Notes: This is my 'When Love and Lies Collide' Hunter and Willow, AKA 'Of Balanced Stones' and 'Broken Cage, Binding Chains', in the future when two of their kids are born!

Hunter let out a long sigh as he turned to set the box of trail mix they had down. " I thought I told Edmund not to pick the chocolate out anymore? We have a bag of chocolate chips he can take from!" The man went back to the pantry, not noticing how his wife stiffened and thinned her lips. Willow watched as her husband took out a box of cereal, looking inside it before hanging his head.

"Marshmallows gone?" Willow asked, trying to fake as much innocence as she could.

"I assume Lucia's doing… How are we supposed to get the kids to stop?" Hunter asked as he turned and sat the box down with the trail mix. " I bet I am going to find the crest mix has had the little bread parts picked out of it as well."

"Y-yeah, probably." Willow forced her eyes back onto her book, lifting it up to hide her blush. Hunter turned to set the last box on the counter before glancing at Willow and pausing. She looked… guilty? Why did she- wait….Oooh...oooh this was delicious. Hunter slowly leaned over to the dark-haired witch, lifting his finger to rest it on top of her book and pull it down from her face slightly.

"Willow?" Hunter asked, narrowing his eyes slightly as Willow sheepishly looked up at him, the blush on her cheeks getting more noticeable. "...Did you do this?" Willow went to bury her face in her book, now avoiding the judging eyes of the blonde across from her. Hunter couldn't help but drop his jaw slightly, then smile. " Willow Clawthorne-Park, you did NOT!"

"If I blame our unborn child will I get off easy?" Willow whined from under the pages.

"Not a chance! Were you about to let the kids take the fall for you picking out certain bits?" Hunter was trying so hard not to laugh, " WHY would you do that?!"

"It's not my fault some stuff tastes better than others!" Willow whined as she sat her book down, her cheeks still red.

"We have a bag of chocolate chips!" Hunter pointed out, he couldn't help but have a smug smile on his face as his wife kept her eyes off him.

"They don't taste as good as the chocolate that comes in the trail mix…" Willow moved her hands together, pouting. Hunter laughed as he went to wrap his arms around his wife, hugging her close. " Hunter, stop laughing!"

"I'm sorry!" Hunter chuckled, moving to kiss her cheek. " Do I need to start hiding our cereal from you?"

"No! No! I am sure these cravings are not THAT bad!"

"It's been happening the past five days, Willow."

"Its-...It's fiiine…"

"Oh yeah? Are you willing to deal with Lucia's mood after she realizes her favorite cereal has no marshmallows?"

"...Listen, what she doesn't know will not hurt her."

" HOW will she not know?"

" Just...cut up some of the marshmallows we have and mix them in?"

Hunter snorted, letting out a loud laugh as he moved to smack his face with his hand, wrapping his arm tighter around his wife who wiggled in a fake upset against him. After getting control of himself, Hunter placed a kiss on the top of Willow's head. " How about you tell the truth to our daughter so she isn't pondering forever why the marshmallows in her cereal suddenly changed?"

"Hunter…" Willow whined, frowning.

"Willow…" Hunter mimicked her tone, smirking down at her. " We need to set good examples, and confessing our mistakes should be one of them." Willow sighed through her nose as she stared up at her husband with narrowed eyes.

"...fine…" She grumbled, sinking into her husband in defeat.

"You at least have until morning to decide how to broach the subject on how you broke rules I sat for her." Hunter smirked, making Willow huff and glare up at him again. " I love you~" He said down to her, making her glare soften as a small smirk appeared on her own lips.

"I love you too." She sighed, moving to kiss the bottom of his chin. " And you thought you were not going to be a good father." She smiled into him, making his own grow bigger.

Lucia stared at her cereal in half bafflement. She hadn't poured the milk in yet, which at least allowed her to shift the contents in her bowl with her finger.

" Are you going insane?" Edmund asked up at her, waiting for his turn to use the step-stool and milk as he held his own cereal choice to his chest. " Does this mean I can have your half of our bedroom?"

"Not a chance!" Lucia said down to him before picking her bowl up, turning to show it to him. " But there are no marshmallows! Did you eat them?"

"Eugh, no… you know I don't like that stuff!"

"You're weird."

"YOU are weird!"

Willow thinned her lips slightly as she heard her kids in the kitchen. Hunter came up behind her, smirking before leaning over to whisper to her, " Well, go on." He moved to give her a smack on her butt, making her jump lightly as she sneered back at him before moving into the kitchen.

"Mom! Edmund ate the marshmallows from my cereal!" Lucia whined, pointing an accusing finger at her brother.

"You have no proof and cannot stand up against me in court!" Edmund pointed back to his sister, his words giving the girls pause as Hunter was heard snorting from the doorway. " I want my lawyer!"

"Edmund, buddy, you are too young to have a lawyer." Hunter pointed out.

"Yeah I do, Lil' Rascal is the best lawyer on this side of the Titan!" Edmund pointed up at the cardinal who was resting in the rafters. Hunter turned to look up at his palisman, who looked back down at Hunter and let out a series of chirps, stating his client would not be answering questions at this time. Hunter snorted, then let out a few laughs as he moved his hand to his head.

"O-Oh yeah?! Well...Clover is MY lawyer!" Lucia fought back, making the bee palisman on the counter buzz and fly up, turning in challenge to Lil' Rascal who took to the air as well, the two lawyers about to duke it out. " Mom, you are the judge!" Lucia said to Willow, making the woman breath in sharply. She glanced over at Hunter, who held a smug look on his face.

"A-actually, kids…" Willow closed her eyes, before looking back to her children, who looked up at her. "...I was the one who ate the marshmallows out of the cereal…" Willow half-grumbled. Edmund gave a loud gasp, turning to face his mother proper.

"A twist! The judge was the criminal!" He exclaimed, before turning back to his sister, " I told you I didn't eat it!"

"Mooom!" Lucia whined, pouting slightly up at Willow. " But now we can't mimic that video game Aunty Luz likes…" Hunter turned to head to a counter, snorting loudly again at his daughter's reaction.

" I'm sorry, Baby." Willow moved to set her hand on the top of her daughter's head. " My pregnancy cravings are getting the better of me at times. Can you forgive me for eating the marshmallows out of your cereal?"

"Oh...That's ok, Mama! I love you too much to care about the missing marshmallows." Lucia grinned up at her Mother. Willow sighed through her nose, smiling down at her daughter. " Can you tell the baby to share, though?"

"T-the baby?" Willow quirked her brow.

"Yeah, aren't cravings just the way the baby eats?"

"...Sure, let's go with that." Willow stated, hearing her husband's snort again from across the kitchen as he handed Edmund his bowl of cereal, having prepared it for his son while his wife and daughter talked.

"Do you think the baby will have a craving for McBaphomet for dinner?" Edmund asked over to Willow, who gave a light smirk to her son.

"Maybe, if your Father can be convinced to pick it up on his way back from work."

"Sure...I assume you want me to try to get the Azura toy?" Hunter asked as he ruffled his son's hair, turning to pass the boy as he went to the coffee pot. " Same as you, Lucia?"

"Yes please!"

" Absolutely, Dad!"

"Then McBaphomet it will be for dinner, then."

AN: I hope you guys enjoyed the twist for this one! When I saw the 'Confession' prompt I knew I wanted to try something different than what people would expect. I love writing for the kids, though trying to think of ideas for them can be difficult. Thanks, as always, to Mr. Spinner for beta reading and editing!
