(2 years prior)

Momo stared as she walked around the Arc Reactor. "Th-this," she stammered. "This is incredible! What made you think of this? What's the main conductor?"

"Well… It came to me in a dream. It runs on a palladium core. As for the output. This size gives off about… 75 gigajoules of energy. A larger version would give off approximately 200 gigajoules and my miniature version clocks in at about 8."

"Why do you have a miniature version?" She turned to him and paused as an interactive holographic display laid out in front of him.

"To power this. This is how I'm getting into UA. The Armored Suit. I've been working on this design since I was four, and needed a proper power source to get it just right. The last 8 years have been spent building up the funds for the right equipment to make the moderate version in front of you so I could work down and build the miniature version for the Suit. Which I was going to start building soon to be ready for the Entrance Exams. The only problem being I need to move materials discretely to this warehouse so I can work on them. And make sure competitors don't find out where I work."

"Let me guess. You want me to make the materials and equipment for you in exchange for you helping me." Momo crossed her arms with a scowl. Of course he'd blackmail her into…

"No. I want someone who can keep pace and who knows the ins and outs of atomic structure to pass ideas around with for materials for the suit. Other than SAARI who, while a great help, I can only do so much with. I'd prefer human interactions so I don't end up… you know… alone. No offense, SAARI."

"None taken, sir," said SAARI. "It would actually be better for you to have friends that aren't just machines. Psychologically speaking, anyways."

"So. You don't want to use my Quirk," asked Momo.

"No. I would never ask you to use your Quirk for my own benefit. I'm not a bad guy. Well… not entirely."

"Meaning?" Izuku sighed and ran his hand over his hair.

"I've been selling patents since I was four when I discovered I was Quirkless. My intelligence has always been high. I made a billion American in two years and through investments, made more. When I was 6, I created SAARI. I was already starting on the Arc Reactor and needed someone to help monitor the energy readings. The downside was I needed to keep this from my mom. A lot of questions would pop up if we suddenly got millions of dollars added to our accounts given my mom's job. Questions she wouldn't be able to answer and my mom doesn't need that kind of stress. She stresses enough about me every day given modern society. And the bullying I managed to get myself out of in primary. Mostly, anyways. My old friend Kachan, Katsuki Bakugou, was one of them and I got him caught by a passing hero I knew would be on patrol. He reported the incident and was informed of other counts of Kachan and others messing with me. Needless to say, they had to tell my mom and she got more worried at what I must've gone through. She even started stress eating. I couldn't do that to her."

"So you never helped out your family?"

"I did. I convinced my mom to partake in a lottery sponsored by one Tony Stark of Stark Industries for lower income families. Us and several other families won and received about a couple million yen. Enough to help with rent for a while. I make it seem random whenever we apply so they never become suspicious. I want to tell them. But how do you go about telling your parent you've been making billions since you were four while they continue to struggle?"

"I honestly don't know."

"Yeah. So I'm a bad guy while not being a bad guy. If that makes sense."

"Yeah. It does."

"But back on track. My proposal. You help me with building the armor, bouncing around ideas to go with what I've already got planned, and in turn I'll supply Yaoyorozu Industries with exclusive contracts to help with your employees. I get minimal profit; you keep the majority and your employees have their jobs saved with production of new products and sales. Win-win."

"That's it?"

"That's it. And you get to be part owner for the patent for the armor." 'Definitely not having that happen again.' "Please help me do this. This armor will help a lot of people." Momo looked at the hologram and moved to it. She pointed to the hands and feet.

"What are these?"

"My Repulsors. They're a propulsion system that can couple as an offensive measure when using my hands which also act as stabilizers while in flight. Theoretically speaking."

"Theoretic… you haven't even tested it?!"

"Well, technically they've been used in the American Asteroid Defense System. Wiped out a few asteroids in the belt. They've been used in that and missile systems by the SDF. But they've never been tested for something like this." 'In this world, at least.' Momo looked at the designs again and hummed.

"What met…"

"Gold-Titanium alloy."

"Planning to spacewalk?" She smiled at him.

