Reverend Amos Howell turned from Supergirl to the brownies he just bought in Metropolis. He smiled with her.
He looked ahead and then frowned. Amos thought he viewed confusion in her eyes.

''Are you worried about villains appearing and wrecking the brownies?''

Amos nodded.

Another smile materialized on Supergirl's face.

''I'll protect them. I remember your sweet tooth,'' Supergirl said. She looked ahead before her eyes widened. They were on one familiar villain running with a bag of cash. She frowned. ''Livewire,'' she muttered.

After Livewire viewed Amos with Supergirl, she paused near them. One scowl formed.

''Nosy preacher and Supergirl.'' One electric blast was released from Livewire's palm. Livewire watched as Supergirl protected Amos.
A smirk replaced Livewire's scowl when her attack struck Supergirl and knocked her down. She was able to view worry in Reverend Howell's wide eyes.
She wasn't concerned when he focused on her and scowled.

Livewire's eyes flew open as soon as one tentacle emerged from Reverend Howell's mouth. She cried out when her wrist was struck. She dropped the bag and glowered. Livewire heard police sirens and tensed.

''I'll attack you some other time,'' Livewire muttered before she fled.

The tentacle slid into the preacher's mouth.

Amos viewed Supergirl opening her eyes and stirring. Standing. He smiled another time.

''Chocolate together?''

Supergirl viewed the brownies before she collapsed in his arms.

''Maybe later,'' Amos muttered after another frown.

Amos eventually took Supergirl to their Smallville farm and placed her on a bed. He held the bag of brownies and remained near
her. His smile came back when she opened her eyes slowly.

''Livewire?''

''I attacked Livewire after she knocked you unconscious. She fled when she heard police sirens,'' Amos said.

''The bag of money?'' Supergirl muttered.

''It was dropped.''

Amos opened the bag and revealed a brownie. He gave one half of the treat to Supergirl while she smiled.
He ate his half. ''You earned it. You protected the brownies. Remember?''

Supergirl nodded and ate another brownie with Amos.
