Chapter 7: Tranquility Now
(Intro) (Storm Hawks updated with Judy)
Terra Glockenchime, the home terra of the Timepulse clock, the primary navigation signal for every airship in Atmos. Inside, the Timekeepers were hard at work. "Timekeepers, we are to the very second." Timekeeper Steward said. Suddenly, Snipe, Ratharr and a couple of Talons burst into the Timepulse. "Hello." Snipe greeted. The other 2 Timekeepers scrammed out of fear. "Goodbye!" Snipe exclaimed, grabbing Steward. "I do love it when they run. Makes our job so much easier." Ratharr said as he twirled his Energy Sword.
"Stop the clock!" Ravess ordered as she walked in. "Who are you to order around the Timekeepers of Glockenchime?" Steward asked. "Ravess. You've already met my brother, Snipe, and my colleague, Ratharr." Ravess introduced. Snipe smashed a column with his Energy Mace and Ratharr bared his fangs. "Sure you won't reconsider?" Ravess asked. Steward backed up towards the main lever for the Timepulse. But then he hesitated as he reached for it. He looked back at the Cyclonians, who each gave him a threatening glare. With no other choice, Steward regretfully pulled the lever, shutting down everything in the Timepulse. "Send a message to Cyclonia. Tell Master Cyclonis her will is done." Ravess said.
The shutting down of the Timepulse quickly spread to every navigational instrument of every freighter in the Atmos. Including the Condor. "Don't be alarmed, but we just lost the Timepulse." Stork reported. "We lost the WHAT?!" Sky asked in shock. "Without the Timepulse, all navigational instruments are useless." Piper said. Suddenly, horns started blaring. The Storm Hawks all looked outside the window to see 2 freighters crash into each other. They cringed at the sight of it. Just then, another freighter came out from the fog and was heading right for them! "Now that could be a problem." Finn said.
Stork tried to steer the Condor out of the way, but the fin on the freighter's bottom turbine crashed into the bridge and got stuck, causing both ships to go down. Finn got tossed against the window. "We're losing altitude fast!" Skyla called. "Okay, what's our best-case scenario?" Aerrow asked. "I'm hoping to pass out before we go splat." Stork said. "Let's review the phrase 'best-case scenario', shall we?" Finn asked. "What we need is a way to get the other freighter unstuck from us!" Aria exclaimed. "Keep your shorts on, everyone! I got this!" Junko called as he activated his Knuckle Busters and punched the freighter's fin free. "Punch out the giant metal airship. Why didn't I think of that?" Finn asked.
Stork managed to pull the Condor up. But the Storm Hawks saw that the freighter was heading for a mountain. "That airship's still heading for a mountain!" Piper called. "How are we gonna stop it?!" Skyler asked. "Come on, Junko. I got an idea." Aerrow said as he and Junko headed for the hanger. They hopped onto Aerrow's skimmer and flew down to the mountain. Once they landed on the top, Aerrow used his air powers and conjured a huge wind, capturing the freighter with it and slowing it down. Junko then activated his Knuckle Busters and used their strength to catch the freighter and stop it from hitting the mountain. The carriers cheered. The Storm Hawks were impressed by this. Especially Judy.
Meanwhile, in Cyclonia, Master Cyclonis was deep in her work when a Talon came in. "Speak." She said. "Ravess reports the success, Master. We await your command." The Talon said. "Start with deploying all squadrons. Any merchant ships they find, they be picked clean." Master Cyclonis ordered. The Talon bowed and left. "This should help remind our resisters who really holds the power on Atmos." Cyclonis said.
