Flew miles
To be a librarian.
He is a teacher
A watcher of slayers,
Buffy fights creatures
And a key player.
Giles helps Buffy
As best he can.
She is always huffy
At all of Giles' plans.
After two years
He was fired
Council showed no tears
His job had expired.
Soon he was replaced,
Buffy turned sour.
Wesley came in with a grace
While the mayor gain power.
Giles is always needed
But he'd been there to long.
Willow pleaded
That him leaving was wrong.
Back to England
Giles went.
No longer a band
To Anya the Magic Box was lent.
Willow was sad
So she killed someone.
She was so mad
Giles heart came undone.
After saving her
They went back.
Buffy his slayer
Was stuck in black.
Once Willow learned
He sent her home.
Buffy was getting burned
Because she was on her own.
A new enemy came.
Potentials were killed,
The First Evil was the name
An army of Potentials were filled.
A battle of wits
Had taken place
The First had a fit
It no longer had a scary face.
Giles was there
Through it all.
Always using his glare,
Right down to the First's fall.
Giles taught Buffy
All he knew
No longer stuffy
He became the Scooby glue.
