The one eyed dragon is on the brink of death and ends up possessing Aiz. Bell is forced to kill Aiz to defeat the dragon once and for all. Too much of Aria's power was used up by the dragon so her life force was completely drained. Bell is devastated by Aiz's death.
Bell: Aaaahhhhhhhh!!!!! I couldn't even protect the love of my life. I don't have the right to call myself a hero anymore. I'm done. Riveria: What??? Bell: I'm done adventuring. It's time to retire. If you ever need me I'll be back at my home village. Finn: Ok but Orario won't ever be the same without you. Bell: Farewell everyone.
Time skip: 6 months later
Bell Cranel hears about a way to revive Aiz. He has to reach Floor 100. Bell accidentally sets off a trap. 20 juggernauts are released. They range from the weakest at Level 7 to the strongest at Level 12. Bell is a Level 10 at this time. Orario falls in one night.
Six months pass and all the Juggernaut's are killed except for the Level 12 one. By this time, only Finn, Bell, and Ottar remain. Ottar and Finn try to hold off the last Juggernaut so that Bell can activate his reality shifting magic. He activates it as Finn and Ottar are both impaled by the Juggernaut's leg. Bell goes back to 5 years in the past.