Later, the Storm Hawks inspected the damage. "Ugh! This plating's mangled. Fixing it's gonna take forever." Finn said as he and Judy inspected the damaged plating. "We'll see about that." Junko said as he and the Volcanosaur, now named Fenix, walked up. "Stand back." He activated his Knuckle Busters and folded the plating back into place. "Alright, Junko." Judy said, flustered by her boyfriend's strength. "You've been working out." Finn said with impression as Fenix sealed the cracks with her lava. "Oh. It isn't the muscles. I'm nothing without these Knuckle Busters." Junko said. "Come on, buddy. Give yourself some credit." Finn said. "It's true. I'm a Wallop, right? And Wallops are strong and mean. But ever since I can remember, I was different." Junko started to explain. "More intellectual. My only friend before I met Judy was a timid little Gleep named Mickey. The other kids picked on me and called me a Gleep." "He's right. One day, I saw those kids picking on him. So, I marched right up to them and beat the living snot out of them. And that's how we met." Judy added. "But other than Judy, my aunt Eunice was just about the toughest old brawler I ever saw. But one day, she let me in on our family secret." Junko continued. "The Knuckle Busters." Finn said. "I was a whole other Wallop. But I haven't forgotten the way they treated me." Junko said. Judy rubbed her boyfriend's right shoulder. And Fenix walked over after she finished and licked her owner's face.
"Can I try them?" Finn asked. "Excuse me?" Judy asked in disbelief. "These Busters aren't toys, Finn." Junko said. "Please? I won't break anything." Finn begged. Junko looked hesitantly between his Knuckle Busters and Finn's pleading puppy dog eyes. "Oh, alright. Just be careful." He said, holding the Busters out to Finn. "Careful is my middle name." Finn assured as he took the Busters, but then dropped due to their weight. He struggled to use all his strength to pick them up. "You should lift more weights." Judy commented. Finn managed to lift them up and hold them up. "Now let's see what these puppies can-" He tried to say as he activated them. But then the Busters started pulling him around. "Watch out!" Junko shouted. Finn ran into a pipe, causing him to let go of the Knuckle Busters. Junko tried to grab them, but they flew out of the window. "Oh no!" He cried as he watched them fall towards the Wastelands.
"Finn, what did you do?!" Judy asked angrily. "I'm sorry! We'll go down and get them! Everything's gonna be fine." Finn assured. "Everybody! To your rides!" Aerrow called over the P.A. "Oh, perfect timing." Judy said sarcastically. Junko gasped, knowing the trouble he was gonna be get into without his Knuckle Busters.
Later, the Storm Hawks were heading towards Glockenchime on their skimmers and heliscooters. Junko was still bummed from losing his Knuckle Busters. "What's with Junko?" Aerrow asked. "Don't know. He looks like he ate a bad burrito." Aria said. "He's fine. Just lost 3 games of Splunk in a row." Finn lied. Aria looked at him with suspicion. "So…what would anyone want with a boring old clock tower anyway?" Finn asked. "The Timepulse beacon is relayed to every airship in the Atmos. Without it, travel between the terras is impossible." Piper explained. "She's right. Any craft bigger than a skimmer would be grounded." Riggorix said. "So, we're taking ours to Glockenchime to start it back up." Aerrow said. Junko gasped in horror. "Or…Junko, Judy and I could hang back at the Condor. You know, keep Stork company? Make sure he's properly feeding Fenix? Maybe do a little recon down at the surface?" Finn asked, winking at the Wallops. Judy winked back, getting the idea. "Finn, what are you talking about? We need your aim and Junko's strength. And this is good practice for Judy in the field. Come on." Aerrow said. Aria kept her suspicion as she, Aerrow, Piper, Riggorix and the Stormheart Triplets flew on ahead.
"It's okay, Junko. You're gonna be fine." Judy assured her boyfriend. "You know, in a lot of ways, those Busters were just a crutch." Finn said. "You're right. Without them, I'm lame!" Junko cried. "Junko!" Judy exclaimed with shock and concern. "No! I mean you're Junko, the meanest, toughest Wallop in the Atmos. And you're a Skylight Guardian. You have the incredible ability to conjure plasma and weaponized it." Finn said. "He's right. You can do anything, with or without your Knuckle Busters." Judy agreed. "If you say so." Junko said worriedly.
As soon as the 3 caught up with the others, Glockenchime came into view. "So, just like we planned. You 3, Riggorix and Sky look for the Timekeepers while the rest of us head for the crystal chute. We rendezvous at the mainspring. You got that?" Piper explained. Junko sighed sadly. "Uh, sure. No problem." Finn said. "Yeah. We got this." Judy said.
