She smiles. At Tsunade and at Kakashi, even at Iruka, when she sees him in the street, looking longingly at the ramen stand.
Lately, he's done it a lot. Since Naruto's gone with Jiraiya.
She studies hard, yet she still finds time to go outside. She sometimes finds herself in front of the memorial pillar, meeting Kakashi, who smiles at her, the last of his students. Not even that, any more.
Tsunade's the only one who sees her regularly. Tsunade, who asks her how she's doing.
"I'm fine," Sakura tells her.
Everyday, Sakura lies. She isn't fine, not at all.