"Eventually. One of the problems I see is encountering a villain with an ice ability. My armor would frost over and I would be left immobile and my systems would be glitched."

"So using gold-titanium alloy would solve that, at least initially and allow you to counterattack more effectively. That's…"

"Common sense. Don't use genius. This…" He tapped the Arc Reactor. "This is genius. And that…" He pointed to the projection of the armor. "Is the second most beautiful thing in this room."

"And you think flattery will affect my choice, do you?"

"Oh, I was talking about me." Izuku smirked as Momo giggled before looking him in the eye.

"Alright, Mr. Stark. We have a deal."

"In that case, SAARI. Print the contract."

(Present day)

Izuku smiled as he sat across from Momo in her limo, her gift for Inko beside him. "You didn't have to spend so much for my mom, Momo," he said.

"Was it too much," asked Momo, blushing lightly. "I'm sorry. You know I'm clueless when it comes to modest gifts."

"Mom will love it. Screw the price tag. Especially since I'm going to tell her about Stark Industries."

"You are?"

"I kind of have no choice. Keeping my identity a secret in modern society when I want to be a hero is impossible. And I'll need to explain to her that I haven't been using you for my own selfish needs. So I'll explain… mostly everything. Starting from age 6 I made inventions and made a profit from selling the patents and kept the money to help my becoming a hero and discretely making lotteries to help her financially after Dad…" Momo frowned slightly as he clammed up and looked out a window.

"You never talk about him."

"It hurts to."

"Tony, I'm here for you. If you need someone to lean on then…" They sat in silence for a moment before Izuku sighed.

"Dad died when I was about 7. His job took him to Africa and a villain there took several hostages. Dad was one of them and…" Izuku's hand started shaking slightly. "He tried to help the others. Then the villain…" Momo leaned forward and placed her hand on his with a kind look. "Dad may not have had a license, but in my eyes he died a hero. And it's just another reason for me to be one. To make sure no one else goes through this, and to make sure that I can at least honor my dad in some fashion.

"Do you know which villain…"

"I never bothered looking. I don't think I'd be able to keep myself from getting revenge for Dad's death. It's better I don't know."

"Miss Yaoyorozu," said her driver. "We've arrived at Mister Midoriya's apartment."

"Thank you, Hiroshi," said Momo. "Mom and Dad are already aware I'll be staying over. You can go ahead and head home for Christmas."

"Thank you, Miss Yaoyorozu." Momo and Izuku climbed out of the limo with the boy holding Momo's gift to his mother.

"I'm sorry to bring up your father, Tony."

"Don't be. I've kept it from you long enough. We're equal partners and best friends. I'm not about to keep anything else from you." 'Well… maybe one more thing…' The two entered the apartment and Izuku placed his mother's gift at the tree. "Mom! We're here!" Hearing sniffling coming from the kitchen, the two went to investigate and saw Inko Midoriya sitting at the dining table with a package in front of her and a letter in her hand. "Mom?" Inko's head jerked up and turned to them with a small gasp.

"Oh," she said, wiping her eyes clean. "Izuku, Momo. Sorry. I didn't hear you come in."

"What's wrong?"

"It… it finally came…"

"What did," asked Momo.

"The last thing Hisashi ever sent home. His last gift to me and Izuku before he…" She glanced at Izuku who nodded.

"Speak of the devil, I guess," he muttered as he sighed. "I was just telling Momo about what happened on the ride here."

"What took so long," asked Momo.

"We don't know. But when I got home from work… here it was." Izuku walked to the package and stared at it as it had a faint humming sound coming from it.

"Did the letter say what he was sending?"

"Something his expedition was investigating and a ring he found in a ruin," said Inko. "The letter says they were both for Izuku. I already got my gift from him. It was a nice little trinket he melted into shape with his Quirk." Inko pointed to a small metal statuette resembling Inko's face before she started stress-eating. "He liked to use his Flame Breath with a unique precision in order to craft things like this for me. Though he stopped when he almost lit our home on fire." Inko smiled fondly at the statuette. Izuku picked up the package and opened it. He picked up the ring first before looking it over. It was a gold band with a black stone, a Chinese character on it.