As the 2 teams split up, as Finn, Junko, Judy, Riggorix and Sky reached the landing bay, 2 Talons flew by on their skimmers. "Cyclonians. Should've known." Finn whispered. "We need to keep a low profile once we get inside." Sky whispered. "I agree. The less attention we attract, the better." Riggorix agreed. Finn shushed the young couple Wallops as the group slowly started to fly inside the landing bay.
Once they entered, they started sneaking up the stairwell. "Keep your eyes open. Talons could be right around the corner." Riggorix whispered, drawing one of his Energy Scythes. "I'm really not sure about this. I should've stayed back on the Condor." Junko whispered. "Junko, we're telling you, you'll be fine." Finn whispered. "Yeah, we'll watch your back. We always will." Judy whispered. "Right. Now just watch out for Talons." Finn whispered. Suddenly, his Energy Crossbow was blasted out of his hands. "There's some." Junko said. The group looked up and saw a baker's dozen of Talons standing in front of them. "Shield your eyes!" Finn shouted as he opened his arms. Junko, Judy, Riggorix and Sky shielded their eyes as Finn released a bright light from his body, blinding the Talons. After he dimmed down, Riggorix and Sky stepped up. "Now it's our turn. Time to bend some metal." Riggorix said, holding out his paw. Then the Talons' Energy Staffs moved from their hands and wrapped around their bodies, binding them. "That's that. Now it's time for your bath, boys." Sky said, thrusting out his arms and firing a jet of water at the Talons and knocking them out against the wall. "Good work, guys. Very good work." Junko muttered sadly.
Later, the Storm Hawks came right up to a door. It was shut really tight. "Not to worry, team. My powers will have this door open in a just a second." Riggorix said, preparing the bend the metal on the door. "No!" Finn shouted, stopping Riggorix from opening the door. "What're you doing?" Sky asked. "Let Junko open it. Come on, buddy. Busters or not, you're still a Wallop." Finn said. Junko looked at his fists. "I…can't." He said. "Uh, why can't you?" Riggorix asked. "Yeah. Don't you have your Knuckle Busters?" Sky asked. "No. Not anymore." Junko said sadly. "You don't? What happened to them?" Riggorix asked. "Well, you see, the funny thing about that is-" Finn started to say, but Judy interrupted. "Finn lost my boyfriend's Knuckle Busters before we came here." Judy said. "YOU DID WHAT?!" Riggorix asked angrily. "It was an accident! I just wanted to try them out!" Finn cried. "Oh, I'm gonna rip you apart for costing us an advantage!" Riggorix exclaimed, bearing out his claws. "Guys, we don't have time to argue about this! More Talons are coming this way!" Sky interrupted, pointing to 3 more Talons walking towards them. Judy looked at the door and got an idea. "Get clear!" She called as she grabbed the door and started pulling on it. And just then, she completely tore it off and tossed it at the Talons as they got knocked off their feet. The others were surprised by this. "What? We don't have all day." Judy said as she continued. "Whoa. I never knew she was so strong." Junko said as they followed her.
Meanwhile, after tying up Steward, Ravess, Snipe and Ratharr contacted Master Cyclonis. "Master Cyclonis, I assure you, the Timepulse is secure. Even if the Storm Hawks could travel here, this tower cannot be taken!" Ravess said. Just then, they heard a crash from outside. "What was that sound?" Master Cyclonis asked through the radio. "Uh, nothing! Merely my dear brother, Snipe." Ravess lied. "That wasn't me! It must've been-" Snipe tried to say, but Ratharr shut him up by putting a bucket over his head. "Ah! Must be…bad connection! Can't hear you!" Ravess exclaimed as she hanged up. "The Storm Hawks are here. I can smell them." Ratharr said, sniffing the scent. "Snipe! Get your mace, genius! We have visitors!" Ravess exclaimed.
