Her eyes were on Nephrite kissing Sailor Jupiter and Zoisite holding Sailor Mercury for a few moments. ''We'll be together,'' she informed Kunzite.
Sailor Venus viewed his slow nod. One frown began to replace her smile.
Concern appeared in Kunzite's eyes for a moment. He frowned with her.
''We'll be together even when Metalia...''
''You can defeat her. Metalia's forces won't tear us apart,'' Kunzite said to Sailor Venus. He remembered hearing about Metalia corrupting humans and convincing them to attack the Moon Kingdom. Kunzite released Sailor Venus and smiled. He remained by her side. Near Prince Endymion.

Scowling, Sailor Venus watched as a dark form of energy appeared. Then one woman with a sword. One of Metalia's warriors. Beryl.
She recalled Beryl falling in love with Prince Endymion and the latter's scowl when he chose to cherish Princess Serenity. She focused on Beryl.
''Snap out of it! Metalia is controlling you!'' Sailor Venus informed Beryl.
The woman smiled. ''I don't mind. Just as long as I can end Princess Serenity's life. As long as Prince Endymion is with me.''
Beryl raised the sword above her head and attacked everyone. Metalia's forces joined her.
After Kunzite revealed a sword, he prepared to protect Sailor Venus. Glowering, he battled one of Beryl's soldiers. His sword clashed with the other weapon repeatedly. Confusion then formed in his eyes as soon as Metalia approached him. Went to Jadeite with Zoisite and Nephrite.
''What are you up to, Metalia?'' he snapped.
Metalia smiled. She surrounded Kunzite with his companions. She focused on them as they writhed. Extra soldiers for her.
Sailor Venus faced the man she loved with wide eyes. She remembered her words about them being together. ''Kunzite!'' she exclaimed.
Her eyes remained on Kunzite as he smirked. When his companions imitated his current expression. ''We were going to be together! Remember?''
Sailor Venus recalled being in his arms earlier. Tears formed in her eyes when Kunzite joined Beryl's side. The minute Jadeite and Zoisite went to her. After Nephrite followed them. She turned to the other Sailor Soldiers. Their eyes were wide with her.
''We gained other warriors. Let the Sailor Soldiers wallow in sorrow,'' Metalia said.
Kunzite focused on Metalia as he departed with her.
Extra tears appeared in the eyes of Sailor Venus before she scowled another time. ''Never together?'' she muttered.