"Huh… I thought he was in Africa. This is Chinese," he said.

"Let me see," said Momo as she took the ring. "These characters mean Heian. Darkness."

"Darkness? Where the heck did Dad find it? Or is it just something he bought from a vendor cause he thought I'd think it was cool? I wouldn't put it past him to claim it was from a ruin just to make me geek out, to be honest. I was 7." Izuku turned to the other item in the box and nearly collapsed on the spot if he didn't grip the table. It was a metal ore glowing with purple energy, a light hum coming from it.

"Sir," said SAARI in an earbud hidden in his right ear. "I'm detecting an unusual energy signature coming from that thing. You should be careful when handling it." Izuku smirked before lifting it off the table.

"I'll be fine." Izuku's mind raced at the possibilities this could mean, half believing it himself.

"I think you should be more careful with that, Izuku," said Momo.

"What's the worst that could happen?" As soon as the words left his mouth, he slammed the ore on the table and was thrown back into the TV in the living room, smashing it. "Ow…"

"One of these days, you'll start listening to me. Maybe then there wouldn't be so many accidents."

"Some of the best scientific discoveries have been made by accident, Momo."

"Don't go using that against me, Izuku Midoriya." Izuku flinched at the full name and Inko turned to Izuku.

"Are you alright," asked Inko as she looked at her son. Izuku nodded and waved her off as he stood up before looking at the ore, humming to himself.

"Jackpot…" he muttered before pocketing it and turning to his worried mother. "I'm fine mom. It was just the TV. I'll just buy a new one." Momo facepalmed silently behind Inko's back as mother stared at son.

"How do you plan on doing that?" Izuku paused before looking at Momo that said: 'Why didn't you stop me beforehand?'

"Uh… This is going to take some explaining…"

(Thirty minutes later)

Inko stared at her son as he rubbed the back of his head while Momo made some tea beside them. "You… You've made money selling inventions…?"

"Yes."

"And you've been doing this since…"

"Since I was 6. It's not a Quirk, I just spent a lot of time figuring out how to be a hero without a Quirk. I decided I needed to start inventing things, selling them, and building up enough money to buy special equipment and the license to use them under an alias. So I did a lot of research and into science and technology and made some innovative . I have an account worth billions of American dollars, and Momo's been helping me in the last two years to finalize my plan. The lotteries I convinced you to enter were guaranteed to help us financially while keeping my account fully secret so you wouldn't worry and stress more than you already were about my safety, especially after what happened to Dad." Inko frowned slightly as she looked at him.

"I'm sorry to keep this from you, Mrs. Midoriya," said Momo as she brought tea over to them. "Me and Izuku didn't meet with the best first impressions."

"Momo tried blackmailing me into helping her company." Momo hid her face with her bang as she looked away. "Something I forgave her for early on and I constantly have to remind her of that fact." He placed his hand on his best friend's over her mug and gave her a small smile before turning to Inko. "I wanted to tell you but I didn't know when the right time to explain would've been. I was going to tell you today with more tact, but my mouth outran my mind again."

"Why were you going to tell me now," asked Inko.

"The exam is in six months and we've been perfecting my project to get into UA alongside the strength training I've been doing with the strength Quirk I told you I discovered. Our MK II design is finished and ready for its test flight before we start on the MK III for the exam."

"MK III of what?"

"Izuku's Armored Suit," said Momo. "The single most technologically advanced suit of armor to date made for self-defense and rescue. It's how Izuku planned on passing the physical part of the exam." Izuku brought out his phone and showed the blueprints to Inko who was only just now seeing how advanced her son's phone really was as it projected an interactable hologram above the screen. She looked at the armor and blinked as she couldn't make heads or tails of what any of it meant.

"How did you come up with this?"

"I needed something to provide high maneuverability, offensive and defensive capabilities, tactical information, and that enhances my reaction time to be able to handle myself in a fight."

"But how…"

"My IQ is 271. I planned all this out years ago and I've been adapting as things change."

