"Lalalalalalala..."

In a street somewhere in Market District, Kaito walked happily as he was heading towards Temple District. Thanks to his friend Ling, now Kaito finally got to knew the name of the girl he met last night.

And much to his delight, he spotted Meiko's adopted younger sister, Miku walked from opposite of his direction.

"Eh?" Miku noticed Kaito was approaching him.

"Ah! You're...Miku, right?"

"Yes, I'm Miku!" Miku cheerily waved her hands. "How did you know about my name?"

"Well, I've asked my friend Ling if she knows about you and your sister" Kaito said.

"Ling? Oh! No wonder!" Miku said. "I can see that you're a sorcerer like her too, right?"

"Yes" Kaito named. "My name is Kaito"

"Nice to meet you, Kaito!"

Both of them then shaked their hands.

"What are you doing in here? Where's your sister?" Kaito asked.

"Well, my sister has an important business to do, so I decided to walk around the market" Miku said.

"Same as me" Kaito scratched his head.

"Hey, since you're here, what about if we go to Aoba's Tavern?" Miku suggested.

"I guess it's a good idea then" Kaito was agreed.

...

"Miku-chan, do you know that I was rejected by the others girls for 277 times!?" Kaito whined.

Miku only stared blankly at Kaito. She sat opposite of the sorcerer in the tavern.

"I'm so jealous of my other friends! They already have their own boyfriends and girlfriends, but i didn't!" Kaito's face was looking gloomy.

"Kaito-san, you shouldn't be worry too much about your love problem" Miku tried to cheer him up. "I know that there's a girl outside there who loves you in secret"

"Are you sure?" Kaito was curious. "Who?"

"I don't know but I think...perhaps you've seen her before?"

"Seen her before?" Kaito started to think.

"Here's your drinks" one the waiters put two wooden mugs of goat milk on the table.

"Thank you" Miku thanked the waiter as he then walked away.

"But if I remember again, I've already confessed to every girls that I know!" Kaito stated.

"Perhaps not all of them" Miku replied.

Kaito went silent for a few seconds.

"Honestly, I didn't harbouring any feelings for you but..."

Miku rested her head on her hands.

"My sister did!" Miku smiled.

Kaito's face began to blush.

"Miku-chan, you're not joking right?" Kaito was a bit embarrassed.

"Nope, not even a bit" Miku shooked her head gently.

...

"Do you really loves me, Mei-chan?" Kaito mumbled alone as he rested his head on the table inside Library Tower.

Kaito wondered if Miku was telling him the truth. They just met each other since the last night and now they're falling in love? All of this happened very fast, he thought.

"Hey!!"

Kaito noticed someone just slapped the table. When he raised his head, it was Ling as the sorceress then sat in front of him.

"Daydreaming again?" Ling raised her eyebrows.

"Maybe..." Kaito scratched his head.

"I just wondering why are you asking me about Miku and her sister" Ling said.

Kaito was startled out of sudden.

"Oh..."

Kaito went silent for a few seconds.

"There's something I need to discuss with them... about my twin brother!" Kaito lied.

"Akaito? Is there something wrong with him?" Ling was curious.

"He...wants a priestess to accompany him in his journey to Bronze Mountains, that's all" Kaito exaggerated his lies.

"Oh, I see..." Ling sighed.

Kaito sighed in relief. Luckily Ling didn't suspected anything.

...

Kaito couldn't tell his friend about the real premise. That girl might spread the news to others about his feelings towards Meiko, and he will be very much embarrassed. It's not that he refused to tell truth, only for now wasn't the right time after all.

The blue-haired sorcerer just arrived in front of his house when he noticed a middle-aged man was coming towards him, riding a brown horse. It's was Selvam, a postman and he was going to deliver something to Kaito.

"Good evening, Kaito!" Selvam greeted him.

"Good evening, Selvam-san" Kaito greeted back.

Selvam pulled out a letter from the brown sack.

"Here's your letter, Kaito" Selvam gave him the latter.

"Thank you so much, Selvam-san" Kaito thanked the postman.

"Alright, I need to go now. See you later!" Selvam said for the last time before he finally went to the other destination.

When Kaito opened the letter, it was from his younger sister, Kaiko. She currently went to Archipelago of the Great Pearl in search of a very ancient artifact.

Kaito didn't stayed at the outside for very long as he quickly entered his house.
