Summary:
Naruto doesn't want to do his best in this mission.
Naruto hides behind a small bush. Waiting. His ears are strained, his eyes are closed, hands immobile. He focuses.
Then he moves at neck breaking speed. He allows his kunai to fly towards his target, impeccably aimed. He misses.
Sasuke is standing against the tree bark mere centimeters from where the kunai hit, looking nonplussed.
"You've got to do better, if you want me," he says with a lopsided smirk, and leaps upwards. He calls behind his back, "You're still an idiot."
Naruto remains, unsure of whether he should follow. He remembers the mission: Kill Uchiha Sasuke.
The chase begins.