"When he met me, seeing how smart I was and how it helped with my Quirk, he changed his plans to incorporate me into them" said Momo. "He's had an answer for every problem we've faced so far. And his driving force has been to make sure you don't worry for him so much."

"That meant keeping my IQ level a secret from everyone, including you so you wouldn't catch on too early, using an alias to sell my inventions, and making an AI in order to help monitor my lab and the online presence of people looking for Tony Stark. Though I needed to give her a slight upgrade when an annoying girl managed to find me."

"You see me holding scalding hot tea, right?"

"I retract my last statement."

"A pleasure to meet you, Mrs. Midoriya," said SAARI from Izuku's phone after he put it on speaker. Inko jumped and stared at the phone. "I am SAARI."

"Don't worry, Mom. She's just a Slightly Above Average and Reliable Intelligence."

"Sir seems to be lazy when it comes to acronyms."

"Names hardly matter in the long run anyways."

"Ok, Deku," said Momo. Izuku clicked his tongue before turning to her.

"Really?"

"Yes." Inko looked between the two of them.

"You know I hate being called that."

"And I don't like being called annoying, Tony." They were interrupted as the doorbell rang.

"I… I think it's the Bakugou's," said Inko, thankful for the distraction. Izuku groaned and looked towards the ceiling.

"I half forgot Mom invited them…"

"At least now I'll get to give that guy a piece of my mind," muttered Momo.

"Please don't get involved. Katsuki tends to be… extremely abrasive when confronted."

"DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO, YOU HAG," could be heard shouted from outside the door to the apartment.

"WHO ARE YOU CALLING A HAG, YOU UNGRATEFUL BRAT," shouted a more mature and feminine voice.

"YOU!"

"Mitsuki," said Inko. "Katsuki, Masaru. Thanks for coming."

"Of course, Inko," said the woman, a more friendly tune than the yelling the two geniuses had heard previously.

"Who," started Momo as she turned to Izuku.

"Mitsuki is Katsuki's mom. To this day, he still denies he's like her," said Izuku with a roll of the eyes. Momo noticed he was making his way as far away from the entrance as possible.

"Tony?"

"Just trying to get a head start before…"

"Where's Izuku," called Mitsuki. Momo turned to her friend and partner and saw him blanche slightly as he tried opening a window to make an escape. Izuku paused as he felt eyes land on him.

"Shit…" Momo blinked as a blur rushed past her and Izuku was suddenly in the chest of a beautiful woman who was smirking at the blushing mess in her arms.

"There's my favorite nephew!"

"H-h-hi, Auntie Mitsuki…" Izuku tried prying himself from her cleavage, steam ejecting from his ears. "Momo? Help please?" He turned to Momo and saw her smirk before snapping a picture with her phone. "That's not helping!" Mitsuki turned to her with a smile.

"Oh. Hello. Who are you?"

"Hello, ma'am," said Momo with a smile. "I'm Momo Yaoyorozu."

"Are you my Izu's girlfriend?" Momo blushed as Izuku seemed to redden even more, if such a thing were possible, at her words.

"N-no! I-it's not like that!"

"Good, then I can keep things as usual!" Izuku blanched before being buried again.

"Mitsuki," said Inko with a sigh. "Please stop suffocating my son." Momo turned to the door and saw Inko lead in two people. A man with short brown hair and stubble on his chin with glasses framing brown eyes, and a boy who looked like a younger Mitsuki with a permanent scowl on his face. Momo identified him instantly as Izuku's bully and former friend. She glared slightly before finally moving to Izuku and pulling him from the older woman. Izuku gasped and gave her a look.

"What? It's not often I see you get flustered like that," said Momo with a smirk.

"You are an evil woman," he said.

"Then you know not to cross me." Mitsuki watched to two interact before moving to Inko and lowering her voice.

"How are they not dating," she asked.

"They're both overthinking things," replied Inko. "Given how smart they both are, it's little wonder why."

"What do you mean?"

"Izuku's a genius, Mitsuki. He's been working on a project to get him into UA. The amount of planning he's done… it's incredible. He just told me about it now."

