can't take him back there" Nancy continued ignoring Eddie, "Please Steve? It's just until we figure all of this out"
"Yeah, please Steve?" Dustin added, "He needs our help to keep him out of trouble"
"No I don't..." Eddie added in again, again he was ignored.
Steve stared at Dustin and Nancy's pleading faces before sighing heavily, "Fine!" He caved, "But I swear if he puts one foot out of line, I'll kill him myself. Ok?"
"Oooo scary" Eddie laughed.
"Shut up" Steve rolled his eyes.
Eddie suddenly froze in place and he quickly turned his head to face the direction of the road. Noticing this, the others looked to, they saw nothing.
"What is it?" Dustin asked a little scared.
"I can hear sirens, I need to get out of here" Eddie answered in a panic.
"Really?" Steve asked in disbelief, "You had us scared over sirens?"
"I can't be caught! If Vec...look I can't be caught looking like this...and more people would die..."
"What?"
"Never mind..." Eddie answered quietly.
"I can't hear any sirens" Nancy spoke now.
"I told you, I have better hearing now..."
"It's probably just the ambulance that Robin called" Steve answered irritated.
"There's more than just an ambulance" Eddie finished, "There's two police cars as well"
Finally the sound of sirens had gotten close enough for everyone to begin to hear them.
"Quick!" Nancy ordered, "We need to get back to the car so you guys can get out of here!"
"How do you expect me to drive?" Steve huffed
"What do you mean?"
"You've handcuffed me to this guy!" Steve lifted his wrist and pointed at Eddie.
"Fluffy pink ones by the way. Kinky..." Eddie winked at Nancy.
"Not the time dude!" Steve berated him as Nancy rolled her eyes as she tried to think up another plan.
"Right well, me and Dustin will head back to the car. Once the cops have questioned us and done what ever they need to do, we'll bring Robin with us and head to your house. As for you, Eddie and El, you'll all have to walk and stick to the trees in order not to be seen" Nancy quickly came up with a new plan.
"Nope your not driving my car!" Steve argued.
"We haven't got time for this Steve" Nancy shot back, "Get going, we'll talk about it later"
"But..." Steve was about to protest again.
Nancy however, gave El a look and before Steve could begin again, he found himself and Eddie being forcefully pushed in the direction of his house.
"Seriously?" He fumed, "You better not wreck my car! Don't take forever either!" were his last words before he vanished through the trees, "You can stop pushing us now El! We'll walk!"
"Speak for yourself" Eddie cut in, "This beats walking"
Thank you for reading and I hope it won't take me as long to post the next chapter. As always, feel free to review and let me know what you think. Until next time, bye!