Meanwhile, Aerrow, Aria, Radarr, Mimi, Piper, Skyler and Skyla were driving towards the crystal chute. "What makes you think the crystal chute is unguarded?" Aerrow asked. "I bet the Talons don't even know it's even here." Piper said. "Well, you just lost that bet. Look." Skyla said, pointing around the corner. 3 Talons were guarding the crystal chutes. "What now?" Skyler asked. "Skyler, Radarr and I will draw them off." Aerrow said. "Right. We'll head up the crystal chute and find the Timekeepers." Aria said. "Good luck, Aerrow." Piper said. "You too, Skyler." Skyla said to her eldest brother.
As the Talons chatted, Aerrow, Radarr and Skyler drove right into their sight. "Hey! Cyclonia stinks!" Aerrow called. "Yeah! You guys are worse than a hive of skunk-wasps!" Skyler called. Radarr blew a raspberry as Aerrow and Skyler took off on their skimmers. "Get them!" One of the Talons ordered and they took off after them, giving Piper, Aria, Skyla and Mimi the perfect chance to sneak up the crystal chute.
As the Talons chased after them, Aerrow and Skyler saw that they were driving up to an opening. "Radarr, wings!" Aerrow called. "Oh boy. Here we go." Radarr said, popping open the wings as they flew into the gear works with Skyler following. The Talons continued to pursue them. One of them caught up to them and flew up beside Aerrow with a wicked grin. Radarr grinned back and pointed ahead of them. The Talon looked ahead and saw that he was about to fly into a pendulum. He screamed just as he hit it. "And then there were 2." Skyler said. As the last 2 Talons pursued them, Aerrow and Skyler looped around and attacked with their elemental powers. Aerrow motioned his arm and created a powerful cyclone, blowing the first Talon off his skimmer. Then Skyler created a flaming sword in his hand, leapt at the second Talon and sliced his skimmer in half. "Good job, Skyler." Aerrow said. "You too, Aerrow." Skyler said as the Talons landed in a couple of springs.
But then, more Talons came through the pipes. "Skyler, I think it's time to try out the new combo we've been working on." Aerrow said. "I like the way you think, Aerrow." Skyler said. Aerrow started motioning his arms and created an even bigger cyclone. Then Skyler fired a stream of fire from his hands and engulfed the cyclone with it. The Talons screamed and braced themselves as the fiery cyclone blew towards them.
Meanwhile, Piper, Aria, Skyla and Mimi made it to the top of the tower where Steward was struggling to get free. They crept over to Steward and shushed him. "Freeze!" A voice yelled. The girls turned in surprise to see a couple Talon guards walking towards them. Piper, seeing her chance to try a new trick, thrusted her arm out. And suddenly, the Talons became encased in a couple giant crystals. Aria, Skyla, Mimi and Steward were surprised by this. "Nice move, huh?" Piper asked.
After freeing Steward, the girls started pushing the giant gear, trying to get it to move. "We have to hurry! If we can give the Timing Wheel a good push!" Piper exclaimed. "She's right! If we do that, we can get the Timepulse working again!" Skyla exclaimed. Steward just started laughing hysterically. "That's crazy! 10 Timekeepers it takes to turn the Timing Wheel." He explained. "Come on! Push!" Aria shouted. And the girls all started pushing the wheel as hard as they could. Steward was deadpanned and confused by this, but decided to join in. But as they began to push, a transmission came in on the radio. "Girls, you there? It's me, Sky!" Sky called through the radio. Skyla ran over to answer. "Sky! We're in the tower. Where are you guys?" She asked as she answered. "We're in the hallway on the other side of the wall. Listen for Rigg knocking against it." Sky said. The girls listened as Riggorix started knocking against the wall. "Alright. I got just the trick for this." Skyla said as she walked up to the wall. Then she put her hands on the wall and broke it down, creating a big hole. Steward was surprised by this. "Oh yeah. We all got our quirks." Aria said.