Hearing this, Bakugou stared at Inko for a moment before glaring at Izuku. 'Deku get into UA? Like anything that loser makes could ever do that,' thought the explosive blonde. He scoffed before heading to the living room and seeing the TV. "The hell happened here," he asked, turning to Inko.

"Just an accident. We're going to take care of it soon." Izuku looked at his mother and smiled slightly. Momo turned to Izuku as they moved to their own corner and lowered her voice.

"Wanna tell me why you slammed the gift from your father?"

"Something he told me about before he died," whispered Izuku. "An ore of unknown origin with an atomic mass of 200. It absorbed kinetic energy and redirected it out." A quick lie now that he'd confirmed the presence of Vibranium in this world. How lucky was he? "When it had stored up its mass in kinetic energy, it released it back in full force. Using this, one could create an armor plating unlike anything in the world."

"You want to use it for the armor?"

"I want to study it. See if we can find more and then use it to hopefully make something useful. Something to hopefully rival the Arc Reactor. When my dad told me about this, the potential applications I imagined were… limitless. Kinetic shielding, conductive properties, armor plating, and so much more. We get this to the lab we can find out how to find more of it."

"I could always…"

"No. It'd be too much for you. It's an unknown element. I won't let you risk your own health for this. If it's the only sample, that's fine. I'll find some way to make it useful." Momo extended her hand to him.

"Can I see it?" Izuku nodded and handed her the ore. Momo tried not to think on how Izuku's hand lingered slightly before she examined the ore, listening to the vibrating hum it gave off. "Did your father tell you how he found it?"

"No. But if I had to guess, a meteorite crash site. I doubt this is in a very large quantity. There's no way anyone would know about this or what it can do." 'Unless you're from Wakanda.'

"You two look absolutely adorable together," said Mitsuki. "Did you two know that?" Izuku and Momo blushed and looked away from each other.

"Mitsuki," said Inko. "I think that's enough embarrassing them. Momo, I'm sorry for her."

"It's fine, Inko," said Momo. Inko noticed Momo glance at Izuku as the two tried to school their features from the blonde woman's comment. She smiled at the two before going to bring the dinner out.

After dinner and opening the presents, Inko freaking out at the laptop Momo had bought for her as a present, being beside herself on whether to thank the girl or reject the gift for it being too much, and Katsuki yelling at either his mother or Izuku for one reason or another, the Bakugou's left, and Inko sighed as she closed the door. "Are you ok, Mom," asked Izuku.

"I'm fine. I think this day just took a lot out of me. Learning my son is a genius and a billionaire at that, hearing you created an A.I. and are working on a suit of armor for the UA Exam. It was all a lot to take in. I think my mind would've shut down if the Bakugou's hadn't shown up when they did."

"Sorry."

"It's ok. Honestly, I'm just glad you have Momo to look after you. Mitsuki is right, you know. You two do look great together." Izuku blushed lightly. "Are you ever going to ask her out?"

"I… I don't know. I don't even know if she likes me."

"She likes you. You'd have to be a vegetable not to notice it."

"Technically, if they have a Quirk that can Astral Project," said SAARI. "They can notice it too."

"Thank you, SAARI." Inko turned to Izuku. "So?"

"I… I don't know. I don't want to mess things up with her if I hurt her too much. I think that's exactly what will happen if I do." He looked outside with a frown. "I'm an idiot, despite my IQ. I'll do something to hurt her if we start dating, I know it. I just… She's my best friend. If I lose her I…"

"You're going to be a hero, right? What's a hero without courage?" Izuku paused before slumping into a chair.

"Why'd you have to throw that into my face?"

"Because you're my son. And I know you and Momo will be great together. Plus, that's my payback for you springing your millions on me."

"Billions, actually."

"That's not the point and you know it, Mister." Mother and son smiled at each other before Momo came out of the bathroom in her sleepwear, a set of lavender pajamas, her hair down and framing her face. Izuku turned to her and paused as he saw her, eyes taking in how she looked out of her normal hairstyle. Inko nudged him and he shook himself before smiling at Momo.

"Inko," said Momo as she hugged the pillow she made. "Are you sure I'm not intruding?"

