Remember Who You Are

heheheh I like this song so I decided to make a songfic out of itand yeah so enjoy

Warning:Kind of over dramatic and flames will be laughed at cause they're funny and Major Character death (though only metioned once)

Kouga looked at the rain that was poring outside the cave. It had been a while since he had been separated from the Ginta and Hakaku. Kouga looked out at the rain for a while more and then turned back to the fire. Then Kouga herd footsteps coming closer to the cave entrance. Kouga prepared himself for an attack but then gasped at who was at the entrance.

Sound the Bugle now Play it just for me

It was Inuyasha who stood there soaking to the bone, but that isn't what made him gasp. Neither was it the fact that he was covered in bruises and cuts from head to toe.

As the seasons change

I remember how I use to be

Kouga gasped because the look of emptiness that resided in Inuyasha's eyes. Inuyasha slowly stumbled over to the fire.

Now I can't go on

I can't even start

I've got nothing left

Just an empty heart

Kouga watched slowly as Inuyasha sat down and stared into the flame.

I'm a solider

I'm wounded so I must give up the fight

Kouga watched Inuyasha slump slowly towards the ground.

There is nothing more for me

Lead me away

And leave me lying here

Inuyasha was sprawled across the ground looking up at the roof of the cave. Kouga not knowing what to do slowly crawled over in him.

Sound the Bugle now

Inuyasha turned his head to look at Kouga. "Go away Kouga" Inuyasha said slowly

Kouga was taken back by lack of resistance in Inuyasha's voice.

Tell them I don't care

Kouga looked at Inuyasha very closely and then noticed that the water that was rolling down Inuyasha's face was not the rainwater but Inuyasha's tears. Kouga could only watch not knowing what to do.

There is not a road I know that leads me anywhere

Inuyasha suddenly bolted up screaming, "They're all gone! Kagome… Sango… Miroku… Shippo and Kirara… There all gone!" Kouga was surprised at this not only because Kagome was gone cause how Inuyasha was crying.

Without a light

I feel that I will stumble in the dark

Lay right down beside

Not to go on…

Even though Kouga was upset a thought came though his head and stood up and softly slapped Inuyasha across the face, "GET YOUSELF TOGETHER! DO YOU THINK KAGOME WOULD WANT TO SEE YOU LIKE THIS!" Inuyasha was slightly shocked at this.

And from up high

Somewhere in the distance

There's a voice that calls 'remember who you are!'

"Crying will get you nowhere!" Kouga said as tears started to come to his eyes as well. "Now get up," Kouga commanded pushing his own tears back.

If you lose yourself

Your courage soon will follow

"Now come on I got some food," Kouga said leading Inuyasha into the dry part of the cave.

So be strong tonight

And remember who you are

Outside the rain slowly started to slow down.

You're a solider now fighting in a battle

To be free once more!

Yeah!

That's what fighting's for!

Then the rain came to a stop and the sun's rays filtered through the clouds.