And then, Finn's team came in through. "Great timing, guys. We could use your help." Skyla said. "We have to get the Timing Wheel moving in order to restart the Timepulse." Piper explained. "No problem. I can do it." Judy said as she stepped up. "Watch this. She's wicked strong." Sky whispered to Aria and Mimi. Judy took hold of the Timing Wheel and began to push with all her strength. But she couldn't move it either. Finn, Riggorix and Sky were confused by this. "I'm sorry, guys. It's too much for one Wallop." Judy said. "Junko, Judy needs your help." Piper said. "Why? I'm not strong enough to help." Junko said, sulking in a corner. "What's wrong with Junko?" Aria asked. "He's in the doubt department because somebody was being an idiot and lost his Knuckle Busters!" Riggorix exclaimed loudly in Finn's ear. "Oh, Finn." Piper groaned. "It was an accident!" Finn spat in Riggorix's good eye.
Judy walked over to her boyfriend. "Junko, please. I know you have the Wallop strength inside you. Please. I need your help." She said. "Looks like you could all use a little help." Ravess' voice said. Everyone turned to see her, Snipe, Ratharr and another squad of Talons. Riggorix snarled at the unwelcome sight of his traitorous brother.
Meanwhile, Aerrow, Radarr and Skyler were being chased by another Talon squad. The Talons were firing their skimmers' Energy Cannons at them. Aerrow and Skyler dodged them as they saw a light at the end. "Finally! The way out!" Aerrow exclaimed. "But what about them? We can't let them follow us out!" Skyler called. Radarr looked around and saw a lever near the exit. "Don't worry, guys. I got this." He said. Then he pulled out a spatula and tossed it at the lever. As it moved, the exit began to shut. Aerrow and Skyler sped up their skimmers and managed to squeeze out of the exit before it closed. But the Talons weren't so lucky. They screamed as they crashed into the door, denting it in the process. "Nice move." Aerrow said. "Yeah, you got some skills there, Radarr." Skyler said. "Meh. I try." Radarr said.
Meanwhile, Snipe walked up to them and drew his Energy Mace. "It's only fair I warn you. These are the meanest, strongest, toughest Wallops of them all." Finn warned. Judy grinned as she pounder her fist and cracked her knuckles. But Snipe wasn't fazed. He raised his Energy Mace and smashed the chair Steward was strapped in. "Let's show this clod what we can do, Junko." Judy said, ready to fight. "I give up." Junko said, raising his hands in surrender. The Storm Hawks looked at him in shock. "Junko, no." Judy said. Junko just smiled sheepishly.
"At least you could've bluffed a little. You know, a roar or something." Finn said. "Junko, we can take these guys easy." Judy said. "Sorry, Judy. I'm just not the Wallop you guys think I am. I'm no match for these guys." Junko said as he hid and sulked behind Finn. "Are you being serious right now?" Riggorix asked. "Thought we'd take a little trip to Cyclonia. A one-way trip!" Ravess said. "Or we could just smoosh 'em!" Snipe suggested. "I'd rather just maul their faces off. Starting with my treasonous brother!" Ratharr snarled. "But first thing's first. Give us the Heart of Atmos!" Ravess demanded, holding out her hand. The Storm Hawks all looked at each other. "Uh, I don't know if you noticed, Rave. We don't have it." Aria said mockingly. "Don't have it!? Then who has it?!" Ravess asked as Snipe prepared his Energy Mace and Ratharr bared his fangs.
Just then, there was a motor sound coming from the other side of the clock. "My brother has it." Aria said. And just like that, Aerrow, Skyler and Radarr burst right through the glass and hopped off their skimmers. Ravess, Snipe and Ratharr looked on in shock as the skimmers skidded right into them. Aerrow, Radarr and Skyler landed gracefully in front of their team. "Perfect timing." Piper said. "Like clockwork." Aerrow said. "Don't just stand there! Attack!" Ravess ordered as she, Snipe and Ratharr recovered. As the Talons charged, Aerrow took off his scarf and revealed the Heart of Atmos. "Skylight Unite!" He yelled. And with a blinding flash of light, the Storm Hawks transformed into the Skylight Guardians, except for Judy as she has yet to become one soon. Ratharr's jaw dropped with shock at the look of Riggorix's human form. "It's true! Our Skylight Guardians have returned!" Steward exclaimed in shock.