"Of course you're not. When Izuku told me your family was going to be in America for a business trip during Christmas, I thought it would be better if you had some fun rather than having to spend time alone in a stuffy hotel while your parents work."

"Thank you." Momo smiled and Izuku blushed lightly before turning to the window. "Honestly, you're the first people to treat me like a normal person."

"Well that's what middle class does for someone," quipped Izuku. Momo pushed him lightly at the jab at her growing up rich.

"You're rich too, Tony."

"But I didn't over indulge, Miss 'My-Manor-Is-On-The-Small-Side'." Momo blushed as the Midoriya's chuckled before she smacked her best friend with her pillow.

"Don't tease me."

"Ok. For now." Momo gave him a look before smirking as she turned to Inko.

"Is the guest room ready?"

"Yes," said Inko. "It's the door past Izuku's room." Mentioning the room Momo smirked as she glanced at Izuku who was looking at his phone.

"I wonder what your room looks like, Tony."

"Nice try," said Izuku with a smirk. "I hid anything that could count as ammo."

"His normal bedding is stuffed in the hall closet," whispered Inko to Momo who smirked.

"Mom!" Momo giggled before heading to the guest room.

As the two most important women in his life slept, Izuku sat at his desk, working on the design for a massive version of the Iron Man Armor. Similar to the Hulkbuster Armor he had developed as Tony Stark to incapacitate the Hulk. Contrary to what he told Momo; he had learned who Hisashi had lost his life to. A villain who's Quirk enhanced his muscles to the point of protruding out of his body and with a history of violence. He normally stuck to Japan. When Izuku learned the villain had shifted gears and was suddenly in Africa for one reason or another, and that he'd taken hostages, he'd been trying to piece together why while also planning to bring enough firepower to overcome the immense strength of Muscular to get answers out of him. He was interrupted as his phone blipped on and SAARI started speaking. "Sir," she said. "You should get some rest. It is getting rather late." Izuku wiped his eyes and looked at the time before sighing.

"Just a few more minutes. I need to get as much of this design done as possible as soon as possible."

"Shall I get Ma'am and force her to get you to sleep? Chancing she'd see the designs you cooked up for Muscular?" Izuku sighed and shook his head.

"No. No. Better she don't know about this just yet."

"I still think you should tell her the truth."

"That I've been working on a design to use against my father's killer? No thank you. She'll think it's out of vengeance."

"Isn't it?"

"No. Not… not entirely. Muscular was there for a reason. He took hostages for a reason. He worked outside of his usual MO. Nothing in his past suggests he'd ever do this on a whim, not when he's comfortable with things as they are. Someone placed him there that day. Someone hired him for something. I want to know who and why. I want to know how he got there, and I want to know what he was doing. Because the investigators have done nothing along those lines."

"So you're after the shooter, not the gun."

"I want to know what was so important for them to recruit a psychopath like Muscular and have him go out of his way to take hostages. I want to know exactly what my father died for. Mom deserves to know." There was silence as SAARI contemplated Izuku's words.

"…Twelve minutes. Then I will get Ma'am if you're still up and you'll have to explain this to her."

"Fine." Izuku sighed before turning back to his notes and continuing on plans that could stop even the Hulk where the Hulkbuster couldn't. After a few minutes, the boy yawned and shook his head. He hid away his designs before moving to his bed and instantly falling asleep.

He was jerked awake and groaned before opening his eyes and seeing Momo leaning above of him. "Oh, good, I'm still dreaming…"

"Tony," exclaimed Momo, ignoring his words. "Someone's broken into the lab!"

(Stark Labs)

Mei grinned as her latest baby managed to undo the pesky math lock as her friend stood behind her, acting as look out. "This can't be a good idea," said the girl behind Mei.

"I just want to see the designs," said Mei, her smile still present on her lips. "The owner won't mind."

"You realize this is breaking and entering, right?"

"I didn't break anything!" The girl turned to her and glared. "Correction! I didn't break anything belonging to Mr. Green!"

"Mr. Green?"

"I don't know his name so I called him by his hair!"

"Why am I friends with you again?"

