Repsaj Kooh smiled after Ailicec was in his arms. He viewed tears in her eyes. Ailicec's scowl.
''I hate King Kooh!''
''We're with one another for once. Perhaps my sibling won't order me to protect him from his enemies this time.''
Repsaj kissed Ailicec and continued to smile. He looked back. His eye widened as soon as a cobra appeared. He recalled King Kooh's habit of allowing the snake to slither throughout their home.
Repsaj scowled.
''Animals aren't permitted here.''
The cobra departed.
Repsaj turned to Ailicec as tears ran down her face. ''I'm here.''
After Repsaj looked back another time, he frowned. He viewed King Kooh appearing and glowering.
''Animals aren't permitted here.''
King Kooh never left.
''Protect your brother from enemies this instant,'' King Kooh said.
Frowning again, Repsaj faced Ailicec and viewed extra tears in her eyes. He attempted to smile. ''I'll return as soon as possible,'' he said. Repsaj started to kiss her another time. He revealed a sword and joined King Kooh. He ran to the latter's enemies and battled them.
Repsaj's sword clashed with another blade repeatedly. His eye flew open when he was disarmed. Another enemy held him. He struggled.
''BROTHER!''
King Kooh managed to disarm one of his enemies. After King Kooh approached Repsaj, he brought his hook down on the enemy's arm.
Rare concern formed in his eyes when Repsaj was released. He watched as his enemies fled.
''How are you, Repsaj?''
''I'm fine.''
Repsaj's happy expression came back before he nodded. He returned to Ailicec. His arms were around her again.
''My wife is safe with me.''
Ailicec proceeded to smile.
Perhaps King Kooh wasn't a type of animal. He was why Repsaj remained alive.