Aerrow unleashed an air wave, blowing the Talons away. Finn and Ravess got into a standoff. "Go ahead. Try me." Finn dared. They both fired at the same time. But Ravess' arrow overpowered Finn's and knocked his Energy Crossbow out of his hands. "Alright. You wanna play that way?" Finn asked, gripping his fist. And just then, a bow made out of light appeared in his hand. He then held it up and drew back the string, creating a light arrow. Ravess was shocked by this. "Bring it." Finn said, firing the arrow. Ravess fired another of her arrows. But the light arrow burned right through it and struck Ravess, knocking her off her feet and into the wall. "Ow." Ravess moaned before she fell unconscious. Then Finn looked over to Aria and Piper, who had just knocked down some Talons. "Nice work, Finn." Aria said, giving him a thumb's up.
"Can't we just talk this out?" Junko asked as Snipe held him up. "Snipe doesn't talk! Snipe only smashes!" Snipe exclaimed, tossing poor Junko into the wall. Junko started to recover, but Snipe walked right back up to him. But then Judy stepped in the way. "Leave him alone, you bully!" She growled. "Snipe doesn't take orders from little girl!" Snipe exclaimed, taking his stance. "Well, I guess there's a first time for everything." Judy said, preparing to fight.
Meanwhile, a whole army of Talons was chasing Radarr and Mimi right up the stairs. Radarr and Mimi stopped and prepared to fight. But the Talons only laughed at this. "Surf's up, dudes!" Sky called. Radarr, Mimi and the Talons looked up to see him coming at them while riding a huge wave. "Oh no." The Talon up front whimpered as Sky splashed them with wave. "Aerrow! Your turn!" Sky called. "Time to cool off!" Aerrow exclaimed as he flew up and fired a gust of nice cool wind at the soaked Talons. The wind was so cold, it froze the water, which thereby, froze the Talons too. "Well, that should chill them out." Radarr punned, making Mimi laugh.
Meanwhile, Ratharr was trying to slash Riggorix with his Energy Sword. But Riggorix kept dodging each slash. "I gotta say, brother. I'd never thought you'd look more…hideous as a human." Ratharr joked. "Oh, sure. Go ahead. Make jokes. But it won't be enough thanks to a few tricks I've learned." Riggorix said. "And what tricks with those be, dear brother?" Ratharr asked. "This!" Riggorix exclaimed, holding out his hand and creating a ball of liquid metal. Ratharr was confused by this. But then, Riggorix transformed it into a metal club. Then he took the club and whammed his brother on the head, knocking him out. "Now that's what I call a header." Riggorix said, twirling the club.
While fighting Judy, Snipe tore off a gear and tossed it at her, knocking her over to Piper and Aria. Just then, the floor gave and sent the 3 girls falling down a hole. "JUDY! ARIA! PIPER!" Junko cried. But then Snipe grabbed him and threw him into the wall.
Piper and Aria recovered after they landed on a staircase. "Judy! Are you alright?" Aria asked. "Yeah. I think I'm okay. For now, at least." Judy said as she held onto a pendulum. "But it looks like you girls aren't doing so well yourselves." Piper and Aria saw that the stairs were in different pieces. "Ha! Not a problem." Aria said with a smile. Piper smiled back, knowing what she was thinking. Judy was confused.