"Because I keep making the gadgets you like so much!"

"Right. Which means I'm stuck with you and your sins are mine." She sighed and notched an arrow on the bow she was carrying before shooting a can off a trashcan to the ground. "Can you hurry up and find what you need? I don't like the thought of us being here. The police could catch us and then it's good bye UA."

"You worry too much!" Mei grinned as she opened the door. "Come on, Nat! Four eyes are better than two!" Nat sighed and moved a red bang from in front of her cerulean eyes and followed Mei into the warehouse.

"We don't even know what we're… looking for…" She paused as she saw the suit of armor in the middle of the room in its chrome glory. She blinked and gripped her head slightly as Mei practically giggled and ran to the armor.

"Look at this beauty! Whoever built this is a genius!"

"Which means they probably have a…" Nat jumped and aimed an arrow at the door as it slammed closed and the lights came on. "Security system. Mei! If I die here, I'm tormenting you in hell!" They paused as they heard a whirring and turned to the armor. Nat switched her arrow to aim at it as it stepped off the platform and aimed its hands at the two of them.

"Ladies," said the woman's voice from the armor. "You're trespassing. I suggest you surrender peacefully or I'll be forced to incapacitate you."

"Like I'll take orders from a tin can." Nat released the arrow and covered her eyes as an energy blast obliterated it in an instant, showering the two with debris.

"Sorry, ladies. But I have to stop all intruders with any means short of killing them."

"Mei! I blame you for this!" Nat released arrows in rapid succession as her best friend whizzed about the lab, trying to see if she could find anything else of interest before she stopped in front of a glowing blue device. Nat groaned as the woman seemed to shoot each arrow out of the air with pinpoint accuracy before it lifted up and dove for her. "Ah!" Nat ducked before running for Mei and tackling her to the ground as the woman dove for her as well. Nat aimed another arrow but blinked as she found her bow broken in half from a well-aimed blast to the string. "Shit! Mei! I hope you brought more than just two babies!"

"Oh, right," exclaimed Mei as she reached into a pocket and pulled out a camera. "I need to take pictures of all this stuff!"

"Not what I meant!" Mei gasped as the armor shot the camera and shattered it.

"My baby!"

"Mei, focus!" Nat reached into her quiver and pulled out an arrow with a device just below the tip. "Dammit. I was saving this for the exams, you bitch!" Nat stood up as the woman shot for her and she managed to jab the arrow just below the arm as she ducked under her. Mei and Nat watched as the armor started sparking before the device in the chest, resembling the one Mei was nearly hypnotized by, exploded, sending shrapnel everywhere and forcing Nat to tackle Mei behind the cover of two clawed machines as the armor crashed to the ground. "No, no, no…" Nat looked at the armor before breathing a sigh of relief as she saw it was empty. "Wait. That was empty. How the hell…?" Her answer came as one of the claws removed her quiver before both of them grabbed the girls by their ankles and lifted them off the ground.

"Sir is really not going to be happy about this," said the woman over a speaker. "Who in their right mind uses an electrically charged arrow?"

"Do you like it," exclaimed Mei, unfazed by their current dilemma. "It's my own invention to deal with a villain's potential support item!"

"Mei," groaned Nat. "Remind me to kick you after this." They turned to the door as three people rushed in. One a woman with dark green hair, one a girl their age with black hair and onyx eyes who Nat instantly compared to Mei in one department, and a boy, more than likely the woman's son, based on the hair, who stared at the wreckage between them and dropped to his knees.

"My suit," he exclaimed. "What the hell did you do to my suit?!"

"Mr. Green," exclaimed Mei, bringing the newcomers' attention to them. "Make a baby with me!" At the boy stared at them before steam ejected from his ears and he fell backwards.

"Tony," exclaimed the girl as she caught him.

"Mei," said Nat. "Forget kicking. I'm killing you for this." Mei just hung in her spot with a carefree smile on her face as Nat rubbed her eyes in annoyance. That's when she took another look at the remnants of the armor and then the generator Mei was drooling over, noting the name on the casing. 'Wait,' she thought. 'Stark?'