Snipe delivered a big uppercut, knocking poor Junko down again. "Junko! It was never the Knuckle Busters that gave you your strength! It was you!" Finn exclaimed. "You're just saying that to make me feel better for your accident." Junko sulked. "No, Junko!" Judy called as Piper and Aria flew her back up. "Finn's right! You don't need your Busters! You never did! Think about it!" But Junko couldn't as Snipe marched right up to him. "You pathetic! A waste! Look at you! Cowering like a tiny little Gleep!" Snipe exclaimed. That one word caught Junko's attention. "What did you call me?" He asked. "You heard me. I called you a Gleep. Gleep! Gleep! Gleep!" Snipe mocked. Junko's memory flashed back to when the Wallop kids called him a Gleep. And boy, it was making him mad. "I never Gleeps." Snipe said, preparing to finish Junko off. But as he delivered the finishing blow with his Energy Mace, to his shock, Junko caught the Mace and crushed it in his bare hand. Then Junko stood up, coated his knuckles in plasma and punched Snipe really hard, sending him into the wall. Snipe quickly recovered and saw Junko walking right up to him. He shouted as he got up and started throwing punches. But Junko dodged each punch and gave another powerful punch, knocking Snipe all around the clock and down to the ground. Steward looked on in horror, worried about the damage that might be done to the Timepulse. "My clock! You have to stop them!" He cried. "I'm not getting in the way of that." Finn said. "Me neither." Judy said.
As Junko punched Snipe into another wall, he walked up to the Cyclonian general, grabbed him and held him up. "I need to thank you." He said. "For what?" Snipe asked. "I really learned something today. I like Gleeps. You, not so much." Junko said. Snipe whimpered as he braced for what was coming. Finn and Judy cringed as Junko gave one last mighty punch, sending Snipe out on a spring and making him like a cuckoo bird. Finn and Judy were amazed by Junko's strength. "See? We told you. You didn't need those Knuckle Busters after all." Finn said. "Yeah. You were the Wallop I always knew you were." Judy said. "Yeah. I can bust my own knuckles. Especially with these new Plasma Busters." Junko said as Ravess and Ratharr retrieved Snipe and retreated. By then, the rest of the team regrouped. "What happened?" Skyla asked, noticing all the damage. "What else? They got Walloped." Finn said. Junko smiled sheepishly.
Later, after the Skylight Guardians returned to their normal Storm Hawks form, Junko and Judy used their combined Wallop strength to get the Timing Wheel turning again. "Good, good, good!" Steward cheered. Junko sheepishly smiled as Finn winked at him. Judy even kissed her boyfriend's cheek out of pride. With the gears turning again, the Timepulse started back up. Thereby, restarting all of the navigation instruments on the airships. Even the one on the Condor was back up. Stork watched as 2 freighters flew past each other. "Whew! That could've been worse. Much, much worse." He said with his paranoid smile.
Later, after Aerrow restored the tower's damage with the Heart of Atmos, back on the Condor, Finn, having found the Knuckle Busters in the Wastelands, returned them to Junko. "Aw! You really didn't need to go through all that trouble." Junko said. "Are you kidding? It was no trouble at all. Except for the Scorpion-Flies and Elephant-Ants." Finn said, shuddering from the memories. "But luckily, Aerrow had the Heart of Atmos heal me when I got back." "Well, it's good to know that I don't need these things all the time." Junko said. "Yeah. But they sure do look cool." Finn said. Junko smiled as he activated the Busters. "Yeah. Thanks, Finn." He said. Finn gave a thumb's up.
Meanwhile, at Cyclonia, Master Cyclonis was not very pleased when Ravess, Snipe and Ratharr reported back with their failure. "Failure has consequences. Terrible consequences. Not only did you lose the Timepulse, you have also failed again to bring me the Heart of Atmos." She said venomously. Ravess, Snipe and Ratharr lowered their heads in shame. Cyclonis held out a crystal and used its powers to painfully levitate them from the ground. Then she dropped them back onto the floor. The hard way. "Am I clear?" She asked. "Yes, Master Cyclonis." Ravess said. "These Storm Hawks are becoming a problem. Especially with the Heart of Atmos." Cyclonis said. "Give us another chance." Ratharr said. "No. The Dark Ace will deal with them later. Right now, it's time to take closer observation. Close enough so that I may take the Heart of Atmos…personally." Cyclonis said, coming up with her next plan. Little did they know, someone was listening from the shadows.
Whoa! Wasn't that amazing? The Cyclonians attempt to take control of the Timepulse of Glockenchime to achieve control of the Atmos. And on they way, Finn loses Junko's Knuckle Busters.
